One of the probable reasons as to why Kaeya didn't arrive on time for Crepus and Diluc when they were attacked was because he, and the knights with him, had no vision, and thus, cannot use a teleport waypoint.

Him receiving his cryo vision when he was supposed to get scorched by Diluc was genuinely the biggest slap to the face given to him by Celestia. It arrived just in time to save HIM.

Even now, the vision only heals and shields him alone as a manifestation of his desire to keep living from that fight... but he can't use it to help others.

i wanted to make a journal-themed entry for the victory curse, since i have smajor brainrot all of the time and i felt like it was a somewhat missed opportunity for angst :]

plus it's a cool concept, if people like it i might do the canary curse and a few others!

(shoutout to my brother for doing the 'laurel' and then proceeding to fail every other word he tried-)

The "Victory" Curse

Top: Cursebearer and allies are predisposed to victory in the Life games; often results in repetitive loss of allies or partners, as well as those who See attempting to take advantage of the cursebearer. Strong-willed and fiercely loyal, even to the death.

Note: Curse is warded off but not cancelled by Canary curse; effects unknown. Range is possibly extended?

one thing I have to keep reremembering every time I'm playing a soulslike/similar kind of difficult game -- and that I wish I could internalize elsewhere in my life as well -- is that you always, always have to suffer through the long dark of an inexplicable failcringe era before you can emerge into a fresh new dawn of competence. faceplanting into humiliating failure in ways you hadn't even conceived of before on a loop can sometimes be the herald of great and wondrous things to come soon. don't be so quick to abandon yourself in the early murk of daybreak because you think you just suck!!!

A Poem: Getting comfortable in My Own Skin Doesn't mean I have to share it with you. No. Getting comfortable in My Skin means no man will ever fix his mouth - to tell Me. A receptacle of Life. What I can and cannot do with My Body. How I can or cannot use This Vessel. No. Any man hell, any wo-man will be damned if they think they have the veracity. When you are able to provide what is truly required of a Life Bearer, Then you may speak. As a life receptacle - it is My responsibility to ensure My Vessel is Pure. Mentally. Physically. Emotionally. Wholly. Before I could ever think I was worthy of carrying Life within My Womb. It is My responsibility to Know. That I Am capable, and have the means to sufficiently care for the Life I Am choosing to bring into this World. For it is My sole responsibility to see it to fruition as the bearer of it's Precious Life. Be I damned if I deny this Life what it was created for. Pure Love. Be I damned if I attempt to distort or meld this Pure Heart To a will of My Own Selfish Choosing. Life was meant to be Savoured. You see We were All Perfectly Flavoured. Created in Perfection, our Differences are Our Greatest Reflections. Trying to make another conform, shows it is Your Mind that needs a reform.
