At a high-energy 'Make America Great Again Victory Rally' in Washington, DC, President-elect Donald Trump reaffirmed his campaign’s bold promises, declaring his first day in office would usher in sweeping immigration reforms. "By the time the sun sets tomorrow, the invasion of our country will have come to a halt," he stated to a roaring crowd.
Trump vowed to launch the largest deportation effort in U.S. history, repeal Biden-era executive orders, and address critical national challenges with "historic speed and strength." Beyond immigration, he pledged to revamp the military, implement a missile defense shield, and declassify key historical assassination files.

Archaeologists in Denmark Find 50 Viking Skeletons
Archaeologists in Denmark found a big Viking era-burial site with 50 well-preserved skeletons. These skeletons provided information about the lives of the Vikings, who were famous for sailing long distances in the Middle Ages. The skeletons were found near Odense, Denmark's third-largest city. They were protected from rotting because of high water levels and good soil conditions. They also discovered rare items like knives, glass pearls, and brooches from the years 850 to 970. According to the excavationists, most of the people buried were farmers, but one woman of higher status had a special silver knife and a piece of rare glass with her. The archaeologists took soil samples to look for pollen, which can show what season the person was buried in and what they might have worn.

President-elect Donald Trump is set to exert unprecedented control over the federal government, launching bold plans to dismantle the so-called "deep state." On his first day, Trump may sign an executive order stripping job protections from 50,000 career federal employees, clearing the way for handpicked loyalists.
His administration aims to fill thousands of political appointments swiftly, embedding allies deep within the government. Early moves, including the resignation requests for senior State Department diplomats, signal sweeping changes ahead. Trump and his team are determined to overcome bureaucratic resistance, reshaping the federal workforce to align with his agenda like never before.
