The funny thing about A Clockwork Orange is that in Spanish Alex Delarge and Sherk share the same voice actor.

Just so everyone is aware, ayathefly, the account who claims to be a temp voice actress for Dragons Rising, is almost certainly my cyber stalker from last month.
She has almost the exact same story as one of the stalker accounts used to try and befriend me. Back then she was a 23yo temp voice actress named Maya who had a comedically whimsical story about her not knowing information about the ducktales reboot she was hired for. This time she's a 23yo temp voice actress named Aya who has a comedically whimsical story about not knowing information about the Ninjago reboot she was hired for. Both the accounts used generic profile pics from classic cartoons, reblogged posts of mine shortly after creating their account, and had this manner of speaking in their posts which immediately set off alarm bells in my head.
In case you are not privy to the saga, this person made a bunch of false accusations about me on one account while defending me on another in order to, I guess, try and win my favor. This after harassing, threatening, and otherwise pestering me on a number of spam accounts. This includes the full range of pretending to be a fan with a tragic story about a dead brother, to weird sex foot fetish fantasies. Since then I have received emails claiming to be showrunners interested in my feedback which I'm also certain are her.
I have also linked them back to the zanenindroid account, and the parachutingkitfanpage, both abandoned at this point, presumably because they didn't get traction.
I need you to understand I was on the fence about sharing this information. Even if they're making my life annoying, this person has at times claimed to be 16 in messages to me in the past (I figure it's possible that the 23yo thing might just be her pretending to be my same age) and I don't want to be the guy who calls out a kid who lied on the internet to try and get friends- even if what they're doing is ABSOLUTELY inexcusable, it's only really affecting me. I know how to use the block button. Turning off non-follow messaging and anon asks is annoying, but not that huge a deal if it means cutting off avenues for them to contact me.
But recently my MOTHER informed me that she got some strange messages from someone claiming to be a 23yo voice actress, and tried gaslighting her into believing she knew her mom from a writing group like 10 years ago (which is not possible btw), and should TOTALY introduce her to me, because we're the same age, and both interested in animation.
I can't not talk about this anymore. When you bring my family into this, you lose any attempt at mercy from me.
Especially given we have quite a few minors in the fandom, I feel obligated to say something. I would not feel comfortable with anyone I know or care about interacting with this person, regardless of how harmless this person thinks their intentions are. They have proved themselves to be a manipulative, lying, unhinged, and obsessive personality willing to put someone they presumably like through some of the scariest scenarios you can find yourself in on the internet- and then drag your family into it. I would ask that you do not interact, do not give them the time of day, do not try to reason with them, and try your best not to be fooled by new accounts that pop up a week from now with suspiciously similar behavior, because I'm almost certain that will happen if Aya goes silent.
Maybe you think I'm paranoid, and over blowing things, and that's your call to make, but I would not be making this post if I did not feel strongly about this.
Even if somehow this is not the same person, and I am falsely linking these two nearly identical identities, at the very least Aya is not who she proports to be. She claims to have provided temp voices for season 3 just this month (temp voices being temporary voice work done before the actual actors are able to record their lines), but Devon Mack (voice actor for Arin) has confirmed that he was in the middle of recording the official dialogue for season 3 back in January of this year. The idea that the production team would only just now be recording TEMP dialogue for animation that's going to release in just a few months is an absolutely WILD claim. I can not convey to you what an insanely truncated timeline that would be. I don't even think that Dragons Rising is a the kind of show to use temp dialogue, none the less have the budget and time to hire out if they did need temp voices, rather than just using production members like most temp work.
Please, be careful out there everyone.
I'm praying I never have to address this again.

"Switching Roles" Kevin Alvarez and Timothee Chalamet
Kevin Álvarez’s Perspective:
I’ve always dreamed of being an actor. Since I was a kid, I spent hours in front of the TV, mimicking my idols and imagining the bright lights of Hollywood. However, life took me down a different path: football. Now, with Club América, I’ve achieved something many consider a dream, but deep down, there’s always been a yearning for the cinema.
I remember the day it was announced that Timothée Chalamet would be coming to Mexico to promote "Dune: Part II." My excitement was palpable. Here was a talented young star, acclaimed for his acting, while I was just an emerging footballer, longing to be like him. I spent the days leading up to the match thinking about what I would say if I ever had the chance to meet him. But football was my reality, and for now, it was my priority.
On match night, the stadium was packed. The atmosphere was electric, and adrenaline coursed through my veins. As I ran across the field, I felt alive. Yet in the back of my mind, that voice kept dreaming of acting, of being part of stories larger than myself.
Then, everything changed in an instant. A ball, struck with force, flew into the stands and hit me. When I regained consciousness, I wasn’t on the pitch anymore; I was in an unfamiliar locker room, staring at a mirror that reflected Timothée Chalamet. Confusion and panic overwhelmed me. What had happened? How was it possible that I was in his body?
Facing life as an actor was terrifying. The cameras, the lights, the pressure of being in the spotlight… it wasn’t easy. Every time I looked in the mirror, I saw someone I had always admired, but now I had to live that reality. I had to attend meetings and auditions, and while I initially felt like a fish out of water, I soon began to find my footing.
It was incredible to be in his world, surrounded by writers and directors, but I also felt out of place. The pressure to meet expectations was overwhelming. Sometimes, I wished to return to the pitch, where my skills were clear, and the thrill of the game filled me with life.
Yet there was something magical about the world of cinema. I learned to appreciate the art of storytelling and the dedication each performance requires. In one of those meetings, I remembered why I loved acting and how it had always been a part of me. So, I started to immerse myself in roles, to feel the emotions of characters, and to channel my own dreams through them.
Meanwhile, Timothée, in my body, was discovering the world of football. I could see his excitement and struggle. He trained hard, trying to understand the game and meet the expectations of being a professional athlete. With each match, I felt his desire to succeed and his respect for the sport. That made me realize how much love is needed in both disciplines.
The climax arrived during a crucial match. Timothée had to take a decisive penalty kick, and as I watched him, I felt a mix of nerves and pride. When he scored, a wave of happiness washed over me. In that moment, I understood that although we were in different bodies, we shared the same desire: to be the best at what we love.
Finally, fate brought us together again. In a strange connection, we returned to our original bodies. It was as if an invisible thread had pulled us back, giving us a new perspective on what it means to be an actor and an athlete.
Today, as I look to the future, I know I won’t abandon my dream of acting. I’ve learned to value every part of my journey, to embrace both football and cinema. Timothée and I shared an experience that bonded us in a unique way. Life is a stage, and I’m ready to shine on it, whether with a ball at my feet or on the big screen.
Part two here:

By the teeth
Creep Yan + G.N Friendly Creep Reader Blurb
Warning: light gore
You're so nice.....
A fraction of your kindness was more than they had ever received. It was real too - not like teachers or peers who were always told to look out for the weakest link. The sincerity and care in your words reached your eyes; yet another thing they'd never witnessed before. As if you couldn't get anymore perfect, you even shared some of the same interests. When they gushed about their favorite films you came to them the next day carrying a signed poster. The envy they felt when you informed them the actor who's signature you possessed died not even a day later. You gave it to them as confirmation of your new friendship and that's when they knew they were in love. You don't even free out when they show you the dead things their cats bring. It must be meant to be.
You're so kind - to everyone you met. It's the bridge that separates you. Whereas they walk home alone, you have a group to guide your way. You invite them everytime, but they know they aren't welcomed by all. So charismatic and cute and sweet. It's no wonder you have so many admirers. It's only in your nature as innocent soul to attract demons so they don't blame you when you're asked out on dates. They don't blame you when someone walks up to you with bashful eyes and a blushing smile - asking to meet somewhere you can truly be alone. They don't blame you...not at all.
Which is why they'll hate themselves even more for what they were going to do.
Gloved fingers grip at their clothed mouth. They'd make it look like a robbery gone wrong. Just one stab. Just one - and it'd all be over. If anyone was to blame, it was them. Any bastard who would drag their angel into a dingy, dirty alleyway deserved to die. They prayed their rage wouldn't get the best of them. If they got carried away and your eyes met, they'd die right on the spot.
Their thoughts are interrupted by something...strange. A wet, slurping noise floods the alley - pained gurgles and groans creeping between each intake. They couldn't see well with their shades. The two of you were just- standing there; locked in each other's arm. Your hands claw red streaks into your partner's back and that's when they realize how truly off this felt. They - they were hurting you. The creep's actions would be justified in this scenario. Maybe God was finally giving them a chance.
Clutching the handle of their knife, they proceed forward - scene unraveling with each step.
One - your arms tighten around their waist.
Two - your head rolls back.
Three - the tender flesh of their neck pulls with it. You'd already torn a hole through their jugular and the gush of carmine overflowed your gorgeous lips as you went in for another. Gulping the thick substance down your stuffed throat, you pull the limp figure to your chest as your lips crawl to their ear. You shake them gently, pouting as they fall slack in your arms.
"Heyyyyy, you were all over me a second ago... What happened?"
The childlike glee in your voice gave them chills. That bubbly ting that made - still makes their heart leap. You go in for one more bite, dropping them like a sack of potatoes as you chew. The body collapses into the earth as their knees give out. They fall a second later than it, catching your guard. You wave
"Mhm-mhm!"
You step over the body and towards them. They pedal backwards, but you're far faster being on both of your feet and bounce before they can even try to get up. Their eyes search your face for anything. Are you going to attack them too? Why was their heart racing so fast from the thought? Why were they jealous they weren't the first? They shut their eyes, bracing for the worse.
"mmmmmm"
Light assaults their senses as they force themselves to face what you have done. Rather the sting of a bite, they feel something softer - centered on their lips. It was another pair. You were kissing them. The shock loosened their tight jaws, allowing you to siphon the fatty blood clung to the roof of your mouth into theirs. They weakly beat your chest, forced into swallowing by the lack of oxygen and your hands around their throat. Their thighs clinch as you squeeze. Thick clots bind you as you pull away. You smile that beautiful - teeth dyed red. They lick your canines.
"-wahh! Whew! That was more than - and way grosser than I expected. Must've been a smoker. Anywho, as I was saying - hello! I've been wondering where you've been. You haven't followed me home this past you nights. I missed you, ya."
You pinch and smack at their cheeks as they stare off - stunned.
"Hmph, you can make up for it by getting rid of that for me. Call me when you're done and we can watch something together, kay. I'm sure you have my number, but lemme make sure it's the right one."
They had you their phone. You punch in your contact information, happily humming away and bouncing to a song that came to mind. You kiss their cheek as you jump off them.
"Pick up something to eat when you come too or I'll eat you next. I'm starving. See you soon!"
As you walk off they look down at their phone. There's a heart and a hallo at the end of the title you gave yourself. Your angel. They clutch the device to their chest.
Love really did exist....even for someone like them.

You know what's kind of wild to me? Anna just confirmed they've been together for 6 years. People forget she's still 29, and isn't 30 yet. So they met when she was still 23. Not hugely different from 25, but notable I think. Idk where the narrative that she was 25 came from and how that stuck.
Hi there! So I am still catching up on Asks, and I wanted to make sure I addressed these (grouped together due to similar themes). For those who might not have seen, what is being referred to are two separate incidents that occurred in the days after Anna posted the t-shirt story on Instagram. On Tuesday, she posted this story lashing out at a Swedish publication for sharing a story originally from a UK publication (The Independent) about Michael's answer to the age gap question on The Assembly. The story was originally in Swedish, but the English translation is on the right:
Then on Wednesday, she did the same thing again, this time with another Swedish paper:
Since so much of this hinges on what Michael said in his response, I will post a short clip of that here, so we have the visual:
When AL's stories were first posted, I noticed a few comments on a post from @nightgoodomens from someone who speaks Swedish, and after reading the article, their observation was that all the magazines did was literally translate what Michael said, word for word (which we can then also further confirm by watching the video above).
So Michael's words were translated directly, and on top of that, Anna was not tagged by these papers, or contacted by reporters "for comment"--she seemingly sought out these news stories and shared them on her own social media. What's strange is that most of us would never have even seen them otherwise, and yet she chose to draw attention to them. And if these articles truly are meaningless clickbait, I'm confused as to why Anna would lash out so hard at them, especially if she feels as secure in her and Michael's relationship as she has wanted us to believe.
The other thing for me is that the one voice that is (again) noticeably absent here is Michael's. Nearly every post Michael has responded to/shared in relation to The Assembly was about a moment between him and one of the interviewers, Leo. Not only has the clip of Michael's answer to the age gap question gotten much less circulation/attention than the initial clip of the girl asking him the question, he has not said a single word about it since the show aired on April 5th.
He has especially not said anything about being misquoted (either in UK magazines/newspapers or international ones). And this becomes even more glaring when you realize that Michael immediately jumped on someone Twitter the day before AL shared that first story and corrected them for misquoting him (in regard to his comments about Welsh actors and Welsh roles). So it's very clear that if Michael thought he was being misquoted, there is no reason why he wouldn't speak up about it. And yet...complete silence.
I also find it interesting that for months, Michael was being attacked on social media, first in the aftermath of his comments about the situation in the Middle East, then more recently after recording a video saying hello to Good Omens fans in Russia. In both cases, he was defamed over and over again, accused of supporting war and genocide, and in general had his comments twisted and distorted beyond recognition--in other words, he was repeatedly misquoted (to put it mildly). Not once did Anna defend him against any of this. Not once was there an Insta story or anything speaking up in support of Michael. But as soon as it was something about her/their relationship, here she was posting these stories and letting us know exactly what her priorities are.
To your comments @lookforthelight97 about AL inadvertently saying the quiet parts out loud, that was also something that caught my attention. We could be here all day talking about the narrative and who is trying to change what, but for those who don't know, the narrative of her being 25 came from every media outlet stating that Michael and AL met in May of 2019...despite the fact that she gave birth to Lyra just four months later, in September.
It was this discrepancy that gave a lot of us the feeling that something was off even back in 2019 (and I would urge folks to check out @problematicwelshman, who covered a lot more of this at the time). In actuality, Michael and AL would have had to have met in late 2018 (when Anna was actually 24, as her birthday is in August) for her to then become pregnant and have the baby in September. All of this to say that if the official PR line for the last five years has been that they met in 2019, it makes you wonder why AL is suddenly publicly contradicting it, especially to show the lack of contentment she seems to feel about the relationship even after five (pardon me, six) years.
In any case, my incredulity is and continues to be at AL so readily showing her insecurities in this way, because all these two Insta stories have done is to draw more attention to her response than to the articles that are mentioned. Articles that again, none of us would have known about if she hadn't shared them. Yet as was said above, I don't think there is anything that anyone could post or write that casts doubt on Michael and AL's relationship the way her own social media posts do.
And to what you @vaguelyomens and @angelsadvocate96 said about Michael mentioning that his greatest fear is being alone, I feel like maybe Michael has such a fear of being alone because he already knows what it's like to feel alone. To know deep down that you are not remotely on the same page as the person you're in a relationship with. To know that they don't understand you and never will, but feeling responsible for them nonetheless, and not knowing how to reconcile those two things. It's difficult to imagine anything that would make someone feel more alone than that.
So, those are my thoughts on the Insta stories AL shared earlier this week. As I have said before, I know that I could be completely wrong, and I'm happy for folks to share their perspective, whether you agree or disagree. A heck of a lot to think about, for sure...
#lookforthelight97#vaguelyomens#angelsadvocate96#reply post#michael sheen#welsh seduction machine#the assembly#this is cringey all around tbh#and if this is just one thing about Michael and AL's relationship that has been fudged/manipulated#it's hard not to wonder what else has been left out of the story. and why#curiouser and curiouser#also her posting those stories and attacking the media outlets with no comment from Michael feels like a one-sided conversation#the more i think about it the weirder this all seems#choices#not all of them good#but i will leave it to my followers to make up their own minds#anna lundberg#relationships#discourse

Is Sabino gonna be alive at the end?
What are the Sakina and Sabino's headcanon voice actors?
Would Magnifico break the fourth wall once he transforms into a monster or during the credits?
Do you have your own set of Villains who are ten times better than Magnifico that you take inspiration for my rewrite from him? like some of them are your most loved and hated villains?
What would be sabor’s defeat?
If Star is a prince, Does Star and and his mother shares a same familial relationship as Ariel and King Triton, Moana and Chief Tui?
Is King Magnifico planning on using WG!Star as bait to trap his mother and drain her magic or drain both of them?
Is Asha and Flazino are like cousin figures?
How did Flazino became apprentice to King Magnifico?
Hello there, @albertthewolfdog! Sorry I'm late to your ask, but here I am!
Yes! And he will perform his deleted song "A Wish Worth Making" at the end of the story to help close it out! Its actually one of the few things I'm glad the movie changed. I really like Sabino and glad they didn't kill him off.
Sabino's is still Victor Garber, I feel that was a great choice, but they didn't give him any good lines to say or have an impact on the viewer. Very underutilized. As for Sakina, I know it sounds strange, but I picked Whoopi Goldberg. WG!Sakina has a bit of sass to her (that's where Asha gets it from) but she can still be motherly and caring. She'll even have some good lines later on and in the bonus stories. I think Whoopi can make all that come through in her voice.
He will do it twice as a monster, actually! He looks at the camera and says "How's that for a climax?" when the time comes for him and Star to fight. And another when Gabo asks Amaya how did she get to the top of tower before Magnifico did. She can't explain, and neither can the King, so its a Emperor's New Groove reference!
OH YEAH!! The inspirations are Team Rocket when they're in front of a crowd, then Hades and Maleficent when they're alone together. LOVE both of those pairings, so they fit in well!
5. I haven't quite decided yet. I've been considering turning him into a regular housecat to reference Yzma's cat form, or getting injured fighting Valentino. He would begrudgingly receive care from Bazeema during his recovery.
6. Actually Star is technically a regular guy. "Wish Granted" Stars ate dubbed "star nomads", where they travel across the galaxy in the Startosphere without a permanent home. There's only one royal star, and that's the legendary wishing star that no one has actually seen in the present. Though, Star feels like a prince when he's with Asha and Asha feels like a princess when she's with Star.
As for the mother relationship question, I would say Moana and Chief Tui. Star's parents don't really understand why he wants to visit Earth so badly when he has all of space to travel in. They still love and care for him, he's just the odd kid in his family.
7. Nope, but you're close! He's using Asha's family and the Hamlet as bait so he gives her an ultimatum. Either she hands over Star and he dies, or her family dies. You are right about both he and Amaya wanting to drain Star's magic. He's going to use the staff to stab him in the chest and drain every drop out of him until he's empty. Then the two will share the celestial magic and will be able to conquer the rest of the world.
8. Yes, good eye! Its not a Disney reference, but they're similar to the Alien Force version of Ben and Gwen Tennyson. They're practically family and get along, no romance in the slightest.
9. Like the deleted scene, Flazino's wish is to study magic. For this story, its so he can help others lives be better, which is what he thought Magnifico wanted as well. He thought the job would be more glamorous or fun as he learned, but it turns out Mags doesn't actually want a successor. He plans on being in power permanently with his wife. He pretends he granted Flazi's wish and instead of studying magic, he's the errand boy, cleans the lab equipment, feeds Sabor, and is in charge of the tour guides for newcomers. Flazino just practices what he can at home and secretly takes ingredients from Amaya's potion cabinet.
He gave his wish at 18, and was surprised to hear it was getting granted so soon. Though Mags doesn't really need an apprentice, he takes Flaz on just in case something happened to him, all of his magic, power and evil will go into the apprentice. Sort of passing on his plans to him to become the next Magnifico and continue his work. That's pretty terrifying.
During the first few months of becoming the apprentice, he learned about the Hamlet through rumors in Rosas. He didn't understand why people would run away until he stumbles on seeing the king and queen crush the wishes of a couple who talked about leaving Rosas and not trusting the royals. He never saw that couple again.
He later took off one night into the forest to finds this supposed Hamlet using a tracking spell. Once he finds it, Sabino and other people tell him why they ran and what a monster the royal could be. Flazino felt so disgusted that he promised to help anyway he could. So he makes an excuse to get specialty mushroom from the Uncharted Forest once a month and brings supplies to the Hamlet ever since. (stuff like seeds to grow food, flour, medicine, toys for the kids)
And there you go! Thanks for submitting! Feel free to ask more questions whenever you like!
I'll tag you guys in case you want some extra info before my next lore drop! @oh-shtars @tumblingdownthefoxden @chillwildwave @annymation

Darkness Rising Part 1 Commentary
I felt like I'd be using the account to comment on things, so why not? Now, I will be sharing my own little head canons, so if that's not your thing just a heads up.
Right off the bat we are introduced to our first Cybertronian and it is Cliffjumper. Now, I once considered writing up my own story to send to Hasbro, something that is doomed from the start because why would they ever accept it, but with all the spotlight Bumblebee has been getting, I'd switch things around and have Cliffjumper as a member of the main cast. Red is my favourite colour after all. As for Dwayne Johnson, I personally find him an average at best actor and I haven't seen a ton of his stuff, but I have seen a fair number of portrayals of Hercules and he isn't one of my favourites, but I don't hate him either. For the record, my favourite actors are Nigel Green ("Jason and the Argonauts") and Lawrence Bayne ("Mythic Warriors"). As for Cliffjumper, I don't know, you just can't beat Casey Kasem, but on the subject of Shaggy Rogers, another Kasem role, I find Matthew Lillard to be a superior Shaggy, something that is no doubt going to get me a lot of hate, and in general I consider him a superior actor to Johnson, so maybe I think he would have been a better Cliffjumper, but at the same time I think it would have been a disservice to have such a great actor be brought in only to die in the pilot episode.
Then we get introduced to our second Cybertronian and of course, it is Arcee. I say "of course" because I love the characters who were introduced in the 1986 film. She, Hot Rod/Rodimus, Springer and Ultra Magnus would so have been included in the story I would have submitted to Hasbro. As for her altmode, it has typically been either a car or a motorcycle, but with the Transmetal 2 Maximal version of her having been a spider, I kind of feel like there was another direction to go, especially since at that point her screen appearances had two points for a car and this series brought it to three for a motorcycle and it could have been a good mirror for Airachnid, but I don't know, that's just me.
The energon on earth is a nice return to "Beast Wars", my introduction to Transformers. I really like that. I also really like seeing the Vehicons return in some form since I loved "Beast Machines."
Peter Cullen returning as Optimus is a real treat. I know we had gotten him back in the live-action films, but seeing him return to Optimus on television is just fantastic. He was actually at FanExpo last year alongside Frank Welker and I wanted to get both of their autographs, but I was not regularly working yet, I was only a call-in for a rare bookstore, and I did not know you could bring something in to get autographed, so instead of paying one hundred dollars to get an autographed picture of Megatron from Frank I could have brought in the Ultimate Guide to Transformers and gotten them both to autograph it. Maybe one day I'll have Peter's too.
Now we are introduced to Starscream voiced by the great Steve Blum. If you haven't seen the English dub for "A Cat in Paris", I highly recommend it. Blum is just fantastic in it. As for Starscream's design, I remember watching this and have no idea what I was expecting. Until the Michael Bay films, Starscream had always been recognizably Starscream. He might not have always had the same altmode (Yes, he was always a jet, but never the same kind, especially strange in my mind since I've looked it up and the F-15 Eagle is still in service, meaning unlike some characters, his altmode isn't exactly dated), then the 2007 film came and he has this head which is just not Starscream and it is the same here. I don't have the same problem with characters like Megatron because he hasn't always had a consistent design. Thankfully, Starscream's character is in tact with some variation.
Four minutes in and we have our first named casualty. Oh, God, I love it. I remember watching the 1986 film during lunch in high school with some friends and me being the only one who could actually identify them because I was such a big fan I watched the G1 episodes, I was on Unicron.com quite often. There were questions of how I knew all their names and an exclamation of "The medic?!" when I went "No! Ratchet!!" To me it hit more because I knew the names of these characters, but to someone who didn't they were just nameless casualties.
I kind of feel the same way in regards to Soundwave's design here as I do with Starscream's. It takes someone referring to him by name to know its him. I know he hasn't had many screen appearances, but his design is still recognizably him while this isn't, but on the other hand it looks so alien that I actually kind of like it.
The establishment of there being only five Autobots on earth now really makes you wonder how many others were lost. Its a nice touch.
And we are introduced to one of our human protagonists: Jack Darby. For obvious reasons, I head canon him as having gone dressed as Spider-Man one Halloween when he was younger, but for another head canon, just because, I have it that he eats shrimp with the tails. It drives both his mom and Miko crazy, Raf is indifferent and Fowler also eats the tails, thinking it adds a nice crunch.
I wonder if Arcee is the only who named their hologram driver.
While I do ship Jack and Miko, I had this head canon since before I started shipping them. June was asking if Jack was going to the dance because she'd heard someone was hosting a foreign exchange student, a girl, and thought Jack would go, meet her and hit it off. Miko was actually briefly at the dance, only to realize she felt like she didn't belong there without any friends and left soon after.
In regards to the "This is Jasper" line when Jack is told to be careful, I have the head canon that Jasper's most notorious crime was when its bank was being held up by a man wielding a taxidermy stork in the 1950's. For people who have lived there all their lives like Jack, June and Raf it is just a funny little story, but for someone like Miko she just has "WTF" flying through her head in big red letters. Sure, it sounds weird, but when your most notorious crime is some lunatic wielding a stuffed bird trying to rob a bank, what do you think is the worst that could happen?
Jack is so a motorcycle afficionado.
Ah, yes, Sierra (No Last Name) and... What was her name again?
And now we get into the action. A nice motorcycle chase, Bumblee gets into the action (my dad loved Bumbleebee) we are introduced to Raf (I have a soft spot for the glasses-wearing characters as I require them myself), it is a really good climax.
I would say robots that turn into cars is more accurate.
I actually don't have a problem with Bumblebee's more Bay film-inspired design. That is probably because due to a lack of screen appearances, unlike some characters, he didn't really have a set look. With this and "Animated" making it two for two, I'd say he has two looks.
Bumblebee accidentally stepping on Raf's toy car never fails to make me laugh.
Love how the Vehicons just call it them moment Bulkheard shows up.
And Optimus creates the Autobot Witness Protection Program.
Jack doesn't know what is going on. For all he knows, he and Raf are getting kidnapped by robots disguised as vehicles.
And now we are properly introduced to Miko, admiring the same motorcycle Jack was the day before. Fellow motorcycle aficionado?
And then Miko volunteered for the Autobot Witness Protection Program.
I love how indignant Ratchet sounds at the concept of someone having made the Autobots.
Having Megatron return is just the perfect way to end the pilot, especially since it heralds the return of Frank Welker as the character to television.
And that is the episode, great start. Thank you for reading this if you did.

Ghoulcy week Day 2 SFW
Hello everyone. We're back with the ghoulcy week. Day 2 SFW prompt is Stories and Confessions. Hope you like it. Good day. Sorry for the weird phrases or misspelling, English is not my first language. This will also be post in French.
Lucy MacLean still had a hard time telling herself that she was facing the great Cooper Howard. Even if the more she looked at him the more she saw that the features of his face corresponded. It had to be said that she had watched some of the actor's films, well all his movies to tell the truth. And there she was a few years later in front of him sharing a meal, little Lucy in her was jumping with joy. Well the guy had certainly been horrible to her at first but the young woman knows that it strangely comes from good intention, prepare her to the harsh reality that was the cruelty of the wasteland. Since she knew that her comrade had known the Earth before the bomb, the vault dweller wanted to question the ghoul about how life was before the incident but she was afraid to receive no answer.
"So sweetheart will you finally ask your question." Said the man suddenly cutting the thread of her thoughts.
"Uh... well... I mean..." Lucy began to stress but from the look of the ghoul it was better to said what was running in her mind because the man seemed soon to be out of patience.
"How was life before? Before the bomb I mean?"
Cooper was taken aback by this question but still started to answer it. He describes moments in his life, the old technology of the world that she will never see. The food he liked, his favorite restaurant. The young woman clearly drank each of his words with an attention he had never seen before. Her eyes sparkled with each descriptions and her innocent questions even made the ghoul laugh, him who believed he would never have emotions again. He wanted to continue to explain the life before to her to keep even for a moment this tender expression on her face however he began to be short of anecdotes.
"What about you? How were the famous vaults?" He could not help but ask at the end of his stories.
It was Lucy’s turn to explain her life, her childhood. The functioning of a vault, what she liked to do, the skills she had developed over the years. Life in community with all her cousins but especially with her brother whom she missed. Her voice broke a little while remembering good family memories, thinking of him was more difficult than she could have imagined. She was startled when she felt a hand on hers, so enamoured in her memory, she had not noticed that Cooper had joined her and tried to comfort her. This act made her smile, the ghoul and she had really come closer since the pooling of their respective goals. To relax the atmosphere, the young woman ended her story by explaining that she had seen all his films during her youth. Even several times. Apparently despite the divorce with Barb, the contract between him and Vault-Tec was still viable and so the vaults were all equipped with his movies.
"Norm, my brother used to make fun of me about these movies." Laughed the young woman.
"Oh? Not a western fan like you?" Replied the man while gently stroking the other’s hand.
"More the fact that I had a huge crush on the main actor" After saying these words Lucy looked away not daring to face the man after such a confession. However, the latter brought her face towards him with his fingertips.
“I’m flattered doll. But I suspect it must have been a shock to know that the handsome man your heart was beating for now looks like a monster.” His laughter sounded false even to his own ears.
“No at all. You are still that man. You still have the same effect on me anyway.”
While saying these words, the young lady brought her hand to trace delicately the contours of the ghoul’s face. The moment was suspended for both individuals, no one dared to turn away from the intense gaze of the other. No one could say who had made the first move but what they knew was that the night had ended with a kiss. The first of many. Locked in a bubble they had created, the two lovers took advantage of each minute to discover and love each other. Despite the hell of the wasteland, Lucy and Cooper had created a paradise for both of them.

Headcanons posted for my works of fiction are merely my interpretation of the respective character(s) and should not be considered as "single point of truth".
⸻ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐊: 𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐊 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭
After delivering the hazardous tank left in his care by Umbrella to Rockfort Island in December 1998, which gave HUNK a distinct feeling of his and his team’s life and safety not being particularly important to Umbrella, he wrote a note informing his employer both of the successful delivery as well as asking them to, in the future, enclose better information and detail on transportations like these.
This mission was the last HUNK agreed to work for Umbrella.
He cut ties almost simultaneously to the stock market crash that rendered the company almost immovable on the market and would later cause them to shut down completely.
In the aftermath of his employ to Umbrella, HUNK - while still in demand for his excellent skills - had to lay low for a while in turn to let the worst of the corporation crashing down blow over. Knowing that he had insight on some of Umbrella’s darkest secrets along with having worked for them in the first place, he decided the most sensible move was to head to Europe.
He tried living a normal civilian's life for about two years in which he remained mostly secluded. Unable to shake his past and what it made of him, he kept as close an eye as he could on both the trial Umbrella was faced with, as well as the general worldwide arms race which unfolded in the wake of it.
Knowing in his heart he was only truly good on the battle field, he finally decided to not let his talents go to waste. During the past years he had privately developed the Close Quarters Quarantined Battle Zone fighting technique, which he perfected by 2003, including custom-made equipment and weapons.
It was during this time that a secret underground organization contacted him while he was headed for a secluded area in Eastern Europe to hone his skills in colder terrains. A strange, massive man in a carriage who mysteriously made his way through the wilds approached him, handing him a sealed letter.
Both the contents of the letter as well as what they talked about as they shared a meal by the camp fire are unknown, but the encounter would change the former military man's life. Learning the secret skills of the trade, he found himself convinced that his skill on the battle field could not only be used for killing, but for supporting, maybe even helping those in need. To not just take life, but being able to preserve it.
In 2004 HUNK took on the guise of a merchant for the first time, sent out by the merchants guild - an organisation which closely monitored the most endangered places worldwide, sending their representatives there to collect rare goods as well as sell their skills and items.
Traveling to a remote village in Southern Europe, he so happened to run into individuals like Ada Wong, Leon S. Kennedy and others of their kind, selling them much needed ammunition during their mission in regards to the Las Plagas incident. It almost felt fated to him, he occasionally mused privately, how he would meet the individuals he knew had been in Raccoon City, where it all began, at the same time he had been there.
Collecting his own information on the side to later sell to a highest bidder, no one ever connected the merchant hiding most of his face behind a thick shawl to the mercenary named HUNK.
Note: Among other things, HUNK learned various skills to alter his appearance and even change his voice (think of the skills some voice actors have). Additionally, he may sometimes use devices hidden in his shawls to change his voice and make it even less recognizable.

Hey, I hope that everyone who’s reading this is well!
I wanted to share a few things that been on my mind regarding Sebastian and Annabelle. This is just my personal opinion, and I don't mean any disrespect. Please keep in mind that this isn’t meant to spread any hate!
First, their body language and the lack of affectionate gestures from both sides seem off. Sebastian is known to be very affectionate with his friends, family, and even fans, so it doesn’t make sense for him not to be loving towards his girlfriend.
Second, Annabelle’s posts on social media often seem really calculated. Whenever there’s news or sightings of Sebastian, she’s quick to announce that she’s tagging along or attending his events. It feels like she’s trying to make their relationship look more believable, which seems strange for a girlfriend to do.
Lastly, there’s never been a real confirmation that they’re in a relationship. In Sebastian’s past relationships, he was more open and comfortable showing off his girlfriend. With Annabelle, it feels like he’s publicly single. When he finds the right person, I think he’d keep it private at first but eventually confirm it, because a secret relationship isn’t the same as a private one. He doesn’t seem like the type to hide a relationship for too long since he’s so affectionate and loving towards the people he cares about.
I’m not saying Annabelle is a bad person. It’s just that her behavior in the relationship feels a bit off to me. I didn’t really vibe with her energy even before the rumors with Sebastian, but that’s just my personal view.
Also, I’ve noticed that some fans are obsessed with the idea of them being together and can’t even consider the possibility of him ending up with someone else, which is kind of ridiculous. Honestly, I’d love to see him in a genuine, loving, and private relationship. It doesn’t matter what she looks like, her age, or her job, just that she’s with him for who he is, not because he’s Sebastian Stan the actor. I wouldn’t even mind if he ended up with a fan, as long as she’s there for him and not for something else.
But I know if I voiced this anywhere else, I’d probably get a lot of hate, which is disappointing. Thanks for reading!
Hii, I am actually very happy you shared this here! Everything you said is so polite and nicely said... If anyone accuses you of hating, I will personally throw my hands up.
All your points are fantastic. And as you might know, I think the same.
I didn't vibe personally with her either (bc her problematic behavioir and the posh superior attitude, her acting etc), but that doesn't mean we have our opinion about their relationship based on that.
Things are so clear... their behavious is so obvious.
But thise fans project themselves so badly on her (and their wishes to marry him, have his kids etc... fanatic) they do not want her gone. They can deny it all they want.

Similar in the way cousins are
(im assuming this is re: this rb’ed post about annie edison from community & sophie devereaux from leverage. sorry if im totally incorrect lol)
yeah exactly!! like they have some huge differences in their character traits, including the archetypes they fit, but just some things……
both are - as the original post says - good at manipulating, terrible at acting (but think they’re great actors).
both tend to have friendship/relationship problems that are the result of that manipulation. annie often lies or manipulates people and then does the "disney face" as jeff calls it iirc, to get pity lol. sophie cons the team in season 1 and can’t really apologise.
both of them often attempt to be The Voice Of Reason TM (annie in an intellectual/logical way, sophie in an emotional intelligence way) but both are very much just as unhinged as the rest of their study group/team members.
both are obsessed w the most wet cat of a man to ever exist, but the arcs of jeff/annie and nate/sophie are very different in important ways. nate/sophie end up together. the series is very focused on changing these characters for the better, so they’re both in a better position to be in a healthy relationship.
annie starts off trying to be the respectable, sweet, smart, valedictorian-to-be. as the series progresses, she drops that act more and more and reveals her weirdness more openly, for better or worse lol. sophie starts off with a million masks, not really even knowing herself what’s underneath. and attempting to be the femme fatale to nate’s hardboiled quasi-detective, but eventually reveals her quirks and allows herself to be silly.
annie & abed vs sophie & parker. discuss.
nah but i always thought annie’s whole "trying to force abed to be more empathetic" thing in "Virtual Systems Analysis" was ironic bc she is not very empathetic. or, i guess… whether or not she feels empathy for people, she can do some very selfish or hurtful things if it’s in her own best interests. and it reminds me of a post i saw (which i need to find…) about the early sophie & parker relationship, how sophie is basically like "why can’t you just mask, i invented 300000 masks which i change every hour, it’s not that hard". as if her extreme way of dealing with social situations was the Normal And Healthy Way, and also obviously not considering that parker is autistic. sometimes i think annie’s frustrations with abed in that ep are kinda the same, like… annie, my love, you are so weird and bad at socialising, and you do really strange things to try to seem more normal or get your way (like manipulation), how in the world are you critiquing abed?? for simply being autistic?? it’s tinged with some self-hatred too i think, like she’s so intent on abed acting "normal" (ie, neurotypical) because she puts so much effort into acting "normal", in a different way. and from abed’s end, it’s just like… maybe being yourself is more worthwhile than obsessively covering up every insecurity or quirk or vulnerability to the point it consumes you. similar thing with sophie & parker. idk if im explaining that very well but yeah.
so definitely, they’re not super similar, but… cousins. yes. exactly. they share some features, enough that you can make the connection.

PMK DVD Booklet Interviews 4
Thanks to @/pmkloveadmin and their kind friend yuunsoba who provided the raws for these interviews! Here’s the fourth set; please enjoy!
INTERVIEW 11 SHIMADA KAI (Voice actor: Iwasaki Masami)
Please tell us your genuine reaction to the announcement of the movie project.
Surprise! Deep emotion! My enthusiasm gushed forth! Even now, our relationships carry on!
Please tell us your genuine reaction to your first read-through of the script.
In my heart, I felt a deep sympathy for the kind and strong men who lived through the fierce Bakumatsu era. It’s a painful thing.
How was it, revisiting this character after so long? Please tell us your impression of the performance and anything you kept in mind while acting.
Shimada Kai is the kind of person who lived his life righteous in both body and mind. I’m happy to play him.
What scene do you think has the biggest impact, and what scene do you want people to pay attention to?
The scene where a man known as a demon shows utmost kindness. Rather than communicating it directly, it’s communicated through feeling.
This is a story about the Shinsengumi’s great ambitions. After this, what sort of challenges do you want to tackle?
I’ll try to live each day to its fullest and proceed with diligence in mind.
Finally, please leave a message for the fans who watch this series.
I think the most important things remain the same for everyone, regardless of what sticks in each person’s heart or how differently they feel things. Viva Peacemaker Kurogane! Thank you!
INTERVIEW 12 KONDO ISAMI (Voice actor: Takaya Hasi)
Please tell us your genuine reaction to the announcement of the movie project.
I thought, “woah! They’re doing it!” After that, I was just immediately excited that I would get to work with everyone again. They’re fun friends.
Please tell us your genuine reaction to your first read-through of the script.
I ended up looking back on my own youth while reading about these young boys who were swallowed by the big wave of the turning point of that time. Even I get sentimental sometimes, you know?
How was it, revisiting this character after so long? Please tell us your impression of the performance and anything you kept in mind while acting.
As far as Kondo-san goes in this work, we share the same thoughts and opinions. I’m always trying to bring that with me.
What scene do you think has the biggest impact, and what scene do you want people to pay attention to?
Many lines and scenes left a personal impact on me, but I won’t say what they were. It’s everything that will stay in the hearts of those who watch.
This is a story about the Shinsengumi’s great ambitions. After this, what sort of challenges do you want to tackle?
Rather than looking for a challenge, I’m just looking forward to seeing how I might change in the future. I think I’m going to become a strange old man… Nyahaha!
Finally, please leave a message for the fans who watch this series.
Thank you very much. I’m grateful to everyone who watched.
INTERVIEW 13 SAYA (Takahashi Mikako)
Please tell us your genuine reaction to the announcement of the movie project.
I was really surprised! And happy to be able to reprise the role that I played over 10 years ago at the very start of my career. The theatrical release also made me realize just how much and for how long fans have loved the work.
Please tell us your genuine reaction to your first read-through of the script.
“I have to take care!” I got really fired up when I thought about how I could film Saya’s first love as she grew up and her life in Shimabara. After that, when I thought about Saya, I got sad and cried a bit. Saizo was a twist, I was worried he wouldn’t appear (laughs). I was relieved that he did. After all, a mascot character is totally necessary! It’s hard to find such a cute pig with such a grumpy expression.
How was it, revisiting this character after so long? Please tell us your impression of the performance and anything you kept in mind while acting.
My chest was so full that I couldn’t see what was around me (laughs). As expected, considering it’s been over 10 years since I played this role. I felt all emotions strongly, both happiness and sadness. I played her with a more mature voice this time, but I kept the innocence she has about her and was careful not to raise my voice too much. I think my heart was just naturally moved when I heard Tetsu’s lines. I just leave Saizo’s voice all up to chance! (laughs)
What scene do you think has the biggest impact, and what scene do you want people to pay attention to?
Saito-san’s line, “even if it’s just for a second, the time will come when you miss this” really left a deep impression. Since the Shinsengumi is the theme here, I thought it was apt when applied to each and every member. I also want you to pay attention to Tetsu bonking Saya’s head! I could cry! And the cry of Tetsu’s heart at the very end just punched me in the chest!
This is a story about the Shinsengumi’s great ambitions. After this, what sort of challenges do you want to tackle?
All I want to do now is travel alone! I’ve been to Hiroshima in Kanto and Seoul, South Korea before, but I want to go somewhere far away for the first time in ages. I want to ride the Ueda Electric Railway Bessho line in Nagano, visit Bessho onsen, eat delicious local food and enjoy Japan to the fullest.
Finally, please leave a message for the fans who watch this series.
The history of the Shinsengumi really focuses on the daily lives of regular people, and I think you can get the sense that some things don’t change even when the times do. It’d make me happy if you could empathize with Saya’s tragic feelings and accept Saizo’s warmth. Thanks both to the people who have supported us all this time, and to everyone watching for the first time! Please continue to love us moving forward, too! ♥
INTERVIEW 14 YAMATOYA SUZU (Tachibana Shinnosuke)
Please tell us your genuine reaction to the announcement of the movie project.
The drama CD ended a while ago, so I was quite surprised to hear suddenly about a movie project. But that surprise quickly turned to excitement.
Please tell us your genuine reaction to your first read-through of the script.
The conversational drama that happens between people in this story is interesting, of course, but another highlight are the battle scenes. It was a lot of fun to see it in motion.
How was it, revisiting this character after so long? Please tell us your impression of the performance and anything you kept in mind while acting.
Even in the anime, Suzu’s nastiness was alive and well, so I was able to play him to the utmost while having a great time.
What scene do you think has the biggest impact, and what scene do you want people to pay attention to?
Oh geez, I would say “everything”! (laughs) I think that it won’t give you even a second where you’ll want to take your eyes away!! So please keep them open and watch from the very start to the very end (laughs).
This is a story about the Shinsengumi’s great ambitions. After this, what sort of challenges do you want to tackle?
I want to do too many things, I can’t write them all here (laughs).
Finally, please leave a message for the fans who watch this series.
A work that was already interesting as a drama CD finally became a movie!! How was it? This is the first part, so I’m sure you’re already excited about the next. Surely there will be a lot of Suzu in part 2… no… I’ll really be in trouble if there isn’t (laughs). So please wait a little longer until then! ☆

Tina! Would you miiind giving us some info regarding Kaeya and Albedo's relationship? Please feel free to give as many details as you like!
// Leans in.
You DARE open up that particularly HEFTY chapter of my ' Albedo Ships ' book? Well, go on and pull up a chair, some snacks, and a blanket. You'll be here a bit.
Now, I shall preface this by saying I ship with multiple Kaeya muses, and they've all brought something different to the table. Both Kaeya and Albedo have a LOT of potential when it comes to canon divergent plot lines, so no two interactions are ever the same, and I love that. It's an extremely flexible ship, which I value when it comes to shipping with multiples of the same character.
I started shipping them because of Kaeya's voice lines about Albedo, and the fact that Albedo draws Kaeya in his spare time, which means they've spent time together, and they've built SOME level of trust for one another. Albedo's voice actor ships it, too, AND M//hyo has come out with official works for each of them, where the other is featured somewhere in it. It's heavily supported, fandom wise and canon wise, that, at the very least, Kaeya means a lot to Albedo, and vice versa. Kaeya never calls Albedo strange, or awkward, or difficult to be around . . . he only ever compliments him and hypes up his artwork, and I think that's EXTREMELY cute.
Just . . . their dynamic is beautiful, and I just know something tragic is going to happen to one or both of them, considering their shared connections to Khaenri'ah, and Albedo's artificial origins. When that time comes, and I say WHEN, because M//hyo is VERY good at destroying hearts, I will not be okay.
#[ shoutout to my kaeyas for feeding me.#and shoutout to the other kaeyas and albedos who write kaebedo for ALSO feeding me.#we're doing the lord's work. ]#but also... :) shoutout to you for sending this in. thank you love. <333 ]]#muse ;; ALBEDO ( ABOUT )

OKAY! So I’m back again with some updates. I realized after I posted this that I totally neglected to mention a game (Tell Me Why), and then I have since played Twin Mirror so here’s a quick little addition.
I'm still planning on updating this once I finish TWD games/The Wolf Among us (which I do own but haven't played yet).
TELL ME WHY
Tell Me Why is a game released in 2020 that was exclusive to Xbox and PC, as it was fully funded for Dontnod (the same people who made Life is Strange) by Microsoft.
The game follows Tyler and Alyson, twins who reunite in their childhood hometown of Delos Crossing, Alaska in order to sell the home they grew up in. And of course that comes with it's own struggles.
When the two of them were children, Tyler was threatened by their mother with a gun (presumed to be because he cut his hair) which resulted in him killing her out of self-defense. Now adults, and not having seen each other since that night, they try to piece together what actually happened.
And of course it wouldn't be a Dontnod game without superpowers, so the twins share the ability to talk telepathically and relive shared memories, but both of them remember it slightly differently so it's your job as the player to pick which memory you want to believe/think is correct in order to build the story. You complete puzzles and make choices to get to the real truth of the last night they were together and what kind of shady stuff is hiding underneath the small town charm of Delos Crossing.
One thing I can not praise enough about this game is the way they handled a very serious topic: Tyler being trans. And while I personally feel I can't speak too much to that (given I'm cis), I can explain the facts that I do know.
In the game, when showing clips of the younger set of twins, they never once deadname Tyler. They simply refer to each character as "Young Tyler" and "Young Alyson" and anytime one of the flashbacks is saying his name, it's one of Tyler's first chosen names from when he was younger. Tyler's voice actor is also a trans man as well. From what I've heard, the in-game topic is handled well, but again, don't really feel qualified to speak on that.
Honestly, it's a great game and they've made it available for free every June to celebrate Pride Month, so if you're interested, you can get it now for free! (Only available on Xbox or PC as it was created by Microsoft)
TWIN MIRROR (spoilers)
Now this is a game I recently played, so I have some fresh thoughts on it! Twin Mirror was another Dontnod game released in 2020 (and honestly I think it got overshadowed by Tell Me Why cause it seems nobody knew it came out).
The game follows Sam Higgs, a former investigative journalist as he revisits his hometown of Basswood, West Virginia for the funeral of his close friend, Nick. Upon arrival, Nick's daughter, Joan, confides in him that she doesn't think that Nick's death was an accident-- that it was actually murder. Sam begins on this mission to get down to the bottom of what actually happened to Nick, alongside his former girlfriend, Anna.
You as the player make choices and investigate into the murder, but it wouldn't be a Dontnod game without supernatural powers-- as aforementioned. And in Twin Mirror, Sam has an inner voice called Him who tries to give him advice on what to say and do, sometimes misleading him in the process. There's also this place called the Mind Palace where Sam often seeks solace in, which is often used to show memories of things that happened when he used to live in Basswood.
The ending to the game reminds me a lot of Beyond: Two Souls, in which at the end of it all, Sam is faced with a choice: to follow himself (and by proxy, lose Him), or keep Him and become a more detached version of himself.
---
Anyway! That's the update for now! As I continue playing more of the games on my to-play list, I'll be sure to update this post <3
Tell me about other choice based games, also have you ever played oxenfree?
Ooh boy. For starters, I saw this and went "oh god where do I start" so that's a warning for what lies ahead. PS: Have not played Oxenfree and don't know what it is but I will look it up.
This is a spoiler-free zone unless otherwise stated in the headings btw :)
I know you know about Until Dawn so I'm not gonna touch that. But that being said I have to mention the Dark Pictures Anthology since that wasn't listed in the post :D.
THE DARK PICTURES ANTHOLOGY
The Dark Pictures Anthology is another choice-based game created by Supermassive Games, which made Until Dawn. Where Until Dawn was 8 hours long, The Dark Pictures games are all much shorter, with Man of Medan and Little Hope around 4 hours, and House of Ashes being at 6.
Each one of the Dark Pictures games is based roughly on a real-life event. Man of Medan is the Ourang Medan ship, Little Hope is the Salem Witch Trials, and House of Ashes takes place during the Iraq War. And the upcoming game Devil in Me is rumored to be based on the murder hotel of HH Holmes. Of course, with each came the fabrication of the threat/monster.
The games themselves are hit or miss. Personally, I enjoyed House of Ashes the most out of the three, followed by Man of Medan, and then Little Hope (I hated the ending but won't spoil it). I think one of the reasons I did like HoA best, is because of the length, they were able to build the characters more and make you like them and wanna save them, which the other two I felt lacked in that department.
In the end, the way they set up the games was very similar to Until Dawn (and on the off chance someone is reading these and doesn't know), one of the big components of all choice-based games is that you can save or kill any number of the playable characters: Alex, Julia, Conrad, Fliss, and Brad in Man of Medan. Andrew, Taylor, Daniel, Angela, and John in Little Hope. And Eric, Rachel, Salim, Jason, and Nick in House of Ashes.
The one tie-through of those games is the recurring character The Curator (who fans flock to partially due to his dump truck ass). He warns you of what's to come in weird puzzle-like riddles, can flat out give you hints, and overall in my opinion seems like you're talking to The Grim Reaper or Death. In his office he has a bookshelf where there is a series of books with symbols on them to represent the four games (which I will have tattooed on me now!): a little ship for Man of Medan, a stick figure doll for Little Hope, an eclipse for House of Ashes, and a compass (although I keep wanting to call it a protractor) for Devil in Me.
Anyway! That's the Dark Pictures. On to the next one... one that hasn't even come out yet lol.
THE QUARRY
So this game is the next game slated to be released by Supermassive Games (on June 10th). It has been released that the game is a "spiritual successor" to Until Dan and like that game, follows a stellar star-studded cast featuring David Arquette as Chris Hackett, Justice Smith as Ryan, Ted Raimi as Travis, Brenda Song as Kaitlyn, Halston Sage as Emma, Skylar Gisando as Max Binly, Siobhan Williams as Laura, Ariel Winter as Abigail, Evan Evagora as Nick, Miles Robbins as Dylan, Zach Tinker as Jacob, Lance Henriksen as Jedediah, Ethan Suplee as Bobby, Lin Shaye as Constance, and last but not least Grace Zabriskie as Eliza.
The game is announced to be 10 hours long and the first 30 minutes (aka the prologue) have been released on IGN. The Quarry follows 9 summer camp counselors (Max, Laura, Ryan, Dylan, Nick, Abigail, Emma, Jacob, and Kaitlyn) on the last night of camp at Hackett's Quarry, and some spooky shit starts happening.
Also the character Eliza has been confirmed to be almost a Curator/Dr. Hil type of harbinger of things to come which is kinda cool.
From what I've seen of the teasers and stuff, my theory is that it's werewolves and possibly a situation of the campers being hunted by humans (think The Most Dangerous Game). But nothing is confirmed that's just what I think.
From what I've seen, I'm VERY excited for this game's release. 45 days so the hype is building!
HIDDEN AGENDA
Ah yes, the shortest choice based game. Created by Supermassive Games to show off a functionality of the PS4, which I don't think was used for any other game, lol.
The game follows Becky Marney (played by Katie Cassidy) as she investigates the claims that the guy they've had in custody/on death row for being The Trapper killer-- calling card boobytrapping the bodies of his victims to kill the first responders too-- claims he isn't the actual trapper but has been taking the fall for his friend Adam.
Throughout the very short 2 hour game, you play as Becky and Felicity Graves who are trying to figure out if the claims of the alleged Trapper are true. Once again it plays into the choice based to where both of the characters can die in an attempt to solve the murders.
It's a fun game! It's just built as a party game with the feature using your phones as the controller and the functionality to (when playing as a group) have Hidden Agenda's in order to get people to react one way or another to choices, although there is a single player mode where you don't have that but it's still on your phone.
Anyway you can watch my stream here!
Onto another developer! Quantic Dream (or David Cage). I remember watching one playthrough of Until Dawn and someone comparing it to Heavy Rain, which is next up.
HEAVY RAIN
Heavy Rain was (from what I know) the first game to follow through on the "your choices actually matter" as far as choice-based games go. It was released in 2010 and follows the story of Ethan Mars whose son has been kidnapped by the infamous Origami Killer that has been taunting the city for years. The calling card is that the kid goes missing in broad daylight and the father of the sons (it's always boys) receives a series of trials they must go through as a test to see if they're a good enough dad to save their son. Each trial succeeded gives Ethan a few entries into a really sucky Hangman game that when fully completed gives him the address of where his son is.
That being said, you also play as Madison, a reporter who is writing an article about the Origami Killer and accidentally falls in love with Ethan, Norman (or as I mimic his Boston accent, Nahman) Jayden who is an FBI agent sent to investigate this serial killer, and Scott Shelby who is a private investigator hired by the parents of the missing kids to help the police in their investigation.
Over the span of the game, you complete the trials as Ethan and investigate the crimes as Jayden and Shelby, ultimately finding out who the killer is and bringing them to justice.
And the best part? You can kill or save all of them in a number of ways (including Ethan's son who you never play as but still).
I played this game a few years ago and while the graphics have aged with time, it is still a fantastic game and if you haven't played it (or watched a stream) I recommend it. Here is my personal stream of the game if you wanna check it out.
DETROIT: BECOME HUMAN
In 2018, Quantic Dream released its most recent game, Detroit: Become Human, which much like Heavy Rain makes good on it's promise to create a game where your choices do really matter. And this time, the graphics are UNREAL. It's roughly 10 hours long and follows the city of Detroit, Michigan way in the future (I'd say nearly 80 years from now but I don't know the exact date). In this future, we have developed a humanoid Android robot to do pretty much every job for us that we don't want to/can't do for ourselves.
The game follows 3 story lines where you're playing as the androids Kara (played by Valorie Curry), Marcus (played by Jesse Williams), and Connor (played by Bryan Dechart). Connor is a police assistant android whose mission is to help figure out why androids are slowly becoming sentient ("deviant") and exhibiting human-like traits like having emotions. Marcus, who has become deviant and with a group of others, begins to lead a resistance to show humans that they just want to be treated as equals (noted: your resistance can be peaceful or riot-like depending on your choices). And Kara starts off as a nanny/maid for a family but rescues the little girl from her abusive father and runs away in search of a better life for both of them.
Their stories start off separate but soon overlap with Kara ending up seeking help from Marcus, and Connor hunting down the shelter of deviant androids who are apart of the resistance. And like all the others, you can kill or save all three of the main characters along with the non-playable side ones (North, Simon, Josh, and Luther).
Once again. 10/10 game. My stream is linked here.
BEYOND: TWO SOULS (spoilers)
Another game by Quantic Dream, Beyond: Two Souls is different. Where as the other games give opportunities for the characters to die throughout the game and alter how it ends that way, Beyond has a pretty strict choice based nature.
The plot is you follow Jodie (played by Elliot Page) as she grows up and learns to make sense/become friends with the entity she was born linked to. She starts off as a child who is undergoing tests led by Nathan Dawkins (played by Willem Dafoe), eventually gets recruited by the CIA, and falls in love. The whole time you're playing as Jodie and her entity Aiden (pronounced eye-den not like how you'd normally say aye-den).
Eventually the game builds up as Jodie begins to learn where Aiden came from and why they are bonded and it ends with a big choice.
Either die and join Aiden in the afterlife, or live and have her ties to Aiden be severed. If you choose to live you also have the choice of being able to be in the established romantic relationship with CIA agent Ryan (played by Eric Winter).
Not gonna lie the first time I played the game I had to sit and stare at the screen after it ended cause it hit differently personally for me (as someone who also lost a twin prior to birth-- like Jodie with Aiden). But it was still fantastic nonetheless.
LIFE IS STRANGE (spoilers)
2015 was a good year for games. Because it gave us Until Dawn, and Life is Strange. LiS is the first game of a series created by Dontnod and Square Enix. It follows protagonist Max Caulfield as she discovers she has the ability to rewind time because she witnesses her best friend Chloe Price get shot at the hands of Nathan Prescott (the entitled rich kid).
She rewinds and manages to save Chloe, but her choice creates a ripple in time as she begins to see visions of the town of Arcadia Bay destroyed in a huge tornado.
The game goes on and on as you (along with Chloe) investigate the mysterious disappearance and eventual discovery of the murder of Chloe's "friend" (*cough* girlfriend) Rachel Amber.
But as you continue playing, you keep having to use Max's rewind powers in order to save Chloe's ass more than once and that leads to the dramatic choice at the end of the game: Sacrifice Arcadia Bay (and everyone living in it) to save Chloe, or Sacrifice Chloe to save the Bay-- also called Bay or Bae due to an option to be romantically involved with Chloe throughout the game.
Personally I think that ending is amazing because it really says a lot about what people value as they choose which one to save. It's a phenomenon known at the Trolley Problem and honestly so interesting. It's one of the reasons I love watching people play it for the first time/discussing the choice with others.
LIFE IS STRANGE: BEFORE THE STORM
Ah yes, Before the Storm, which was an interesting addition to the LiS universe. It's a prequel to the original game where you instead play as Chloe Price in the year prior to Rachel's disappearance while she is also dealing with the grieving of her father's death and mother's eventual remarriage with the security guard David Madsen.
Where as the main LiS game is split into 5 episodes, this game is only 3 (with an optional 4th as part of the deluxe edition). And in the original 3, you basically get a glimpse into Chloe and Rachel's friendship/relationship if you choose that path.
You witness Rachel's parental issues and the drama that comes with that, an accidental wildfire, you get to participate in Blackwell's production of The Tempest, and play DnD with Chloe's friends Steph and Mikey.
As for episode 4 (titled "Farewell"), you get to see the day that everything goes wrong for Chloe. Max announces her family is moving to Seattle on the same day that her dad dies in a horrific car crash. This episode made me BAWL my eyes out, mainly due to the fact it ends with Max leaving Chloe a tape in which she promises to keep in touch with her after she's gone, and in my playthrough of the main game, I chose Bay and therefore they never see one another again after she leaves.
Overall, the game is a great addition to the series. And it really gives a glimpse into Rachel Amber's personality and why exactly her and Chloe were so close. You can watch my stream here.
LIFE IS STRANGE 2
Not gonna lie this game is heavy, topic wise. The story follows brothers Sean and Daniel Diaz who are on the run from police after an incident of police brutality that left their dad dead (which resulted in Daniel discovering he has telekinesis powers and accidentally killed the cop who killed his dad.)
The two of them, now wanted criminals, start hitchhiking down the west coast of America heading for Mexico where their dad's family lives. Along the way they run into a LOT of trouble. They work on a pot farm, accidentally have a run-in with a religious cult, and reconnect with their mother who'd abandoned them years prior and stay with her in her desert commune.
One thing I really liked about this game is while it exists in it's own space, there are callbacks to the original LiS game (being able to see Arcadia Bay in either ruins or thriving, and getting to interact with David Madsen on the commune with different interactions based on the ending of main game). Also I felt it delivered more on the choices mattering. Where as I felt LiS's didn't matter aside from the ending one, this game mattered a lot more and had several endings.
Throughout the game you're playing as Sean (the older brother) and depending on how you choose to essentially raise Daniel while on your journey, the game can end in a number of ways which I really liked. Even if the looming topic was very heavy.
LIFE IS STRANGE: TRUE COLORS
The last one! Woo! If you've read this far consider me giving you a pat on the back cause good god did I write a lot about these.
True Colors follows the story of Alex Chen, a young girl who moves to Haven Springs, Colorado to live with her brother Gabe whom she hasn't seen in several years to being separated in the foster care system.
Everything seems too good to be true, and it is. After a shady event in the mountains of Haven, Gabe ends up dead in a horrific matter (not a spoiler it's in the trailer) and now Alex is in a new place with a load of strangers as she attempts to figure out how to navigate the loss of her brother.
And it wouldn't be a LiS game without a superpower, though Alex's is a little less farfetched. She's an empath, who can sense people's emotions and if they are too strong, can become overwhelmed with them.
You go through the story, learning all about Haven's (shady) past as you search for exactly why Gabe died. You become friends with the locals, and possibly even have a romantic relationship with either the rugged (and handsome) park ranger, Ryan Lucan, or the town's local nerd and radio DJ Steph (who is the same Steph that is friends with Chloe in Before the Storm-- a great call back!).
The game also had an option to have a DLC (called "Wavelengths") in which you are playing as Steph along her journey and transition from living in Arcadia Bay to living in Haven Springs and you get to actually be a radio DJ which was my fav part. It also confronts her dealing with the fallout of the events of the main game and how she processes it.
That's all about the games I have played!
THE OTHERS
So I may have a lot of experience in these games, but there are still some I know that exist that I have not played yet. Those being Twin Mirror (created by Dontnod), The Walking Dead series, and I guess now Oxenfree -- I assume it's one as well. I do own Twin Mirror but haven't played yet, and the other's are on my to-buy list!
Thanks for reading!
Sorry I go on about this! This is just scratching the surface.

List of my upcoming works (March - April 2022)
Click here to see my finished works.
Chapter 2 Release Date: 17 APRIL 2022
Pairing: Eren Jaeger X Female Reader
Genre: Pornstar AU, Smut, Fluff
Summary: Over the last four years, you’ve become a rising star in the adult entertainment industry. Yet, you can’t seem to forget one of the actors you met in the very beginning of your career — Eren Jaeger. You might even say you’ve got a bit of a crush on him with how often you watch his videos. When you’re hired by Bellesa Films to shoot a sex video, they allow you to choose your partner, and without hesitation you state out his name. While the sex is bliss, like nothing you’ve ever experienced before, you’re ignorant to the truth behind your years-long crush.
Snippet:
On Zeke’s cue, Eren and Porco entered you and Pieck at the same time, pushing you both forward and forcing your lips to meet. You moaned when you felt Pieck’s mouth parting yours, her slick tongue plunged and plundered. Eren sank his nails a little harder on Pieck’s hips as he pounded his hips faster, encouraged by the pretty sounds of your whine. Eren had watched his fair share of porn, but damn, none of those girls ever sounded as sensual as you.
How are you going to sound when you moan my name? he wondered.
You broke away from the kiss, letting out a little, “ah, ah, ah,” with every thrust Porco gave you. Eren’s eyes darkened. Jealousy gnawing at his chest like a hungry wolf.
It should’ve been me. It should’ve been me. It should’ve been me.

Chapter 3 Release Date: 10 APRIL 2022
Pairing: Eren Jaeger X Female Reader
Genre: College AU, Spider-Man/Spider-Girl AU, Fluff, Smut,
Summary: Eren, a 21-year-old virgin college student who loves his camera a little bit too much, has a crush on you. Every night, he switches on his camera and talks about you but he never could find the courage to speak to you in real life. Strangely enough, he finds it easy for him to befriend Spider-Girl, the crime fighting vigilante, not knowing that you both share the same identity.
Snippet:
Maybe it’s better to not indulge his wish. It’s wiser for you to stay away from him and keep whatever is going on between you right now professional. But when he asks you with that gorgeous smile, “Thank you, Spider-Girl. Can I treat you to some coffee?” It’s really hard for you to say no.
But thank God, you manage. “With my costume on? Very funny, Jaeger.”
“Or you can take your costume off.” He grins, almost mischievously, which adds another level to his attractiveness. “Unless you’re telling me you’re naked down there?”
He is flirting with you, almost very uncharacteristically so, not to mention inappropriate. What’s really funny is the part where you’re upset over the fact that he’s flirting with Spider-Girl when he’s supposed to be flirting with you—the real version of you.
Wait, you reconsider with a puckish smile slowly forming on your lips, how funny would it be if he falls for me and Spider-Girl at the same time, only to find out later on that we’re the same person? He’s going to freak out.
See, moments like this make you wonder if you truly have what it takes to be a superheroine because clearly, you think more like a villain than anything else.
“And what if I do?” You ask him back, your voice dripping with allure. “What if I am naked underneath my costume? Would you still want me to take it off for you?”

Chapter 2 Release Date: 24 APRIL 2022
Pairing: Eren Jaeger X Female Reader
Genre: Domestic AU, Rockstar/Band AU, Fluff, Smut, Slice of Life
Summary: Your husband may be one of the hottest rockstars in the world right now, but when he's at home, he's nothing but a doting father that spends too much time braiding his daughter's hair and cooking his son's favorite food, and an insatiable lover who needs his morning wood to be taken care of at six in the morning.
Snippet:
“Daddy, are you leaving?” Irene says with a pout, looking up at her father. She has one hand holding her drawing, another one gripping Jace’s smaller hand.
Eren squats down on the floor, matching his daughter’s height. “Yes, Sweetheart, but only for a little while.” When her pout grows bigger, he spreads his arms wide. “Come here. Daddy will make you feel better with a hug.” She immediately leaps toward his chest, knocking some air out of his lungs. Eren falls back on his behind, laughing as he winds his arms around her tiny shoulders.
“Ren,” you stop his laughter. “You forgot the little one.”
His eyes widen, noticing the way Jace is standing awkwardly on his feet with his hands behind his back, hiding his drawing. “Oh my God, I’m the worst,” Eren says, seconds away from slapping himself on the face. “Come here, little man!” The little boy breaks into a smile, jumping into his arms almost exactly like the way his sister did. Eren falls back on the carpeted floor with the biggest grin on his face, two kids resting their heads on his chest.
“Now, what about me?” You question.
“Oh, right, I forgot about the biggest baby here,” he teases, playfully rolling his eyes at you. He picks his babies in his arms as he rises back to his feet, and you welcome him into your embrace. “Yay, group hug!” Eren shouts, followed by his kids doing the same thing. You can feel the happiness that radiates off of him, seeping into your soul, and you let it stay within.

Consequences (Javier Peña)
Is it a drabble? A thought? I don’t know. Just today I watched *that* scene with the bullet being returned to Carrillo, if you know what I'm talking about. As before, it hurt my heart. Wagner Moura is an incredible actor because it took me a while to see him in the same way after that episode.
ANYWAY
This is purely playful, sad and my eyes were teary as I wrote. I felt the need to share with you.
Words: 656
Warnings: Talks about grief, PTSD, violence, nightmares and difficult feelings. Angst. Really angst. Sorry.
------------------------------
Javier saw the fire, the cars, the body.
It plagued him every night as a damn reminder of how it all ended. He would get up, run his hands over his sweaty face and feel it all over again for a few seconds - the agony, the grief. As before, it felt like an eternity.
Sometimes, when it was too loud, Chucho would ask if he was okay, but no one would mention the name of the person who haunted his nightmares with a lifeless look that adorned a bloodied face.
Steve would call and, again, no one would bring up the subject. Medellín, Colombia, Escobar… None of that was the subject of the brief conversations that the two had, sharing things so routine that Javier found it strange. He carried it all around with him as if it were some private guilt, as if he had made a promise he couldn't keep and that wouldn't leave him alone for the rest of his life.
That was when Juliana called.
She had the number, despite never having taken such action, but that day happened and there were brief minutes of silence on the line, the two not caring if that call would be more absurdly expensive than it already would be. Juliana gave a weak sigh and, in the background, Javier heard a stuffy nose, probably being sniffled from a considerably difficult episode of tears.
He swallowed hard, pressed the phone to his ear and closed his eyes.
He respected you a lot, she said, voice choked and ready to fail at any moment. Javier felt his heart sink at that – he didn't feel worthy of the respect of someone who had trusted them too much. Trusted him. It was an hour long conversation. She did most of the talking, of course, and he listened patiently.
When he hung up, he stared at the phone on the cradle for a few moments and clenched his fists tightly. Chucho asked who had called but got no response. What he saw was a glimpse of his own son grabbing a jacket and heading out the ranch door, heading for the pasture or the barn or wherever.
Because it was night, Javier couldn't see much as he took firm steps across the ground, unstoppable and determined with his eyes on the ground, the sky and sometimes around, looking for something.
He saw a tree, stopped in front of it and took a deep breath. Fingernails were digging into his palms, reflecting the anxiety that was making his heart beat faster. Impatient, he ran his hands through his hair and squeezed his eyes shut, as if searching for an answer that didn't exist or that he simply didn't know or believe.
His mind went to that unreturned radio call. For all the times you've witnessed things that seemed too inhuman for anyone. For what Escobar did with the attitude of the only one who seemed capable of winning that war until it was lost in hatred, revenge and strength.
You know it's not your fault, Juliana said as if reading his mind. The things Horacio did, the way… He understood his role and he trusted you because the two of you shared the kind of brotherhood rare in an endless, cowardly struggle. I didn't call to say it hurts less after all this time, but I know he wanted you to know that any mistakes he may have made were intended to free his people. He was stubborn enough not to see himself as a loss to all of us, but we both know that death wasn't enough to make up for what Pablo Escobar took from us.
Today would have been his birthday. I don't know about your faith, but believe me when I say that I feel like he asked me to tell you something.
It was the first time Javier had truly mourned the loss, taken by confusing and twisting things that put him in cruel pain. He leaned against that same tree and replayed her words in his own mind.
That war is over. You need to let him go.
