- MUN STUFF: My name's Kew! She/they, well over 21. No triggers. I don't have DID, any attempt to portray it is based on the show/comics. I only speak English fluently and any other language will be google translate. Please forgive any mistakes!

- MINORS BE WARNED: I'm not going to be super strict about weeding out minors since I don't expect things to get NSFW around here, but the show Khonshu is from does explore some darker themes for a TV-14 show. I dunno. You've been warned.

- GENERAL RP ETIQUETTE APPLIES: Don't make actions for my character without asking, don't assume past relationships/deep history without asking, don't read my character's mind (unless your character is a telepath, and even then I don't know if that works on gods), etc. - GENERAL CONTENT WARNING FOR: Descriptions of violence, religious stuff, swearing, emotional manipulation, a.bleism (especially surrounding mental health stuff.) I’ll try to tag other things as they come up. - FEEL FREE TO REBLOG MEMES FROM ME. It actually helps me remember to send stuff out. You can also reblog art/headcanons, pretty much anything except RP threads if you're not the other party!

- NOT PRIVATE, BUT SELECTIVE: I sometimes don't follow big multimuses back since I have pretty strict tastes in fandoms, and I don't want to clog my dash with characters I don't know. That doesn't mean I don't want to roleplay with you though! As for selectivity, I reserve the right to say no if things just don't click writing-wise.

- SPOILERS FOR MOON KNIGHT EVERYWHERE. There will be untagged spoilers for both the comics and especially the show. I highly recommend watching the Moon Knight TV show if you haven’t seen it! It got me into comic books and made me interested in the MCU. - That said, I haven’t seen all of the content in the MCU, not even a third of it, so I’m sorry if I get any lore details wrong.

- KHONSHU IS AN ASSHOLE. Nothing he says reflects my real views about anything. If he’s mean to you, it doesn’t mean I don’t like you or you’ve done something wrong.

- FOR OTHER MARC/STEVEN/JAKE MUSES: By default, I'll play Khonshu like he's connected to your Marc/Steven/Jake. If you want it to be dimension-hopping shenanigans (which I'm super down to do, especially for ones more heavily based on the comics) you'll have to let me know! All these interactions will be on different verses, and I don't plan to have Khonshu be 'mains' with any muses.

- FIGHTS: With extremely rare exceptions, I'm just gonna say no to fight threads with Khonshu. Partly because he's incorporeal and really can't be hurt or hurt anyone else directly. Mostly because fighting other muses has always stressed me out. If it's something you really want to do, we can talk about it. (This doesn't mean your character can't attack Khonshu ever, it just means it probably won't work.)

NAME: Khonshu OTHER NAMES: Chons, Bloody pigeon, Silly old bird (He accepts none of those) PRONOUNS: He/him HEIGHT: Varies, usually around 8-10 feet tall. WEIGHT: N/A (Incorporeal, like a ghost) AGE: Has existed since the dawn of time, so who knows.

- KHONSHU is the Egyptian god of the moon, vengeance, healing and time, among other smaller things. While he is enormously powerful in theory, he’s mostly unable to affect the physical world without use of a mortal AVATAR, dubbed his MOON KNIGHT. Those who agree to be his Avatar are granted superpowers and near-invulnerability, in exchange for agreeing to carry out his mission: Bringing vengeance against those who harm his travelers of the night.

- Khonshu is also somehow a billions-year-old grumpy baby who flips over trash cans when he doesn’t get his way.

- By default, Khonshu's current Avatar is JAKE LOCKLEY, and only Jake Lockley. But, he can also be played before the events of the show, when he (technically) has the triple threat of Jake Lockley, MARC SPECTOR, and STEVEN GRANT.

- Jake will make occasional cameos on this blog, but I wouldn't call this a dual muse. (You can request him in asks if you want.)

- Normally, only his Avatar (or Avatars of other gods) are capable of seeing/hearing Khonshu, but let’s say this blog is a holy space where he can answer your prayers questions. (In threads, we can always BS a reason your character can see Khonshu.)

- This Khonshu is HEAVILY BASED ON THE TV SHOW, which means he lacks a lot of the harsher history his comic book counterpart has. That said, as a god, he is aware of the multiverse and has at least a rough idea of what his counterparts are up to. You can ask about comic stuff, he just might have a different opinion.

- Some comic lore has been added/built upon, namely his fraught history with his father, AMON-RA. (This probably won’t come up much, but it does inform a lot of how I play the character.)

ㅤㅤwings. on one’s head. that was new. and fascinating. the caeling couldn’t help but fixate his golden gaze on those greyish feathers, unconsciously stepping closer to the stranger as he observed the subtle upward shiftings. winged beings were surprisingly sparse in the cosmos, and he’d never met anyone like the man standing before him. he wasn’t a bird, was he? he had no visible beak. and he couldn’t be a klavi’yn, either, since there was no lava coming out of his mouth… oh, his wings flapped! what was the word mortals used to describe what gave them warmth in their stomachs to the point they wanted to giggle and squeeze their object of interest again? ah, right. adorable.

Layla hadn't realized immediately what a bad idea it was for her to be out alone. Renting a cabin with some friends had sounded like a fun weekend getaway, and it had been, up until a snow storm knocked out their power. She'd gone out alone to restart the generator, and that had been fine. She was bundled up against the cold, she'd managed to get it going, and everything would be okay. That was more than an hour ago, although it was difficult to tell how much time had passed in the swirling snow.

She must have gotten turned around because the cabin was nowhere in sight, but by the time she realized it and turned around, she'd lost all sense of where she was. The snow was deep, and walking had become difficult even with her boots. She'd tried calling out, but the wind snatched her voice and hurled it away. Now that night had fallen, she could barely see a foot in front of her face. "Hello? Someone, please help!" she called out. Her shivers were starting to subside, and distantly she knew that was a bad sign.

At first, she thought she was imagining the tall, dark-haired woman who appeared out of the snow. Even when her arm wrapped around her to steady her, she wasn't convinced it was real. Perhaps she'd already lain down in the snow and fallen asleep, and this was just her mind's way of trying to comfort her as she froze. That was horrifying enough to send a jolt of adrenaline through her. "Are you-- Who are you?"

Pairing Layla, whether platonically, romantically, or familialy with self-sacrificial muses is actually really interesting.

You have a girl who has been doing so much through her entire life to be able to live. She deep down wants only two things; to live rather than merely survive, and a genuine connection with another person.

I've said there's a chance that when Layla gets close to someone it can turn out a bit unhealthy to the point Layla may get a bit self-sacrificial because she can't bear losing them, but I don't think that's quite right.

Layla doesn't have a clue what a healthy human connection is supposed to be like, no. But I think more than anything she will fight so she can stay with the person. So they can remain together. So she and them both can live.

She's a cynical, pessimistic, jaded girl who's been betrayed and used and then tossed like garbage, who's gone above and beyond to earn the love of others but never could be good enough for them.

But in the end, she's a compassionate, stubborn girl who is insanely loyal to those who earn her trust, and isn't the sort to ever accept a reality of 'It's you or them'.

She isn't going to just die after fighting so hard to survive. And she isn't going to let go of the one she cares about after previously living a lonely and hollow existence all by herself.

She will grab her loved one and refuse to let them go. They will not be sacrificing themselves, and at that point, she'd rather try to reach for the reality where they can remain together even if they die trying.

Oh, and they don't get to tell her 'No, I'm going to go die so you can live, this is for the greater good,' she will slap them then drag them. It doesn't matter if you're like a sibling to her, a parent, a lover.

She's not letting you go. Never, ever, so long as she can do something about it, and she WILL try to do something about it.

Layla was calmly flying around Ultra Space as she read the text message again. Even though the physical barrier was no more, she worried that the mental barrier of communication between herself and the world that she was interested in would be difficult to penetrate. However, thanks to Mai, she finally had the faith to see this strange world for herself.

Layla chuckled as she thought of her first encounter with the River Styx... the domain of Athena and Mai. She felt a sense of Deja Vu, as it was that world as well where she had the same worry become dissuaded rather quickly.

Hopefully she'll get along with the residents here just as quickly.

With the accepted invitation, Layla could now use that acceptance as a beacon. She immediately teleported...

...and found her way in the Hall of Origin's kitchen.

"Huh? Is that the girl that you mentioned?"

"Layla! It's so good to see you again!" Mai got up and hugged her friend. "The Acting-Arceus of this world stepped out for a moment but she'll be back soon."

"Hey Mai. It's good to see you here." Layla hugged back. "Yeah, that's fine. I have time, so I can wait."
