Just One of Those Days…

You know that feeling where you wake up and just know today is gonna suck? Yeah. That’s me right now. I don’t really feel like doing anything. No motivation, no energy, just a general feeling of ugh. I just wanna stay in bed, sleep for like, a century, and pretend the world doesn’t exist. But I can’t, because, of course, it’s a school day.

I already know my depression is gonna bite me in the ass today. It’s just lurking there, waiting for the perfect moment to make everything feel ten times worse. Love that for me.

Maybe I just need something to cheer me up. A funny meme. A nice comment. A sign from the universe that today won’t be as terrible as it feels right now. I don’t know. I just don’t wanna feel like this all day.

So, yeah. If anyone has anything good, feel free to throw it my way. Or just vibe with me in this no-energy, no-motivation pit of existence. Either works. 😞

Just one of those days - So it’s been a long couple of days with #1 being sick with who knows what and me fighting a losing battle to keep him from burning up. Then #2, in his infinite wisdom, chooses to use #1 water bottle. “Insert facepalm here.” So now on day 3 of what is quite possibly the longest week of my entire life, I’m endeavoring to reason with the 2 most unreasonable little humans on the planet. Currently #3 is asleep, and has yet to be infected in spite of his consistent efforts to do so by getting his grabby little hands and drooly mouth kisses on LITERALLY every surface and item. This is a new type of hell. And I’m torn.... will a glass of wine make this situation better? Or worse? At this stage it’s anyone’s guess. But at the end of the day, in this moment, I don’t really give a fuck. There are those days that everything just feels impossible.... like trying to put the babies down for a nap but one actually isn’t ready than the next is sound asleep... only to wake up once the last one drifted. I had to get through my assignments read chapters in books I mean.... I accomplished it all but geesh 🤯

I had to breathe in and out multiple times today because it was just a day! But overall I got through it. It’s ok to be off or on or in between we are moms but we are also Human.
