This drama, damn. One of the most boring dramas i’ve ever watched. Love alarm seriously has a decent concept, but something about it just is so not like drama was not kdramaing.

I decided to drop it so fast, couldn’t even watch one episode without feeling frustrated, or bored. I recommend this drama to nobody.

Our Blooming Youth Review | Episode 01 and 02

The drama throws us in the middle of a political war already underway and the script is smart to give us enough information to catch up. You can feel the stakes are high and how betrayal, murder, conspiracy are all breathing down at the Crown Prince's neck.

Lady Min (Jeon So Nee) is smart and resourceful. I am already looking forward to see her solve her family's murder and how it's connected to whoever is threatening Crown Prince Hwan (Park HyungSik).

As we learn about the Crown Prince’s true face and insecurities, Lady Min proves to be an outstanding and wise adviser. Now that it has been stablished their enemies are probably the same, I think they will be a force to be reckoned with.

I'm keeping my eye on Sergeant Han Sung-on (Yun Jong Seok) and Lord Kim Myung-jin (Lee Tae Sun). I don't think they are directly involved in the murder of Lady Min's family or the threats to the Crown Prince but perhaps their families are since their respective fathers are Ministers.

I think Lee Hwan wants to trust Sergeant Han but since becoming the Crown Prince it has become difficult to do so, even if he is a childhood friend, because of whom his father is. I admit Minister Han (Cho Seong-ha) is cryptic AF. He looks like ally but is he?

If Minister Han is working against Crown Prince Hwan, it would make sense that he would send someone to kill Governor Min to keep the letter secret and since his son was engaged to their daughter, it would give him opportunity. But, what would be his reason to depose Hwan?

Minister Jo (Jung Woong in) seems like the obvious choice. He’s not trying to hide his dislike for Crown Prince Hwan and wants to depose him to put his own nephew in his place and take control. I think he might be some kind of red herring to distracts from the real person moving all the pieces.

I also don’t trust the Queen (Hong Soo-hyun). I think she might be playing the long game to get her way through her uncle’s machiavellian ways.

Meanwhile I can’t read Minister Kim (Son Byung Ho) at all. I am pretty sure he will become a bigger player later in the story but I’m still not sure for which side. I hope the drama shows a little more of him at court and his relationship with his son.

Crown Prince's bodyguard Tae Gang (Heo Won So) and Lady in waiting Jang Garam (Pyo Yejin) both seem pure and loyal. I am already praying nothing happens to them through the course of this drama because my spidey senses tell me main character is dying in Our Blooming Youth.

Technically speaking, the cinematography is beautiful to look at, the costume design really well done, the directing and performances fun to watch but also set the seriousness of the problems our main characters must overcome. The best part it's the script, which I found to be very smart and well paced.

Overall, I think this drama has the potential to be a great sageuk!

Nuevo Drama de Epoca donde participará Kim Jae Wook, llamado Tangeum.

Primero decir que la calidad de la obra estará al nivel de #voice y #theguest, #ageofrebelion entre otras, ya que su director es el mismo y tendría 16 capítulos. Busqué esta novela para saber un poco más, pero empecé con el título Tangeum que se traduce al español con Tántalo que además de ser un elemento químico (tántalo), es el nombre del protagonista de una cruel historia mitológica que siendo el padre de Pélope, lo mata y lo sirve de banquete a los dioses. Tras su muerte, Tántalo se convierte en uno de los habitantes del Tártaro, la parte más profunda del Inframundo, reservada al castigo eterno. Dicho esto, la novela está clasificada como de terror y suspense, siendo la primera novela #dahyejang publicada en 2021. Argumento: "Amor entre hermanastros". Dice la obra: ¡El castigo es tragar oro hasta morir! ¿Una obra maestra de lirismo y brutalidad? Shim Yeolguk, un magnate de Joseon conocido como el "Rey del Dinero" por comerciar con costosas obras de arte, sufre la misteriosa desaparición de su único hijo de 8 años llamado Hong Rang (#leejaewook). El padre Shim Yeolguk y su esposa la señora Min invierten mucha riqueza y gente para encontrar a su hijo, llegando incluso a dar una recompensa por su cuerpo, pero no consiguen encontrarlo. Por otro lado la hija y hermanastra de Hong Rang, llamada Jae-yi (#joboha) de 9 años, está encarcelada (casi secuestrada al parecer) en una dependencia especial como castigo por robarle la tutela a Hong-rang, y Mu-Jin (Jung Garam) de 11 años, que le acompaña, es hijo mestizo de nobles que quieren perderlo todo y es adoptado por un comerciante, ambos con sus trágicas historias unidos por la catástrofe se convierten en familia considerándose hermanos, y crecen juntos teniendo sólo confianza el uno en el otro. Él comenta que ella se convertirá en una mujer bella y misteriosa con la habilidad de engañar a la gente. Diez años después, un cazador encuentra a Hong-rang y lo trae de vuelta, y pronto comienza una gran fiesta, pero arriba, Jae-Yi y Mu-Jin sospechan que Hong-rang es un estafador y lo insultan.

Sin embargo, a medida que pasa el tiempo, Jae-yi se siente confundida por la sinceridad de Hong-rang y acaba reconociéndolo como un hermano, pero al mismo tiempo no puede evitar enamorarse de sus encantos. A pesar de su emoción por el regreso de su hermano, Jae-yi lucha contra el hecho de que no se atreve a poner fin a sus anhelos. Ahora bien, por lo que he leído Kim Jae Wook tendría el papel del único hermano del padre de Hong Rang y que es el villano que tiene encarcelados a los hermanastros. Aún así habrá que ver pues es una adaptación, podría cambiar varios aspectos.

El personaje dicen que tiene un gran interés por lo académico y está obsesionado con el arte, en definitiva interpretaría al villano que dicen es personaje principal, pero también tendré que comprobarlo porque me parece podría ser un personaje secundario.

Tengo muchas ganas de ver cuanta maldad puede mostrar en su papel, porque sabe brillar con estos papeles y el director creo que lo conoce muy muy bien....así que haga lo que sabe hacer señor.

misty is a shawol. and she just generally likes the old sm groups. she’s still going ring ding dong ring ding dong ring diggy ding diggy ding ding ding in 2023. she posts a ton of updates of her biases and their songs, but her accs are usually filled with a bunch of old memes and ‘get jjonged’ videos.

gary’s an nctzen. sadly. he really only stans yuta, taeyong, jaemin, and a few others, because he has to keep his mental capacity. he knows anything and everything about every scandal they’ve ever had just so he can call out people for saying bullshit on his tl. chloe’s also an nctzen, but she’s jaehyun biased and doesn’t really dislike any of the members. their friends all cried when they heard sticker.

iris is the 3rd nctzen, she just doesn’t like sticker as much. which like, okay. she’s a dreamzen. she likes mark and w- jisung. i can’t call him that here. always finds herself talking to the dumbest people on stantwt. she likes more girl groups, though. and she watches those hello82 ateez videos on youtube.

goh is a taeyeon biased sone. he didn’t just have no friends because he didn’t want to talk to anyone, but because nobody would dance to gee with him. he got jessica jung’s book only because snsd, but then he realized the book was uh. not the greatest. gets into arguments all the time and has the sm entertainment apology post format memorized.

may’s a reveluv. seulgi biased. she buys pcs off social media even if they’re super expensive cause they look nice. kiawe’s also a reveluv, a HUGEEEE one. joy & yeri biased. he makes a hit tweet once a week and ( somehow ) is never in fanwars because everyone knows he’s right. they’re listening to birthday and peekaboo at this moment.

gladion’s another once. all the people he knows thinks he’s some fucking edgelord ( and he is, he’s not denying it ) and then they listen to his playlists full of what is love and heart shaker. nayeon stan. he also listens to a lot of bibi, though. people keep making him dance to love shot??? he just wants to go to bed??

lana stans whatever she feels like at the moment tbh. she’s a yunjin ult and keeps telling people to stop filling up her feed with garam because she was only in the group for 2 weeks. has a super aesthetic layout on every platform she’s on. i’m not saying she’s a doxxer, but she definetly has mutuals who are.

sophocles is a ningning ult. barely even listens to aespa, he’s there for ningning and her only. people would think he’d be into those ai groups, he really isn’t. probably listens to (g)i-dle and nmixx too. knows all the lyrics and dances to his faves’ songs.

lillie’s an insomnia and a neverland. she’d never listen to any of her brother’s playlists tbh. very much yuqi and gahyeon biased. listens to shitty podcasts, probably makes some. she probably makes those ‘unpopular opinions’ videos and a ton of analyses, but she actually tries not to hate every single song ever.

BENÇÃO DIVINA: "I'M JUST SPICY"!

Com o final do dia se aproximando, era notável a falta de névoa pelos ambientes, enquanto os calafrios, que já se tornaram quase comuns, também cessavam, como se nunca estivessem presentes antes. Seja pelo perdão dos pecados cometidos pelas divindades ou, talvez, como o ato de decretar o fim definitivo de uma época turbulenta, para que novas memórias doces e recheadas de felicidade e ambição pudessem surgir.

Netuno, Demeter, Saturno e Ártemis retornavam para suas verdadeiras representações físicas, voltando a reinar sobre o ambiente gregoriano com determinação e livrando cada bloco das criaturinhas levadas que faziam questão em fugir por aí.

Tudo estaria de volta ao normal.

Entretanto, o forte cheiro de gasolina junto delas diz que algo BEM diferente está por vir...
