In the Bible, Joseph was betrayed and sold into slavery by his own brothers, then falsely accused and put in prison. He could have used excuse after excuse to be bitter and angry, but he had a "no excuses" mentality. He kept doing the right thing when the wrong thing was happening. And in the end, he came out vindicated, promoted, and in a place of influence and respect.
Let go of the hurts, offenses, and wounds of the past. Declare that they have no power over you. 💙
I love that Armand was super aggressive towards Daniel at the beginning of 1x05, but when he had to stop Louis from torturing Daniel, he was very polite. It was like it was important for him to be a soothing presence for Louis in that moment, so he set aside his disdain for Daniel to emotionally support his Dom, something I think he spent a lot of time doing.
I am an hour past me alarm, 30min past the time I should have left for the gym. My bag is packed, everything is ready, if I cut my workout 15min short it would work.
Or, I can make breakfast, calm down, and go to work... I would prefer the gym.
God knows every battle, every temptation, and every obstacle you will ever face. He has not only put it under your feet, but He has armed you with strength for that battle. You are a warrior, a victor and not a victim. He has already equipped you. You are full of can-do power.
