The Moscow Mule was the sort of seedy dive bar that Kit and the members of Black Fox enjoyed going to. Moony their drummer had known Alexei, the bar owner since she was a little kid dragged here by her drunkard father and it was she who'd first secured it as a favorite performance venue. In exchange for a few performances, the band members (excluding Kit who always seemed to vanish when it got close to morning) had a place to crash upstairs and all the homemade pierogis Alexei's wife could fix them to eat. She of course thought them all very nice young folks.

Up on stage, behind an impromptu barrier of chicken wire Kit had growled his way through another satisfying window-shivering performance accompanied by his battered bass guitar. Not many patrons were frequenting the bar at this hour but he didn't much care, it really was about the music for him. He was on about his third beer and ready now for a fourth and nodded to his band members to take five as he pushed the chicken wire aside and jumped down off of stage. He swung his guitar up and over his shoulder to hang upside down from his back but neglected to notice someone behind him and in doing so promptly knocked their own drink clean out of their hand and onto the floor with a crash of glass.

He glanced indifferently behind him. " Oops, " he said in a flat voice that clearly indicated he could care less and turned his attention back to going to get another drink.
