that feeling when you realize you embarrassed yourself in front of someone famous without even knowing who they were....😳

[David]: Don’t sweat it too much, Junior. You’ll get the hang of it.
[Noah]: Yeah, it just seems like a lot because you’re new.
[Royce]: Everyone here more or less grew up together, so that’s what makes it a bit complicated.
[David]: ...Great.
[Noah]: Oh!
[Noah]: Angie’s here, hang on guys.
[Noah]: Hey!
[Junior]: Angie?
[David]: Angela Ward, mom’s a big movie star. She was a child actor too. Did that one show, uhh, Empty House?
[Royce]: And that’s Irene Laurent.
[David]: They’ve been close since Angela’s mom bought that summer house in Tartosa. Ugh.
[Royce]: Doesn’t Angela go by Haukeland now?
[David]: What — I don’t know.

How have you seen [Esteban] evolve both as a driver and as a person in the time that you’ve known him?
Well there’s no mystery about the fact that we very quickly tried to make Esteban feel comfortable in the team. Because Esteban was, what’s remarkable about this boy is that he’s never had an easy, linear, path. Every single year almost, he was told that’s it, that’s over, that’s the end of the road with us and you need to find another gig next year. Which is super difficult especially in a career like that, you need a bit of a runway right? You need to feel comfortable about the fact that you can drive for a while and you can actually make this job your job for real. Not just a hobby […] And it’s never ever been easy for him. Like, really.
And so, irrespective of that, I also knew that this boy, has been successful in all categories, has been racing against Max, Charles, everyone that is top driver today. And like, he’s beat them over time. In the past, so I’m like, he has some potential - let us put him a more comfortable zone, not fully comfortable. Because he needs to be on his toes all the time, that’s important. But let us see what he has in store, if we give him the environment, a bit of peace of mind.
So that’s why we decided to bet on him for three years. And give him a bit of a runway, also because back then to be honest, no one wanted to come to Alpine, let’s be clear. So it was as good as driver as we can get. And I’ve always said, Esteban, at the very least, is a very good second driver. Everyone interpreted that in different ways, but when I said that it was like…There is no one and two at Ferrari, but I’m pretty sure a lot of people think there’s a two. There’s no one and two at Mercedes, and that’s hard to figure out whose the two there to be honest. And, I think Esteban would be one of those two, whichever person you would pick in both of those teams. That’s what I meant by that, like…
When you gave him that runway, that comfort, did you see a change in him?
Yes I did absolutely.
What was the change?
Well he started like, driving more efficiently and putting things together for the long term. Not trying to impress everyone at every race, which is a very different thing. Because he was taking inconsiderate risks and physically driving, perhaps without knowing, with a fear that he had to potentially lose his seat, on that race. So, basically it was different. And I told him, the thing is, you need to grow. Like, grow up. Like in many ways. And grow the team with yourself. That means you need to be more of a strategic driver and a leader. Which is extremely different from just being a super fast, cool boy. That’s a different, different story. I need you to exhibit the qualities that might make you one day, a world champion. Which is something different than just racing fast...

Alain Prost admits he is 'saddened and distressed' by the turmoil at Alpine and insists the team's axed CEO Laurent Rossi was 'incompetent' and 'lacked humanity'
Alain Prost admits he is 'saddened and distressed' by the turmoil at Alpine and insists the team's axed CEO Laurent Rossi was 'incompetent' and 'lacked humanity' Prost has criticised Relault-owned team Alpine and their former CEO Rossi After working as team director, Prost left his role in 2021 after a falling out  He has admitted he is 'saddened and distressed' by the state of things at Alpine By Nick Emms For Mailonline Updated: 11:54 EDT, 29 July 2023 Alain Prost has criticised Renault-owned team Alpine, stating that the former CEO Laurent Rossi was incompetent and lacked humanity. The four-time champion was part of the Alpine F1 team as a director until 2021, before his departure was announced. Speaking to French newspaper L'Equipe, as transcribed by BBC Sport, Prost criticised Rossi. 'Laurent Rossi is the finest example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect, that of an incapable leader who thinks he can overcome his incompetence by his arrogance and his lack of humanity towards his troops,' he said.  'He thought that he had understood everything from the start, when he was totally mistaken.' Alain Prost has criticised Renault-owned team Alpine and their former CEO Laurent Rossi The CEO was described as 'lacking humanity' and being 'incompetent' by Prost Alpine F1 are struggling to compete with their competitors, including Prost's Red Bull Prost, who had a falling out with Rossi in 2021, leading to his departure from Alpine, continued to discuss his time with the Renault-owned team. He continued: 'During my years at Renault, how many times have I heard in the corridors of the headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt, that F1 was a simple sport that could be run from home by men in place. 'Big mistake, as proven by the last of the leaders Laurent Rossi, from whom (Renault chief executive officer) Luca de Meo separated a week ago.' Prost continued to reveal that he is upset by the current state of affairs at the team, as he admitted: 'I love this team and seeing it in this state today saddens and distresses me.'  Now employed by Red Bull, Prost has proven his worth after an unsuccessful spell with Alpine under Rossi's stewardship.  The interview was finalised with Prost being asked why Alpine are not able to make the same progress as their competitors. The 68-year-old refused to comment, saying: 'I don't have anything at all about that. I cannot comment on that.'
