DC... You're always doing subtle retcons of the past with characters so can we please say that Kon was around when Jon was a kid now? I think the universe has changed enough for that to be canon. Imagine a mini series or a back issue story with Kon and Jon being Superboy together... It would be cute.

Imagine the Damian and Jon age gap but it happens a couple years later like Jon is 15 and Damian is 17. So when Jon comes back, and he’s 18 to Damian’s 17, everyone keeps making jokes about how he has to “wait a couple of months” because Jon’s crush on Damian is the most obvious thing in the world. (Unless you’re Damian, of course.) Now Jon is blushing furiously and avoiding eye contact, but Damian doesn’t get it?? Why is Jon so flustered? Jon, stop acting weird. We’re just going to see a movie. Stop blushing. You’re above this, Jon. Why won’t you hug me anymore? I thought you liked hugs. No, I don’t like them, but I’ve come to tolerate them from you. reading supersons after being exposed to their later friendship via fandom osmosis is so funny because these bitches could not stand each other at first. damian throws jon off a building. jon launches damian into the ground hard enough to leave a crater. they are constantly arguing and cannot work together without a life threatening situation. in a few years these two would die for each other and jon will canonically have damian's heartbeat memorized. hilarious.
