A graduate of a famed Large School of Music, Art and the Performing Arts in New York, Carla Gallo made an auspicious debut with a supporting part in a controversial Independent feature by David O. Russell, Spanking the Monkey, when she was 19 years old. Convincingly playing Toni Peck, the naĂŻve girl-next-door dated by Jeremy Davies for his frustration, Gallo was nominated for an Independent Spirit for Best Supporting Female.

Despite the promising beginning, Gallo opted to attend college and did not search on another movie until five years later, when she was featured as Pantyhose Victim in the comedy The 2four Hour Woman (1999). She followed that up with guest roles in “Law & Order” (1999) and the well-enjoyed NBC drama “ER” (2000).

In 2001, Galloâ€s career entered a refreshing action when she landed a normal on the Fox sitcom “Undeclared.” Starring as Lizzie Exley, the good-looking and charming college freshman who attracted the interest of silent Steven (Jay Baruchel) while coping with her arrogant boyfriend (Jason Segel) homewards, she shown her qualifications and charisma by tackling both weird comic bits and affectionate instances with ease. Sadly, the series only lasted for two seasons.

After the hasty end of Undeclared in 2002, the wavy-haired actress moved to another series, this time playing Libby Dreifuss in the HBO highly praised thriller “Carnivle.” During the series run from 2003-2005, Gallo shared the screen with Nick Stahl, Clea DuVall, Michael J. Anderson and Adrienne Barbeau, among others. Back to filmmaking, she advanced to the R-rated movie Sexual Life (2005), starring Eion Bailey and Elizabeth Banks, and undertook a comedic turn as a toe-sucking girl in The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005), which starred Steve Carell, Catherine Keener and Paul Rudd.

Recently, Gallo had an episodic role in “What About Brian” and appeared as Brenda in the pilot episode of “Help Me Help You” (2006). Her most recent film is the J.J Abrams-directed Mission: Impossible III (2006), playing the small role of Beth, opposite superstar Tom Cruise.
