I know we all love joking about all the Spock "freak out" episodes, because the only reason you give a TV character stoicism is to very immediately make them laugh and cry for cheap thrills. And yes, okay, we all love it.

But in "The Naked Time"...they completely shatter Spock's brain.

Like everyone else is goofy or violent or horny, like they're drunk. But Spock defines himself as the guy who is in control when no one else can be. And he just melts into a puddle here. And they take TIME with this.

This man's entire sense of self is flushed down the Space toilet because of this stupid water-borne prionic protein whatever-the-fuck. And Nimoy sells the shit out of it. Spock is NOT okay.

...And, yes, okay, we all love it.
