It's a SHOCK to feel a snowball shatter against her head, and she ALMOST slips from how it throws her off-balanced. Luckily she manages to catch herself BEFORE that can potentially happen. It's still cold though, clinging to her face and her dark strands of hair while smaller clumps fall against her neck.

At least with the colder weather, Hatter's allowed some ADJUSTMENTS to the whole Beach attire rule that he'd had in place. Probably more because he was also cold rather than anything practical. Beachwear was fine during the heat - but the SUDDEN CHANGE in temperature called for adjustments. As if death games weren't enough. But for now, her focus is on the other executive. As if people like Niragi weren't enough to have to deal with.

It's actually rather NICE to see people having fun. She just doesn't find it as easy to indulge in as some like Gojo seem to. Maybe it was because she put more weight on the general populace's lives than most of the others here did.

i feel like sharing some of my haladriel hot takes.

disclaimer: i think the fandom's popular wishes and opinions are valid! it's just that some of my personal preferences differ a bit and i simply want to share!

first of all, listen, we need more freaks in haladriel fandom, i'm sorry, i have to speak my truth!

bc we have a literal haladriel yuri seflcest in the show yet no one goes as insane for it as they should, imo!!!

also, i have a confession. what initially attracted me to haladriel was that galadriel is madly obsessed with taking revenge on sauron whom she perceives as this evil incarnate that she is destined to slay like he is a serpent from hell. yet this aspect of their relationship feels to be forgotten. the whole fandom seems to be altogether stuck in their "halbrand" era dynamic.

another pretty hot take, while everyone seems to want galadriel to realize her feelings for sauron and soften towards him and seduce him, i want her pre-halbrand anger at sauron, her repulsion and abhorrence of him, her hatred to TENFOLD. yeah, ofc i want underneath it all to be a pent-up desire, but to me personally, the outward antagonism and the inward denial would make the undercurrents of desire much more intense and interesting. and her succumbing for a moment (even to her own power as a metaphor for succumbing to him) would feel a lot more satisfying after her abhorring him with her entire being. to me!!!

like, the idea of galadriel rather committing suicide than succumbing to sauron while he, her fated arch-enemy, is desperate to have her? chief's kiss!

and i like that he sees her as his equal, as his only worthy adversary. he doesn't want to tame her or turn her into a tradwife, he wants her as his ally. he is as much attracted to her for her power and ambition as for her light. i think her continuously managing to resist him and her willpower growing stronger make him respect her more, deep down.

like, i would LOVE their push-pull to be extreme. give me sauron obsessively groping to possess galadriel, his worship turning poisonous, and galadriel obsessively opposing and trying to slay sauron!!! I WANT THEM DERANGED!!!

another thing, i don't think their dynamic is about galadriel "fixing" sauron, i think it is about sauron "healing" galadriel. (sauron wishing to heal galadriel + galadriel jumping to her death? a formula for some nurse-patient roleplay. just saying.)

finally, i like gal's sparkly dresses but i need them to put her in a shiny warrior armour again!!!
