A moment of silence.

This isn’t usually what I post, especially since I’m not an Aroha, but I’m moved to tears to do this. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Moonbin’s family and friends right now. My heart is truly breaking. Sua, Sanha, Jinjin, MJ, Rocky, Eunwoo, Seungkwan, SinB, Chanwoo, his family, we’re all thinking of you. I hope everyone respects their privacy and their need to grieve, and I also hope we are all able to celebrate his beautiful life and all that he was, and all that he gave to it. Kind, gentle, incredibly talented, I can’t imagine what could’ve happened that got him to get to this point. My foundation feels shaken to its core.

Moonbin-ah, I hope you know how much you were loved, and how sorely you shall be missed. You have left a beautiful legacy behind you, and yet it was nothing compared to all you could’ve done. You remain in our hearts and our memories. You were wonderful.

Lee Jinseong had always prided himself on his newly acquired in university ability to remain calm and collected. the days of street fights and reckless behavior were gone ; now his baggy clothes masked his athletic physique, and he kept to himself, focusing on his studies, avoiding the social scene he had once thrived in. but all that changed the moment he met you.

it started innocently enough — just a few casual conversations after class, small talk that didn’t seem like much at the time. you’d laugh at his jokes, ask him about his interests, and listen patiently when he talked about boxing and martial arts. unlike everyone else, you seemed genuinely interested in what he had to say. you weren’t like the people he used to hang out with in high school. you listened.

Jinseong thrived on that attention, and before long, he found himself seeking it out more and more. it was like a drug — each conversation, each smile from you, pulling him deeper into a hole he couldn’t control. he told himself it was harmless at first. you were friends, right? friends talk, friends hang out. but that wasn’t enough for Jinseong. not anymore.

he began to text you constantly, at all hours. at first, it was normal — little things like, “hey, what’s up?” or “wanna study together?” but then the messages became more frequent, more desperate.

JinJin: "what are you doing?" JinJin: "are you busy?" JinJin: "why aren’t you answering?" JinJin: "are you with someone else?"

messages would pile up, one after the other, even if you hadn’t responded yet. sometimes he’d send three or four in a row within minutes, and the longer you didn’t reply, the more desperate his texts became.

it wasn’t long before his behavior in person became just as suffocating. he was always there — waiting outside your classes, showing up at the library, popping up unannounced at your dorm. at first, you tried to brush it off, telling yourself that Jinseong was just being a good friend, just protective. but the more it happened, the harder it became to ignore how clingy and persistent he was becoming.

“hey, you’re here!” Jinseong’s voice startled you one afternoon as you sat in the library. you hadn’t told him you’d be there, but there he was, standing at the end of the table with that all-too-familiar grin.

“uh, yeah… studying,” you said, forcing a smile as he pulled out the chair across from you. Jinseong didn’t seem to notice the awkwardness. “mind if i join?” he didn’t wait for an answer before settling in.

you tried to focus on your work, but it was impossible with Jinseong sitting so close, constantly shifting in his seat, watching you with an intensity that made your skin crawl. after every few minutes of silence, he’d ask you something, his questions coming out of nowhere, desperate for attention.

“what are you reading?” Jinseong asked, leaning in way too close so you could feel his breath on your cheek, and you just knew his hand resting on the back of your chair. “need any help?”

“no, i’m good,” you replied, feeling how your face just burning and crawling embarrassment. he wasn’t even trying to be subtle anymore.

“are you sure? i mean, i can help you with anything. we can study together more often.” he smiled, but there was an edge of neediness in his voice that made your stomach twist. you tried to stay calm, but the more he clung to you, the more anxious you became.

he followed you out of the library that day, insisting on walking you home, talking nonstop about things you weren’t even paying attention to. his presence felt oppressive now — too close, too constant, too much.

the real breaking point came one night after class. Jinseong showed up at your dorm unexpectedly, knocking on the door with a wide grin on his face.

“hey!” he said cheerfully when you opened the door. “thought we could hang out.”

“JinJin,” you breath out his nickname, a force of habit, but not a sincere wish to him affectionately “it’s late,” you said, trying to keep your voice neutral. “i’m really tired. i’ve got a lot of work to do.”

his smile faltered for a second, but he quickly recovered. “come on, just for a little while. i brought some snacks. you like those, right?”

you hesitated, guilt tugging at you for a moment. but the more Jinseong pushed, the more you realized just how badly you wanted some space. “i really can’t tonight, Jinseong. maybe some other time.”

there was a flicker of something dark in his eyes, — you almost never called him by his full name — and for a moment, you thought he might not leave. but then he let out a small laugh, though it sounded forced. “yeah, okay… sure. tomorrow, then?”

you nodded quickly, wanting to end the conversation, but the way he lingered at your door for just a second too long sent a shiver down your spine. when he finally left, you shut the door, exhaling deeply, your chest tight with unease. what had started as friendly attention had spiraled into something else entirely, something you couldn’t control. and as you leaned against the door, you realized with a sinking feeling that Jinseong wasn’t going to stop.

Over in the Shining League, Mercury handily knocked Yeeso out of the running and secured himself a spot in the Quarter Finals. Meanwhile in the Love League, there was a thrilling, neck and neck match that was any manwhore’s game right up until the very last minutes of the poll in the early AM today! Reid Mercury managed to scrape just a couple more votes than his competitor, meaning that Fu Su’s journey towards manwhoreness has come to an end, while Reid will be moving on to the next stage of competition.

Up today in the Shining League, we have Caprico vs Baishou! I won’t lie to you, folks, this is going to be a tough one for Baishou. For those who aren’t aware, Caprico has previously been awarded the first place spot during a past event, “Manwhore Monday”, and there are speculative whispers that he might just take home the crown again. The early morning voters are heavily favoring Caprico, but for those out there voting bunny, don’t despair just yet! Anything can happen in a manwhore tournament, as we’ve already seen.

Meanwhile in the Love League, it’s Zhu Yuxian facing off against Zhong Lizi. For those who aren’t aware, this is something of a grudge match, as both men proposed to Bai Jinjin on the exact same day! Bai Jinjin chose Zhong Lizi. Now it’s your turn to choose a man—or rather, a manwhore. Will Yuxian’s devilish smirk finally grant him a win against Zhong Lizi? anyone who's been on this blog for long enough knows that i'd joke about this being a sj blog bc she was all i would gif. and that i bolted when she left. i was hanging by a thread up until then because i really hoped and i really believed things would be okay. i simply could not stand to be here without her. i couldnt bear to see posts of her on my notifs. im still learning how to write down her name again. i cant seem to call her if she wont answer. its always sj or jinjin if i need to talk about it.

tomboy was such a weird thing for me. i wasnt excited about it. i wasnt even excited about them being back in korea after the hiatus. but it felt like something i had to brave through, because i still loved the rest of them, and i wanted them to succeed. it felt so bitter and nothing sweet though, that it took them to lose a piece before proper recognition arrived. i'll tip my hat to jeon soyeon though, she wrote tomboy as a 5 member song. i remember when windy came out and there's a song, weather if im not mistaken, that was said to have been a group song but didnt make to any of their previous albums. you listen to it and you can almost hear where every member would have sang. tomboy didnt have that. if tomboy was written for 6idle, it would have been arranged into a completely different song. im so sure of it.

so i kept up with tomboy privately. and i kept dreaming about what verses soyeon would write for her in my bag. and although nxde healed smth in me (shuhua and that damn blond hair tipped the scales to a degree im still learning to make sense of), i get exactly what you're talking about. she was their main slayer, and as such would have killed and owned every concept. i feel so robbed every comeback i could shake with it. what happened to her changed every way i could have ever interacted with kpop. i resent knetz for turning on her. i resent the industry and the culture that makes the rest of the group not be able to mention her. i resent every new idol rumour, true or false. i resent if they bring up her name and i resent it more if she is forgotten. i resent the groups that lose members to scandals and i resent the ones that stick together despite of it. everything is cursed and rotten.

it's been almost two years and i still catch myself bargaining with the universe. so the contract ends and they dont get back together as six. so the contract ends and soyeon doesnt create her own company to launch sj's solo career. so she never steps foot on stage again. so the contract ends and shuhua doesnt post thirty consecutive pictures of them together for the last years. what crumbs will make me happy that dont already feel like wishing on the impossible. what favors can i trade with the universe for something to happen. it's been so long and i still miss her so terribly. i hope she is happy but i also wish i could see it. that we could her from her. that she could hear from us.

Cha Eun Woo posted this for Moonbin's birthday and you should definitely go watch it and show it appreciation and love. I listen to A LOT of music, and it's rare to hear the emotions being expressed like this. Artists, performers, they're kind of trained or taught how to infuse emotion into their performances, to help pass that emotion onto the audience, it's part of what makes music a collective and universal experience. One that transcends language barriers and geo-political boundaries. And I thought that maybe the love and affection and grief that I was feeling was Eun Woo, until I remembered what day it is. For me personally I am in the about 2 week in between of my my parents deaths. The passed almost 3 years apart, separated by 10-ish days, and I forget sometimes, but my body, my heart, they remember, and so I'm pretty certain that the impact this performance had on me is directly related to my own mental/emotional state in this moment. But it is still a truly beautiful and fitting tribute to someone like Moonbin. I knew of him only peripherally really prior to his death, but it became incredibly clear by the reactions of fans, of other idols in the industry, that he was clearly a shining light of a person. To MJ, JinJin, Cha Eunwoo,  Sanha, and Rocky (if you ever happen to see this) I'm so sorry for this loss you've endured. It just absolutely fucking sucks. As someone who's experienced with grief not enough people just say that openly, but it fucking sucks.

Taro and Shiori have such a funny dynamic. I made two whole memes because I love how despite Shiori's yandere reputation she just does not care about Taro "being in the way". They are besties your honor.

Wanted to share bc these feeling were eating me alive. Hope other arohas may understand...

SUMMARY: Jinjin has to find and diffuse an irrationally angry moonbin just days before they're set to do their stargazer: AstroScope concert. why does he feel like this wouldn't br happening if MJ was still here..?

Jinwoo sighed as he shoved a forgotten stage prop back into its place.

Exasperated, he pushed his long fringe out of his eyes and off his forehead. Where the fuck was Bin...

Jinwoo power walked through one dark backstage hallway after another, opening doors, and snooping in dark corners. Where the fuck did that lunatic sneak away to? This venue was only so big, but the leader wasn't picking up any sort of trail.

Moments ago, Jinwoo was rehearsing his solo stage for their first concert without Myungjun. Things were going great. They were practically running ahead of schedule. Jinwoo was so confident in his solo stage rehearsals too. He was riding cloud 9, and didnt have time for Bin to be a fucking buzzkill like this.

Jinwoo hadnt been off the mainstage for 20 seconds before he got a text from one of the stage managers that read:

"Binsan emergency, assistant required in the practice room :("

Shit.. that could mean only one thing: Bin had pushed Sanha too hard. Again... Why the fuck couldnt Bin control his whack-ass behavior? Was it really too much to ask??

Yes. Yes it definitely was. And Jinwoo knew it too. Bin had never had to go this long without his emotional support blanket of their oldest member: Myungjun.

Their eldest member served as a magnet that pulled Bin out of his natural path of introvertedness. Its like Myungjun had some sort of legit spell over the kid. If Myungjun laughed, Bin would laugh. If Myungjun saw Bin starting to clam up or get angry, he somehow always knew exactly how to pull Bin out of it. Jinwoo felt guilty now for relying on the older boy so much when it came to Bin and Bin's emotions.

Myungjun had only been gone a few days before Jinwoo began to notice Bin changing. It started with some mild self isolation. Bin would stay way past the time they were scheduled to leave practice sessions. Saying he just wanted to keep his mind busy. Myungjun was usually the one who forces Bin to come back with them to the dorm. Myungjun just seemed to cast a spell on Bin, and Bin would listen.

The recent sleepless nights had turned into Bin developing an anxiety-driven aggression towards the other members. Practices had started to regularly derail as Bin kept stopping to harass Sanha and Dongmin over every single misstep they made.

Dongmin had been handling it the best. It took an army to actually set off the prince of tranquility's anger. And Dongmin could clearly see that Bins behavior wasnt normal, so he managed to put up with it. But Sanha.. Sanha on the other hand had begun to crack.

At first the maknae had been willing to fix anything Bin pointed out, as he usually respected and trusted anything Bin said to him regarding performances. But Jinwoo watched as confusion and anger began to build in Sanha's eyes with every angry/anoxioustghtdhhth in we vbe hg insult Bin threw at him. Bin had never critiqued Sanha to the point of belittling him so harshly. Jinwoo had deescalated many tense moments as Sanha began to push back at Bin's needless over critiquing and micromanaging.

Unfourtunalty, just a week prior, the two had gotten inches away from an all out fist fight.

Jinwoo had tried talking to Bin. But Bin's anxiety got the best of him.

**Bout a week ago**

"Why did you bring ME out here hyung?? That SHITHEAD is the reason im so angry! We ALL see him fucking up nearly every choreo!! I know im not crazy.. im not just seeing things!! Right?? Tell me you see it too?

"No one said you are crazy. But Bin, you gott-.."

"NO! If i dont FIX all these FUCKUPS before the filming day, we're ALL gonna look like SHIT. You guys are NOT TRYING HARD ENOUGH! Especially fucking Sanha. That.. that fucking talentless... Godddd"

Bin punched the hallway wall closest to him and kicked an unlucky, stray chair that happened to be in the hallway at the wrong time. It loudly flew half way down the hall. Bin looked like he was about to hyperventilate.

"Bin.. Bin... Bin look at me! Fuck, please breath and stop insulting Sanha. You are NOT helping anything by bitching like this and getting so angry. Do you understand me??"

"Why are YOU not as angry as i am?

Bin voice started to shake.

Your the LEADER GODDAMMIT.. i.. i-"

Jinwoo could see the breaking point closing in. He had to calm this mother fucker down.. and he hadda do it now.

"Bin.. please. Lets do those breathing practices we used to do, remember? The slow ones?"

Jinwoo grabbed Bins hands in his and held as tightly as he could. Bins hands were shaking too. His emotions were completely out of control.

Bin started to take a massively slow and unstable deep breath.

"Yes Bin, thats right. Push all the air out before breathing in. Come on, get it all out. Close your eyes"

Bin submitted and forced his eyes shut, as tears began to leak from the corners.

"Ok, now lets slowly start to let that air back in. Dont rush it, its not going anywhere. Slowly.. thats good. Ok now keep going till you fill those lungs entirely."

Jinwoo watched Bins chest slowly inflate with mild hitching and shaking.

"Thank you Bin. You're doing so well. Do you wanna keep going?"

Bin took two more shaky deep breaths.

"No. I think im fine now. But..."

Bin opened his eyes and looked down the hall at the chair.

"I think i need to go home for today. I cant go back in there. It'll happen again. I dont know why i cant turn off how horrible i feel and how nervous i am. And... I hate that im doing this. But when the anger comes, its impossible to stop."

Jinwoo pulled Bin into a hug. Bin let out a small sob as he leaned down to bury his face into the leaders shoulder.

"Its ok Bin, you can go home and try to relax. We have many more days to practice."

"Im sorry hyung. Im so sorry."

"Thank you for calming down Bin. I wish i was as good as Myungjun at cheering you up, but im trying my best"

Jinwoo let out a small chuckle.

Bin released their hug and faced the older boy

"What?"

Jinwoo then realized he said that out loud. Fuck... He definitely had never actually said anything about that theory to Bin before this moment. Mega foot in ass move there.

"Oh... Sorry. I just.. have noticed over the years that Myungjun seems to be able to.. idk, um.. he's just better at.. like..."

Bin looked so legitimately confused.

"Better at what hyung?"

Jinwoo rolled his eyes and shrugged.

"Goddamn, you know! He just tells you to do something and you do it, but its all good things that make you seem happier. Like i never noticed how much he keeps you from isolating urself untill he wasnt here. Or how he seems to be able to instantly reverse you when you get mad or sad. And i feel stupid for never seeing it before. But i mean.. think about it. When did you start to feel so anxious and angry all the time? Cuz it seems like it started after Myungjun left."

"The fuck..?"

Bin paused and looked deep in thought for a moment. Jinwoo saw the lights going on in Bins head. Bins cheeks even began to flush a bit.

"Damn hyung.. ur right! I started to feel really shitty after he left. Goddammit.."

"I mean.. hey - don't get embarrassed, its only something I've thought recently."

"Do you think... Does everyone know??"

"Bin.. no, literally i just thought this and haven't even said it out loud till right now. So no, i dont think everyone thinks that. And besides.. its not like it's a bad thing."

"But hyung.. like.. why? Why am i doing this? Why cant i get it.. why cant i fucking NOT get angry without HIM??"

Jinwoo could sense Bin working himself up again.

"Bin. Its normal to have new and different feelings when someones routine is drastically changed. Not having Myungjun is a big change. We all are having to adjust to him not being here. He is a huge presence."

Jinwoo put his hand on Bin's shoulder.

"Why don't you head home and.. idk.. text him? I think it might make you feel a little better, right?"

Bin flushed harder and looked down.

"Ok hyung... Ur right. I'll.."

Bin let out a heavy sigh.

"... I'll try to text him"

**Back to present**

Jinwoo wondered if Bin followed thru with that now. He'd have to ask whenever he found him.

He continued to run through the venue hallways, looking for Bin.

He had arrived too late to the practice room braul to stop the fight Bin and Sanha had moments ago. Only the stage mamager and backup dancers were left when he slid in. Sanha was taken care of nearby with Minhyuk, but Bin had fled the scene entirely. And now Jinwoo was tasked with finding him.

Aparently, it was the same old same old. Bin flipping out on the younger for not living up to some irrational standard set by Bin's anxiety. And it had escalated to the two throwing water bottles and other objects at each other and any poor soul around them.

He felt sweat on his forehead... Damn. This was entirely too much

#MJ, our dear Bin's M-hyung.. This must have been do hard for you. I cannot imagine how you're feeling - you leaned a lot on BIN but now, he's resting peacefully in a tranquil place. Thank you for always keeping up with him and baby-ing him.

#EUNWOO-sshi, I pray that you're staying as one of the strongest. Thank you for being a true, true friend and brother to him - your tight friendship was more than that, he became your best friend and you were each other's confidant. Thank you for staying by his side, talking to him just when he needed someone the most. Bin was the happiest whenever he gets to see and be with you. He may be finally resting in love now, but we'll surely see him on the next life, right???

#ROCKY, you've been in the group the longest with Bin - making you both ASTRO's ancestor line. You've known him the longest as you've trained together since you were kids. I could never imagine how you feel - as Bin and you have been together for almost half of your lives. I hope you stay strong, the dependable rock we all know. Be complete once again in the next life.

Our dearest maknae, #SANHA-ya. You've been with your Bin-hyung the longest. You've worked together so long, performed on a lot of stages together halfway around the world. And heartbreakingly, you won't be able to be with him like you used to for almost everyday. Thank you for being by his side. I hope that there will be someone who'll be beside you, someone you'd be able to talk to and do take your time to heal. AROHAs will always be here for all of you. We'll stay by your side, you can talk to us for as long as you want and we'll listen.

THE HORRORS OF MT. ROQUAT

Qrow wasn't sure about what Ozpin had him walk into. The huntsman looked down at the base of Mt. Roquat filled with those Green Wheelers. it made him feel like he was meeting Ironwood. Something that he really wasn't happy with.

They landed and Ozpin was taking pointed as the door beyond opened ahead of them. It didn't long to see who was waiting for them.

Waiting beyond them was an unhappy Kaliko also wasn't his idea of a good time. Even with Ozpin sitting next to him. Even with Jinjin smiling away.

Mason had a cigarette in his mouth. The smoke making Qrow frown.

"You really got to do that here, smelling like that really doesn't help this little get together"

"Everyone has their vices Mr. Branwen, I really have to question the man who walked in smelling like week old stout to really be talking to me with that tone" Kaliko glared as took another puff.

"As interesting as arguing over vices maybe that's not why we're here" Ozpin tried to keep the peace

"Of course, we're here to talk about the Nome problem. Roquat is taking every precaution to insure the safety of our city"

"Then how did they start to get into Patch huh? That's miles away" The anger from Branwen was evident as Jinjin tilted his head.

"We know about what happened to your niece. We understand you're angry but we are trying to figure that out same as you"

"Oh yeah then why do you still have that smile on your face!?" Even with the sunglasses on, Qrow felt the unchanging stare of the mayor.

"Life's been good to me, besides, we have a very good plan, right young master"

"That is if you wish to take a trip up the mountain" Kaliko took another puff as Ozpin, merely nodded.

"Of course, though I trust your family and know them well, pressing circumstances force me to check the seal"

"As you wish" Then Mason turned to his scroll and tapped it.

"Please bring in Ms. Mombi" It didn't take very long for her to show. Moving past the wheelers was a woman in a grey vested outfit and a green long coat.

"This is Liadan Mombi, current head of Rosate, our revolutionary change to the huntress system, she will make sure everything goes smoothly" Liadan grinned as she crossed her arms besides her troops.

"So you did go with the revolt after all, I ask you then what are done with the make huntsmen in your employ?" Ozpin already had concerns.

"They're in charge of defending Evna, but our best and brightest have always been with the Rosate and they're what are worth showing to the rest of the world"

"I see"

"Well I don't, Ever since last year, you've really made yourself king of that mountain. That isn't what Ozpin wanted you to do"

"Well that was until what happened to Amber. You think that sitting and waiting is a good idea?"

"So you follow after Ironwood with all those tin soldiers" Kaliko glared at Qrow as he put out his cigarette.

"You understand nothing. What we do here will do more the put up a barrier around Atlas. This will change the world for the better. Against the Nome King and that parasite that Ozpin has been fighting" "I think we need to simply make a move on don't you agree Mr. Ozpin" Mombi offered an olive branch as the two other men almost started shouting.

"For the moment, I believe we should just move on" The headmaster tried his best to get his companion to calm down for a moment sharing a glance with him.

"Fine" Qrow took a deep breath for a moment as Kaliko started to moved towards a platform at the base of the mountain.

"Alright. OMBY, we're on the way to the seal. Release Green Whiskers from defense to outlook"

"Understood" The green eye flickered over Kaliko's scroll before disappearing.

"Now, Mr. Jinjin will watch the rest of the city, if you two would follow me" Kaliko and Mombi walked past the other two, sharing a nod with Ozpin while flat out ignoring Qrow.

As they closer to the platform. Ozpin did not like what he saw.

Large elevators brought down miners who were bringing out incandescent dust. One had been taken away from a different lift.

"What is this?" The Headmaster looked around at the operation. There were various airships taking these out to other parts of the city.

"Our plan, there are resources on this mountain are too valuable not to be used"

"You took from the mountain?" Kaliko beamed with pride as Ozpin watched on in subdued worry.

"We had to use what we could to fight the evils around us. Besides we are taking from everything but the Seal, walk with me" They moved towards one of the larger platforms as it started to make it's way up to the middle of the mountain.

"I can understand what has to be done, but I'm not sure what will happen if you continue to go along with this course" The green airship of Mombi flying beneath them before flying above them.

"I'm well aware of the Nome King and the threat he poses. Anything coming from that mountain is tainted but we are now fighting a war with more fronts then we ever believed we would. I will take on these risks and if it falls apart I will take the blame" Ozpin simply thought it over as everyone didn't speak for a time.

When the elevator reached the chamber the Headmaster spoke up.

"I suppose that is what you'll choose. For now I believe you need to follow me" Ozpin moved towards a large cave beyond where the lift stopped.

"Who is the Nome King?" Qrow asked as he took out his flask and took a swig from it. He had to be a little hammered if he was going to get answers for Taiyang.

They walked along the path deep into the cave. There was green wheelers standing by the entrance.

"Everything is ready for you. Just tread lightly" Kaliko nodded to Mombi as the three walked by.

Deeper in the cave Qrow voiced his only thought.

"Who is the Nome King? How is he this unprepared?" Mason's reply annoyed Qrow who tried to speak up but was waved off by Ozpin.

"The Nome King hasn't been a threat in thousands of years, but now he's returned. I suppose there is no reason not to let this story go" Ozpin took a deep breath as he stopped at the magical glyph. A large red one that invoked the red sign of the Nome King.

"Before there were Huntsman, before there were Grimm, there were Monsters. First creations of the God of Darkness. The Serpent was a simple wyrm. A frail creature that grew fascinated with the dark in Humanity until it devoured it and the husks that remained became the Nome. I had attempted to stop him but the creature had become KIng" The headmaster put his hand to the seal. It started turning. Layers of it started to disappear.

"How did that happen?

"There was four kings, The King of the Towers, the King of the Crowns, the King of the Severs, and the King of the Hunts. The Wild Hunt King Evoldo gave himself to the Serpent, how and why I do not know. What I do know is that formed Ruggedo the Nome King. That however, gave me the key to stop him"

"It gave the Serpent a soul. I had to shatter their soul"

"You can do that to it but not to the witch?"

"The person who could've helped me do so is long gone"

"It scattered the souls to the winds. Yet the bodies remained. Evoldo was buried into the sea. Ruggedo's corpse lies in this mountain"

"That is where my family stepped in to protect the family for generations"

The magical seal faded away completely. Light opened into the cave and Qrow's eyes opened in perturbation.

Deep in the cave showed that Ozpin wasn't lying.

Surrounded by red ropes and wrapped in red strings sat the decaying corpse of a large snake. Its body wrapped around the pillar at the center of the cave. It remains almost skeletal. Ozpin got close to the last seal on the path to the snake.

"At least it's still here" The headmaster started to put his hand against the seal.

"The magic around it is still holding so far, hold on" Then he noticed

"That right there, there's a crack" Underneath the eye of the glyph. A crack that broke a single rune in half.

"Nothing could get through that" The huntsman felt there was nothing that could fit through something like that.

"I know what would" The serpents. Enough for for only a few and not the whole.

"This is what I figured with the discovery of the fault in Patch. This is why I started taking from the mountain so long ago, I didn't just bring you here to merely state what we have figured out on our own" Kaliko was met with silence.

"Well, the seal is now going to be fixed. But that is not the only reason I asked you to come over to Evna" After Kaliko moved them away from the cave Mason spoke again.

"What is it then Mr. Kaliko?"

"I need you to understand that with what we are faced that I did not make this decision lightly" Kaliko took out another cigarette and lit it and quickly took a puff.

"Which is?"

"The Council is in need of security. They want to turn to James. I was able to change their minds. Now the weight falls to me. I just wanted you to see what I have done and hope to have your backing as well" Mason wasn't looking at the duo, merely looking at the distance.

"...I will have to review quite a bit. If you give me some time. Then I can give you a proper answer" The head of Roquat merely shook his head for a moment before turning back to the two.

"Of course, Just know that I will be in Vale for the Vytal Festival"

"I see, thank you for telling me. Glynda will be with you over what we may do next" Liadan moved over to Kaliko and whispered something. Mason then flicked away his cigarette over the cliff then walked over to Ozpin.

"I see. Well I have to go over some things with Mombi. The airship will take you back Headmaster" He then walked away with no pause the two on their own.

"Do you trust that?" Qrow followed behind

"Let's speak with the others. Then I can decide on that"

"What tipped you off?"

"Amber, I only ever told you and the others about her. Not Kaliko"

"Great, that's all we need. So what's the next step?"

"Prepare. We must inform Taiyang, then James. Afterword we must bring the sarcophagus under Beacon. There is much more at play then we thought" Qrow took out his flask to drink. This is what he worried was going to happen.

Unknown to them Kaliko watched them descend. They know. So now he knew he had to take the other side off the board.

It's very early for the day, and school facilities haven't even opened yet, but there's that one student who perfects everything; she's not even a class president or any school government role; she's just a "show-off." Hey, don't hate me; I didn't say that; Lana did. And the girl we are talking about? her name is Hong Eunchae.

Eunchaes perspective-

I walk around the empty halls of the class waiting for my friends; it's normally like this since they are very far away from the school. I really hope something interesting happens today. Hours later

They finally arrived! I am hanging out with my best friend, Shuchae. She's very cool, I must say. I wonder how she's this famous. Even girls drool over her!

I took her hand and strolled around school until we found Jin! That's her name. She's very cute and understanding; her full name is JinJin Vai, but we call her Jin since, uh, yeah!

Another perspective-

"Good to see you, Jin!" Eunchae bowed and smiled happily while Jin was doing something. "Oh, ah, Hey Eunchae and Shuchae," she smiled. Anyway bla, bla, bla. Let's find someone else to look for, Ah here we are.

Choi Sana, she's really mysterious and confusing... It's like her brains from another universe, well that's the point, so, she's really smart, but gets bullied alot for being a "smarty pants," or "show off." It's really sad but she manages, very Y/n story correct? Maybe something will change in her we don't know the futures yet to come.

Who knows what will happen.
