No, of course I never played with Barbies as a kid. Those were for girls! I was doing boy stuff, not stuff for little girls. Anyway, as a trans man, here is my review of the Barbie movie, which I thoroughly enjoyed and resonated with even though I cannot personally relate to some of its more specific themes about the experience of womanhood

Two for One
Tumblr media
Two strangers discover they've been dating the same woman for two years. Betrayed and confused, they find themselves sharing a meal and a laugh—after the disaster of a double-booked anniversary dinner. But in the aftermath of betrayal, could an unlikely friendship form?
Pairing: Producer!Jungkook x Gn!reader ( however there is mentions of makeup)
Genre: humor? Angst in a way but not because of Jungkook, crack fic? Not directly romance with Jungkook? 😔🤚
Warnings: cheating (not from Jungkook), awkward situation, angst with Humor? kinda a crack fic, the reader is implied to like both men and women (sorry if you don’t, you are missing out 😔)
Wordcount: 3,278
a/n: yo yo yo, this is my first ff ever, so please be kind! I’m currently taking a creative writing class for fun (yay, learning!), so I thought I might write a cheeky something instead of doing my coursework.
I really hope you enjoy this little story,  I’m excited to share it with you! I don’t plan on making it a full series, but I might follow it up with some random pieces if inspiration strikes and it feels right.
Thanks for reading, and I’d love to hear your thoughts! I would to improve if possible 🙏

You double check your makeup in your compact, hoping this anniversary dinner would go smoothly. It was at a new Italian restaurant that had been booked for weeks—something your girlfriend had insisted on, especially for your two-year anniversary. She’d been working back-to-back shifts lately as an independent makeup artist, something she was incredibly passionate about, and you understood that it sometimes meant long hours. But you loved her for it, and it was that drive that had made you fall for her when a mutual friend set you up.
You thanked the cab driver, paid, and stepped out, carefully making sure your new outfit didn’t get caught in the car door. Checking your phone for the reservation details your girlfriend left you, you walked into the restaurant.
“Hello, welcome to Jin’s. Do you have a reservation?” the hostess asked with a smile.
“Yeah, it should be under So-yoon?,” you replied.
“Of course! Your date is already at the table. Follow me.”
Your girlfriend was already here? You’d expected her to be late, but maybe they’d let her go early for the special occasion. A smile tugged at your lips as you followed the hostess through the restaurant, noting how cozy yet elegant the atmosphere was. You could see this becoming one of your favorite spots—assuming the food lived up to the hype.
“This way,” the hostess said as she led you to the table. “The menus are on the table, and there’s some water. I’ll be back in a moment to take your drink order when you’re ready.”
But as you approached the table, you froze. A man was sitting there, not your girlfriend. He looked confused, staring at the empty chair across from him.
“Excuse me?” you said, raising your hand to stop the hostess from walking away. “I’m supposed to be meeting my girlfriend here... for our anniversary.”
The man glanced up at you, his expression equally puzzled.
“I think there’s been some kind of mix-up,” you continued, trying to get the hostess’ attention. But she had already walked off, greeting the next group of diners.
The man smiled awkwardly, seeming to realise what had happened. “I think I’m in the same boat. My girlfriend’s supposed to be here too… for our two-year anniversary.”
Your confusion deepened. Two two anniversaries? How could that even happen? Had you accidentally made a deal with some sort of sorcerer supreme and messed with the multi-verse?
You glanced at the man more closely. He was handsome, with soft, doe-like eyes that seemed kind. And the sunflowers on the table—definitely something your girlfriend would love.
“I’m sorry, this is... weird,” you said with a half-laugh. You introduced yourself with a smile.
The man smiled back warmly, extending a hand. “I’m Jungkook. Nice to meet you. It’s funny, both of us here for an anniversary dinner, but... not with who we expected, huh?”
You shook his hand and let out a soft chuckle, nodding in agreement.“Well, this is... awkward. But it’s nice to meet you too.”
You both stood there for a moment in a shared silence, neither sure how to break the ice. The tension in the air was thick with confusion. Finally, Jungkook spoke again, trying to smooth things over.
“You can sit down if you want. I mean, I don’t mind. While we wait for the Hostess?” He smiled, a little sheepish. “At least we can save ourselves from standing awkwardly.”
You laughed, grateful for his attempt to ease the situation. “I guess that’s one way to look at it.” You pulled out the chair and sat down. “So… our girlfriends are both late, huh?”
Jungkook chuckled, nodding. “Yeah. It’s a bit of a weird coincidence.” He paused for a beat, looking thoughtful. "I’m guessing you and your girlfriend are the same, huh? The kind of couple who goes all out for anniversaries?"
You smiled, feeling a little more at ease as you shared a common connection over the significance of the day. "We try to. Two years... it feels like a milestone, you know?"
“Definitely,” Jungkook agreed, his smile widening. “For me, anyway, it’s all about making sure I do something special. She works so hard, and I just want to show her how much I appreciate everything she does."
You nodded, understanding where he was coming from. You and So-yoon were in a similar position—she worked long hours and was passionate about her work as a makeup artist. Sometimes it felt like your lives were on different schedules, but moments like these made it all worth it.
“I get that,” you said quietly. “My girlfriend’s a makeup artist, actually. Always juggling back-to-back shifts. It’s a lot, but I think that’s part of what makes her so amazing.”
Jungkook’s eyes softened at the mention of your girlfriend’s career, as if he understood exactly what you meant. "Sounds like you two really get each other. That’s rare, especially with how busy life gets."
“Yeah,” you agreed, smiling wistfully. "We’re still figuring things out, but I think we’re doing okay." You looked over at him, feeling like maybe this dinner wasn’t going to be as awkward as you’d first imagined. "So, do you think our girlfriends are in on some secret where they get to be fashionably late to dinners?"
Jungkook laughed, shaking his head. "I hope so, because my girl’s always running behind, but in the end, it’s worth it." His voice softened a little, fondness evident in the way he spoke. "She's a makeup artist too actually? What are the chances..." He trailed off as the door to the restaurant opened with a soft chime, and you both turned instinctively. There was no mistaking the sense of anticipation in the air as a figure walked in.
Your heart skipped a beat. It was her.
Your girlfriend, looking as stunning as ever, wearing her signature bold red lipstick and a radiant smile. Her eyes scanned the room, and then they landed on you. Her face lit up with recognition, and she rushed toward the table.
"Sorry, I’m late!" she said breathlessly, her eyes apologetic but full of warmth. "Work ran over, but... Happy anniversary, love."
You stood up, stunned for a moment, and she leaned in to give you a quick kiss. You felt your heart warm and for a split second, you let yourself believe that everything was fine. Maybe tonight would be the night things fell into place—finally, you'd get the correct table, enjoy a delicious meal, and forget about the chaos of your hectic lives for just a little while.
Jungkook’s eyes widened, confusion flickering across his face. His gaze darted between you and her, trying to piece it together. But it wasn't until the kiss ended, and you smiled at her, that the truth began to settle in.
Your girlfriend smiled at you, clearly oblivious to the awkwardness in the air. It wasn’t until she turned toward Jungkook, her face lighting up with a smile that seemed just a little too bright, that the knot in your chest tightened.
Her eyes flickered between the two of you, and that’s when it hit you—the sudden shift in her expression, the way she froze, just for a moment, as if caught in something she hadn’t planned for.
"Wait..." he whispered, his face paling as realisation swept over him in an instant. "No way. You... you’re the one she’s been talking about?"
“Jungkook?” So-yoon said, her voice faltering, looking between him and you. “Oh my god… what’s going on here?”
Her face drained of colour at the same moment, and he could see it in her eyes before she could even speak—the guilt, the fear, and the horrifying truth that both of them were now fully aware of what had been going on behind their backs.
Jungkook took a step back, his disbelief morphing into a mix of anger and betrayal. "I can’t believe this... You’ve been playing us both this whole time?"
His words hung in the air like a bomb waiting to explode.
Your girlfriend stood there, now looking like a deer caught in the headlights. She opened and closed her mouth, like she was trying to piece together some fragile explanation, but all that came out was a nervous laugh that only amplified the awkwardness."This... this is not what it looks like." she was clearly trying to break the tension but failing miserably. "I mean... it’s exactly what it looks like, but it’s not what I planned!"
Jungkook stared at her, his confusion replaced by a mixture of frustration and surprise. "I—I don’t even know what to say right now. The whole two years?"
Your girlfriend winced, the weight of the moment clearly hitting her. "Yes, i'm so sorry" she said softly, her eyes flickering nervously between you and Jungkook. "I didn’t mean for it to happen like this. I didn’t want to hurt either of you."
You couldn’t believe it. Your hands were shaking, and your chest felt tight as you processed what she was saying. Two years. For two years, she had been with both of you, keeping you and Jungkook completely unaware of the other’s existence.
"I... I don’t know what to say." You finally managed, the words coming out in a breathless rush. “How could you—?”
Jungkook was the first to speak again, his voice a little more even but still laced with shock. "So you... you’ve been seeing both of us? For two years? This whole time?"
She nodded, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. “I didn’t mean for it to go this far, but—”
"You’re both... both lovely people," she said, her voice trembling as she looked between you and Jungkook. “I didn’t know how to tell either of you. I didn’t want to lose either of you."
There was a long pause as the three of you sat in stunned silence. The weight of the situation hung heavy in the air. Your mind was racing, still trying to make sense of what had just been revealed. Jungkook and you, both sitting at the same table, both having been in the same relationship with the same woman.
Finally, Jungkook cleared his throat, his voice a little tight. “Well, this is... well, this is a mess.”
You didn’t know what to say. Your mind was racing, and your stomach churned with disbelief. You looked at Jungkook, and then at your girlfriend, the woman you thought you knew—who had somehow been living two separate lives with both of you.
And in that moment, everything felt too heavy. Too much.
Jungkook broke the silence again, his tone no longer laced with shock, but with something that felt a little more freeing, almost… resigned.
“You know what?” he said, standing up and grabbing his jacket. “I’m done. This—this is insane.” He looked over at you. “What about you? I don’t know about you, but I’m not sticking around for this.”
You blinked, feeling the same surge of frustration and disappointment rise in your chest. The last thing you wanted to do was sit here, trying to salvage some ridiculous, broken version of an anniversary dinner that had just shattered in front of you.
“No,” you said quietly, shaking your head. “I’m not staying either.”
You both looked at your girlfriend ex-girlfriend, but there was no apology, no plea for understanding. Just a sad look, as if she had already resigned herself to the fact that this was happening.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered, but you could tell she wasn’t really talking to either of you anymore. She was just trying to make sense of what had happened, and it felt too late.
Without another word, both you and Jungkook pushed your chairs back, standing up at the same time. You didn’t feel the need to say anything else. What was there to say, really? You couldn’t fix this in a restaurant full of strangers, with awkward glances and sunflowers sitting on the table that no longer held any meaning.
Then, without another word, he turned towards you, offering his arm, the gesture somehow both comforting and distant.
You hesitated for just a second, still processing what had just unfolded—her betrayal, the way everything had shattered in an instant. But when you looked at Jungkook, you saw the same confusion and hurt mirrored in his eyes. Without saying anything, you took his arm, the weight of the unspoken understanding settling between you.
You both walked toward the door in silence, your footsteps echoing in the quiet space. Once outside, the cold night air hit you, but it was oddly refreshing.
“So, uh,” Jungkook said, turning to you with a half-smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. “I don’t know about you, but I’m starving. I was really looking forward to this anniversary dinner, but I’m not about to stay here and pretend any of this is okay.”
You couldn’t help but let out a breathy laugh, the absurdity of it all finally sinking in. “Yeah, same. All I wanted was some pasta and a nice glass of wine, but now… I just want to eat something that doesn’t come with this much baggage.”
Jungkook nodded, grinning a little more now. “Exactly. So what do you say we get out of here and grab some fast food? I’m thinking of greasy fries and a burger.”
You looked at him, and despite everything that had just happened, a little spark of humor broke through. “I think I could go for that.’
Without a second thought, you both headed toward the nearest fast food joint. It wasn’t the romantic dinner you’d expected, but there was something comforting in the simplicity of it. It was just two people, sharing a moment of confusion and frustration, but also a moment of camaraderie—a shared understanding that some things just weren’t worth trying to fix.
Tumblr media
As you walked into the fast food place, you felt the last remnants of the tension begin to slip away. The greasy smell of fries and burgers filled the air, and it was a relief to realise that, for once, there was no pressure to make anything out of the evening.
Jungkook nudged you, grinning. “So, we both got played by the same girl... But hey, at least we can laugh about it, right?”
You chuckled, shaking your head. “I guess so. At least we’re not the ones stuck eating dinner by ourselves”
"You know, I met her at a coffee shop. I don’t usually get days off, and when I do, I don’t really go out much," Jungkook said, his chuckle light. "Honestly, I would've been better off staying home with my dog."
You couldn’t help but laugh. "Don’t worry, I’ve got a mutual friend to curse at now. Two years wasted." You sighed, feeling the weight of it all. "And honestly, we wouldn’t have even found out if she hadn’t double-booked us."
Jungkook nodded, shaking his head in disbelief. "She really should’ve just used a Google Calendar or something," he joked. "Could’ve saved us all a lot of trouble."
You both burst out laughing, the absurdity of it all hitting you both at the same time.
The whole situation felt like something out of a twisted comedy movie. The kind where everything that could possibly go wrong, does, but in the end, it somehow brings people together in the most unexpected ways.
As you both sat at the fast food table, greasy fries in hand and the remnants of laughter still hanging in the air, you couldn't help but marvel at how absurd everything had turned out. The woman you had thought you were sharing a meaningful anniversary with—who you’d trusted and loved for two years—had turned out to be living a double life, and somehow, that was the least shocking part of the night.
He wiped his eyes from laughing and took a deep breath. "Honestly, though, I think we’re both better off without her. I mean, who even does something like that? Two-timing, on an anniversary no less..."
You nodded, shoveling some fries into your mouth. "Yeah. I keep thinking about how messed up it all is, but it doesn’t change anything now, does it? The worst part was probably her thinking she could get away with it... and somehow pulling it off for two years. That takes some serious nerve."
Jungkook's face turned slightly serious, a rare shift in his usual laid-back demeanor. "I know what you mean. I guess it’s hard not to feel stupid. I trusted her, you know? I thought I knew her. But that’s the thing with people like her, I guess... they’re good at hiding things. I don’t know if that makes me feel better or worse."
You glanced at him, empathy flooding through you. It wasn’t just the betrayal that hurt—it was the sense of disbelief, the questioning of how you could have missed the signs. But you weren’t alone in that feeling, not anymore.
"It makes sense," you said quietly. "I get it. You never expect the people closest to you to be... well, anything other than who they say they are. I think we both got caught in her version of things." You paused, letting the weight of it sink in. "But you know what? It’s not our fault. People like her? They know how to manipulate. And that’s on her, not us."
Jungkook looked at you for a moment, his expression softening. "Thanks. That means a lot, actually." He paused, his eyes flickering as if he was still processing everything. "I think part of me was blaming myself for not noticing... But I guess she did a pretty good job of keeping it all under wraps."
You shrugged, trying to make it sound casual, but inside, a small knot of relief twisted. "We wouldn’t have figured it out if she hadn’t double-booked us, right? I mean, that's a level of incompetence even I can’t wrap my head around." You let out a short laugh, shaking your head. "I thought it was going to be a nice, quiet night—no drama, no surprises. Instead, I get to have dinner with you, so... thanks for that, I guess."
Jungkook laughed too, the tension in his shoulders easing as he leaned back in his chair. "Hey, at least we got a good story out of it. You’ll always remember this anniversary now. ‘The one where we both got cheated on by the same girl.’"
You both burst out laughing again, the kind of deep, genuine laugh that comes only after something bizarre and painful has passed, leaving you a little wiser but somehow lighter.
"So," Jungkook said after a moment, looking more at ease than he had all night, "what do you do for a living, if you don’t mind me asking? I mean, now that we're both just two random strangers who got screwed over by the same girl, might as well talk about something else."
You grinned. "I’m a freelance writer. Mostly work from home, so my schedule’s flexible. Which, I guess, means I’ve got more time to think about how much of my life I’ve wasted on... well, this." You gave a dramatic wave of your hand. "But hey, it pays the bills, and I get to work in my pyjamas. Can’t complain too much."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Writer, huh? That sounds cool. Must be nice to have a job where you can just... work from anywhere."
You nodded. "It’s not as glamorous as people think. Sometimes it’s more about staring at a blank page for hours than actually writing anything worth reading." You smiled a little. "But it’s a good life, you know? Not too many rules. Just deadlines and coffee."
He grinned back. "Sounds pretty sweet, actually. Way better than producing music and dealing with a bunch of drama. But hey, at least I get to work with some cool people, right? I mean, I do a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff, but the long hours? Definitely not worth it on nights like this."
You raised an eyebrow playfully. "Wait, you’re a producer? Do you like work with super famous artists?"
Jungkook smirked, clearly enjoying the surprise in your voice. "Yeah, all the time." He rolled his eyes, "I don’t usually get a lot of days off, though, so I’m kind of stuck in the grind most of the time." He paused, then grinned again. "But tonight? I’m pretty sure I’m done with all the work drama. You and me? We’ve got a much better story now."
You chuckled. "Definitely a story worth telling. And hey, no more weird anniversaries for us, right?"
Jungkook laughed too, his shoulders relaxing for the first time that night. "Yeah. I think from now on, I’ll just stick with my dog instead of dating."
You shook your head. "At least your dog’s loyal."
"Exactly," Jungkook said with a wink. "No double-booking, no hidden agendas. Just treats and belly rubs."
You laughed. "You know what? That sounds perfect. I’ll take a dog over whatever this was any day."
"Agreed," Jungkook said, raising his drink in a mock toast. "To no more double-booked anniversaries. And to dogs."
You clinked your cup against his. "To dogs," you echoed, feeling lighter than you had all night.
The evening hadn’t gone as expected. But as you sat there with Jungkook, sharing a greasy meal, laughing about the most ridiculous night you could’ve imagined, it felt like, for the first time in a while, you might actually be okay.

just saw an anti post about adults making x readers for harry potter characters and like. oh my fucking god. do you have no joy? is your head just three beans of disgust rattling about and occasionally smacking together to override logic?
harry potter is a) really not the best fandom to try and bring ‘problematic’ into. ignoring the pinnacle of bigotry that is jkr and the mess of navigating in such a way we avoid giving her money, problematic ships have been around this fandom for longer than we both have been alive (directed at anti). what right do you have to complain about the adults who have probably been making x reader since they were younger than the characters? we would have no fandom if it weren’t for them!
and b) they aren’t real children???? draco isn’t going to need a therapist to get over the women thirsting for his fictional backside he isn’t tangible. and as a character he can’t age even though many of the people that grew up with him did. x readers are the basis of this fandom and they always have been, the whole point of fandom is joy and cringe and a lot of the time that means putting yourself or an insert in the fantasy to experience the world you love. don’t let your disgust tamper someone else’s harmless joy ffs.
x reader makes me uncomfortable for personal reasons but you don’t see me making posts about how it’s weird and bad and nyeh nyeh nyeh for people to be shipping themselves with fictional characters, because it’s none of my fucking business and not anywhere near an actual concern. it’s just some strangers having fun in a way i don’t find fun in their own space, so i stay out of it and stick to mine and do things i do enjoy like making fanart. block the tags like a normal person and stick to being very liberal with the block button, leave the rest of the fandom alone.

It really says something that the Helluva Boss fandom is willing to excuse every evil action Stella does and every evil thing she says, especially her abuse towards Stolas and begging for her to have sympathetic traits, yet not once have I ever seen an HB fan desperately wishing for Crimson or Mammon to be portrayed more sympathetically than they are in the show and call it bad writing when they don't show any redeeming qualities. The fandom just accepts the fact that those guys are pure evil without batting an eye. Nobody asks why they're the way they are. But Stella? Nope, there MUST be a sympathetic reason for her being an abusive bitch to Stolas because it's apparently "unrealistic" for a woman to abuse her husband out of spite never mind the fact that those kinds of women actually exist in real life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These images pretty much speak for themselves.
Crimson, Striker, Mammon, Andrealphus and Valentino are no less two-dimensionally evil than Stella is. What reason did Crimson have to murder his own wife and make his son experience it? Just to traumatize him? The show never really says why he does it, he just does it so the audience can have a reason to hate him. What reason does Striker have to help Stella try to kill Stolas? None, as far as we know. What is there to Mammon's character other than abusing Fizzarolli and being a greedy asshole in general? Why does Andrealphus flirt with his own sister and participate in her scheme to have Stolas murdered by Striker? Because reasons. Why is Valentino a rapist who takes advantage of Angel Dust and sexually abuses him? Just because he can. What makes Stella any different from these guys other than being female?
Fans are just asking for her to be more sympathetic because she's a woman and they can't accept the fact that women are capable of abuse without trying to justify it. The whole "behind every bad bitch is a man who made her that way" bullshit. People who see a woman beating her husband in public and automatically assume he did something to deserve it even if they have no evidence or context for what actually happened. Even though Stella has been treating Stolas like shit before he cheated on her, and he likely wouldn't be sleeping with Blitzø if she wasn't so horrible to him in the first place. He never even puts his hands on her and allowed her to abuse him so that Octavia could live and grow up with normal parents. (As normal as Stella and Stolas could possibly get with each other, anyway.)
Stella made fun of Stolas for not participating in sex with her and laughed about it while he was standing 2 feet away from her, and knew he was there. Whether or not she raped him to produce Octavia is a discussion for another day. If anything, Stolas cheating on her was revenge for treating him like garbage for so many years. She humiliated and embarassed him in public before getting a taste of her own medicine when Stolas does the same to her in return. She wouldn't even let him divorce her because she enjoys being mean to him. I wouldn't mind if Stella was given more charaterization outside of "abusive wife" but honestly? I don't really care if she's given sympathy or not. I don't want to sympathize with her. If Valentino isn't gonna change his ways any time soon, I have no reason to believe that Stella can. FFS Stella apologists make me mad. Even if you type in the "anti stella" tag on tumblr there are more posts defending and excusing her actions than those actually opposing her and saying "uh, no, she's just a cruel bitch" meanwhile if you type "anti Stolas" that's exactly what you're gonna get, pretty much exclusively.
Goes to show how hyper-sensitive tumblrinas are over female characters rightfully being portrayed as in the wrong when they fucking are.

I stopped watching the walking dead at the end of season 8 and only know what happens after that from seeing other people post about it when it was airing and there was so much negativity so it’s really interesting to see you watching it now and seeming to have mostly positive thoughts. Do you think watching it after the fact helped or am I totally misreading your feelings?
this is a very funny ask to receive because i feel like all i've done is complain about how bad the show became starting around 7x01 but apparently all of my complaining has been confined to other spaces haha. i do, however, think that not having to wait and watch week-to-week helped me get through it and enjoy it more than i would've if i'd still been watching it live, but even the ability to binge it can't fix what i think are the show's three fatal flaws:
1. negan—i know this is an unpopular opinion but negan is one of the worst things to happen to the show. he takes up so much space and energy and yet the show never fully commits to actually doing anything with him. in s7 they literally bashed us over the head with his villainy and it was boring. his monologues were supposed to be menacing; they were supposed to make us scared to find out what he was capable of, but all they really turned out to be were long and corny and so fucking frequent that you couldn't help but tune out. i didn't need to hear him monologue about being an asshole to know he was cruel. i got that perfectly fine from his actions and the actions of the people who worked for him.
and he was cruel, in a way no other villain on the show was, but the show so desperately wanted to keep jdm around that they shot themselves in the foot by trying to pull back on the cruelty. yeah sure negan will bash several people's brains out with a baseball bat just for fun in front of a child but he would never lay a finger on that child. no, no, he didn't threaten the kid. he was just bonding with him.
yeah sure negan will force women's hands so that they feel there's no other option than to marry him and therefore sleep with him but he'll kill a blatant rapist. don't you get it? he's evil and you should fear him (but forget all that because he's totally redeemable).
yeah sure he'll help burn hilltop to the ground but don't you see he's actually on your side. like?? it's not nuance or moral complexity or shades of gray. it's just bad writing so that jdm can stick around, despite there being zero reason for negan to still be around. negan is responsible for so much damage and loss of life (and loss of potential in the form of community building) that it is unconscionable to me that he can ever show his face among any of the survivors. he wasn't a compelling villain and he's somehow an even less compelling reluctant ally. let maggie kill him already. at least there'd be a little catharsis in that.
2. rapid world expansion—this is difficult because long-running shows need world expansion to keep from becoming stale and repetitive but you have to strike a balance between expanding the sandbox and straight up changing the sandbox. i think the show did a really good job of opening up the world in the first six seasons. everything up to and including alexandria felt real and grounded in the world that they had established. in atlanta (and the outskirts of) they were such a small group and operating within such a limited amount of space that it made sense whenever they came across new places and/or new people (the farm, the prison, woodbury, grady memorial, terminus, etc). and then making the pilgrimage up to dc and finding alexandria all made sense as well. they spent time establishing what alexandria was and how it came to be.
but that explanation relied heavily on the idea that alexandria was isolated (i mean, aaron had to go out and travel just to recruit people ffs). so when you then add in the kingdom, hilltop, the saviors, the scavengers, oceanside, etc. you're saying, "actually there is a giant interwoven network of communities all around that somehow just magically never crossed paths with alexandria, not even when they were dealing with the gigantic horde that should've threatened all of them." and it makes no sense. and then add to that the commonwealth, the whisperers, and whatever the fuck the crm is. it's just too much. and none of those places they added in are ever really established in any meaningful way, with any real connection to our protagonists.
the commonwealth is the worst example of this. it's a a community of fifty-thousand people, most of whom seem to be completely out of touch with the reality of the apocalypse, and it's never really explained how. how do they keep walkers out? how do they have plumbing? how do they have electricity? how is noise not an issue? where is the food coming from? the weapons and ammunition? what were they doing with the train cars at the beginning because it seems like actually they accept everyone? why were they so suspicious? none of it's ever explained past a few comments and vague allusions here and there. they just plucked us out of the zombie apocalypse and plopped us into a dystopian society and said, "have fun at your new playground!" and i'm sorry but i'm not having fun. this is not the playground i signed up for.
3. rapid cast expansion—this one goes hand in hand with the world expansion. the show needs to add in new characters to replace departing characters and to introduce new and fresh dynamics but it's important that those characters matter in relation to their connection to the found family the show's been establishing for 5+ seasons. in my opinion, the last time the show successfully added new characters to the group was when they introduced abraham, rosita, and eugene (*there's a notable exception of 1.5 characters to this but i'll get to that in a second).
it's not that i don't like any of the characters they add after that, it's that none of them feel like family. none of them ever feel fully integrated into the group or fully realized as character in their own right. they're just... there. i like ezekiel and enid and jerry and princess and connie etc but they just don't matter. they're just people who also exist. the thread that ties them to the group i care about is a shared living space and desire to survive, not anything they've actually been through together. and that's kind of stupid because they've been through a lot together (fighting the saviors, building their communities, the whisperers, the stuff at the commonwealth, etc). it just doesn't feel like it because they're all so spread out geographically (due to the rapid world expansion) and because their connections aren't really to the family, but to the communities at large. and that doesn't work on a character-driven show.
*the exceptions to this are, in my opinion, dwight and maybe jesus. dwight is the only later seasons character that the show puts any effort into actually making me root for. some of that's because he starts out as an antagonist and therefore has to redeem himself but a lot of it is because he does actually redeem himself. i understand why he did everything horrible he did in the first place and i sympathize with it, but then i also watched him put his own life on the line over and over and over again simply because it was the right thing to do. dwight was held more accountable for his actions than any other single character in the history of the entire freaking show and despite proving himself, they still send him away just so they don't have to look at his face. and i know it was because he was going over to FTWD but damn does that suck because he's one of the only later seasons characters that actually feels fully developed.
i have some thoughts about jesus as a character and why he feels more fully integrated and realized than, say, gabriel or aaron but they're still very jumbled so i'm not going to get into it right now.
anyway, the point is that there are all these characters that the show is telling me matter and are important to my characters but they don't ever give me a reason to believe that beyond the fact that they just all happen to be on the same side.
so. yeah. i don't like the show anywhere near as much as it probably seems like i do and those three issues are the main reasons why. i have smaller gripes too (eugene never being held accountable for anything ever, rosita dying, michonne leaving her children, etc) but they're not structural issues, you know?
and despite having said all of this, i immediately started rewatching as soon as i got to the end because i do really love the found family of it all.

So let me get this straight, you hate trans people and believe them to be pervs and make a mockery out of LGBT people but ship something gay, obsess over 'weird kinks' you don't like worse than any anti I have ever seen in my life yet ship incest, and insult neurodivergent people. Yeah wow, I sure do wonder why everyone avoids you. Well at least checking this blog inspired me to make more trans Volo content, so thanks for that.
How is it you notice I'm being shunned if there's not a clique of you? Anyway........Yay! Another hate post where I get to vent about stuff in reply! You know what....I'll bet people shun me because this fandom is a lot smaller than I assumed. There might have been a whole ton of people jumping on the Submas Train when PLA first came out, but after a year and a half, most of the hardcore fans who stuck with it this long are all either antis or furries into stupid kinks. I'd be willing to bet a paycheck that most of the people into trainwreck also have blankship side-accounts, and that's why other content creators never gave my shiddy trainwreck drawings a 'like' out of pity. They're all mad I made jokes about gross, hairy werewolves with vaginas because there are srsly (secret blankshippers) people in this fandom into that. (I srsly found someone's fat furry spice hoard on Twitter. Tread with care! X-D & D-: Oh, and look! LOOK!!! 'PROSHIPPERS DNI' on their profile! The best antis are into that kind of shit, but don't you ship something that is morally wrong in the context of irl, yo!)
AGAIN, WHAT PERCENTAGE OF ANTI-SHIPPERS ARE VILE TWO-DICK COCKVORE FURRY FETISHESTS, AND WHY AM I CONSIDERED A HYPOCRIT BUT NOT THEM!?
How about this trainwreckshipping head canon? Volo gets to wake up every morning to wet chili farts in bed because Emmet is a huge, gross fat fucking dog-furry with a vagina who is extra hairy because that's the aesthetic the social justice warriors are trying to push as the new norm. I'm not an anti for hating that shit. It's gross, and I loathe it when people take a beautiful or aesthetically pleasing character and make them ugly and gross. Antis have moral objections to certain content, especially incest and pedophilia, which people frown upon irl. Maybe I should think it's morally wrong to take something beautiful and turn it into something that makes me want to throw up in my mouth a bit. Hey! Let's make a new norm where everybody is gorilla hairy with huge floppy ranga tiddies, and they have a womb routed in their asses, and they smell weird and are self-induced chemically insane!
Trans Volo content, you say? That's another thing. There's a big wide world of people who allow themselves to enjoy content without having to inject the trendy posturing into it. They're probably the majority but are afraid to speak out because, like trans and leftists are likely to do overall, a small vocal majority hijack fandom spaces and act as everybody agrees with them. If I want to ship female Volo, there's a perfectly good Cynthia. I hate that 'Volo is Cynthia' head canon, especially coming from that person who does the interracial ship where Volo always looks like a drug-addict piece of trash. Why do Volo dirty like that? He's a clean, fresh-faced pretty guy, and that's why the protag was supposed to be so surprised when he betrayed them at the end. He's fun! He smiles at you constantly! He doesn't mope around with pouty lips. Make a skeevy dirtbag oc if that's what you are into, and ffs, Cynthia is strong female representation. Men have to pose as fake women to take away from us in athletics irl; don't take away our bad-ass champion in fantasy too.
No transfemale can hope to look like Cynthia irl unless they put like $100K worth of work into it. Most of them look like Chris Farley playing the van down by the river guy, but with stringy long hair. Taking hormones a person has no business taking makes them enormously fat most of the time. -And btw, I don't hate trans people; I feel sorry for them because society is tricking people into fucking themselves up....because it's trendy, yo!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Last point: IDC if people shun me. It has no bearing on my ability to produce content, and I will continue to crank stuff out for as long as I stay with (x) hyper fixation, which could be for years.

AAAAA i did forget to say that i love my own tag!! i do love to be qpr anon 😭 and i enjoyed it sm to read your thoughts on the points i sent you, i can only give back a *strongly agree* for everything you said, it's like you took my brain and wrote your reply while using it 😂😂 did not expect my opinions to be received that well, i tried to go for admitting the hard stuff because that is usually more fun, so i hope it's okay if i bounce off more ideas based on your reply!! ♥
firstly...... HELL YES join the bucktalia train with me, the finale really made me love them a lot, and i hope we will see much more of them in s7! i have more thoughts on them specifically but i'll stick to the og numbering so it's easier to follow 😂 (this feels lowkey like school, i am so sorry LMAO)
1.) i totally get that the donor storyline squicked you! i was very worried about buck not being able to move on from the baby, with him buying that firefighter-like baby onesie and all... but WOW his maturity? that he helped them simply "because he could"? buck is just such a good person, i think we were shown again just how much he is willing to do to help others and how his help is unconditional as well 😭😭 it melted my whole heart. the callback to buck's wish to be loved by his parents unconditionally... how he called himself "defective" but called his own son "perfect"... just. wow. WOW. the fact alone that he helped during the birth of his own biological child, and he was so confident while doing so!! a masterpiece. i need fics with delivery nurse AU for buck ♥♥♥
2.) jjjjjjooooooooin the bucktalia train 😂😂 no jk no pressure ofc! but but but, i just really like natalia, and how they did things with the little time they had left this season! the couch stood for buck's agency and his peace with himself – he knows who he is, he knows he cannot force anyone to stay in his life if they do not fully accept him or fit his own values (abby, taylor), he knows that his partner must understand and accept his type of lifestyle and the risks related to it (ali), he knows that he won't be happy by living somebody else's version of a good life (i.e., having somebody else's couch instead of his own, which goes for abby, ali, and taylor). and just!!!! buck slowly learning that he is lovable the way he is and that he would rather be alone than settle for somebody who does not love all of him!!!!! it's so important to me. and i do not understand why everyone is saying he regressed! 😭😭 where?!? with every relationship and new experience, buck is learning a lil bit more about himself and his worth imo. it does not have to be linear, and sometimes it's babysteps instead of big jumps, but that's how development works. real humans do not just snap with their fingers and unlearn all their maladaptive behaviors and coping mechanisms either. give buck time ffs @ the fandom!!
2.1.) i am drinking the hot tea that you just served me, bestie. sip sip sip, you are so correct about everything re the buddie agenda and hivemind!! it's crazy to me because i genuinely feel like they almost gaslight themselves and everybody else with what they do?!?! even scenes that are unrelated to buddie are *used* for buddie purposes (e.g. the scene with chim and his dad, about biological fathers), and it's so damn frustrating to me because the facts get twisted and twisted and twisted 😭 like NO!! these scenes weren't even about buddie!!! or worse, they twist everything around to make canon love interests look like the devil when they are often more innocent than buck and eddie themselves (let's not act as if these two are unfailing gentlemen who always treat their women right, c'mon now). and then the fandom gets excited because they come up with some new elaborate theory again, and then they genuinely expect buddie to become canon every single episode. and are disappointed and angry when they aren't. buddie has much bigger problems than that when in 6 veeery long seasons, there was not a single hint dropped that buck or eddie are attracted to men even thought they had plenty of opportunity to do so fjsdfkdshk;; the fun time with headcanons and theories has ended like 3 seasons ago because of the buddie fandom taking over everything... just, ugh.
3.) i could not have said it better. not adding any comment, you spilled the truth.
4.) YES AAAAAA god i can't, i am full of emotions for bucktalia. and yes, she did help deliver the baby in the sense that she got utensils for buck to deliver it, and she also dabbed kameron's forehead with a wet towel etc!! 😭♥ especially the fact that natalia is a death doula has me sooo intrigued. people who work in such a field just have a completely different relation to death, and with grief, and with life (she called herself an "end-of-life doula", which i need everybody to know and think about – how she emphasized the life, not the death)!!! buck's job, his past death, his coma experience, daniel?!? he experienced death himself, he experienced those of others that he tried to save... i just think, in athena's words, maybe natalia is finally the "specific kind of crazy" that can fully accept what buck's lifestyle truly means. because natalia herself has been there to help those that are at the end of their lives – and so has buck. idk idk idk, their professions are different but also so alike! 😭😭
related to that, i LOVED that she wanted to talk to buck about his death experience! there, i said it, and i hate the fandom for twisting it into smth ugly. BUCK was the one joking about his own death, and natalia responded accordingly. it's literally her profession to deal with death, and to accompany people who will die soon on this last journey of their lives. humans have always been interested to know how death feels like, what comes after death... i find her passion 1000% understandable, and tbh? to think that maybe she was looking for an answer about all this, from somebody who was dead before but came back, so that she could be better at helping others?!?!?! i respect and love that idea. what do you think? ♥♥
5.) indeed!! "fandom illiteracy" is my new favorite word, it's so fitting, yes yes yes. and it's ALWAYS just when it's about buddie or a canon love interest that ""threatens"" buddie canonization (as if THAT is what threatens it lol. not the fact that we have yet to see either of them find men attractive?). also omg i originally called eddie an unreliable narrator in my ask but deleted that again bc i didn't wanna come off as too harsh 😂😂😂 and i must add, eddie did not even meet ana at a call! 😂 they met at christopher's school, and he had immediate chemistry with her, so much so that carla immediately side-eyed him for giving her hearteyes. what's that about *magic* and *chemistry* that eddie talked about again?? they reconnected thanks to a call, yes, but it was eddie's choice to ask for a date, and it was eddie who was burdened by past trauma that he had repressed for years, and it was eddie who was not ready for anything serious. ana said "it's your mess now" after he broke up with her in the most ineloquent way possible, after showing that ana was cleaning up his mess in the kitchen. i did not care much about eddieana overall but like... people put all the blame on ana, even for her calling eddie "edmundo", as if eddie is not an adult who can speak and advocate for himself. like, he is just A GUY. maybe the real issue was all his baggage that he hasn't dealt with yet, and not whether or not he met ana on a call. realistically, eddieana was doomed from the start no matter where they met because eddie was simply not ready for anything serious, emotionally and mentally. he would have also not been ready if it was buck, or marisol, or anyone else. that is OKAY. but i NEED the fandom to stop taking everything these characters say as gospel truth, as you fittingly called it. they are fictional, they are tools to tell a story, they are tools to create drama and evoke emotions! and for this, they often talk bullshit to learn a lesson later on. and well, we saw eddie dealing with his trauma finally, and moving forward at his own pace, and being happy to get a date with marisol!
6.) i agree with you on everything here YES. finale gave such great whump, i loved the action and the hurt and the dirty bloody looks and all!! hen wiping away buck's blood????????????? SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP. i also agree that a bit more time for the recovery part would have been nice. then again, they also did not give us much of that when buck's leg was crushed or eddie was shot. the show often skips parts that would be very satisfactory imo lol. but i love good whump and hurt/comfort so maybe that's just me LOL.
share your fic ideas (ONLY if you feel comfortable doing so) and also i am incredibly sorry this got so long. i will now go hide under a blanket and fangirl about bucktalia dfdfgksdlk;
<33!!
for the sake of not repeating myself because we've both said stuff like this in the other post I'm just gonna say a blanket statement for all these and say HARD AGREE <33
HOWEVER i do want to individually touch on natalia because OUGH. I FORGOT SHE REFERRED TO HERSELF LIKE THAT. OUHG <33 I love that so fucking much.
also YEAH. justice for ana and taylor and ali and abby and natalia and every other character who was in proximity with buddie and suffered more than jesus for it
AND FOR FIC IDEAS i really. don't have a LOT of fully formed thoughts but idk. jee and maddie visiting chim in the hospital. buck (no broken ribs) driving eddie home and maybe staying over for a few days to help him out while he healed. athena + bobby being tender. hen + karen being tender. maybe all the hospitalized 118 get together in a single hospital room and plan a breakout. who can say <3 (this is only fic ideas to fit into the episode. however i have. uh. 50+ wips and aus for other things in this fandom. i have what you might call A Problem)
AND I'D LIKE TO ADD A LITTLE DISCLAIMER HERE. BECAUSE I'VE BEEN A HATER FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS BUT I NEED TO SET SOMETHING STRAIGHT. i LOVE buddie. i do. i love their tenderness, and their intimacy, and their friendship, and i love what they have, and i love what they could have. i love slowburns, and i love friends to lovers, and i love coparenting, and i genuinely love looking at them through a romantic lens because it sparks joy !! and i also love looking at them through a qpr lens because it sparks joy !! they spark joy in any capacity !!! my gripes with buddie are at the FANDOM LEVEL, not w the sillies onscreen. its because other characters and relationships are shoved out of the way, or twisted, or put down to prop buddie up, and its because its SO HARD to find meta, fic, or anything else in this fandom that focuses solely on any of the other incredible characters, pairings, or themes in this show because everything's always about You Know Who and You Know Who Else. I know I've been kinda spiteful toward them lately but I just wanna say that it's stemming from frustration of watching characters constantly be demonized/ignored/shoved aside so that Buddie Can Work(tm) as opposed to me actually hating the pairing. ty goodnight <3

hii,, pls dont let the hatenons get thru u and make urself doubt abt how u write. no one has the right to make someone feel sht for doing something that they want to the things that they do,, like how u write the characters in a story. and ffs if they think ur making someone ooc? then they havent seen any prompts in their entire life. no matter how goody or hell of a villain the character, therell always be prompts that makes the character(s) ooc. and like what? say all of the authors stay IN character, wouldn't that just be bland asf?? this place is a plothole for fanfictions, FANFICTIONS. so why not get wild with ur imagination?? go ham because u have the will and right to just do that. isnt it cool to see other self depiction and perspective of any characters that u fancy??? like, "oh no! what if santa was all seriousness and no laugh and blah blah blah" wouldn't that be fun to see and be explored and talked or whatever. and before that hatenon use this in retaliation, "that's santa not blah blah blah" god i hope that u have the brain to be able to analyze that its an example. dont they have any creative idea??? (i mean u can practically see the answer to that). and please, ure right when no one writes RE without going out of character, have they seen the domestic written fics FOR WESKER???? tell me anon, do u THINK that WESKER would be any like that??? or like that?? the closest thing he'll ever be to "domestic" is when involving with a woman in the sheets but then again, purely and only for his own benefits and nothing more (you'd be lucky if he doesnt kill u after all that). hes the most ooc out there in RE imo when written in fanfics bc people dont stay and write him in character bc people already see and know that and thats why and what makes him ooc here. hes literally the biggest example youll see,, my god. im not saying no one had written fics without going out of character, but they make it sound as if u did the most horrible thing by going ooc. and its literally easier to just not bother themself interacting with ur works if it doesnt sit right with them,, that easy. no need to be an ahole and spread sht just bc it doesnt cater u. go write one for urself then bc not all authors write only for us people out there, they also write here for themselves so naturally, youd see and read things out of ur taste. and tbh the og charm and personality of the characters arent lost and not that ooc to me yknow.... they're still them and just like what u said, not everything's to a T when it comes to writing someone,,,. i mean i just enjoy everything yall write bc thats how it should be done here. enjoy and reciprocate to the author
oooookkkay,, this is my piece of mind, and i need to calm down cuz holy sht i just literally woke up and seen this, u having hate anons again. i did not open this app just to see u be drag down. idk man, i feel protective of anyone who encounter this. bc why make someone as miserable as u?? im just tired seeing people being dckhead to someone minding their own business and life,, plus i rlly like u and ur works ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`)
sorry im anon too SHAKDISH but maybe i can be pancake anon eh? (im craving one rn 😋) fufufu, please have a good day and week and dont mind these kind of people. believe in u and ur capabilities as a writer and author here. we really appreciate you :))
hi pancake anon i love you and you stole the words right from my mouth.
Chris and leon have so much trauma i doubt they even have time to think about women it’s FAN FICTION. for a reason.
people get pissy at me for writing about the older men i head canon and i DONT GET IT
love u sm pancake anon thank you

Okay, let's try and break this down.
Sexual fantasies are, by their very nature, transgressive. Yes, even the fluffy, romantic ones. As long as general culture remains negative about sex and sexuality in any form that isn't cishet procreative sex within the confines of matrimony with the woman not as an equal actor but an object sex is performed onto, this is going to remain true.
And the thing about fantasies is that our brains like to take the things we crave the most and mix them up with our fears, anxieties, pain, and trauma into a melange of, sometimes, truly epic levels of fuckery.
But here's the secret - things we fantasize about, from the most wholesome to the bizarre to seriously fucked up? They are very, very often NOT what we literally want.
Being into dubcon or noncon doesn't mean you actually want to be raped or rape. Being into monsters doesn't make you a zoophile. And fantasizing about violent, obsessive men doesn't mean you wouldn't run as far the fuck away from a man like that the second one of them set their sights on you.
If you're really interested in the subject, I recommend reading My Secret Garden by Nancy Friday, a compilation of anonymously submitted women's sexual fantasies. And, as it turns out, women fantasize about a lot of really violent, uncomfortable, and just plain screwed up stuff.
And, for most of them, even when they don't actively realize it, it's about reclamation. Of fear, of trauma, of loss of power. It's about THEMSELVES and how THEY feel. As weird as it's gonna sound, the men featured in those fantasies don't really matter, they're just a vessel, a manifestation of the extreme version of what you're dealing with and/or crave. A safe, cathartic way to experience something profoundly unsafe, unwise, and terrifying.
For women fantasizing about criminals, villains, monsters, and anti-heroes, it's very often about the idea that someone like that - intense, violent, with single-minded focus, and immense power - would love her, want her, always put her first, go against all his instincts/training for you without a second thought and be a clear and present danger to everyone but warmth and safety for her and only her, and burn the world itself down for hurting her in even the slightest of ways. It's a sexual version of the fantasy of having a pet tiger, one that would never, ever attack you or hurt you in any way.
And just like the people who want to boop the forbidden snoot, the women fantasizing about their fantasy Mafia Boss Lover are very well aware of the fact that 1) men like that don't actually exist, 2) the criminal world of their fantasy has all but nothing to do with reality, and 3) that the thing they're actually fantasizing about is being loved, wanted, and safe... just in a REALLY intense, exaggerated way. And, let's not mince words, there's also often a more or less strong D/s dynamics at play in the scenario, too.
Now, you can choose to be judgy bitches about it (goodness knows plenty of you in the replies, comments, and tags are), in which case I would suggest you examine why you're feeling such a profound need to shame women for enjoying themselves in their own little world, or you can apply the YKINMKATO mantra and understand that straight women, living in the constant state of preyhood, sometimes consciously or subconsciously reclaim power over that situation through transgressive sexual fantasies.
Also, fuck this idea that queer people only fantasize about healthy and wholesome relationships, romantic, sexual, or otherwise, as if at least half of Tumblr isn't simping for, oh, for example, Hannibal fucking Lecter. Do you have ANY idea how many Mafia and Thug BL content there is out there?! FFS, Tom of Finland, a WWII veteran who fought against Nazis, drew art of exaggeratedly masculine men in Nazi uniforms in pornographic situations as a way to dissociate himself from those traumas and fascists themselves as far back as the 1950s!
So yeah. Less judgement, and more taking some responsibility for curating your online experience if seeing someone's kink truly offends you this much.
my instagram explore page loves showing me those like erotic dark romance novel tiktoks and i really have to wonder: why do all these straight women desperately want to fuck a mafia boss

Likely XIV women for the next poll
Y’shtola: is the poster girl of xiv in FF promo material because the PC is customizable. I wouldn’t call her flat, but she hasn’t had any major revelations since at least the start of XIV. Is… somewhat divisive. Many enjoy her m, her one-liners when people want a dommy mommy, and others think she needs a major character arc and not just focus arcs. Has canonically been propositioned once. She turned him down epically. She also says she’s been propositioned clumsily many times. Also they keep making her lighter because of "lighting issues."
Ysayle: Deserves better. You know the Church sucks cuz they won’t let you fuck dragons meme? That is literally her. An Elezen from the Holy See area who is called a heretic cuz she sides with dragons. Desire to fuck dragons optional for that title. Propositioned a dragon, got turned down and never recovered, which is a shame cuz she and his daughter could have been a cute pair if SE weren’t cowards. Sacrificed herself. Deserves better.
Sadu: You can’t convince me she doesn’t fuck. Is a side character who is well loved for being a hammy gadfly. From a cool tribe of Mongolians with a fun view of reincarnation.
Alisaie: She is 16. Do not use. I am putting her here so people don’t ask if I forgot her. (This also applies to Ryne and Gaia)
Moenbryda: Probably took Urianger’s virginity. Was his childhood friend and an interesting scholar who got shafted because the next patch they needed someone to die and were too chickenshit to sacrifice Minfilia instead.
Minfilia: the leader of the Not-so-secret secret group people are part of for the base game. Does a lot of delegating. I’d call her a mixed bag in the fandom. I know people who love her and people who hate her. Can’t get a read on fuckable scales.
Nidhana: is a giant elephant woman who is an Alchemist in Fantasy south India. Probably fucks. I love her. She is very smart and compassionate.
Lyse: is a very divisive character. More disliked than liked I guess. But I feel it’s more from writing than potential. Unknown sexual history, but I'm leaning towards not a lot, if any. Would probably have a fair amount vote *against* her no matter who her opponent is.
Yotsuyu: I'm not gonna do the funny fucking joke. She was sold into prostitution at a young age, and that colored who she became. She clung to someone who gave her power to get revenge against those that wronged her, and was a very cruel woman who also gets dommy mommy jokes thrown her way that make me uncomfortable. Is very popular for a character of her importance, though I think several could beat her.
Fordola: Very angry at the world. Was part of a colonized people who lost her dad because the others of her people hated that he was a collaborator, and the nearby colonizers did nothing. Joined the army, got experimented on. I like her, but she's not as popular as Yotsuyu.
Merlwyb: The only one of the three original lady City Leaders I'm fully comfortable sharing. Is a pirate, very tall, with a growling voice. Killed her dad. Probably gets all the love she wants because she can step on me.
Venat: I like her. But she has a HUGE hatedom. I'm not sure if she fucked or not, it can go either way cuz she's this bright-eyed woman who's a retired hero, so she either could be laying mad pussy or find all the people throwing themselves at her distracting. Becomes god and splits the planet into 14 parallel universes.
Yugiri: Honestly, I always forget she exists. She's just kinda... there. Is a Ninja. In love with Hien, who I don't think notices her at all.
Lalafells: I feel really ambivalent towards them. They're roughly toddler sized and shaped, though many adult males do have facial hair. And many are known to fuck. Of the ones who would get nominated, Tataru famously is sought after in-game. But I'm leaving this at that, and generally would advise against using them.

Truth or Dare by GleefullyCaptainSwan
Chapter 1 of 1

Summary: When David Nolan sends Emma Swan and Killian Jones on a simple overnight business trip to Denver, the two just want to take care of negotiations and return home. But the storm of the century has other plans as they embark on a night of discovery, learning more about their co-worker than either anticipated.
Notes: This fic really has no point, I've been in a weird place, my WIPs are going nowhere so I wrote this one for fun to shake the cobwebs, so I hope you enjoy this little smutty trip to Denver.
Truth or Dare
“So, I’m going to need to send someone to Denver tomorrow.” Everyone in the room groaned and Emma tried to sink down in her chair. She hoped by making herself smaller, David wouldn’t see her, wouldn’t select her to travel this weekend. It’s not like she had plans, except to maybe binge watch the next few episodes of Bridgerton before Season 2 started up.
“Emma, I really need you there.” She internally groaned but smiled at her boss.
“Of course, I’m all over it, you can count on me, Boss.” He nodded and then turned his head to the other side of the large table.
“Killian, your input might be of use here.”
Emma wanted to slide under the table. Why on earth would David send Killian with her?
“Sir?”
“I think it’s important for you to provide your marketing experience to the executives.”
“Of course.” He remarked and Emma rolled her eyes, she didn’t need Killian’s experience in anything, she could handle a simple business negotiation without him but who was she to argue with David Nolan?
Emma stood from the table and hurried back to her office to book her travel. The moment she closed her door it opened behind her.
“Do you fly United, love?”
Her eyes literally rolled back in her head before she turned around. She looked up to see Killian Jones standing in her doorway. “You already know that’s the preferred partner of Nolan Industries.”
“I can book the hotel if you book the flight, might be easier if we divide and conquer on such short notice.”
“Yeah whatever.” She said, barely looking in his direction as she sat down at her desk.
“Alright, well, just email me the flight information. Did you need a ride to the airport tomorrow?”
“I can get there myself.” She said shortly, hoping he would just leave but realizing he was still standing in her doorframe. She sighed and then looked up to meet his gaze. “I’ll just meet you there.”
He smiled hesitantly as he finally started to leave. “Sure, sounds good. See you tomorrow.”
Emma kept her eyes on the screen in front of her, the last thing she needed to think about was a whole weekend alone with Killian Jones.
It wasn’t that she hated him, he seemed nice enough, she just didn’t spend a lot of time getting to know the people in her office, choosing instead to spend her time alone in her apartment after work, curled up with a glass of wine and a good book.
Killian had started working for the company about two years ago and while every woman at the company tripped over themselves to get to know him, she had better things to do.
Now she was going to have to spend an entire weekend alone with him in Denver. Her only hope was that the negotiations would be simple, and she would be back in her hotel room before he got on her nerves or even worse, tried to get to know her better.
~*~
Killian stared out the window as the plane made it’s decent. He hadn’t expected David to pick him for this trip, yet here he was, landing in Denver to negotiate an important deal for the company. Things were finally looking up for him professionally.
He could see the blonde hair of his travel partner from the top of her seat. He wasn’t surprised to find that Emma had booked his seat three rows behind her instead of beside her. They weren’t exactly acquaintances, in fact, Killian had yet to really make an impact on the woman since joining the company two years ago.
Not for lack of trying on his part, yet she seemed disinterested in talking to him beyond the occasional “how was your weekend” question as they passed each other in the hallway. Normally it didn’t take much for a woman to show interest in talking to him, generally he spent more time running from the women in his office than he did chasing one. This made Emma Swan intriguing, infuriating, and somewhat of an enigma to him.
They sat in silence on the cab ride to the hotel, large flakes of snow falling all around them outside the car.
“It’s the storm of the century.” The cab driver lamented. “Can’t say I’ve seen worse weather in all my time living here.”
“Wonderful.” Emma complained beside him.
“They’re saying the power is out all over town. I’ll be surprised if your hotel even has heat.”
“I’m sorry what?” Emma raised her voice and Killian reached out to still the woman beside him.
“I’m sure it’s fine, Swan.”
“How do you know; you are arriving at the same time as me?”
“Storm of the century.” He smirked, staring at her in annoyance, there was nothing he was going to say to put her at ease. And to his utter chagrin, when they arrived at the hotel he was quick to notice that the entrance was filled with candles, lighting the way to the front desk.
“So, it’s not fine then.” She remarked sarcastically as he held the door open for her.
It was going to be a bloody long weekend.
~*~
Emma looked around the lobby of the mostly dark hotel. Of course she would be traveling to Denver in the middle of a snowstorm. They had received a phone call letting them know that due to the weather, the meeting had been delayed until the morning, so now all she wanted to do was to get to her room, climb under the covers, forget about the entire trip, and go to bed early.
Killian approached her after talking to the desk clerk and she could already see from the look on his face, she wasn’t going to like what he had to say. “Alright Swan, do you want the good news or the bad news?”
She stared at her traveling partner in disgust. “Why is there bad news?”
“Storm of the century.” He said matter-of-factly, a smirk on his face.
“Fine, good news first.”
“Due to the storm, the restaurant isn’t open tonight, however they are providing dinner to our rooms for free, and the bar is included in the room service.”
“Lovely, then what is the bad news?” She scowled.
“Well love, apparently there was some sort of mix up in the reservation and well…”
She stared at his face, the frown growing on her lips as he hesitated to share whatever horrid news he had. “Spit it out, Jones.”
“They only had one room and well due to the storm, they are booked solid.” He held up the key in front of her. “So…roommate?”
Emma groaned loudly. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
“I assure you love; I would not joke about such a thing.” He tried to smile but Emma could see he was just as anxious as she was about the situation they were in.
“Fine, we’ll share the room.” She stated begrudgingly, following him up the stairs toward their floor. She was happy that they only had to climb three flights instead of higher into the darkness.
By the time he pushed the door open on room 322, she wanted to just hop in the shower and forget the entire debacle, however the moment she saw the room her heart dropped.
“It’s only got one bed, Jones.” She growled.
“About that, Swan…did I forget to mention the bed situation?”
“Bed Situation? This is more than a bed situation; this is a nightmare.” She complained, dropping her bag on the floor.
“I’ll take the floor, no need to worry. Everything will work itself out.” He shrugged, setting his bag in the corner, and lighting a few of the candles the hotel had offered them.
Emma sighed. “Fine. But I have dibs on the shower first.”
“As you wish, I hope a grilled cheese is satisfactory for dinner? They didn’t have a lot of options.”
Emma exhaled harshly, at least dinner would be to her liking, but she didn’t want to tell Killian that. He was the one who screwed up the reservation after all. She knew she should have planned her own trip. “It will do.” She said shortly as she stepped into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
~*~
Killian set the food out on the table, listening to the shower still running in the bathroom. The last thing he expected on this trip was to be sharing a room with Emma Swan, The Ice Princess of the Boardroom.
The bathroom door opened, and Emma stepped out in a pair of sweats and a t-shirt, her wet hair was pulled up into a towel on top of her head. He had never seen her look so relaxed outside of the office.
“Dinner is served, though it seems a bit cold.” He shrugged. “I supposed I’ll shower now since it won’t affect the temperature of the food if I wait or not.”
He retreated to the bathroom, quickly closing the door behind him to step into the hot shower and wash away the stress of the trip. He knew it wouldn’t be long until all the hot water was gone.
To be honest, the trip wasn’t a total nightmare. It wasn’t that he minded traveling for Nolan Industries, he had been grateful to David Nolan for taking him on, glad that there were still people willing to put their trust in him after what had happened at Gold Enterprises.
But being stuck in this hotel room with Emma Swan in the middle of the storm of the century was going to take more than just grilled cheese and some blankets on the floor for the trip not to end in a nightmare. He heard a knock on the door and quickly dried off to dress for the night.
When he left the bathroom, he saw the bottle of rum sitting on the table as Emma sat chewing on her sandwich. “You ordered rum? Really?”
“Figured it would keep us warm without the heat.”
“You want to drink a bottle of rum? With no mixers?”
“Sorry Princess, they didn’t have anything else. No need to partake if you can’t handle it.” He groused.
“I didn’t say I couldn’t handle it.” She scoffed defiantly.
They sat through dinner in an uncomfortable silence, chewing their food while ignoring the tight quarters they were being forced to share. He reached for the bottle and poured two glasses. “What do you say? Wanna play a game, love?”
“Excuse me?”
“Fancy a drinking game…unless you have a better idea? Never have I ever?”
“What are you twelve years old?” She laughed, reaching out to take her glass from the table and looking around the room as if she were considering her options.
“Come now, lass, I’ll start…” He paused. “Never have I ever played a drinking game while sitting in the dark with a co-worker.” He quickly took a drink. He watched as she looked at him in confusion. When she didn’t drink he exhaled. “If you’ve done it, you have to drink, Swan.”
“I know how to play the game.” She said dryly, putting the glass to her lips as she swallowed the liquid, her face immediately puckering. “God that’s not even good rum.”
“Beggars can’t be choosers; it warms the blood.” Emma wrapped the blanket around her shoulders.
“Fine, never have I ever gotten a tattoo.” She sat her glass on the table watching him suspiciously. He lifted the glass to his lips and took a sip. “Seriously? Where?”
He lifted his sleeve, showing the ship’s anchor on his shoulder. “Got it when I turned 18.”
“An anchor?”
“Aye, my brother Liam, he was in the Navy when he passed.” Her face dropped.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I had no idea.”
“No harm, lass.” He lowered his sleeve and thought about his next question, wanting to change the topic. “Never have I ever been in love.” After he took a drink, he was surprised when she didn’t. “Bullshit.” He scoffed.
“What? I haven’t.”
“It’s hardly a fair game if you aren’t going to be honest.”
“I am being honest; I’ve never been in love.” She stood up from the table and walked over to the bed. “This is a stupid game, let’s play something else.” She took another drink from her glass.
“Fine, truth or dare, love?”
She giggled loudly, “You’re kidding right? Do you play anything that’s not meant for high school students?” She sighed. “Fine, truth it is, but this is ridiculous.”
~*~
After the third question, Emma was starting to feel the alcohol spinning in her head. “Ok Jones, truth or dare?”
“Let’s shake things up, I’ll take a dare.”
“Oooh, brave.” She giggled and then thought about her options before coming up with something delicious. “Ok then, I dare you to go into the hall, knock on a door of your choosing, and flirt with whoever answers. Gender doesn’t matter.”
“That’s all you’ve got? Dare accepted.” He jumped up from his chair and peeked into the hallway, knocking on the door directly across the hall. The door slammed shut and she jumped up from the bed, peering through the peephole. She could hear his voice on the other side as an elderly woman opened the door.
“Good evening, gorgeous.”
“Can I help you, son?”
“With the storms brewing I thought I would check in on you, make sure that you are doing alright, love.”
“What are you playing at?” The woman asked with a cranky tone.
“I would hate a lovely lass such as yourself to find herself alone and without warmth on a night like tonight. Perhaps you are in need of some company, if you know what I mean?”
Emma put a hand over her mouth to stifle the laugh that escaped, pushing away from the door when Killian returned to the room, his hair and shirt soaking wet. “What happened?”
“Can you believe it; she threw a glass of water on me. Apparently she was not in the need of any company.” He said exasperatedly. Emma couldn’t contain her laughter until he tore the shirt over his head and tossed it to the ground. She swallowed hard as she stared at his naked torso, dark tendrils of hair covering his chest. She climbed back on the bed, dragging the pillow over her lap as she tried to hunker down into the mattress.
Killian plunked down into his chair and stared at her. “Your turn love.” He sighed, finishing his glass of rum, and pouring another round. He held the bottle up to her and she leaned forward, holding her glass up for him to fill. She knew she shouldn’t continue drinking but there was nothing else for the two of them to do anyway.
“I’m not ready for payback, so I’ll choose truth.” She shrugged.
“Have you ever cheated on a partner?”
“That was a waste of a question, never. I wouldn’t do that to someone I was with.” She took a sip of her drink and gestured for him to take his turn.
“Alright love, give me your best truth question.”
Emma bit her lip. “What happened to your brother?”
He seemed surprised by her question, taking a long sip of his drink. “Um…” He paused, almost hesitant to continue. “It was a training incident, his unit got cut off from the rest of the group and he made the call to save his team instead of returning to his family.”
Emma watched as he spoke with sincerity and sadness. Maybe it was the alcohol, but she had never seen Killian seem so genuine before. She almost felt guilty for the way she had been behaving toward him all day, none of this had been his fault, unless he was somehow responsible for the weather.
“He will always be a hero to me.” He lifted his glass and toasted toward the sky. Emma sat in silence, taking a sip of her drink in support. “Alright Swan, your turn.”
“I’ll stay with truth.” She smiled.
He narrowed his eyes. “What’s the most recent lie you’ve told?”
Emma stared at her feet, rocking back in the bed, she bit her lip as she contemplated her answer. “Fine, maybe I have been in love. Once.” She took another drink of her alcohol.
“Why lie about that, lass?”
“I don’t know, I guess being in love with Neal is a piece of my history that is more embarrassing to admit. I mean, he played me, he made me feel like a total idiot.”
“Honestly, I always thought Neal was kind of a douche.”
She cackled loudly. “He was a terrible person but an even worse lover.” She snorted as if she had just told her girlfriend a close secret.
“You alright there, love?” He asked as she buried her face in her pillow. She pulled the pillow away and stared at him.
“Who were you in love with?”
“Sorry?”
“You drank on that question, so who were you in love with?”
“I’m not the one who chose truth, love. That was your question, not mine.” He took another drink before getting up from the table and sitting on the floor. “Alright, bring it on, Swan. Dare.”
~*~
“Truth.”
“Hmm…” He pursed his lips and took another drink. “Best orgasm you’ve ever had?” His eyes never left her face as he watched her cheeks blush.
“Oh God no, no, no, can I change to dare instead?” She laughed, her face looking on in horror.
“I think that’s against the rules, but I’ll allow it.” He brushed his fingers against the stubble at his jaw. “Ok, Swan, I dare you to serenade me with your favorite song.”
“Oh God, I can’t sing…”
“Either you answer the question or give me your best Beyonce. Come on Swan, I believe in you.” He teased with a wink.
Emma took a long swig of her drink and stood up on the bed. “Oh God I can’t believe I’m doing this.” She covered her face with her hands and Killian couldn’t help but recognize how beautiful the woman truly was.
And then she sang, in the loudest voice she could muster, so loud that he half expected the grumpy old woman across the hall to come banging on their door.
“Kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand, strike up the band
And make the fireflies dance, silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me”
She held her arms out as she finished her last note and then collapsed on the bed, burying her face in the sheets. “Oh my God I can’t believe I just did that.”
He clapped loudly, holding his drink up toward her. “Well done, Swan. Truly remarkable, loud, but remarkable.”
~*~
After a couple of hours, Emma was starting to feel like she was getting a better understanding of Killian Jones. With each question he shared more of his personality, something that was starting to intrigue her. But…she felt like he was holding something back. She thought about her next question, asking before he finished his glass.
“Why did you leave Gold Enterprises?” She immediately saw the way he flinched at the question. She expected it honestly, the details surrounding Killian’s previous employer was shrouded in mystery. David had only shared that Gold Enterprises loss was Nolan Industries gain.
“Bloody hell, a little bit of alcohol and you go right for the jugular.”
“Are you choosing dare instead?” She asked with a tight smile.
“Fair is fair…” He sucked in a deep breath. “I guess the truth is I wasn’t really given a choice to stay.”
“So, you were fired?” She asked, confirming her earlier suspicion.
“Aye, but to be fair, it was a fate I deserved.”
“Stealing from the company?” She joked.
“You’re not far off.” He said seriously and Emma’s mouth dropped open. She was not expecting that.
“Wait, seriously? You stole from the company and David still hired you?”
“Not from the company, love.” He poured another glass of rum. “I suppose you could say I stole from Mr. Gold.”
“You stole money from Robert Gold?” She asked, a complete feeling of shock overwhelming her.
“Not money, but something he treated with just as much disregard.” He responded sadly. “Robert’s wife, Milah Gold.”
“Oh my God, you had an affair with the boss’s wife?” She dropped the pillow into her lap.
“It’s not as nefarious as you might think. I didn’t seek out an affair, I never intended something so distasteful. You remember when you asked me who the woman was that I loved from our earlier question? Milah was that woman.” He said solemnly.
“I’m guessing you got caught, hence Gold firing you.”
“I wasn’t aware she was Robert’s wife. We met at an office party; it was love at first breath to be honest. We began seeing each other, I should have questioned her insistence on keeping things private, but I only saw what I wanted to see. I was just as surprised as Robert when he caught us in my office, suddenly I saw a completely different side of her. And of course, her husband would believe her word against mine.”
“That’s terrible. I can’t believe she lied to you both.”
“You live and learn. She is and always will be my biggest regret and my greatest weakness.” He took another long drink from his glass, setting the cup back on the table and locking eyes with her. “But damn the sex was good. Best sex of my life…” He winked. “So far.”
Emma buried her face in her hands and laughed. “Oh God. I’ll never have a story like that. I’ve never even had an orgasm during sex much less had the best sex of my life.”
“That my dear is a bloody shame.” He shook his head. “There is no excuse for any man who doesn’t desire being able to make his woman fall apart either by his hand…” He sat up in his seat, “On his tongue, or buried inside of her as she screams your name.” Emma’s cheeks warmed and unconsciously she felt the nervous snort build inside of her before it escaped her mouth, Killian’s brow rose in amusement.
“Those men only exist in porn, fanfiction, or wet dreams. Men are only interested in getting their cocks off.”
He grabbed his chest and exhaled loudly. “You wound a man, Swan.”
“Just being honest.” She shrugged. “At least in my experience.”
He passed her the bottle of rum. “Just who are you, Swan?”
She took the bottle and poured it into her empty glass, trying to ignore the stare of his piercing blue eyes. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
He looked down at his hands for a moment before meeting her eyes again, something dark, yet honest swirling behind his pupils. “Perhaps, I would.”
She swallowed thickly, bringing the glass to her lips to have another sip of her liquid courage before passing the bottle back to him. She sat back on the bed again, trying not to settle her eyes in his lap. Wondering exactly what was behind those delicious sweatpants.
The silence sat thicky between them and Emma bit her lip. “Um it’s my turn…” She closed her eyes and breathed out. “Dare.”
She heard him chuckle before her lids opened, drawing up his body until she met his eyes. His tongue darted out to wet his lips and Emma admonished herself for wondering what he tasted like. “Alright Swan…” He paused, swirling his glass in front of him. “I dare you to let me show you what a real orgasm is like.”
She laughed loudly before realizing that he was serious. “No way.”
“I can’t sit by knowing that my gender has failed you, I think it only fair to right that wrong.”
Emma thought maybe she had drunk too much rum and had obviously passed out. There was no way he was suggesting what she thought he had said. “That’s not happening…we’re not…no.” She laughed, more certain now that if she herself hadn’t had too much to drink, he certainly had.
“Are you refusing the dare?”
She narrowed her eyes. “Seriously? It’s not happening, you and I…never going to happen.”
“I’ve not proposed marriage, love. Are you that terrified of an orgasm?”
“I’m not afraid of…you’re crazy.” She couldn’t think straight, suddenly images of Killian Jones touching her were invading her thoughts, causing reactions she wasn’t prepared for. Was it suddenly hot in here? She fanned herself without thought, seeing the immediate amusement on his face.
“Are you quite sure it’s that crazy? Come now, we’ll make rules, Swan.”
“Rules? No…” She squeezed her legs together, covering herself with her pillows. “No, we’re not making…what kind of rules would we even…?” Oh God, was she considering this?
“You can stay fully dressed, not a stitch of clothing would need to be removed.”
“Yeah right, because that’s possible.” She snorted.
“I can assure you lass, it’s very attainable.” He said seriously, his eyes dark and dangerous. Was he real?
“How are you going to…you know, without even touching me?” Oh God she was talking about this like it was a normal thing. This was not normal, it was crazy.
“I’m quite talented, Swan.” He winked and Emma flushed.
Fuck, she really was considering this.
“So fully clothed…and no kissing.” She heard herself say, barely recognizing her own voice.
“On the mouth.” He smirked. “I think I can accept those terms.”
“You think you can…” She scoffed. “This is crazy.” She shook her head, pulling the pillow up to her face.
“Fully clothed, no kissing on the mouth, anything else?” His voice was deep, did he always sound like that? She thought about what he said, none of this was possible, he was going to touch her through her clothes, he couldn’t kiss her, there was no way she was going to get off that way. Even when she tried to do it herself, it took her a frustratingly long time to get where she needed to be.
“Besides not doing it all, no, there isn’t anything else. I think those rules have already set you up for failure.” She chuckled nervously.
“Then we have an accord.” He sat up in his chair. “Come here, love.”
She swallowed hard. “Over there?”
“Aye.” His eyes locked with hers as she stood from the bed and walked toward him, her legs shaking with each step. She stared down at him as he sat back in the chair. He took her hand and pulled it to his mouth, brushing his lips against her palm. Good Lord, just watching him touch her was enough to leave her shivering. “Sit.” He demanded as he put his hands on her hips and turned her away from him, pulling her down into his lap. “Relax love.” His hands wrapped around her waist, and she felt his breath against her neck, sending electric shockwaves down her back. Her jaw tensed the moment she felt his mouth skim her earlobe.
“Most men fail in this complex task because they don’t pay attention to the cues.” His tongue glided against her neck. “It’s not about what you say, it’s about how she reacts to your words.” Emma shivered as the tenor of his voice vibrated in her ear. “Do you want me to touch you, Emma?”
Her entire body reacted the moment he said her name, she was either lost in a sea of alcohol, or drowning in his voice, currently she didn’t know which but the wetness forming between her legs made it clear that either one was working for her. She bit her lip. “Come, love, use your words.” He teased as his hands slid between her legs. She sat back in his lap, immediately intrigued by the bulge protruding against her backside.
He paused his hands at her thigh, his mouth hot against her ear. “Emma…”
“Yes.” She moaned, feeling his smirk grow against her skin.
“Good girl.” He mewed and the moment the words brushed against her, she melted into his touch. She was putty in his hands, and he was only touching her through her clothes. She could suddenly imagine him doing so much more, thoughts that had her entire body on fire. One hand palmed her mound through her sweatpants while the other traveled up her body, resting under her breast.
She wanted his hands on her, anywhere, as he continued to breathe heavily against her ear. When she moved her hips she heard him groan, a sound so simple yet so full of wanton desire that she thought she might fall apart in that very moment.
His hand slid against her breast, her nipple pebbling against the thin material of her pajama top. His thumb slid against the erected nipple, his tongue languidly pressed against her neck, it was so much and yet not enough all at once.
The noise she made was soft, yet the squeak that came after was not. He chuckled against her. “That’s the sound I want to hear.” He growled. His hand pressed against her center, pulling her against the bulge in his pants, grinding her down against him as they both moaned with an irrational need she never knew existed.
It felt like his hands were everywhere, his fingers were hard at her puckered nipple, the friction from his hands against her crotch had her soaking with desire. She couldn’t believe she was so close to the edge, so ready to fall into oblivion. “Let go, Emma.” His whisper was dripping with sex, the very definition of dangerous. She leaned back against his chest, feeling him grind his hips into her backside as his mouth brushed against her jaw, his lips dangerously close to hers.
It was overwhelming, but everything she needed before his name fell from her lips and her body released against him, her breaths coming out hot and heavy, her head swirling in thoughts she couldn’t even admit to herself. She could feel him breathing against her neck, a feeling that reminded her of the fact that she was still sitting on his lap as she came down from her high.
She stood quickly, removing herself from his embrace, she retreated to the safety of her bed, terrified of meeting his gaze. When she looked up he was watching her, his eyes still lost in a haze, not completely focused. “That was um…quite surprising and yet satisfying.”
“Aye it was…” He let his words hang in the air, not finishing his thought, simply drifting off as he stared at her.
“We should order dessert.” She announced, suddenly feeling like it was vital to eat something before the alcohol threatened to remove all her inhibitions.
He remained serious for a moment, almost lost in thought before the corner of his mouth upturned. “Dessert sounds delightful.”
~*~
Killian’s tongue darted across his lips, wetting them as they threatened to dry completely. He watched Emma sitting on the bed, enjoying each scrumptious bite of her cheesecake. Each moan of satisfaction she exclaimed from the delicate treat threatened to send him into oblivion.
He wasn’t sure how he had survived her dare, how he managed not to slip his hands into her pants and slide between the heat of her wet folds. He knew it was bad form to break an accord but the moment he had her writhing and moaning in his lap he had almost forgotten his manners.
The alcohol wasn’t helping either. With dessert came another bottle of rum and Emma seemed eager to continue their previous game of Never Have I Ever. He couldn’t tell if she truly enjoyed the information she gleaned from the game or if it were an excuse not to have to go to bed with him in the room.
“Never have I ever ridden a motorcycle.” She said excitedly as she watched him tip his glass to his mouth and drink.
“I’m fairly certain you’ve set these questions up in order to ensure I end up drunk.” He mused. “You know damn well I ride that bike to work every day, I park next to that awful yellow vessel you captain.”
She grinned, her tongue slipping out of her mouth for a moment and suddenly he felt his pants growing tighter, the woman was driving him mad with that mouth of hers. “Never have I ever died my hair pink.” He smirked.
“That’s cheating, David mentioned that in last week’s meeting.”
“If your motorcycle question wasn’t cheating, neither is this. Now drink, love.”
She tilted the glass back, downing the rest of the liquid in her drink. “Time for truth, answer me this…”
“Are we just making up the rules now?” He laughed.
She sat up on her knees, her pillow in her lap. “Have you ever thought of doing that before?”
“Doing what?” He questioned.
“That, what we did earlier.” She said as her cheeks blushed red.
“Have I ever thought of bringing you to orgasm through your clothes, love?” He responded with a look of pleasure, enjoying the squirm of discomfort it brought her. She nodded uncomfortably. “Just helping a lass out, couldn’t stand to hear you’d never experienced that before.”
“So, you got no enjoyment out of it?”
“Ah, so you want to know if I…”
“Did you, you know…” She pressed on, not making eye contact with him.
“Got off, ejaculate, jizz in my collective pants…”
“Oh my God, stop.” She wheezed anxiously. “I’m just curious, you know if you…”
“Came to completion?” He smirked. “A gentleman never tells.”
“Oh, now you’re a gentleman.” She teased.
“I’m always a gentleman, love.” He stated emphatically, his eyes not leaving hers.
“So, you didn’t?” She asked with an almost pouting frown. “I just thought you might have with the sounds you were…”
“Trust me, if I had you would have known.” He looked down at his lap with a smile.
She bit her lip, sitting up on her knees and he thought that although he managed to hold off before he might just jizz in his pants now. “I dare you to show me…”
“I’m sorry, what? I just did truth, now we’re suddenly doing dare?” It was at this moment that he realized that Emma Swan was bloody perfect and was going to be the death of him before the end of the evening.
“That’s because you wouldn’t do it anyway.” She said with a shrug of her shoulders.
“You intend me to show you what exactly?”
“You know…” She asked shyly, covering her face with her hands.
“Are you asking to see my dick, love? You seem to have trouble tonight using your words, Swan?” This evening was shaping up to be quite the surprise, but he was going to make her work for it.
“I want to see how you…you know, get off.”
“Bloody hell.” He swore, shifting immediately in his seat. “Who are you and what have you done with Emma Swan?”
She sat back on the bed and bit her lip. “You watched me get off, I’m just curious, because I kinda thought you did too but if you didn’t, then that’s really not fair is it?”
“Fair?” He scoffed. “Suddenly there’s fair in truth or dare?”
“You got to see me in that state, in order to lower the playing field, I think it’s only right.”
“Lower the playing field?”
“I mean we work together and now anytime I see you I’m going to know that you watched me…you know, and I think it might be better if at least I could say the same.”
“You kept your bloody clothes on, I’m hardly seeing how watching me…”
“I didn’t say I thought you’d actually do it.” She said sharply.
“Is that so?”
She nodded slowly and he stood defiantly, pulling his sweats down his hips, and pushing them to the floor in one sweep. His cock stood at attention against his stomach, begging to be touched.
Well, he had bloody done it now, he was either going to end up fired or lose his mind.
“Holy shit…” She whispered from the bed, leaning back against the headboard. He waited for her to scream or yell or say something even remotely angry, like threaten to take him to HR, but instead she simply wet her lips with her tongue and stared at his crotch.
Before he could stop himself, he settled back into his chair, grasping himself in hand as he gave himself a pump. His eyes closed for a moment and his head fell backwards. What the hell was he doing? He opened his eyes again, glancing toward the woman on the bed who seemed entranced with the way his hand moved. His arousal grew as he watched her squeeze her legs together, her fingers white as she gripped the sheets beside her. He could only imagine what her fingers could do to him.
He stroked himself in a fluid motion, keeping his eyes on the woman in the bed, wishing like hell he could touch her again, to have her touch him. He heard a noise from across the room, a moan he was sure she tried to stifle, and it only seemed to propel him further, increasing the speed of his hand.
“Fuck.” She whispered as he trailed the full length of his erect cock with his fist, pumping quickly as his eyes traveled her body, the thin material of her shirt barely concealing her erect nipples.
“See something you like?” He whispered breathlessly. Her eyes locked with his and the moment they did he felt his entire body tense as ropes of white streamed out across his stomach and chest, eliciting a loud groan. “Fuck, Emma…” His eyes squeezed shut as he fisted himself until his movements slowed, his hand dripping with the sticky substance as he tugged along his shaft waiting for his breathing to return to normal.
When he opened his eyes she was staring at him, blinking silently. “I’m uh, just gonna clean this up.” He stood quickly and entered the bathroom, closing the door shut behind him as he slid down the door toward the floor.
~*~
Emma stared at the closed door, hardly able to breath after what she just witnessed. Killian Jones had just jerked off in front of her. It was the most sobering and intense thing she had ever witnessed. She had been frozen to her spot in the bed, her body aching, the tension inside of her winding up again after her earlier release. She didn’t know how to describe what she had just watched. She couldn’t even believe he had gone through with her request, much less that she actually had the nerve to watch him do it.
It was the hottest thing she had ever seen. But now what?
They just go back to work and pretend they took a trip to Denver, completed their work, and returned home? How was she ever going to sit across from him at the meeting table again without seeing him sitting in that chair, his eyes glued to her body as he pumped himself to completion?
She was screwed.
The door opened and Emma jumped slightly. He walked over to the closet and pulled the extra pillow and blankets down from the shelf, arranging them on the floor across from the bed as if nothing had happened.
“What are you doing?”
“Going to bed.” He shrugged.
“On the floor? I mean, after all that tonight, I think we can manage to share a bed. We’re adults, right?”
“Emma, I wouldn’t want to impose.”
She snorted. “You just gave me the best orgasm of my life, but you don’t want to impose by sleeping next to me in this shitty ass hotel we got forced to share.”
He smirked, “Best orgasm of your life, eh?”
“Just get in the bed, Jones.” She demanded, pulling the covers down on the other side of the bed.
“As you wish.” He bowed before blowing out the candle and climbing onto the mattress. Emma laid on her back, staring up at the dark ceiling. She couldn’t turn off her brain, she had so many thoughts swirling around in there.
“Truth…” She said softly. “What were you thinking about?”
She heard his quiet chuckle before he spoke. “I was thinking about what would have happened if you had still been on my lap.”
She slapped his chest. “I’m serious.”
“So was I.” She felt him roll over onto his side, facing her. “Just imaging what it would have been like without those ridiculously intrusive sweatpants in the way.” Emma swallowed, almost choking on her own spit. “Emma.” He said in a whisper, the heat of his breath only inches from her face. “Truth or dare…”
She felt like she was holding her breath. “Dare…” She replied softly.
She felt his mouth against her neck. “I dare you to kiss me.”
She turned quickly, her lips seeking his in the dark, he met her with a fury as he buried his hand in her hair, a groan escaping his throat.
His tongue pressed against her lips, and she opened her mouth to give him access. His hand lay still on his hip, the other still tangled in her hair, she needed more.
“I Dare you…” She moaned. She felt him chuckle against her lips. “Please touch me…” It was almost a whine, full of desperation and want but it had the impact she was hoping for. He rolled her over onto her back, his mouth still attacking hers until she felt the skim of his teeth against her jaw as he worked his way to her neck.
Emma was positively humming in anticipation when his fingers skimmed her waist, slipping under her t-shirt until she felt flesh against her abdomen, sucking in a breath, she let out a moan she couldn’t suppress. She had never done anything like this before. The entire evening with Killian was out of the realm of “normal Emma Swan behavior”, and yet with Killian, she wanted this, she wanted him, she wanted to feel this insanely powerful freeing feeling that being with him gave her.
His fingers continued to travel upward until she felt them brush the underside of her breast, and she arched toward his hand, pressing herself against his palm. “So needy.” He groaned against her neck.
Needy didn’t describe her desire strongly enough, she wrapped a leg around the back of his thigh, pulling his body against hers as she grinded her hips into his. “Want more.” She said breathily.
“Patience, Swan. I’ll give you what you need.” He promised, his eyes suddenly meeting hers when his fingers finally found her nipple, kneading it against his thumb. The wanton moan escaping her throat loudly.
“Yes…” She sighed. “More.”
He smirked, tugging her shirt up her body and dipping his head to press his lips against her flesh, sucking her pert nipple into his mouth. She mewed softly, her fingertips lightly scraping his scalp as she tugged the dark strands of hair in her hand, pulling him against her body.
His other hand trailed down her body, her flesh on fire everywhere he touched, and the only thing that could stop the burn was more Killian. She felt his fingers playfully dipping under her waistband, the anticipation of his touch growing more desperate.
His fingers dipped between her folds, almost teasing as he slipped inside of her only to immediately withdraw. She groaned in frustration and felt his smirk, the hairs on his jaw scratching against her breast, his fingers plunging inside of her again. Her head was spinning as she arched off the bed. “God yes.”
“I want to hear you sing, my beautiful Swan.” She had no chance to react the moment she felt his breath against her core. Her fingers tightened in his hair, needing to feel him closer. She could feel the spring winding inside of her again, similar to earlier in the evening when he touched her through her sweats, only now it was divine, now he was driving inside of her, his wet tongue licking a stripe against her, her legs tensing as he continued to drive into her.
She could feel herself getting closer, his fingers weren’t enough, she needed more.
“I need to feel you inside me.” She moaned.
He paused his movement, glancing up to meet her eyes before he slid up her body. “Never have I ever wanted a woman so badly in my life.” The kiss was desperate and full of intention and Emma matched the intensity as his tongue invaded her mouth. She dug her feet against the back of his knees, grinding her body against his erection, her hands desperately tugging at the waistbands of his sweatpants.
“Then take these damn things off…” She whined, anxiously tugging at her own to pull them from her body. She hadn’t felt this desperate in years, an urgent need welling as the fire burned inside of her. The clothes flew around the room before they came together again, she could feel his erection at her side, hard and waiting. His mouth was hot on hers as he slid between her legs, and she felt the welcome intrusion press against her center.
“Wait, wait, wait…” She scrambled, pulling away from him. “When were you last with someone?”
He pressed his mouth to her cheek, “It’s been a while love, if you’re nervous about…”
“I haven’t been with someone for months, I mean I’m protected, I take the pill, I just…”
“I’m not usually impulsive, though the situation we are currently in may seem to say otherwise.” She pulled him against her, pressing her mouth to his. “Emma…”
“Dare…”
She felt his smirk against her mouth. “No more need for dare’s, love. Your heart’s desire, Swan. I promise, that’s all I want you to have.” His lips ghosted against hers.
“I need…” She whined, her voice sounding foreign to her, begging for something she couldn’t put into words.
“I’ve got you.” He pressed against her entrance, and she felt him slide between her folds, the tip of his cock sliding inside of her before pulling away. She moaned in frustration before he slid in again, filling her, stretching her, and then leaving her empty once more. He was driving her to oblivion with each tentative thrust.
She nipped at his lip with her teeth, sucking his bottom lip into her mouth, eliciting a groan from his mouth. His thrusts increased, his kiss becoming almost animalistic as his thrusts became harder, driving into her with each plunge. She could feel her walls tighten around him as she met him thrust for thrust as she arched against him, needing the friction the closeness gave to her.
She could feel it building inside of her again, teetering closer as Killian took her to the place she needed to be. “Let go…” His breath was hot against her ear as he drove into her, sending her over the edge as the string inside of her snapped.
“Killian…oh God…yes…” She screamed into the darkness as she heard her name against her ear over and over again in a beautiful whisper.
He rested his forehead against hers, as his breathing came out in shallow breathes. “That was….”
“An interesting development.” She laughed.
“Is interesting good or bad?” He asked as he rolled over onto his side.
“Honestly…”
“We’ve been playing truth’s all night, why would I want you to lie now?”
“I always found you to be kind of annoying.” She said shortly.
“Bloody hell, that’s not exactly…”
“But…” She teased, cutting him off. “Maybe I was just unable to see past your rugged good looks and boyish charm.”
“Swan, it’s bad form to attack a man simply because he’s devastatingly handsome, one might even say dashing, but I would hope that I have proven tonight that I’m no boy.” His lips grazed the corner of her mouth. She couldn’t stop the smile from growing on her face.
“I don’t know, I might need to see some more evidence.” As he pulled her onto his chest, she was sure that neither of them would be getting any sleep tonight.
~*~
Killian showered quickly when he heard the knock on the door. Breakfast was being served to all hotel guests, the power had returned shortly before they woke that morning. He wrapped the towel around his waist and entered the room. Emma smiled from the table, dressed only in one of his t-shirts. “Morning.” She grinned as he sat down across from her.
She pushed his plate toward him and then took a bite of her toast. “Someone’s chipper this morning.” He teased.
“It was all the orgasms.” She whispered seductively with a wink. Grabbing the bottle of rum, he watched as she poured a shot into his glass and slid it toward him. “Never have I ever had sex with the boss’s daughter.” He had no idea what she was talking about but stared at the glass. “Better drink up, you might need the courage to explain yourself when we get home.” She chuckled.
“I’ve never done that, love, I already told you, she was the boss’s wife.”
The phone rang and Killian caught a glimpse of David’s name on the screen before she answered. “Hello, Daddy…”
Shit.

FFX-2 will forever serve as a guilty pleasure for me. I'm both excited to play an all-ladies cast with varied goals, personalities, and interaction, but I have to content with the unnecessary fanservice. I love that it tonally shifts in the opposite direction from its predecessor's somber vibe to emphasize the vast change and aftermath that finally afforded the people of Spira a sense of discovery and freedom now that a perpetual and inevitable cycle of death no longer looms over their heads, but I acknowledge the cheesiness and over-the-top humor may not be for everyone (I honestly love it). And I genuinely enjoyed how fast-paced the battle system is after coming from the much more slower-paced FF games (which, fair, I didn't even realize at the time how much I wanted faster ATBs in a JRPG), though getting 100% on ONE walkthrough is a pain in the ass, required me to eye my Prima Guidebook extensively, and forced me to play fucking Sphere Break.
I even like that it's Yuna looking for Tidus because I tend to like it when women are often driving themselves to rescue their male love interest because it's always been a reversal I've enjoyed from the dreaded "Save the Princess" plot, but also, I VASTLY prefer the Normal Ending where Yuna learns to let go and move on with her life. Mostly because of the aforementioned problem stated above, but also I'm just not really fond of characters who were meant to die and stay dead suddenly comes back to life for plot convenience. Plus, I just really like the theme that Yuna learns a lot about herself and learns to heal from her loss, so she and her gal pals can set out for more adventure. That's cool. That's hopeful! It feels right for what FFX-2's "Let's go into the horizon" narrative was going for. It's my ending of choice in any case.
Also, "real Emotions" is a bopper and I unironically love it.
youtube
Genuinely, I love this goofy, corny introduction. I fucking love it. I think it says a lot about my taste that I own a copy of FFX-2, but NOT FFX (which I like, mind you!)
I just...
I just like this game, okay?
A lot of long-running media franchises offer the opportunity to mess with fans by insisting that the best instalment is some off-the-wall choice, but I think Final Fantasy might be the most fun because, with extremely specific yet relatively reasonable criteria for what makes a good game, you can argue with a straight face for X-2.

Wanted to write a little one shot, plotless porn... so here’s part 1/5 :)) Some plot wiggled itself in, oops. I just wanted the reader not to be a goody two shoes, couldn’t find any fanfics, so I wrote one. Classic story.  Y/N is not evil, but definitely on the morally grey, leaning dark side. Seduction to the grey side if you will.
Spam me any ‘seduction to the dark side’ stories with OC/reader tho, Poe, Kylo, anyone. I crave MORE!
Summary: Poe meets a stranger in a bar. They bang.
Warning: uum the no pants dance. sucking the oyster.
EDIT: AHAHAHA OMG the paragraphs didn’t paste in order!!! FFS... fixed it now >.<
Probably ooc, probably some wrong tech/lore. Wrote for fun.
I like mood boards.
Tumblr media
The bar was packed, the music loud and energizing. People were either chatting on the margins, tables full of drinks, or enjoying themselves on the dance floor. Poe checked the time again, remembering to keep his expression relaxed. The informant was almost four hours late, something must have went wrong. Or he'd changed his mind, or perhaps he never existed. It was not everyday that they received intel about the First Order from a supposed deserter - the possibilities were endless and the factors unprecedented.
Everyone thought it might be a trap, but the chances for it were dwindling by the minute. Surely if this was some kind of ploy something would have already happened by then. He took another short sip of his drink - his second cup of ardees already - trying to stall for as long as possible. His eyes wandered over the crowd again, a small smile forming on Poe's lips. It was nice to see them having fun, aliens and humans alike, no worries of the oppressions of the First Order. Or the constant pressure for duty in the Resistance. He felt like he could be a part of that, in a simple pair of trousers and a white T-shirt he could pass as one of the party goers and pretend, for just a selfish moment, that he was carefree.
A flash of red caught his attention and he turned his head, dismissing the previous heavy thoughts. The source of the vibrant color was enticing, the silky fabric of her crimson dress hugging all the right curves as the woman made her way to the opposite side of the bar. Skin glistened in the brighter lights from behind the bar. Two drinks were placed before her and he noticed she was accompanied by another woman, the pair clinking the glasses and gingerly sipping on the neon colored liquid.
Her friend whispered something in her ear and she turned towards him, piercing eyes meeting his for a split second, landing straight on him as if guided by some unknown force. It lasted but a moment, the two women giggling between them the next.
"Something caught your eye, Black Leader?" Poe let out a small sigh and shook his head ever so lightly. He was not supposed to answer and in fact, they were not supposed to use the channel at all, except for an emergency if the whole operation had turned out to be a trap. Chatting about a stranger in a bar did not sound like an emergency. Still, a silly smile played on his lips. How long had it been since he'd done something so... mundane, like going out drinking and meeting a woman who was not also his colleague in the resistance. "Heads up, she's coming your way."
Poe panicked for a moment. He was on a mission! Even if the chances of the informant coming were close to none and at that point and they were about to call it a day, he was still on duty. For about another 15 minutes maybe. The woman could spook the mole, or worse, get caught in some twisted First Order plot that made him waste time and credits in a bar on some nondescript outer planet... Ok, there was probably no evil plot and a beautiful woman was drawing closer.
"Hi. Mind if I sit?" She gestured to the stool beside him. Her voice was smooth and pleasant and she seemed to strain a bit to be heard over the noise. She was pretty, but there was something more to it, something in the way she stood tall and proud, those sharp eyes, playful and wise at the same time.
"I'd be a fool to refuse." Her smile widened and she sat gracefully on the cushion, his eyes immediately drawn to her backside. He snapped them back to her face, but the all-knowing smirk on her plush lips told him he did not go unnoticed.
"I'm Y/N." He reached to shake the outstretched hand, her skin soft against him, but she had a good grip, not as delicate as he'd imagined. His name passed his lips before he could think of an alias, or a reason to use one.
"Poe." He could almost hear Temmin's scoff on the other end of the comms, even if they hadn't been turned them on.
"Nice to meet you, Poe." She almost purred his name and he had to remind himself that they were on a Resistance mission. Focus! "Now tell me, who had the audacity to stand up a guy like you?" He raised an eyebrow, but before he could ask she continued. "I saw you coming in a while ago. Was mustering my courage to come over, but you looked like you were waiting for someone. Didn't want to cause any trouble." Somehow he doubted the last part. He couldn't place the mischievous little glint in her eyes.
"Not used to being the one to make the first move?"
"On the contrary. I've learned in life you have to seize what you desire." Her eyes traveled slowly across him, right hand playing with the rim of her glass.
"You risk someone else stealing it from right before your eyes. Like I'm doing right now, I suppose. Your date missed the chance, and here you are with me instead."
"Turned out in my favor I'd say." He let his own gaze wander, from the soft features o her face, down the curve of the neck and all the down her low cut of her dress, the valley between her breasts exposed to him.
"We shall see. We've barely met after all, but the night is young." It really wasn't that early anymore, midnight was just hours away. "Tell me about yourself, Poe."
"What would you like to know?"
"Are you a local? You don't look like it, though." There was that look in her eyes again, playful but observant, not letting anything escape her.
"I'm not, I'm from Yavin."
"Long way from home." He shrugged, sipping his drink to give himself time to find an excuse. He'd already given his real name, probably shouldn't follow with 'Resistance pilot' right after.
"I'm a freighter pilot."
"Ah, hauling goods across the galaxy. You must have seen so many place!" He was not expecting her to be so enthusiastic about it, but he welcomed the attention. For once someone was interested in just him, not the star pilot of the Resistance.
"You wouldn't believe half of them." She scooted over, or maybe he just thought she did, wished it so, but she felt closer nonetheless, lashes fluttering as she fixed him again with her eyes. Her voice was low, like they were sharing a secret, despite the music still blasting around them in the bar.
"Well, what it the strangest place you've seen?" He tried to quickly excluded some of the more famous ex-Empire location and obviously Resistance related ones, but truth was he'd only ever traveled for his work. It was fighting the First Order here and looking thought jedi sites there, endlessly searching for a trace of the Luke Skywalker, one day after the next, it was always related to the conflict between light and dark.
"Probably Telos. The sheer determination to build up a chunk of a planet just to keep it together... it was an impressive sight, motivating." She hummed nodding her head.
"I've always wanted to travel and see everything. So many different ecosystems, cultures, creatures... I get a little sad when I think I'm never going to be able to discover them all."
"You travel a lot then?"
"When the job allows me." She paused and bit her lower lip, drawing Poe's eyes like a magnet. "I'm a glorified errand girl, but I get away with some little excursions." She leaned a little closer still, he could see a faint scar right below her eyebrow, easily missed with a trick of the light. He could feel the genuine excitement in her voice. "I strayed a bit off course once to this planet in the Belderon sector, Lola Sayu. Don't think 've seen anything quite like it... half of it is missing, blown up ages ago, but the atmosphere formed around the missing part, encapsulating it. It made this giant ball, yellow and purple mashed together.
"The Belderon sector? What were doing all the way there?"
"Ok, ok, I strayed a lot off course, like a week maybe, but I just had too see it."
"Seize what you desire..."
"Exactly! We only have one life and we never know when it might end. I plan to make the most of it." Poe stared at the woman for a long moment. She was bright and smart and oh, so beautiful - it was more intoxication than his long forgotten drink. A mouthful of fresh water after days in the desert, her view of the world, simple but joyful, gave him a surge or energy, of hope. Temmin's voce in his ear was low, but the words were exactly what Poe needed to hear.
"You deserve a break, Poe. Our contact ain't coming and we are to leave only in the morning. See you at the ship tomorrow. Black Two, out."
He wasn't sure who leaned in first, but one moment her hand was on his thigh and the next his own hands were cradling her closer, pulling her off her stool and onto his lap. His senses were assaulted all at once, the loud music, the sweet taste of her mouth and the flowery perfume he hadn't notice before. Her lips were soft but the kiss was relentless, both devouring one another, her body pressed so close to his.
She smiled, a little curve of her lips that stirred things in him, that promised passion and a reckless abandonment, and took his hand to pull him along. He craved for more, more kisses, more skin, so he followed without a second thought. She skipped across the street and they hastily made their way to her room on the first floor, stealing kisses in the doorway and on the stairs.
He pressed her against the door as she was locking it, her ass pushing back deliciously. His mouth fell on her shoulder, hands going up her sides, slightly pulling on the fabric of the dress, making her body shiver in anticipation. The damn thing had to come off. Her arms lifted as if thinking the same, so he backed up and pulled the dress over her head with ease. His fingers traced the expanse of her back and hooked on her lace thong pulling it slightly. With a small gasp she turned, eyes dark with lust, only in heels and the flimsy little piece of red lace. Poe couldn't remember a time he had been more turned on.
He kneeled and lifted her leg over his shoulder with little warning. She gasped as his fingers traced the lace, already seeping wet and ready. The thong was pulled aside and his mouth was on her, sucking and biting eagerly, his tongue circling her bud, lapping at her flowing juices. She moaned loudly, her fingers twisting in his hair.
"Not fair..." She panted from above, but her hips bucked towards him. He smirked and pushes a finger inside her, then a second, lifting his head to look at her. She was gorgeous, ragged breaths and knees trembling as he pumped his fingers vigorously, thumb stroking her clit. The obscene sound of her moans and dripping pussy filled the small room, tantalizing. He got up, mouth clasping over a nipple and she arched her back pressing to him, head rolling back against the door as the walls clamped over his digits. Poe backed up barely an inch to look her in the eyes as he brought his fingers to his mouth, needing to taste her one more time. She let out a straggled breath, half sigh half moan and roughly pulled on his T-shirt. "Clothes off. Now."
"Yes ma'am." He was happy to oblige, his dick straining in his boxers, already damp with precum. His clothes flew off unceremoniously, their hands bumping as they both pulled on the fabric, rushed to unzip his pants and pull down his boxers. Hand on his chest, she backtracked him until his legs hit the bed then pushed him on it. Her hands traced up his legs, crawling in between them, eyes never leaving her prize as she laid kisses up his thighs, nails scraping at his skin, closer to where he needed her the most. He took hold of her upper arms and spun them around so she was caged beneath him.
"Not fair." She breathed out a moan as his dick rubbed against her folds. He wanted her, needed her like air.
"Next time."
"Deal." He pushed inside her in one swift move, rougher than he intended, but she let out the most erotic sound he's ever heard, a loud and lewd groan, ringing in his ears as her body purred. Her words slurred from her pretty little mouths in short breaths.
"Shit, Poe, you're driving me, insane." She had no idea what she was doing to him. His mouth was on hers again, drowning her moans as he rocked his hips, plummeting in her core. Her shaking arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer like her life depended on it. He hooked one arm beneath her knee and pulled her leg up, spreading even more, going even deeper. It was raw and desperate, passion in its purest form. Her nails dug at the skin on his back, his name chanted from her lips like a prayer as his rhythm turned merciless. Thank the gods he'd told her his real name. He buried his head in the crook of her neck, nipping and sucking at he tender flesh.
Her eyes rolled in back of her head and his entire body shook above her as her pussy milked his dick with greed, clamping around him like a vice. Their breaths mingled, their skin sleek with sweat, but tingling still. With the last sliver or power he had, Poe rolled on his back and pulled her with him, her leg slipping over his, her hand on his chest. He was still in a daze, but looking at her she was not better, eyes half closed and unfocused, her fingers drawing lazy patters on his chest. He remember bringing her hand to his lips before falling asleep.
He woke up first, Y/N still curled over him, hair sprawled on the pillow behind her. She had pulled a silky sheet over them some time after he passed out. He smiled, lips pressing gently on the top of head. He pulled her closer, almost not believing she was real. She stirred, letting out a contents little sigh, but didn't wake up.
Poe enjoyed the feeling of her in his arms a moment longer, his brows more furrowed by the second, his lips pressed in a thin line. He had to go soon and he didn't know when he would see her again. His hand trailed the smooth skin on her back, not wanting to leave the bed, taking in every detail of her beautiful face. When the sun had finally fully risen there was no more time left.
He went to collect his scattered clothes, his mind running a mile a minute, thinking of how to tell her he was actually in the Resistance, wondering his she will react to him lying about his work, about his identity, but most importantly if she would want to see him again. Gods, he hasn't even left her room yet and he was already dreaming of when he'd hold her in his arms next. Poe smiled, he felt like a teen again, the only care in the world the affection of his lover.
But the world was cruel and he was not a silly boy back on Yavin. He found his T-shirt thrown all the way near her side of the bed and as he bend down to retrieve it, the holopad on the nightstand beeped loudly three times before a robotic voice boomed in the small chamber, the dark figure projecting from it chilling his blood.
"Y/N, I assume the traitor has been dealt with already. You better be on the Supremacy when I arriver to continue our training. You have an hour." Poe's breath caught in his throat, his mind so overwhelmed it first went blank then exploded with the possibilities and implications. The idea that he'd spent the night with one of the First Order's top assets... Did he steal something off him? Had it been a trap?
His eyes fell on the holopad again, the blinking light showing she had a message. From fucking Kylo Ren! She was training with Leia's kid, she was dark side.
She was evil.
But she couldn't be, could she?
Poe was so lost in thought he didn't even hear her as she stretched in bed behind him, the yellow glint in her eyes catching in the morning sun as her gaze fell on him.

To my lovely beautiful DaiSuzu fans,
I recently received a very rude ask from a toxic Daiharu fan telling me how all DaiSuzu shippers are “disgusting” and “gross” for shipping relatives, and how they “can’t stand straight people and their need to always force heterosexual ships,” especially in relation to “Daisuke and Suzue who clearly do not have mutual feelings for each other.”
Not only do I find this incredibly offensive but I see it as extremely discriminative as well. This goes far beyond the realm of shipping and enjoying anime content and debates. It is a deliberate and personal attack on DaiSuzu shippers and the real people behind the screen.
This person’s behaviour is absolutely repulsive and completely hypocritical. To group people in the same bracket as gross and disgusting just for shipping characters is beyond belief.
I have chosen not to publicly post the ask because I will not be spreading negative content. And I know it is probably what this troll wants. I want to let this person know that their behaviour is abusive, disrespectful and NOT okay.
I am already seeing an escalation of abuse towards Suzue and DaiSuzu shippers post-Episode 8. I am disgusted with how this fandom operates and its treatment towards other fans and women in general (fiction or not!). Because as soon as there is some sort of intimacy between heterosexual couples (re; Daisuke and Suzue), toxic fans feel the need to express their anger and frustration on DaiSuzu shippers who are happily minding their own business.
Keep your bloody opinions to yourself. We do not want to hear it. I am appalled by this vile behaviour and I can see why some fans have dropped the show completely. It’s because they do not feel safe expressing their opinions and their ships and their love for their characters. You toxic daiharu shippers need to take a closer look at yourself and how your abusive behaviour impacts on others.
I have already posted my own reason as to why I ship Daizue. Do you think us DaiSuzu shippers would just waltz out there and decide to condone incest? Ffs! Our reasoning behind our shipping of DaiSuzu is much more complex than you deciding to ship two male characters who breathe the same air.
To the novel readers who are invested in Daizue’s relationship. I am so sorry that you feel misunderstood and berated by toxic anime fans. I am sorry that they undermine your interest in both the novel and the anime. You have the rights to ship Daizue in the novel as much as in the anime, and feel frustrated that the anime screwed up Suzue’s relationship status to Daisuke. You also have the rights to feel unsettled and confused and unsure and still wanting to ship Daizue in the anime without having toxic fans accuse you of shipping incest. It is confusing as both a novel reader and an anime watcher and I completely understand the limbo position you are stuck in when it comes to DaiSuzu.
But please remember this. Those toxic daiharu fans are responsible for their own actions, and it is not any of us DaiSuzu shippers’ fault for wanting to enjoy the anime and ship these two beautiful characters.
Daizue’s relationship status at this stage is still unknown. The anime creators have propositioned intimacy/romance between Daisuke and Suzue from the OP. It is clear as day. Any non-anime watcher who looks at that OP of Daizue would immediately think romance. So if that is what the anime creators are bringing across to fans then there is even more of a reason not to be embedded with feelings of guilt for shipping them.
I say this once more. Our little group of DaiSuzu shippers may be small, but we will not stand for abuse of fans or of Suzue. Suzue may be a fictional character, but the fact that she is hated because she is female and because she is a threat to daiharu, is internalised misogyny at its finest. Considering the vast majority of toxic daiharu shippers are women themselves, it is atrocious that you even think along the lines of condoning violence against women. And just because it is a fictional female character, it does not excuse you from being misogynistic. It spills over into your own perception and values of women and girls in the real world. Please be mindful of how you portray yourself to others online with regards to hating female characters - because that is an extension of who you are as a person.
Anyways, my precious DaiSuzu shippers, thank you for being so supportive! We are a great community amongst such a toxic fandom. We all keep each other going with our love for Daisuke and Suzue!
Rest assured that novel Daisuke and Suzue are very happy to hear that we ship them because that was how their relationship was made - for each other ❤️❤️
Yours sincerely,
A novel reader, an anime watcher and a frustrated DaiSuzu shipper

Percy Jackson & The Avengers: Convergence - percy is taken by the men (women) in black
Ok, so by what I've been hearing, there has been some confusion regarding the timeline, so here's the full explanation: figure it out for yourselves. My beta reader and I have already discussed this (MONTHS AGO IN FACT!) and we ultimately decided to not go into any specifics because it wasn't important to the story and the only thing you guys needed to know was that Percy and Annabeth were 18 now, and it's after the first Avengers movie and that Thor's not there. Got it? Ok, now to the real good stuff!
Thank you to all the people who have responded kindly to this story. Honestly, it made my day to find that I had already received 3 reviews on ff before it had even been out an hour. So, thanks so much guys.
THIS IS STILL CANON I JUST HAVEN'T HAD THE CHARACTERS MENTION MAGNUS CHASE OR THE KANES YET YOU MONGRELS!!! Ok. I think I covered everything. Stay safe and happy reading!
- your author
PS hopefully these will start to get shorter cuz I hate reading long A/Ns on other fanfics so I don't want to be THAT person.

Knock Knock
"Come in, Hill," Fury said, already knowing it would be his second-in-command.
As she entered, Fury noticed a slight change in her attitude. It wasn't large, but it was noticeable to the experienced spy's eyes. It was almost- confusion? What could she have discovered that caused her to be confused?
"Sir, I found a possible suspect. He's...not what we expected," Hill told him, placing a file on his desk.
The file included a single piece of paper. A SINGLE PIECE OF PAPER!!! Who was this guy that could evade SHIELD's suspicion for so long? Surely, someone smart. Very smart.
"What do you mean, Hill?" he asked, picking up the paper.
The woman in question cleared her throat before responding, "See for yourself. He's just a kid."
Not displaying any surprise, though there was some going through his head, Fury read the information on the sheet:

Fury sighed. Just great. Another troublemaker to give him a headache. And what was with the Classified stamp? Nothing is classified to the director of the company who created the file, so why was this?
Deciding to put it off for further thought, and steeling himself over again, Fury gave his orders to Agent Hill, "Find him. Bring him in for questioning. Don't make a scene."
They were simple orders in themselves, but Fury knew better than to expect everything to go smoothly. Any second grader could figure out that Perseus Jackson was not one to do things smoothly. Hell, it would be a miracle if they even got the chance to talk to the kid before he did some crazy stunt that would most likely get someone hurt. That's just how Fury's luck was.
"Understood, sir. I'll let you know when we have him in custody," Hill answered before briskly striding out the office door.
Fury sighed once she was gone, running a hand over his face. With nobody watching, he could truly let the stress on the inside seep into the outside. It wasn't just this one case either, there had been a couple other bombings popping up around the US, and they weren't any closer to finding the source. All they knew about them was that they were connected and that they were seemingly random attacks. Add finding Jackson to the mix and his mind was about ready to implode.
But unfortunately, the director of SHIELD didn't have time for breaks, so he went back to work on the multitude of information residing on his desk.
Ω ♆ Ω
Percy and Annabeth were back at home, which was currently the Blofis apartment, and they were enjoying every minute of it. With his sister Estelle around, there was always something to do. Percy absolutely adored his sister. There was nothing he wouldn't do for her. Just another side effect of his fatal flaw.
He hadn't told his mother or Paul what had happened during their trip, not wanting to worry them, but he had given Annabeth the simple explanation when he got back. He made sure to stress that he had been discreet, so she had eventually given up the interrogation. That's why it was such a surprise when they were sent a visitor not a week later.
When it happened, Percy was playing with Estelle in the living room while Annabeth studied in their room. Even though she had graduated from high school early, and they weren't due to start at New Rome University for several months, she insisted on keeping up with her studies. He, on the other hand, couldn't have cared less about school. The only reason he was going to college was so he could stay near Annabeth.
Sally was cooking lunch in the kitchen, and Paul was at work. There wasn't much the man could do for the case of Percy's expulsion from Goode, but he still worked there as an English teacher. And Percy used the powers of being a savior of Olympus to get a diploma for himself from the gods anyway. Annabeth still made him study sometimes, but he figured it was the least he could do after practically giving his girlfriend a heart attack when he announced he wasn't planning on finishing mortal high school.
Just as he was about to let Estelle win their game of cars, there was a knock at the door. Since his mother was closer to it, Percy didn't feel the need to interrupt his playtime with his baby sister. A year ago, Percy would have bolted to the door to make sure it wasn't a monster, but ever since the end of the Giant War, monsters tended to steer clear of the smell of the sea. Besides Kelli, of course. She was a perpetual nuisance for Percy.
And just as he was about to make his car lose, his mother called him, "Percy! There's someone at the door for you."
He was immediately on alert. The way his mom's voice sounded made it seem like she was trying to warn him, so his mind went straight down monster lane. Gripping Riptide in his pocket, Percy made his way to the front door, trying to act casual, but his muscles were tensed for battle.
"Coming, Mom!" he answered.
What he found was certainly not what he was expecting. Sure, it wouldn't have been a surprise to find that it wasn't obviously a monster, but his eyes weren't completely masked by the Mist. He could still tell when in the presence of something related to the divine, and he most-certainly was not in that moment.
As he got to the door, he noticed that his mom had positioned her body to block the entrance to the apartment. So not a monster, but possibly a threat, he concluded.
"Who's this?" he asked his mom, taking her place in front of the doorway.
"I'm Agent Hill with the FBI, and I have a few questions to ask. Would it be alright if we stepped inside?" the woman introduced herself, flashing a badge.
Percy wished he could have checked the badge's authentication, but his dyslexia prohibited that. He did his best to keep a cool persona as he acted like he could actually read what was on the badge. Given that his mother hadn't made any protests, he passed it off as good enough.
He narrowed his eyes at the agent, assessing her threat level quickly before deciding that saying 'no' would cause more trouble than saying 'yes' and answering with a simple, "Sure."
He and his mom backed away and let the women enter before shutting the door behind them. As the woman walked inside, Percy and his mom shared a silent conversation. He told her to take Estelle to her room and stay with her after alerting Annabeth of their visitor. He was sure that his girlfriend had already figured it out, but better to be safe than sorry.
"Take a seat. Do you want anything to drink?" Percy gestured to the kitchen table and went to grab glasses out of the cupboard.
The woman took a seat before saying, "Some water would be great, thank you."
Percy mentally noted that the woman was keeping a professional front while trying to still be friendly.
After he had gotten the water and sat himself down across from Agent Hill, he said, "You said you wanted to ask some questions. I'm not sure why, though. I haven't done anything."
Hill took a sip of her water before responding, "Well, we are just going over some of our older files and wanted to fill in some blanks on yours. For instance, where were you when you disappeared? We have a record saying you were spotted in Greece."
Percy had been prepared for this question. Annabeth had ingrained it in his head after he had run into his old swim team and had fumbled over an answer. After that, Annabeth had come up with a whole explanation for what seemed like every possible question out there.
So, he quickly answered, "I was with my dad."
He had been told that it was best to answer with short sentences. That way there was less room for confusion. Honestly, he was surprising himself with the calmness he exhibited. Annabeth had suspected he would end up needing her to rescue him if the need for these explanations ever arose.
"I thought you didn't know who your dad was," Hill countered smoothly, gaze becoming almost snake-like.
"We recently connected. He lives in Greece," Percy said.
Out of the corner of his eye, he could make out some blond curls peeking out from the edge of the hallway leading to the bedrooms. His mind let out a sigh at the knowledge that his Wise Girl was here to save him from whatever inevitable mistake he made.
"Ok, then could you please inform me of his name?" Hill asked, "And then maybe we could travel somewhere more private for the rest of my questions."
She could tell that they were being spied on, then. That seemed like a little above the average skill-level of an FBI agent to Percy, but he was just basing his thoughts off of movies, so he wasn't too sure.
Whatever the case, there was no way that he was going to go anywhere with Agent Hill. Here at home, he was on his turf. Wherever he was taken would be unknown territory, and it was common sense to not go into there.
Trying to dodge the name question, he said, "I'm not going anywhere with you without a warrant. I have rights, you know."
He was just saying what sounded right. Honestly, he had slept through US History. He barely knew who the first president was, let alone his constitutional rights.
"Those are irrelevant with probable cause, and we're only going to ask some more questions. I promise that if you come calmly, there will be no record of it anywhere," Hill said, standing up and brushing off invisible dirt from her clothes.
Percy thought about it, he really did...for a whole three seconds. I mean, what would one expect from the most irrational person on the planet?
"Yeah...sorry but I'm not going anywhere with you, especially not calmly," he said, standing up and reaching into his pocket again.
Even though he knew that the Agent was a mortal, and that Riptide would be useless in a fight against her, he still had an instinct to go for his most-trusted weapon when endangered. And in the moment, he felt extremely endangered.
Hill seemed to be trying to inconspicuously reach for her gun, but he saw it. His ADHD had kicked into overdrive, and he was noticing every little movement the woman made. ADHD could come in handy sometimes.
"Mr. Jackson, I highly suggest you stand down and let me take you in. I don't want this to get messy," Hill said smoothly, holding a hand out in a placating gesture.
"Too bad everything I do gets messy," Percy said, trying to simply swipe Agent Hill's legs out from under her, but she jumped over it and threw a punch to his temple, which is swiftly dodged.
Percy may have been taught to never hit girls when he was younger, but when he became a demigod, he learned that a threat could come from anywhere, and more often than not, it came from the female gender (or something resembling a female).
His signature troublemaker smirk made its way onto his face when he realized that this fight was actually something he had to work for. He wasn't arrogant persay, but he knew what he had defeated before, and a simple mortal isn't usually a comparison to them. But he knew better than to underestimate any opponent. Annabeth taught him that one. Speaking of Annabeth, she was still hiding behind the wall, probably waiting until the prime moment to strike. Always the strategist!
Hill and Percy's fight become a fluid motion. Sometimes they got a hit in, but most of the time it was a game of defend and retaliate. Nobody had the upper hand...yet.
Percy may be better at swordsmanship, but it wasn't like he was completely ignorant to hand-to-hand combat. He knew some stuff, including how to feint and attack. Blame Luke for that one.
So, Percy used the technique. He wasn't actually expecting it to work, considering the obvious skill level of the agent he was fighting, but maybe a simple trick was just the thing he needed to knock her off her game. Even so, when he feinted a punch to her temple, just to pull back and knee her in the stomach, he didn't stop in shock. He let his adrenaline guide him into pulling the woman into a headlock that even Tyson, with all his cyclops strength, would have trouble getting out of.
Hill pulled at his arm a couple times before giving up on that strategy and trying another one: talking, "You know, Perseus, this little display makes it really hard for me to believe you're innocent. In case you haven't noticed, you're holding a federal agent in a headlock."
Percy grip barely loosened, but his determination to defy the agent's questions lessened. She was right. What makes her think that he's one of the good guys if he fought another one of them? Nothing, that's what. Because of this, he let out a large sigh, making eye contact with Annabeth (who's eyes widened in realization and shock), and released Agent Hill. He knew that she had manipulated her, but he also knew that what she had said was true.
As soon as Hill was out of his hold, she turned around while simultaneously pulling her gun out and pointing it at Percy, chest heaving for breath, "Don't move! Get on your knees and put your hands behind your head."
Percy complied, but he could see Annabeth finally slipping into the light, ready to fight off the woman arresting her boyfriend. He met her eyes and tried to convey his thoughts, but she ignored him, instead opting to go ballistic on Agent Hill.
"What do you think you're doing?! Let him go!" she yelled and grabbed Percy as Hill cuffed Percy with some seriously high-tech handcuffs and tried to pull him to his feet.
Hill kept a steel face as she shoved Percy towards the door, "He assaulted a federal agent. I have probable cause."
All of the noise had pulled Sally out of her hiding spot in her daughter's room. Once she saw what was happening, she joined Annabeth in protest. Percy just really wanted them to let it happen. Better it be him than anyone else.
"Mom, Annabeth, let me go. I'll be fine, I promise." Percy said, eyes pleading as they reached the front door.
Annabeth scoffed, eyebrows furrowing, "Like that means anything!"
"Mom, let me go. I'll be fine," After saying that to his mother, Percy turned to Annabeth, "Tell my cousins what's going on. They can help."
He prayed that she understood what he was trying to say. He wanted her to tell their demigod friend's what happened to him, and then they could help her with whatever plan she comes up with. Knowing Annabeth, she already had a plan, though, so there was no doubt in his mind that she had understood what he was insinuating.
Annabeth hesitated before giving him a curt nod. Hill took that as her signal to tug him out the door, but before he was completely gone, Annabeth grabbed his face in her hands and gave him a kiss. They were deepening it as the Agent once again pulled him away. Annabeth and his mom's worried faces followed him until he was inside the elevator, heading down to the lobby.
On the ride down, his entire body tensed up as flashbacks from the Doors of Death shot through his mind. Usually, he could push them away when Annabeth was there with him, but the stress of the previous hour was weighing on his mind, so it became difficult. Hill seemed to think that he was going to try to resist again, so she pulled out her gun again, aiming at his side. For the first time, Percy noticed that the gun looked a little odd; it was glowing blue. Then, before he could react, Hill pulled the trigger and the last thing Percy saw before he blacked out was blue liquid seeping out of his side.
