ok so i just watched the first two episodes of Koisenu Futari and before I start the third one, does anyone know of a english sub that isn't by KaizenSubs? cause those are rough..

like, if not, I can wait another year or whatever but like..oof

Okay I keep seeing other aros talk about Koisenu Futari and I've been wanting to watch it for like 2 years but I don't know where to find it and I was wondering do you know a site or anything I can see it on?

I believe KaizenSubs on twitter has a drive link with all episodes with english subtitles, they're the one who made them and I think you can find it in their caard!

i watched it subbed by KaizenSubs on twitter overlaid on the raw video. that was a year ago when it was brand new, so it should be available other places online now, but there is still no official english release

Where did you watch Koisenu Futari? I would love to watch the show myself. Seeing that clip you reblogged earlier actually made me tear up because I'd never felt seen like that before, if that makes any sense?

There is two ways! You can download the episodes here and on twitter KaizenSubs has the subtitles. But i can see how that can be difficult to find if you dont have twitter

Luckily, a tumblr user here (idmnbc) has not only been uploading spanish subtitles for the show, in this google drive they have also added the english subtitles made by KaizenSubs. You can also download the episodes there!

It's very very easy to add the subtitles to the video, like literally just opening the video in VLC media player and then dragging the subtitles file there is all you have to do, it's what i do at least

This show is wonderful, it's about two aroace main characters, the show is ABOUT being aroace, i have never felt so understood by any other piece of media. It talks about things i think about all the time and things i didn't even consider before. i'm so incredibly glad this show exists and i think everyone needs to watch it, especially if you are aspec

To anyone who wants to watch koisenu futari I watched it on viewasian.com and the English subtitles were already there but if they aren't you can go to kaizensubs on Twitter and download the subtitles and change them from an ass file to an srt file and pick one of the last two servers on viewasian.com and upload the subtiles

Hi there! Oh my gosh it's so good! I hope you enjoy it! And I am more than happy to share how I watch it! If it means more people watching, I will share as many times as I can :D

I'm gonna post this publicly. I hope that's okay. That way anyone else who wants to know can see it.

So I get the sub files from KaizenSubs on Twitter. You do have to send in a follow request but it only takes like a day tops for approval and then you can access the google drive with the sub files. Here's the link to their page.

For the video file, I get the raws from one of the following: Kaizen usually shares a link to either nyaa.si (which is a torrent site and you have to search 恋せぬふたり or it won't come up.) or jraws.com. Since I don't torrent I also found this site where I just downloaded a raw. https://href.li/?https://kissasians.org/watch/koisenu-futari-2022-episode-4/

And the lovely @etherealamoeba has very kindly offered to share a drive folder with the files for those who want! Just shoot them a message! (Link to their post about it) We are trying not to share the KaizenSub drive link directly in order to avoid it getting flagged and blocked.

Then once you've downloaded both the sub file and the raw file, open up whatever video player you use (I use either VLC or KMPlayer). Open both files and you're good to go!

A quick little VLC tutorial for if you're not sure how to do that:

Just a short how to if you need it. Once you've downloaded your files, open VLC player (I have version 3.0.16 I think). Click "Media" --> "Open Multiple Files"

Then Click "+Add" and add your video file. Then check the "Use subtitle file" and then "Browse" and add your subtitle file for the corresponding episode.

Now all you need to do is click play!

That's it! I know all that sounds complicated but I promise it's super easy! Feel free to message me if you have any questions and have fun watching!!!

羽は恋愛感情を抜きにした「家族（仮）」を、「この家に一緒に住む人」だと認識していた。たしかに、血縁関係も恋愛感情も抜きにしたふたりを結びつけているのは、この家だけ。羽の唯一の家族だった祖母が遺してくれたこの家は、家族の象徴ともいえる場所。

For Satoru, “Family (Subject to Change),” a family without romantic feelings, meant “a person to live together with in this house.” For those two with no blood relations or romantic feelings, what bound them together was indeed that house. The house that Satoru’s grandmother, his one and only family, left behind, became a place that symbolized family to him. 

しかし、咲子は「この家に縛られなくてもいいのではないか」と提案する。もちろん、咲子もこの家に愛着を持ち、これからも住み続けたい。しかし、だからといって羽がこの家から離れたら「家族（仮）」をやめなければならないなんてことはない。新天地で好きな野菜の仕事に励む、そのベストな生活を「家」や「家族」を理由に諦める必要はないのだ、と。

However, Sakuko suggested, “Isn’t it okay for us not to be bound to this house?” Sakuko, of course, has also become very fond of the house, and would like to continue living there. But, that isn’t reason enough to say that if Satoru leaves the house, then their “Family (Subject to Change”) must end. She makes the point that striving for his best lifestyle, working with the vegetables he loves in a new place, does not need to be given up for the sake of a “house” or a “family.”

ふたりでスタートした「家族（仮）」は、ふたりの考える「家族」の形でいいのだ。ふたりが「たとえ違う場所に住んでいたとしても持続可能な関係性なのだ」と新たに定義したら、それは成立する。いくらでも再定義可能なのだから。

The “Family (Subject to Change)” that they started together can be whatever shape or form they think of as “family.” They can create a new definition of, “Even if we are living in different places, we can continue to have an enduring relationship,” and put it into place. They have the ability to redefine it as many times as needed. 

一度決めたものを守り続けようとするほど、縛られてしまうこともある。羽もその真面目さゆえに、知らずしらずのうちに考えが固まってしまっていたところがあったと気付かされる。だが、時代の移り変わりによって生活様式が大きく変わり、使われる言葉だって世代によって変化している。ならば「幸せ」という言葉が示す意味だって必要に応じて再定義してもいいのではないか。

To continue to follow something that was one time previously decided, is to be “bound”. Satoru is made to realize that at some point without him noticing, his way of thinking stiffened as a result of his diligence towards following rules. But lifestyles undergo major changes with the passing of time; even the words we use change from generation to generation. If that is the case, then even the meaning of the word “happiness” should be able to be redefined when necessary.

一度、自分を救ってくれた言葉や名前でさえも、場合によってはリセットしてもいい。自分を縛り付けていると思ったら、それを解き放ち、また新たに救われる言葉を探せばいいのだ。すべては「（仮）」で。

Even a word or name that once saved you, can be reestablished depending on the situation. If you feel that it is binding you and holding you back, you can just release it, and find a new word to save you.
