Seven(ish) Sentence Sunday ✍️

It’s been 84 years, but musican!Buck is back.

I’m on holidays at the same place where my Daylight series sparked to life and I’m hoping these writing beans stick around and I can capture even a fraction on the magic that first fic had.

Anyways, here’s a little something new from that au (tags and bonus sweaty Eddie pic under the cut)

The bell over the door chimes, Buck instinctively lifting his head and looking towards the noise. Time seems to slow down as Eddie walks through the door. He’s even more breathtaking than when Buck saw him on Saturday.

He’s wearing a pair of well worn faded blue wash jeans and what Buck can only describe as a slutty black tank top. It’s a racer singlet, something Buck saw a lot of guys wearing at the gyms back in LA, and dips extremely low around the arms and low enough around the neck that if Eddie were to bend over, Buck’s sure he’d see his nipples.

Eddie lifts a hand to run through his hair, a few strands flopping over his forehead and it’s really unfair how effortlessly attractive he is.

He looks around the cafe and finally spots them, his entire face lighting up with a smile that is so bright and beautiful it has Buck’s fingers faltering and fumbling the chord he was trying to show Chris.

He begins to move towards them and the closer he gets the more Buck’s brain begins to fry, because Eddie is covered in a light sheen of sweat that is making his golden skin glisten. Buck desperately wants to get his tongue and mouth on him.

He immediately chastises himself for the thought. He only met Eddie two days ago and shouldn’t be objectifying him like that. After all, he knows first hand how it feels to have people lusting after you just because of the way you look.
