Interesting Facts about the Much Popular Hawaii Islands

Hawaii Islands comprises of eight islands that make up the island-state. From this eight island, only six are open to visitors which include Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, and Hawaii.  It's very easy to get a move from one place to another and you can get flights from Hawaii Islands on any of the three inter-island carriers that serve the Aloha State.

A Brief about Oahu

The most popular island is Oahu where you will find the capital of the state, Honolulu.  This island is said to be home to one of the most famous beaches in the world termed as Waikiki. One of the most populated of all the Hawaiian Islands which created over 4 million years ago. It is an island paradise that offers a wide range of activities, which blends old traditional Hawaii with the hustle and bustle of a contemporary city.  Honolulu is one of the largest cities on the Hawaiian Islands and the Waikiki area is very popular and often crowded; however, there are many areas on Oahu that will leave one wanting to return again and again. Oahu is a foodie paradise. There are hundreds of restaurants in Waikiki and other areas of Honolulu. There are world-class restaurants. There are inexpensive restaurants. Cuisine from the entire world can be found on the island.

Big Island and the Kona-Kohala Coast

The Hawaii Islands is endearingly alluded to as the Big Island since it is so huge, and it's continually developing from the dynamic magma stream of the Kilauea Volcano.
