Nezha’s one of those people who insists they prefer coffee black. Everyone else has to pretend they didn’t just watch him dump 20 sugar packets into a single cup of coffee.
i actually have a similar draft for this hold on-
Nezha drinks coffee occasionally. It's a nice "pick me up". Something to quirk up his mood.
When nezha needs energy he will never turn to coffee. Not even black.
Has has this ungodly concoction of things mixed togethor that would kill the jade emperor with a single drop.
Only reason nezha can drink it is bc his biology isn't like other magical beings. He's made out of magic plant and flowers (lotus) it won't kill him.
So It won't kill swk either bc he's stone.
But still. No one knows how nezha can sit still after drinking something that looks like it was forged by Buddha himself and a single sip sent erlang through 100 laps around heaven and back.
its a funny thought but i decided not to post it bc....idk i just didnt like it much anymore. so this isnt canon in my au's....its just a funny thought.
But i like your's better honestly...cause..12.
child like sugar.
He's in his taller form with Jia and is just like.
"I prefer coffee black" * yes adults drink coffee black that is what i am i am an adult and i am doing so well as an adult *
"like....no sugar or milk at all?"
"no, i dont really like sweet things"
he takes one sip and is absolutely disgusted but downs it anyways
".....you good?" Jia asks pouring some milk into her coffee
"yes...perfectly fine" Nezha strains. Jia shrugs and turns away, she pretends not to notice Nezha in the corner of her magic vision pouring an unholy amount of sugar into his coffee.
---------
alternativly
--------
"are you making coffee?"
"yeah"
"is on of those cups for Nezha?"
"yeeeaaahh. why"
"how did he ask for it?"
"what?"
"just answer the question"
"black"
Jia blinks at Macaque then searches through the cabinets patting down the different items till she feels what she's looking for. she pulls out the sugar and instead of taking a spoon to scoop some out she opens the container and begins to pour straight from the bag.
Macaque begins to think Jia is trying to poison Nezha based on how much sugar she's pouring.
"okay i think thats enough" Macaque says stopping her pouring before the sugar starts to pile up and spill from the mug.
"its never enough" Jia sighs letting Macaque put the sugar away.
"he said he wanted black"
"he always 'prefers his coffee black' but tell me the last time you met a twelv year old that liked raw black coffee"
"...."
"is my coffee done?" Nezha asks poking his head in.
"yep"
"cool, thanks" Nezha says taking his cup and emmediatly taking a sip.
he walks away drinking his cup with a satisfied hum to go back and play with Xiaohua.
"...huh"
"told ya"

Some Jia Li facts, pretty please?
deep sea creature (girl)
- when not doing simple tasks for herself or others, jia li is probably exercising. they tense up really easily so they always need to stay on top of things.
- their least favorite type of work is paperwork since it requires them to sit down a lot. movement is key to keeping jia li happy.
- she doesn't exactly need to eat, but does so anyways out of habit. they'll do anything except gummy worms and dehydrating foods. but really she likes things with a lot of flavor.
- jia li knew the former trainmaster of diligence fairly well. she misses her a lot.
- has a habit of running into people or things not due to clumsiness but because other people are clumsier than them. bruises come quickly to jia li.

Sacrifice
A remake of the fanfic I wrote a year ago. I hope you all like it!
It all happened so fast. The next thing she knew, a pack of wolves was chasing her. Running as fast as she could, Jia Li ran and ran, cradling the little cub in her arms. She took a quick glance at her son, who seemed confused by what was going on. Suddenly, one of the wolves lunged forward to pounce on her. Fortunately, she was able to avoid it and continue running. As the chase continued, Jia Li was trying to find a way to hide herself and her son from the wolves. She could tell the wolves were only a few steps away from catching them. She then spotted a small cliff in the distance and decided to go down it to hide. She took a glance at her side and let out a sigh of relief. She had lost them! They were finally safe, for now...
She knew they couldn't stay hidden for long. Before her was a wooden cart filled with baskets of fruits and vegetables. She rushed up to the cart and placed her son into one of the baskets. The cub began to cry after being separated from his mother's arms, which caused Jia Li to worry. She softly calmed him, and he immediately responded. Suddenly, she began to hear howling from a distance. She needs to find a way to protect her son. All that mattered to her was her son's safety. She pondered ways to shift the wolves' attention away from them; they could leave the area and head back to the village, but that would be too risky considering that she had already gone all the way here and the village was already a few miles away. In addition, she was already exhausted. The second reason is that, if they stayed here, it's possible that the wolves might find them and potentially harm or, even worse, kill them. Jia Li was frustrated. Either way, they'll be in danger and might lose their lives in the process.
Just then, an idea occurred to her—an idea she disliked. The howls were becoming louder, indicating that they were getting closer. Frightened by the howls, the cub began to cry once more. There was no other choice. She has to do it before it’s too late.
She looked over at her little bundle of joy, cupping his cheeks with her paws. Leaning forward, she gave her son one final kiss on the forehead as she caressed his cheeks. He let out a little giggle.
“Mm.. Ma…”
He did it. He finally said his first word.
Tears were starting to form in her eyes as she gazed into his eyes. Those jade eyes he inherited from his father. She finally allowed her tears to fall down her cheeks.
Jia Li closed her eyes, bracing herself for what had to be done. His smile was replaced by a saddened frown the moment she let go of his paw. She took a few steps back as he began to cry again, reaching for her with his arms. Her tears streamed down her face as she crawled up the hill. She then raised her arms in an attempt to draw the wolves' attention, and they were soon after her. This time, though, they were accompanied by a peacock. Jia Li let out a cry and fled, getting as far away as she could from her son. She did it for him. To keep him safe, to keep him alive. And with that, everything went black...
————————————
After a few hours, the massacre was over. The pandas who had survived had set up a small camp a few miles away from the village for their people to rest and tend to their friends and comrades who had been hurt while fighting or fleeing. The rest of the pandas had dispersed and gone in search of supplies they could salvage, while the others were searching for survivors or even the bodies of their loved ones. Meanwhile, on the other side of the camp, Li couldn't stop pacing back and forth. His worry is getting the best of him.
"Li, you need to calm down."
Li looked at the elder panda with a frustrated expression as he scratched the back of his neck. "I can't, Grandma. I haven't seen my wife and son in hours," he explained. "Tell me, how am I supposed to calm down?!"
Li noticed Grandma's surprise. When he realized he was shouting at her, he immediately lowered his voice and apologized.
"I know you're worried about your family, but you shouldn't be hard on yourself. Here, have some water at least," she said.
Grandma was about to pour Li a cup of water, but he refused. He sighed deeply as he leaned against a tree. He reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a neatly folded piece of paper, which he held in front of him. It was a painting of Jia Li cradling their son. He gently caressed the painting with his thumb, a faint smile forming across his face. Suddenly, Grandma began to talk. "Li, look over there!" she exclaimed, pointing to someone in the distance. It was Kang! He was limping heavily on his leg and was being assisted by another panda. Li rushed over to Kang and asked him what had happened.
"Those wolves are no joke! We were outnumbered, and the last thing I remember is being forced to the ground by them. Meng was able to save me, but... she didn't make it," he said, his eyes welling up with tears.
Li couldn't believe what he had just heard. Meng was Kang's girlfriend. She, too, was a trained warrior who had fought alongside him on numerous occasions. They had been together for a long time and were planning to get married until this happened. Li knew how much Meng meant to Kang. He felt bad for his friend.
"Kang!"
A voice called out from behind them. It was Zhang Wei, one of the village's most skilled archers. He came to a halt barely a few steps away from them, his gaze fixed on Kang and his injured leg. "How's your leg doing?" he asked.
"It's not that good, but I'll live."
Zhang Wei smiled in amusement before it was replaced by a saddened frown. "I'm sorry about Meng," he said. "You two made an excellent team."
"Thanks. I appreciate it." Kang replied.
Zhang Wei smiled before patting him on the shoulder as he made his way towards the others. He was only a few steps away when Li reached out to him. "Yes?"
"Do you happen to know where my wife and son are?" he asked. "I haven't heard anything about them for the past few hours."
"Hmm, is that correct?" Zhang Wei stroked his chin. "Well, then, why don't we—"
Suddenly, they all heard a scream coming from the woods. Regardless of who or what it was, it sounded scared, miserable, and desperate. Li's eyes widened. The sound was too familiar for him not to recognize. It can't be. He thought to himself. He dashed towards the source of the sound without hesitation.
"Li, wait! No!" Zhang Wei shouted, but he ignored him. He continued running until Zhang Wei and another panda grabbed him. "What were you thinking?! You could have gotten yourself killed!"
"Let go of me!" Li demanded, attempting to escape the two pandas' grip. "Jia Li needs me! My wife needs me!"
"Li, you need to calm down," Grandma pleaded.
"No, you don't understand. They're waiting for me! I need to save them!"
Zhang Wei reluctantly let him go, but he remained cautious in case Li tried to flee again. "We can't let you go out there. It's too dangerous!"
"What am I supposed to do then?" Li shouted. "Do you expect me to just stand here and wait for some sort of miracle to happen?"
"Li, that's enough," Kang said, clinging to the wooden staff for support of his injured leg.
"No! If you don't want to help me, that's fine. I'll go look for them myself!"
"Li, stop!"
Li was about to leave when an arrow landed in front of him, causing him to stop in his tracks. He turned to see Zhang Wei with his bow and arrow. Grandma rushed over to his side, asking if he was all right. Li simply nodded.
"I'm sorry, Li. I mean no harm, but I had to do it."
Li found himself kneeling on the ground, his knees getting weak. There was nothing he could do. He felt defeated. Lost. Heartbroken. Tears were starting to form in his eyes as he clenched his paws into fists. Grandma walked over to his side, gently rubbing his back in an attempt to comfort him.
"My deepest and sincerest condolences to you, Li." Zhang Wei removed his straw hat and bowed before making his way towards one of his comrades.
Li finally broke down in tears, his world shattered into pieces. He was now left alone. His wife and son... he failed them.

Jiang Tian gets jealous again. This time, unlike with Gao Tianyang, Jiang Tian sees Li Jia as a rival for Sheng Wang's affection and attention so he feels a bit insecure.
Tumblr media
He sees Li Jia making heart eyes at Sheng Wang and moves in to block her view lol.
Tumblr media
Sheng Wang is confused at first but then realizes that Jiang Tian is jealous. I love that little smirk.
Tumblr media
Sheng Wang used Li Jia to make Jiang Tian jealous, which is actually a shitty thing to do, but I love the boys so much, I don't even care.
Tumblr media
I love Sheng Wang's "innocent” self satisfied smile and Jiang Tian frustratingly eating his skewer with annoyance. So cute. I love them so much.

I am about a thousand times more invested in Gao Tian Yang and Pepper as a second couple than I am in any of this teacher love triangle business.
Tumblr media
This sweet boy delivering a gift made for his friend by the girl he likes 🥺
Tumblr media
And his joy at being allowed to keep the cookies! I love him! I hope Pepper starts to notice how genuine his words about her actually are.
Tumblr media
I’d happily replace most of the teacher scenes with more of this boy and his girl bantering at each other!
