Tommy has had his license revoked 8 times in the 7 years he has had it. On the flip slide he has also been to driver’s ed 4 times, so I’m sure he’s very qualified 👍

Jimmy has a motorcycle and Joel has his car. They end up next to eachother at a traffic light (tee hee) about twice a week. Joel compliments Jimmy's bike and Jim freezes. About two weeks later Jimmy finally compliments Joel's ride and Joel ALSO freezes. They continue as normal for at least three months longer

Their actual meet cute is Jimmy getting hit by a red light running truck and Joel being the guy who drags him out of the road/goes to the hospital with him.

And yes. They're gay

Song Review: Widespread Panic - “I Walk on Guilded Splinters” (Live, June 21, 2024)

Some songs require everyone to bring everything to the table.

Widespread Panic’s interpretation of Dr. John’s “I Walk on Guilded Splinters” is one of them. And on June 21, 2024, everyone came ready.

There’s John Bell coaxing eerie moans with a slide. JoJo Hermann plays organ like a man living deep in the blues. Duane Trucks attacks his drums as if he had four arms while Sunny Ortiz adds colorful percussion. And Dave Schools plays the bass in the way only Dave Schools does - even taking a couple of short solos - while supporting Bell on backgrounds.

The mood changes from New Orleanian groove to straightforward rock ‘n’ roll to freeform music and the tempo shifts frequently across the quarter-hour of juju WSP brings to “Guilded Splinters.” And it seems safe to assume Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater ain’t experienced such gris-gris this just-released performance was captured on professional video.

i have a really long essay i need to write on paper for thursday and i also have a super important test for that day and i have do a talk tomorrow and i have to paint some walls this friday and i feel really sick and ive been having nightmares the whole week but after this im finally gonna graduate and ball for the rest of my life

jimmy mushrooms' last drink is definently not the best will wood song ever made, but i still love it so so much.

it's the only will wood song that i didn't have to specifically learn the lyrics to, i just listened to it a few times and knew. it calms me down in a weird way. out of all the amazing, screamable songs in everything is a lot, it's the one song i want to sing that won't break my vocal chords.
