GNOXONOMY: 1st edition. As more species are discovered, the list will be expanded.

Gnomes include a variety of species, characterized by their snatching behavior. If it snatches, it is a gnome.

1. Earth Gnome (Terra Gnomicos) The most basic type of gnome. Lives underground, snatches anyone who passes by.

2. Sky Gnome (Celeste Gnomicos) A more dangerous and sinister type of gnome. They too can settle on the ground and often cooperate with (and are therefore hard to distinguish from) Earth Gnomes, but they are characterized by better technology.

3. Space Gnome (Astra Gnomicos) An even more advanced version of a sky gnome, exhibits very clear snatching tendencies.

4. Hell Gnome (Inferno Gnomicos) Gnomes who die fuse into a huge gore gnome in the Underworld.

5. Jungle Gnome (Planta Gnomicos) Doesn't exactly look like a gnome, but well, you see

6. Gnomiko Kurosawa (Curosawa Gnomico) That's right! The corpse factory girl is, in fact, a gnome!

Proof of Gnomity:

Some species, such as Goblins and Wizards, have similar characteristics to a gnome and may sometimes cooperate; they, however, do not belong to same species. Goblins, with their own snatching tendencies, have split off on the evolutionary path hundreds of years ago. Wizards have evolved their own pointy hats and beards independently.

Fun fact: Gnomes' economic policies exist under the name "Reagnomics".

Be careful. Don't get snatched by gnomes.
