He/him gay 30 definitely nsfw yadda yadda sideblog for when I want to ramble on about my Shepards. And now dragon age ocs as well. Often in a horny manner. Steve Cortez was my first video game husband and remains a favorite so wanted to shout out to him. Not a very chaste blog.

That said I don't know if Inquisition-era Alistair and Alim would make up exactly because the fact of the matter is that Alistair likes being king, better than he would've thought, and he likely has even grown to love Anora.
So it's very very possible that all Alistair would get from Alim is a snide "I told you so", which would be awfully immature of Alim, but perhaps in this matter he still feels a little snide and betrayed.
And it would probably be all the more annoying if Alistair agreed. And maybe then, in that moment of not being sure if Alistair is being genuine or he's just saying that to assuage him. Maybe then he can let it all go and say something beautiful and true.

Thinking about Chakwas saying "show some compassion" and then you turn around and there's Steve...in need of some compassion...

Tbh I made Miles have a thing for men really similar to him too -_- he literally falls for another sentinel...he has a thing for strong protective and chivalrous men. Knight for knight.
#was specifically thinking about how Wyll would probably be Miles' type despite them being so similar. Lmao#I wouldn't say Ezra has a specific type though. Yeah Steve's also an engineer#I teased about Anders and Dorian but that was a coincidence. And rogue kinda fits Ezra better#Anders and Dorian have nothing in common besides being easy gay picks. Certainly nothing in common with Steve

Only just now occurred to be that dragon age 2 au Ezra would be a spirit healer and romance Anders who is also a spirit healer, and Inquisition au Ezra would certainly be necromancer and romance Dorian.
Combined with Steve. Ezra has a funny trait of romancing the same class he is.

And he likes blowing stuff up and setting things on fire

Ezra is a grimy little glass canon engineer for life as far as I'm concerned, no plans to change him, though I sometimes consider an au where he was a biotic.
In general there are some things about his personality, his brashness, that would fit a bit more if he could throw people around with telekinesis or make a forcefield at will.
And I think some things like his borderline drinking problem are more suited to a very physical class rather than one where he really needs to think on his feet. Not that a vanguard doesn't have to think on their feet, or be careful about when and where they charge.
BUT. Those are the things that keep Ezra from falling in some days. He has to fuck around with his omni-tool every day, keep up on the latest hacks, clever and tactical

This all started with me watching a YouTube video of a dude making gym leader monotype teams which got to me thinking about oc pokemon teams which led to thinking about Miles' class again.

Every time I try really hard to imagine it I have a hard time really devoting to Miles being a vanguard because sentinel is just so...what he is. He's a guardian, he's a bastion, he's a hero and yeah, Vanguard is also kind of all those things, just more aggressive about it.
But Miles is someone who should be a bit...he has an overload ready when you need it, he's warping armor, he can knock enemies down or load up a cryo blast. He can run out there and draw fire and weaken enemies all at once, ready for teammates to pick off.
Well, since Kaidan is also a sentinel, it would work very much actually if Kaidan was in that role, being the best at softening up enemies so Miles can really destroy them, and he can also go out and start drawing fire while Miles is recovering.

And he's sick of tuning his omni-tool all the time. Keeping up with the tech world has just gotten frustrating and there's other things he'd rather do in his off time. He ends up giving the special jailbroken one to Kaidan - I imagine EDI wouldn't need it because her very body likely increases an omni-tool's power supply and it's very likely she can already fine-tune the output for hacking vs offense like the dual power core would.
...Tali would be the next choice but she likely has already jailbroken her omni-tool as much as she wants, and Kaidan just gets here faster.
