This Week in The TCW

Apr 6th - Apr 12th

Last year, the highest number of items of shared clothing appearing in one episode of a show was seven. This week Sweet Tooth Good Dentist surpassed that with NINE. (Only Friends currently holds the record with 13.) This is going to be a long post...so I'll just get on with it.

Apr 6th - Perfect 10 Liners

I was hoping ep 24 or Perfect 10 Liners would give me one last item of shared clothing...and finally in the very last scene, Yotha came through for me. This blue shirt was also worn in Only Friends (Oct 2023) and Cooking Crush (Jan 2024).

Apr 9th - My Golden Blood

I knew this shirt was was going to be worn in ep 5 of My Golden Blood from the episode preview (I think I've also seen it somewhere else...but maybe in a different colour) and thanks to seeing all the gifs of Cherry Magic Thailand I recognised it instantly. (Thanks also to @kayatoasted for the CMT screenshot.)

Apr 11th - Sweet Tooth Good Dentist

Right. On to the heavy hitter. I went into ep 3 of Sweet Tooth Good Dentist knowing there would be at least four items of shared clothing from seeing them in the episode preview. Then the thumbnails of the youtube videos revealed three more...and then I spotted another two whilst watching the ep.

The first one, @my-rose-tinted-glasses quite rightly recognised from Only Friends (Oct 2023) and Peaceful Property (Sept 2024).

Then came another from Only friends - I think the colour difference is because of filters used in filming/post-production (actually the above three pics really show how different series have a different filters - OFTS is cool, PP is warm, and STGD has a soft focus).

And a third from Only Friends, again worn by Poon and Mark.

Next is Sant's green raincoat, worn also by Namtam in UMG (Apr 2023).

And in the same scene, Mark wears the same stripy top as Sea in Last Twilight (Dec 2023). And yes, Ohm is present in both scenes.

Next is one I recognised from the trailer but couldn't place where until I looked through Peaceful Property (Aug 2024) again and found it.

Poon then briefly wore this other black and purple top, also worn in Only Friends (Oct 2023) and Peaceful Property (Oct 2024 - I've included the back and front shots to show it is the same)

The penultimate item (we're nearly finished, I promise!) is a polo shirt that Mark has already worn before - in Last Twilight (Jan 2024) - and which also appeared in Peaceful Property (Nov 2024).

And last but not least, this blue polo shirt was also worn in ep 1 of City of Stars (Feb 2024), with a pale yellow version in ep 4.

TOP FORM THE SERIES (2025) - EP 5

On one level I respect the story Heesu in Class 2 is telling, and am invested enough in all the characters to want to keep watching to see where it goes.

But on another level it’s too frustrating of a watch to actually enjoy.

All this makes for an odd viewing experience.

Choose Your Fave From My Faves: Height Difference! Korean BL Edition

Most of us love a good height difference between our leads. The ones where they're both actually tall but one seems real tiny because the other one is huge always hits. I was going to do a poll with BL couples from all over but where's the fun in that when we have so many to choose from. So here's part one.

SN: I haven't watched any Korean BLs past Curse of Taekwondo and Love in the Big City so...you won't be seeing any recent pairings on here.

Side SN: I also had some other folks on here until I realized their height difference was not that vast. ANYWAYS!! Choose your fave!
