Taking its title from the lyrics of John Lennon’s iconic song #Imagine, “Imagine all the people” is a project by Turin-based artist and illustrator Pierpaolo Rovero’s @pierpaolorovero that fantasizes about the way people around the word spend their time in quarantine. Depicting a diverse range of metropolitan panoramas, from New York and Paris, to Jerusalem, to Tokyo, Rovero imagines the citizens of each city indulging in the same activity while stuck at home, allowing viewers to catch glimpses through windows, balconies and skylights. Athens plays sports, Amsterdam paints, Hong Kong works, New York reads, Florence cooks, Madrid makes love… the list goes on. By inviting us to travel the world through his imagination, Rovero’s kaleidoscopic series whimsically illustrate that in times like these, no matter how far apart we live or how different our lives are, we all turn to the same basic things to find comfort, joy and hope. #egl #lolitafashion #gothiclolita #worldgothday #diamundialdelgotico #istayhome #yomequedoencasa🏠 https://www.instagram.com/p/CAmTf9gJO51/?igshid=4xmtez81q62x
I have a lot of time on my hands now that we are in quarantine and self distancing, so I might as well work on my bujo since usually I always complain I don’t have enough time to dedicate to my bujo due to all the “normal” obligations we fill our lives with...
So April’s weekly spreads and some lettering for a quote I find appropriate for the quarantine...
Please stay home if you can, stay safe, be carful and be kind to yourselves!
"Am I in the picture? Am I getting in or out of it? I could be a ghost, an animal or a dead body, not just this girl standing on the corner...?"
