Five Pebbles is so funny. Shoutout to characters who learn to prioritize compassion but still have the same deep-rooted self-actualization and self-worth issues they always had. Shoutout to characters who use compassion as a bludgeon to hurt themselves with under the guise of self-sacrifice. Shoutout to the guilt that drives one to heap blame upon themself until they feel the only way to atone is through punishment. That’s just as much about inflicting misery upon yourself as it is about helping the person you hurt. Get therapy king.

Also, the original ending test for "WHO WANTS TO BE THE EMPEROR?" Definitely not within jam restrictions, and I had to scrap it because I definitely did not have the words to get there in a satisfying way, but I still like it. (For context, I won't explain the guard's dialogue, but I will explain that there was supposed to be an earlier line about there being music at the villa - full of rich politicians - that they couldn't hear over the rain.) At the very least, it helped me decide that animated sprites were worth it for this project!

*powerfull love ballad about love and trust and how difficult opening up is but how sometimes it's worth trying and how much the narrator (and by consequence Eda) regrets that their lack of trust ruined a good thing*

Fuck it. Jumping on the "Prove the Pansear Screenshots weren't Faked" bandwagon. Seeing so many people blindly cheer and reblog that callout post legitimately almost made me delete my blog in fear. I don't blame Pan for deleting at all and don't think that's automatic proof of guilt. No one cared about any potential victims, no one cared if someone got hurt, they just bragged about how "they've always known" and that's terrifying. If the screenshots turn out to be true i'll retract my statement and apologize, but for now im just scared for the rw community and where its headed because this isn't good

I know Im not really a creator in the rw fandom anymore (mostly due to stuff like this tbh) but if just one person sees this and feels safer and seen then i'll be happy
