Spoilers.
The ending is very close to the jujutsu world that Geto and Gojo always dreamed of.
One that didnโ€™t rely on just the One Strong person.
A sorcery institution that protected the youth and would try to shoulder the blame / responsibility.
A hierarchical system that wasnโ€™t led by selfish old gits who upheld outdated values.
A world of relative peace.
A team of sorcerers who are โ€œstrong and intelligent comradesโ€.
Individuals who would fight for and with each other.
Sorcerers who have been touched by feelings of loss and understand the value of belonging - will likely open their arms to others, nurturing more of the same in the future.
The roots for a place that others can feel like they would be coming home to - a โ€œfamilyโ€.
A world that wouldnโ€™t leave anyone behind.
A world that would try to leave the pain of the past behind, but carry along (keeping) its precious memories to heart ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ without it being a wound that created loneliness. Gojo and Geto fundamentally strove to create a world that would not have casualties like themselves who were far too young to shoulder huge burdens all on their own.
โ€ฆfor the last point, this really echoes real life. People do die, and those left behind have to find a way for life to carry on.
Their legacy may or may not continue. Sometimes it does continue when a real revolution occurs. We have reason to believe a real revolution did occur. Gojo and Geto did straddle the two worlds because they elicited change. They took on the brunt of the blame and responsibility. This was what they wanted. It gave them meaning. And this was meant to be the most fulfilling thing for them.
Even within the series, one day, Gojo Satoru will be talked about just as Gojo himself talked about his ancestors. Maybe like Tengen and co. who first brought peace to the world. Those of that new era will not be able to put a face to his name. Or understand their methods. May not wish to.
And itโ€™s... okay. Thatโ€™s arguably the way itโ€™s meant to be. Life does go on.
You can remember as the reader.
This is what it means to grieve, I think.
Things like this touch the core of what it means to be human. Facing death. Loss. Grief. How we make sense of it.
Iโ€™m filled with gratitude that I fell into this series by chance. There are so many memories of where I was when I read this or how I felt when I read that.
My feelings for the series and the characters will change one day.
Itโ€™s normal. Itโ€™s okay.
In this very moment, Iโ€™m so grateful for the series, the vision created by Gege, and the community who love jjk - especially those who choose to keep it alive and embrace their fandom by expressing it in healthy ways that love each other rather than tearing each other down.

If I hear one more person say that Uraume and Sukuna's relationship is like father and child just because Uraume is short... I'm going to kill somebody.
I have no problem with those who see them that way, anyone can see their relationship however they want. But when I ask the reason why because I'm curious, they answer me with the same "Uraume looks so small"
So.. we gonna forget that short adults exist and the fact that Sukuna's true form is 7ft/2.13m TALL or smth like that ๐Ÿ˜ญ? Man is a giant, anyone looks like a kid next to him. We don't have Uraume's height but people came to the conclusion they're 5'4/1.62m or less.
I would've accepted any other reason except height comparison, and it's the only thing I came across with

My emotions are high right now so I may not think straight but let me get this straight.
EVERYBODY survived except Kashimo (who cares), Gojo and Choso.
KENJAKU/GETO lives and so does Takaba (or whatever his name is, I don't care at this point).
Gojo died fighting Sukuna just so others stood a chance against Sukuna later.
Yuta used his dead body to fight โ€“ and the guy didn't even do much to Sukuna. Gojo agreed because he view himself as a weapon โ€“ but that just means that no matter what, his students also thought of him as a weapon
Despite all of the above NO ONE grieves him (Choso isn't even acknowledged), KUSAKABE blames him for everything, and that's it
TSUMIKI (or rather her grave) gets a panel or two with Megumi and Shoko โ€“ but not Gojo.
The only person who even thought of Gojo in the last chapter was Yuji, but the context basically was for us readers: "forget about Gojo, don't you get tired of Gojo Satoru? there are other characters". Like yeah, no shit, Gojo would have high hopes for his students and for Yuji specifically but did we REALLY need to have Gojo himself stating "aren't you tired of Gojo Satoru?" (maybe it was a wrong translation, idk).
Overall, I'm so angry, sad, and disappointed with this manga. Yes, I wanted Gojo back, I was hoping for his comeback for a long time, but at some point I've accepted that it's over. But I never expected such treatment that Gojo would get after his death.
He was always just a weapon. His friend didn't even seem sad when she was asked to help Yuta use Gojo's body (something even Gojo acknowledged in that chapter). Gege had an opportunity to make Shoko say ANYTHING about Gojo during the Tsumiki grave scene, hell, MEGUMI, also could say anything!
But they didn't. Because Gege has a hate boner for Gojo Satoru.
Gojo poured all his heart and energy into growing and helping his students. He saved Yuta, he saved Yuji, he took care of Megumi, he was apparently friends with Shoko.
And yet no one grieved him. No one acknowledged his death. Fucking KENJAKU had a panel with Takaba indicating that he survived, but no, Gojo and Choso had to die... because.
And only Yuji ever remembers Gojo. Only Yuji said that he would not be able to forget Gojo Satoru.
And I didn't need much, you know? I just wanted people close to him to be sad about Gojo. People to reminisce about him. Someone to show that they cared about Gojo apart from his strength. But I feel that all his students just... Forget about him. True, Yuji is the protagonist so that's why he had that panel with Gojo, but what about Megumi? Why couldn't he show that he cared about Gojo? Why didn't we have at least a mention of Gojo from his lips?
Gege wasted one chapter at characters talking about what could and couldn't do against Sukuna and yapping about MVPs of the fight and such. Couldn't that chapter be used for something else? I know this is Jujutsu Kaisen and characters never grieve but, come on, those were the last chapters! This was the perfect moment to honour the dead, to acknowledge that Gojo Satoru was always more than his strength! For Yuji to be grateful that he could at least spent some time with Choso before his death! For Megumi to realise that he killed his guardian (well, Sukuna did in his body) and try to move past this trauma (by, for example remembering something that Gojo once told him or sth).
Idk. The ending is just lackluster for me. I can't say I hate it but I certainly don't like it. And it's not because Gojo is dead โ€“ I've accepted it, sad as it is. But because Gojo (and Choso) are THE ONLY ones that died. Sukuna was such a threat, the final boss, the one who was unbeatable... and yet with all of the characters surviving apart from Gojo and Choso, it just feels empty. The stakes that were during that fight don't exist anymore. Because how could Sukuna ever be considered a threat if almost all his attackers survived? He killed Gojo, why it was so hard to kill anyone else, people who were considerably weaker than Gojo? Yeah, I know Shoko is a good healer, and Ui Ui was there, but come on.
Well, now I guess I just stick to writing fanfics and pretend that all of this didn't happen. Who knows, maybe after anime ends, we all truly forget about Gojo Satoru and Jujutsu Kaisen.

The bitterness for the ending for me was that no one mourned Gojo. Him just seeming to admit heโ€™s a tool and accept it, that was so depressing and sad. Especially considering all the good we as the audience consider him to have done and thought the other characters would recognize him for as well only for them to justโ€ฆnot care. For me it at least wouldโ€™ve been satisfying had there been one last moment where his students are gathered at a headstone and we see it reads โ€œBest Sensei - Gojo Satoruโ€ then they all have a laugh talking about some of his antics. Then we know that even if they joke about him or poke fun, they did consider him to be important to them as their sensei vs another pawn in the JJK game that just helped them win. He tried so hard to give them a better life and in the end it comes across soโ€ฆmeaningless. At least to me. Thereโ€™s lots of ways Iโ€™m sure it couldโ€™ve been done differently and I know maybe there were things going on behind the scenes but for me Gojo will always be the strongest character of JJK and deserving of a better end.

Now that JJK is officially over, here is my completely biased opinion on the ending:
ย
Shit was ass. Like, I actually started understanding JJK haters because of it. The story is lowk trash, the fandom doesn't really help it, Gojo is overrated, Mahito would have been a better main villain, and the thing keeping most people going is Gojo. Not even the fucking story itself or even the main character; it's just a white-haired, overpowered, blue-eyed bitch that the creator himself seems to strongly dislike.ย
ย
But back to the main point.
ย
It was very disappointing to me, and that's probably because I kinda (probably, definitely) started JJK with the wrong mindset and was definitely praying for Sukuna to win and not beaten by the power of friendship and love and turns all sappy, since in all the animes I've ever watched (253, yes I don't have a life) the villain never wins and or just ends up being good, and when Gojo died, I was thinking Sukuna might actually win and avoid all that, and in my opinion, I feel like it would have been better if he won and would have made more sense than whatever the fuck we got with this ending.ย
ย
But then again we got to remember that this is most likely not even Gege's fault, because, as we know, shonen jump is a weekly series, and because of that, it has a very tight schedule, and ALEGEDLY whenever a series like JJK comes into its final arc, they have to pick an ending regardless of their plans, and they allegedly can't change it.ย (If you want, I can give you a YouTube video explaining this further; just ask or message me for the link). Also it definitely seems as if he was struggling with his health for some time which also effected the story I feel.
ย
Anyway, I kinda feel like if he wasn't being rushed by his deadline, JJK would have definitely ended another way (lowk probably with Sukuna winning, but what do I know๐Ÿคท).ย
ย
But in the end, this is what we got, and this is what we'll deal with. As many people have said before, it was lame, sadly very rushed, underwhelming, has too many plot holes, and is just overall a disappointment.ย
ย
And to be honest, I thought JJK had potential to be one of the best animes ever, but looking back now, I was just being your average One Piece fan (iykyk), and now JJK will probably only go down in history as being an anime with the best potential of becoming great (just like Megumi๐Ÿ˜ž).
ย
Anywho, I'm done with this anime, and now on the journey of finding my next personality and the next character I'll obsess over.
My king sukuna will always be the root of my personality tho and will forever be my favorite character in anime (maybe after Aizen and kenpachi but we're not here to talk about them).
ย
Long live Jujutsu Kaisen.ย
ย
ย
(If you actually read all of this, props to you cause this is shit and I wrote this half awake๐Ÿ˜›).

Get strong... strong enough to leave me behind.
I expect great things from you.
A dream of strong and intelligent comrades.
A dream he shared with Geto.
He must have achieved all that, right?
โ€ฆ.because he left it behind and chose to return to the past. Geto did too.
They were satisfied being left behind in the past.
