Zelda game where you play as Ganon or Ganondorf against a possessed Link and Zelda. And the reason he's the protagonist is it ruins the game for him if he has no opposition from a hero and princess anymore. But now he has to begrudgingly be a goody two shoes to the people of Hyrule until he gets their hero and princess back to normal.

Reading loz/lu fics and it's just so interesting how wide the spectrum is of their personalities.

Sometimes it's got an in universe reason (different past (usually gender or species change), recent or ongoing traumatic events, a spectacularly bad first meeting), but sometimes (often) the characters are just... Weirdly angsty or peppy, there's no in between!

And I'm beginning to think less people have played more than one game than I thought XD.

Not that it's anyone's fault! One game is more than enough to be part of it all, and loz is exclusive to Nintendo consoles - and all the older stuff is frustratingly hard to get hold of. Heck, I'm still looking for wind waker, and that was really popular! And then you have to play it! They're not small games!!

But could people writing wild please ease off just a tiiiiiny bit so he can be a semi functional member of society pretty please XD? He's just as much a polite boy as any other member of the chain! He won't even run in shops! He can't attack npcs! He talks to every single person he's ever seen and remembers every single name. Yes, he's three quarters woodland creature with a hefty amount of trauma but he's also a fashionista who managed to avoid accidentally taking sides in a mayoral election and that's not easy!

WIP Wednesday

You sneak into Kakariko for a meal. An elderly neighbor who remembers you from before comments on how much you’ve changed. You haven’t run away in a long time. Mostly you’ve been running to. Ganon’s tower is near the final dungeon in the dark world. Zelda insists you rest first. You spend your last rupees on another set of potions. You help yourself to Ganon’s treasure hoard as you climb his tower. You arrive at the top wearing a mishmash of enchanted clothes: a red tunic over your dark green skirts and a blue cap over your blond-pink hair. You would rather look gaudy than dead. The enchantments feel like steel over your skin. The Demon King made a mistake appearing to you as Agahnim. You know exactly how to fight him, and you want to. You’ve tempered both your sword and your anger. Ganon tries to flee. He isn’t accustomed to running. He isn’t accustomed to being prey. The lantern you carried into the storm cuts through Ganon’s darkness when he tries to hide. You find the Triforce. It waits for you to make a wish. You’re exhausted. Thinking feels like wading through the swamp, but you think anyway. You think about the dark world creatures, warped by avarice. You think of the Golden Land itself, twisted by one man’s greed. Is it greedy to not want to lose anyone? You wish anyway.

My Link ocs are pretty funny actually because you have Berry Link who’s just an all-around sweet kid who’s like twelve and has six sisters and acts like it, and then there’s Lost. Who’s quiet and scary-looking and barely considers himself a hero and is pretty much the opposite of Berry there

ZELDA GETS ADOPTED (FORCEFULLY(TWICE)) AU

It happens like this:

Sonia leaves with enough money to buy groceries for the next week or so and the promise of returning in an hour. She comes home four hours later with a bedraggled 12 year old little girl by the name of Zelda, who is staring at his wife like she just sold the moon to her.

Rauru sighs and kneels down, "Where's your mother?"

"Dead." She replies with an even tone, "But my daddy and Urbosa are probably looking for me." A pause, "Urbosa is probably looking for me."

Right.
