Juliette Wilkes headcanons (cause she's been non stop in my brain recently)

for anyone who doesn't know "Wilkes" is a cannon character who's mentioned in goblet of fire. they were apart of snapes gang and died a year before the war ended the same way as Evan. They're sex is not specified since they're always spoken about in a pural sense. most people hc them to be a boy but i think we have enough male death eaters so i'm going with the girl hc

Her patronus was a niffler

She had two older sisters, Jasmine and Isabella and two younger sisters, Rebecca and Victoria

The Wilkes sisters all hated each other and were constantly put in competition with each other

Juliette always wished she had brothers instead of sisters

When she was younger her parents had an arrangement that she would marry Sirius Black when she was older

Despite the fact that Sirius was sorted into Gryffindor she still had hoped that he would join "the right side" and marry her (she mostly was just interested in the money and the power that came with the Black name. Sirius' looks were a bonus)

She was the girl "eyeing him hopefully" during their OWL exam

She was the classic mean girl during school

She never took part in any attacks on Muggleborns during school but was there for a lot of them and encouraged Edmund and Bruce to do them

While she was in her fourth year during a trip to Hogsmead she met George Coutas who was a man who lived in Hogsmeade After a few weeks of seeing each other they began to secretly be together

George is a grown man. This is gross

She was best friends with Loretta Felidwake during the early years at Hogwarts but they fell out during their fourth year after Loretta found out about her and George and told Slughorn who informed her parents

She had always been in love with Edmund Avery Jr but never said anything because she didn't think it was realistic and always thought she was going to marry Sirius

After Sirius was disowned his parents promised Regulus to one of the Wilkes sisters instead. They never specified which sister which caused a lot of tension and arguing amongst them

To give her a one up, Juliette started sleeping with Evan Rosier during their sixth year. She was using him to get closer to Regulus and he was using her to get into their circle of death eater friends

Eventually it was confirmed that Regulus would marry Juliette, but once she told Edmund the news he confessed that he loved her and proposed

Juliette told him to buy her a ring, as for her fathers permission and ask her with flowers another time, but for the meantime she wouldn't mind being his girlfriend (she was screaming with joy on the inside)

“I'll help you find it,” Juliette offered, springing up from her seat on the bed.

Renée was rifling through her wardrobe, eyebrows knitted in frustration, pulling out dresses and hats and coats and throwing everything on the floor. Her sister dodged several articles of clothing to get to her side, shuffling through another section of colorful fabric.

“It’s the perfect coat for this dress, Jules! What if I never find it??”

Juliette could hear the distress in her sister’s voice. Fashion and aesthetics were never too important to her, but they meant the world to Renée these days.

The younger princess stepped away and walked over to her own wardrobe, still listening as Renée described this precious and missing coat. Opening her own wardrobe, Juliette quickly found a coat that almost matched perfect, except for a few details. Their father had purchased the coats for them together, appreciating the subtle differences in design whilst seeing a unity between them.

“Renée?”

The older princess flipped around. “What? Did you find it?”

“Not exactly,” Juliette said, coming back over. “Papa got me one quite similar, remember? Do you think this would work for tonight?”

Renée’s eyes softened as she took the coat in her hands. “Oh, Jules… but what will you wear?”

“I have another that works well enough. This looks perfect with your dress. See?” Juliette took the coat from her and helped it on her shoulders, turning her in front of the mirror.

“It’s lovely… Are you sure you don’t mind?”

“Not at all,” Juliette said, kissing her sister’s cheek. “Now we’d better go, I’m sure Papa is pacing the floor.”

Renée agreed and the sisters quickly threw the clothes back in the wardrobe. They gathered their things and made final touches, then took each other’s hands and left the room to meet the rest of their family.
