i know it was a good selfless thing at the time to donate my childhood toys, a decision i made as a teenager. but as an adult now, i regret doing that. i miss playing with my toys and i still search for people selling some of the ones i had, but they're either way too expensive or were already sold.

playing with the free love mod is really making me realize how bland a lot of the marriage dialogue is for the base game stardew characters cuz now i have other modded characters in my home to directly compare them to.

like, shiro and jeric from ridgeside will always have a couple lines based on their personality or story up to that point. like yes they’ll repeat lines but most everything they say is still interesting.

meanwhile sam will sometimes just be like “what’s on your agenda today?” and that’s it. like some of their lines will be a bit more fun and flavorful but i still think on average the base game characters have it way worse and have lost a lot of personality once i marry them.

#stardew valley #ridgeside village #i also noticed this with lance when i married him last time #i think it helps in the case of jeric and lance that they had shit to do still once i marry them #like what the hell are alex or sebastian or sam gonna do once i marry them and they move in #idk i think it would be cool if you saw sebastian on his laptop doing his coding work here and there #and for sam to actually pick up his guitar and play it #stuff like that so it doesn’t feel like they’re just accessories for my big gay harem house
