🗿When Solid Snake does 4th of July festivities, he buys an American flag bandana from himself and some matching pajamas. He does watch fireworks or a patriotic movie with you on TV and orders pizza. So it's pretty much a relaxation day for the two of you.

☠️When it comes to Venom Snake doing Independence Day things, he lounges in the hot tub while eating some cheeseburgers and drinking whiskey. It doesn't sound like much to you or him, but the instant you join him in the hot tub wearing a bikini, Venom goes all over you.

🐍Whenever Big Boss gets to celebrate July 4th, he doesn't really do anything. Or, at least you think that he doesn't do anything. He actually does go out to the roof with his gun at night and shoots down woodpeckers as he smokes.

🍥When it comes to Kazuhira Miller celebrating the 4th of July, he obviously grills hot dogs and burgers for everybody. You know his grilling skills are off the charts from experience. Kaz does let you have your burger first since you're his girlfriend.

⚡When Raiden's celebrating the 4th of July, he does the typical duty of lighting up fireworks and shooting bottle rockets in the sky. He tried showing you how, but you were too scared. He does cut up a watermelon with his sword for you to munch on as he does them.

Last week (10 July), following a Cabinet meeting of the ruling junta, Justice Minister Edasso Rodrigue Bayala said homosexual relations would be prohibited and made a punishable offence. He gave no further details. The military seized power in 2022 and any new legislation still needs to be passed by the military-controlled parliament and signed off by junta leader Ibrahim Traoré.  “Henceforth, homosexuality and associated practices will be punished by the law,” Bayala said, news agency AFP reported. The move follows a trend of African nations moving to crackdown on LGBTQ+ rights by enacting discriminatory legislation, with queer people jailed or even facing the death penalty.

Explanation: The combined light of stars along the Milky Way are reflected by these cosmic dust clouds that soar 300 light-years or so above the plane of our galaxy. Known to some as integrated flux nebulae and commonly found at high galactic latitudes, the dusty galactic cirrus clouds are faint. But they can be traced over large regions of the sky toward the North and South Galactic poles. Along with the reflection of starlight, studies indicate the dust clouds produce a faint reddish luminescence as interstellar dust grains convert invisible ultraviolet radiation to visible red light. Also capturing nearby Milky Way stars and distant background galaxies, this remarkably deep, wide-field image explores a complex of faint galactic cirrus known as Mandel Wilson 9. It spans over three degrees across planet Earth's skies toward the far southern constellation Apus.

Bolsonaro government ordered the Brazilian Intelligence Agency to spy on public servants from the environmental institute Ibama

Three of the institute's employees were bothering the former minister, Joaquim Leite, who requested info about them

Operation Last Mile, launched by the Brazilian Federal Police on July 11, found out that during the administration of former President Jair Bolsonaro (Liberal Party), the then Minister of the Environment, Joaquim Leite, asked that three employees of the Brazilian Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama, in Portuguese) be spied on by the Brazilian Intelligence Agency (Abin, in Portuguese). The espionage case was revealed by UOL on Sunday (21).

According to the Federal Police report, there were three attempts by the federal government to obtain personal data about the public servants. Federal Police delegate Rodrigo Augusto de Carvalho Costa, who was Leite's advisor, was responsible for one of the requests for information about three Ibama agents. His contact was Giancarlo Rodrigues, a sergeant in the Army named in Operation Last Mile as a member of the so-called “parallel Abin.”

On March 28, 2022, Costa asked Rodrigues to “verify the rap sheet” of the three Ibama servants. According to Leite’s former advisor, the request was important because the servants were “bothering his ministry.”

FULL THREAD about the legendary AFA's Truco Tournament

It is well known, the players of the Argentina national team spent many years playing this truco game when they were enlisted in concentration camps. I tried to trace the history of this tradition, and these are the results.

Trivia: Messi lent 2 of his MOTM trophies to be used as a prop when the winner of the 2014 Truco Tournament, Martin Demichelis and Maxi Rodrigues, took their commemorative shot.

A year later, it's Otamendi & Javi Pastore's turn to win the tournament.

Kun & Messi in 2017.

The AFA pres won the 2018's truco tournament.

And now fast forward to their 2021 Copa America Journey. With the new coach and youngsters joining the Old Guards, the Truco Torneo tradition still lives on.

This marked the first time Messi had not partnered with his long-time best friend/forever roommate Kun, and eventually, the new trio consisting of Messi-Rodri-Lea won the tournament.

Last, the most recent tournament took place in Doha, Qatar. We got to see who was in charge of it (De Paul, Paredes), who teamed with whom, and who wasn't participating (Aimar, El Huevo, and German Pezzela).

The weird thing is, I found several articles that talked about different results about who won the torneo. Some said Tapia won again with Leo becoming the runner-up, others said Tapia won and the runner-up was another AFA's staff, and I too found people who were hyped up about Juli winning the tournament.

Someone on Twitter made a thread about the same topic (Truco Torneo) and from her post, we get to know that Di Maria denied this rumor about Juli.

Thanks to Taglia and Lauti who shared another inside story about the tournament. In their version, after Di Maria-Dybala-Ota team beat them, the trio then beat the Leo-Lea-Rodri team and based on the bracket maybe they (Di Maria-Dybala-Ota) were finally beaten by Chiqui Tapia's team.

Well, we're lucky that the topic of this confusing torneo is being mentioned during El Kun's legendary Twitch Stream, although it isn't very clear at all since no one mentioned the opponent who challenged Messi's team.

According to this recent clip, Lea did admit Ota-Di Maria-Dybala team beat his team and said the winner from the torneo was a team consisting of a manager, utility staff, and a goalkeeper coach.

One thing for sure is, 3 of the known loser teams have something to be blamed for. Lauti blamed Foyth, Lea called for the injustice, and then Cuti and Licha joined forces in slandering Molina's truco skill right under his Insta post.
