Gift Care and Connection with Kizuna — Kizuna Care
The holidays are a time for families to come together, share memories, and celebrate the joy of being with loved ones. It’s a season filled with warmth, giving, and togetherness. But as the festivities unfold, something else becomes clear: many families begin to notice that their loved ones need more care and support than ever before. Whether it’s an elderly relative struggling with mobility, a parent who needs help with daily tasks, or a family member facing health challenges, the reality of caregiving often surfaces during this time.
Christmas has a way of highlighting the bonds we share with those closest to us — and also the gaps in care and support that can sometimes exist. For many families, this realization can come with a sense of urgency. How do you ensure that your loved ones are safe, healthy, and cared for when you can’t always be there to provide that care yourself? That’s where Kizuna can help.
At Kizuna, we believe that caregiving should be an extension of the love and support that families already provide. This Christmas, let us help you make sure your loved ones get the care they deserve. Whether it’s finding the right caregiver or offering you peace of mind, Kizuna connects families with experienced, compassionate caregivers who can support your family members in their time of need.
The Holiday Season: A Time for Family, A Time for Reflection
The holiday season is a special time for reflection. As we gather around the dinner table, exchange gifts, and share stories, we are reminded of what truly matters: the people we love and cherish. It’s a time to reconnect and make lasting memories. However, the holidays can also bring to light the needs of family members who may be facing challenges with their health, mobility, or daily routines.
For many families, the holiday season is when they realize that a loved one may need more help than they can provide alone. Whether it’s noticing a parent’s struggle to move around the house or realizing that a grandparent is no longer able to manage their personal care without assistance, these moments of awareness can be overwhelming. It’s hard to balance the excitement and joy of the season with the realization that a loved one may require additional care and support.

The Importance of Quality Caregiving During the Holidays
For families facing the challenge of caregiving, the holidays can be particularly difficult. There’s a certain expectation that everything should be perfect — holiday dinners, decorations, and family activities. But for many families, the reality is that caregiving adds layers of stress and responsibility. Family members often feel torn between enjoying the holidays and ensuring that their loved ones are properly cared for.
Quality caregiving goes beyond simply providing assistance with daily tasks. It’s about offering the right type of support tailored to each individual’s needs, creating an environment of trust, respect, and comfort. As people age or face health challenges, they need someone who can not only help with personal care but also provide emotional support, companionship, and a sense of dignity.
Kizuna understands the unique needs of families during this time, and our platform makes it easy to connect with trusted caregivers who can provide the necessary care. Whether it’s short-term support during the holidays or long-term caregiving solutions, Kizuna is here to help families find the right fit for their loved ones.
How Kizuna Can Make a Difference for Your Family

With Kizuna, you can filter caregiver profiles based on specific skills and expertise, ensuring that your loved one gets the right care.
2. Convenience and Accessibility
Finding the right caregiver shouldn’t be another stressor during the busy holiday season. Kizuna’s platform allows you to browse caregiver profiles, read reviews, and select the best fit for your family — all in one place.
You can search for caregivers based on location, availability, experience, and even personal qualities that align with your loved one’s needs.

Our platform makes it easy to book a caregiver for the exact hours needed, ensuring that your loved one receives the care they deserve without the hassle.

thinkin about the kizuna man…… anyone notice how in her profile pre-timeskip vs present day, her dislikes have changed from “the unemployed” to “being a burden”. and it’s pretty clear that she learned the whole “if you don’t work hard and have a job you’re a leech on society” attitude from her dad, but do you think he started to regret teaching her to think that way, just a bit, when she became disabled? she may have a job and an education, but she still can’t do the same things other people can, still needs more help, more time to recover…
is anyone else insane over tjis

How shall I post my current project?
I am currently translating the book "Owaranai Kizuna" by Inoue "kuma" Hideki. The first part can be found here.
Not counting fore- and afterwords, the book has five main parts, which are all divided into several short short sub-chapters. The first part, for example, has six of those. Their length varies, but can in general be compared to the length of bit already posted.
Would you like me to post each of the main parts in one longer entry, meaning very long waits while I work on them, or would you prefer if I made individual posts for all sub-chapters, which means faster updates but a lot less content at once?

Fashionably late, but here's The Boy Story and Links under Read More
Apologies for our tardiness, we got caught up in Kalim's massive birthday celebration (like always) and had to take a couple days to regain our composure, at least enough to write. This year, he wanted to make his party open to the public outside of Night Raven in order to turn it into a charity event, for both the College and for certain countries in need of assistance. He's so kind! (ignore the giant crow that reacted from hearing that).
We would like to show support to the following countries: Congo, Palestine, Puerto Rico, Sudan, West Papua, Yemen, Haiti, Hawaii, Armenia, Lebanon, Tigray and Uyghur.
If you know about any store from any of these countries or whose proceeds go to support them, please let us know so we can promote them!

Last year, there was a shitty Kizuna Ai anime whose title I won't bother to look up. I dropped it after one episode and later found out that it shilled for NFTs in episode 3. It was a disappointment for everyone without substantial cryptocurrency investments.
This season, we have VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream, an anime written, directed, and animated by people who care more about VTubers than Ethereum. (I would have assumed that would be a given for anime about VTubers, but apparently not!)
The VTuber streams are animated with all the fluidity of a Live2D model, which is to say, not much. Combined with the authentic streamer-talk and screen layout and so on, it makes the decision to portray the VTuber's meat bodies identically to their avatars stand out as a Distinct Artistic Choice. Hold on, I need to explain that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the left, we have Awayuki Kokorone's stream. On the right, we have Awayuki drinking beer in the physical room where Yuki Tanaka lives off-stream. Under certain circumstances, this could read as just taking the easiest option, maybe because they didn't trust the audience to remember that the fancy VTuber is the same person as the mousy-looking nerd girl or whatever Yuki looks like.
But the anime goes out of its way to depict the artificiality of VTuber models and so forth. When Awayuki forgets to turn off her stream and eventually falls asleep, her model doesn't fall asleep with her; it's locked in a neutral pose like you'd expect to see if a VTuber walked away for a bathroom break. (Or never turned off her streaming equipment, though that's much rarer.)
So clearly they put plenty of thought into how they'd visually depict VTubing, and recognizing that changes how you think about other aspects of how the series is directed. It feels less like the path of least resistance and more like artists making a Distinct Artistic Choice.
Am I making sense? I'm writing this post in the middle of watching anime when I should be sleeping.
I'm not very deep in the VTuber rabbit hole, but I'm enjoying this anime in large part because of how it reflects what I do know. I bet an avid VTuber otaku could get even more out of it.

Thinking about how Taichi "Tai" Yagami/Kamiya cares so much it fucking hurts him. The entire Kari situation (being her caretaker since childhood, then...failing). Living with SkullGreymon for the rest of his life (he thought only he could save everyone, only he had a Crest, it was his job to look after them). Caring so deeply that he can't find the right words and spits insensitive nonsense (he's trying to help...he's sorry). Datamon's pyramid (why couldn't he be invincible...have the power to protect everyone...just for a moment). Jumping in front of Shellmon evolving into fighting Piedmon solo (he can do this he can do this he can can can...).
And this is just Adventure, through the eyes of a child who has no fucking idea what to do a good eighty percent of the time. He needs a hug and therapy and the world.

still makes me crazy months after playing about aitsf's insane familial relationships. date who took mizuki in and raised her as his own where renju and shoko couldn't. mizuki who still loves shoko and renju dearly, but they can't provide what she needs. but she's able to find that parental love in date. hitomi who raises manaka's daughter like her own, and who means so so much to her she can't bear the thought of losing her. she'll go to great lengths to stop that from happening. mayumi who just wants the best for her son no matter how hard it is. ota who loves his mom so so much but doesn't really realize how much effort she puts in for him until her dementia's getting worse. saito who lacked the proper support system and any love or care from so sejima at all. ryuki who still can't get over his twin brother's death, like he lost his other half. komeji who's falling on hard times as a comedian but really just wants the best for his family and allows himself to get into dangerous situations for shoma's sake. shoma who, really deep down loves his dad, despite everything, but can't express that until it's too late in the true ending. bibi who cares so much about mizuki and is deeply protective of her even when mizuki's too young to really know it. kizuna who only really knew bibi for a few years as her foster sister but that time meant so much to her. shizue who took bibi in and just kinda lets her do her own thing, once she's grown. jin who was born out of an affair, and adopted by a different family, but his birth parents still going to great extremes to get rid of the tumors on his body. uru who was abandoned and kidnapped and used as a glorified organ donor, imprisoned and secluded away from the outside world, but longed for maternal love from tokiko, and resented jin for receiving the love he didn't get. tokiko who taught uru the teachings of naix out of pity. amame who's been forced to choose, forced to deal with the terrible hand she's dealt, wishing that if things had gone differently maybe her father would still be alive.
