The Literary-Theatrical Sheridans, and the Line That Leads to Le Fanu
I re-read the Dover edition above recently in preparation for the Halloween season, but it emerges that the post in question will treat not only of its author but his esteemed ancestor. I had no idea that Gothic horror author Sheridan Le Fanu and waggish playwright and politician Richard Brinsley Sheridan were related until recently, but indeed they are. October 30 is the elder Sheridan’s…

I'm always so amused by how frothingly horny the bg3 fic fandom is
I thought Kinktober would've quelled the starving hordes, but instead it's almost as if the constant smut has made them crave more (gasp)
There really is no rest for the wicked

My Frankenstein Kick
So I'm on a Frankenstein kick, and it's because I'm working on another Second Life game: this one's an adaptation of Frankenstein, where the Creature and his creator awaken in the depths of Drac's castle (mostly because I only have that space to work with) and the cycle of science and suffering begins anew...

It will be live sometime within the next few days, I struggled to get it done for October being a solo game dev making this insane narrative game with the mesh models, textures, animations, sound effects, coding/scripting and voice acting (!) within a matter of about two months.
The result though is something I'm insanely proud of! And if it's not ready when you log in, check out my Dracula and Carmilla narrative experience games which are already available!
See you in the lab... 🌩️🌩️

#OTD in Irish History | 7 February:
1873 – Death of journalist, novelist, and short story writer, Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu, in Dublin. He is often called the father of the modern ghost story. Although Le Fanu was one of the most popular writers of the Victorian era, he is not so widely read anymore. His best-known works include Uncle Silas (1864), a suspense story, and The House by the Churchyard (1863), a murder mystery. His…

Read Carmilla by J. Sheridan LeFanu, it has:
-lesbians
-vampires
Yeah that's all but it's great, and it was so gay omg, the only way it was able to get publish (it came out like 26 years before Dracula by Bram Stoker btw) was because Laura (main character) referred to Carmilla as her 'dear friend's or 'the pretty lady
It's really funny cause Carmilla straight out calls Laura 'darling' and 'dearest' and us always putting her hands around Laura's waist so super fruity

Really, the best part is that in the novel this is an explicit rule that vampires have to abide by:
Tumblr media
So the real question is, how did she come to Millarca before Carmilla?
Honestly can’t stop laughing at how half assed Carmilla was about changing her identity. Like first she was Mircalla and then she was like “nvm my name is uhhhhh…Millarca. Yeah. That sounds right” and then years later “fuck it my names Carmilla, none of these bozos have caught on yet.”

ABOUT - LEV LeFANU (SENKO NO RONDE DUO/2)
Tumblr media
CHARACTER DETAIL-
One of the game's poster-boys, as well as being the first to appear in the multi-faceted STORY MODE.
A teenage boy who can't really remember much aside from his name and love for piloting. He wishes to one day remember things again... Despite all of that, he shows to become a great friend to his colleagues later on. Nothing seems to stop this peppy, carefree boy aside from his rather short fuse from not understanding some things.
PILOT OF: VAZZMER rounder
Original CV: Tsubasa Yonaga
New CV: Daiki Yamashita
HOW TO PLAY-
Lev's gameplay is pretty straightfoward and easy to pick up for beginner players. He has excellent options for both close and ranged attacks. He can move around with his neutral special, and use it to deal chip damage. Dash Sub shot is excellent as a poking tool if it lands. He has a good amount of movement speed that isn't too fast or too slow. Lev's BOSS can be formidable to face against in matches though!
INPUTS-
M- Gattling gun
S- Jelly gun
C- "JELLY RIBBON"*
*Press the C button while active to create chip barrage.
←→C- "TRIGGER HAPPY"
FC C "PARTYCRACKER"
---
