EVERYBODY IS DROWNING

When you feel like water has sunk your ship.

When you feel like the sole survivor of the wreck.

Look around you,

Everybody is drowning too, their own weight pulling them down.

And some of us are still striving.

Kicking and flapping our tired limbs just for the hope of the next breath.

We get too busy looking for an anchor

Some invisible thread to rein us in this life

A life raft or a savior to keep us afloat

But don’t you remember you have a set of arms and legs?

Our bodies made to stay on the surface.

All you need is right there with you.

So when you get stuck or swept up by the cursing currents.

You breathe.

You swim.

With us.

We are struggling too.

Hey concept idea for a short story

I’m feeling so much better, since I decided I was going to fight for my health no matter how bad the doctors say it is! I serve a really big God! My legs were not ready for these wedges though 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

I have gained so much weight since I have not been able to move my body much, workout, or cook my own food, but I am getting back on my journey as soon as I can. I have already changed my diet and prepared food for the next few days. I am still loving all of me, I will Not hate my body just because it’s bigger now, I love me. I am enough! Watch me work!!

Replace motivation with practice and discipline and see the magic!

Motivation is temporary and hardly leads to success. Discipline and practice are real game changers. You may ask any successful person you know and they will tell you. Even I have tried seeking motivation from YouTube videos, books, authors, and people around me, but it never works. It dies down after a few days. Then you're seeking more motivation, and more and more, but always ending up where you started. It's a vicious circle and you will never find a way out. Practice and discipline, are so underrated, people don't talk about them as much. You will find thousands of motivational videos online but very few on practice and discipline. Do one thing over and over again over a sustained period of time consistently - that's it. That's all you need. There's no magic formula to be successful. You don't a brilliant IQ or a highly intelligent brain. Try and see the difference for yourself.

My dearest helianthus, such an imperfect beauty you possess

Your beauty gleams as morning rise, how can such person obsess

As tall and strong it may seem yet so dependent and fragile

Though there's more than what meets the eye, how can I be facile

Your beauty lies in vast land of bougainvillea's, how can such beauty exist

This feels like a wondrous dream and I can't seem to persist

I'm lured by your innocence eyes hence viola

I wonder if I can be like you in that field enola

I didn't know such peace can be obtained

How long has it been strelitzia? seems like it's far from being obtained

How long should I wait for your long awaited return

Every nook and corner of this world has started to burn

Tons of chrysanthemum has been offered

Yet it seems like its not enough to compensate

The end is far from over

Until then my dear, it's time for you to cross over.
