as someone who has spent years studying WW2 & the holocaust, america needs to wake the fuck up.

"it's a roman salute" ?????? you're a fucking idiot and that ideology is the reason this country is falling apart from the inside out. if you're defending him in any way whatsoever, you're the issue. nothing about what he did is justifiable, regardless of how many random ass excuses you give him.

elon musk is deemed to be the smartest man in the united states and you have the nerve to think this was an accident? to think he wasn't 100% aware of his actions & the consequences that were sure to follow? he's famous enough to have had media training enough to have been told repeatedly not to make hand gestures that could resemble that in any way.

hitler rose to power gradually. everyone believes he stormed into office, everyone cheered, and he began committing genocide. this happens via piecemeal development, not immediate change. or, as quoted from the handmaid's tale, "nothing changes instantaneously. in a gradually heating bathtub, you'd be boiled to death before you knew it."

anybody in a position of power is aware of this. it's about time some of you accept it as well.

the nazi party was initially shunned by the german population. they were extremists, nobody wanted them to run the government in a million fucking years. but things happen. in this case, the treaty of versailles was put in order & they thereby had no choice but to turn to the man who was claiming that he'd "make germany great again". sound familiar? yeah.

he was a wonderful politician at first. he fixed the economy, gained respect from neighboring nations, and took over lots of lost land from WW1. but, as time went on, he just kept going. no other country dared to say shit to him for fear of starting another war. so they left him to continue stealing more and more land, to rise higher and higher in power, to kill more and more of his own citizens.

by the time people realized he was a dictator, it was too late. jewish people were being gassed, land was being stolen, and wars were being declared.

america, we have a huge sign flashing in our fucking faces.

to ignore something that goddamn inexcusable would be nothing short of foolish. if nothing is done by this, we're signing our own death warrants.

Stop using Adobe's programs

So far @adobe has been proving that they don't care about artist or creatives. Especially since they have started to use AI generators in not just their programs but marketing too.

Also their so called opt out option for their AI generator, hasn't been working. Artist have been coming out with proof that their work was still being used. Even though they opt out and on top of that all Adobe did to fix this was pay the artist. One artist was only paid around 300$, for their entire portfolio and remember this work will be re used as long as this program is still going. So to me that's a pretty unfair payment, especially since they opt out.

As far as I know of only one artist who had this issue got their work "supposably" removed from their AI generator. On top of that it was a popular artist (Loish). So it seems if they did do this. It was because the artist had a big following.

For those who do want to leave adobe here is a list of options. All programs that can replace any of Adobes.

I realized that asking myself why am I doing something often makes me see and understand my possible triggers and issues. Whether is eg. commenting on something in a certain way or behaving in another, especially to please/follow others (without realizing, we do search for confirmations/validations, acceptance, salvation and love more often than we realize and in the smallest things; it's not bad per se at all, it's human need, but we have to be aware of it all and accept it, so to search for it in the right places while not neglecting too much our own beliefs and values or at least, we need to know that we're just momentarily saving ourselves by acting that way on our triggers/fears and not entirely renouncing to who we are and forgive ourselves). And this is helping me change my perspective on myself too, on how I can help myself more in particular. I'm not doing this to criticize myself more, at all: that cannot be the point. I'm trying to be kinder with my younger self as they only wanted to feel safe and loved as much as I do now. I only want to accept myself more, even the so called "bad" sides (they're just hurt sides, and they cannot feel better if I keep pushing them away).

Ofc done too often and too much only leads to stress and hyper vigilance which is not good, therefore I ask myself this question when I find out I act on autopilot, when I get stressed out, when I have a sudden *emotion-based* reaction that soon after I don't agree with or leaves me confused cause yes, triggers yk... And it often works looking at others too, seeing their triggers and reactions. And removing from those any possible meaning about me, just in case. Anyway, this way I am learning more about *my* emotions too and how I can accept them and feel them, allowing them some space to just be without judging them (and myself) too harshly. There's no perfection, no perfect way to act or be, and no way we can close off our emotions (and all the triggers) from our life... so we may just live, try to not worry too much and hug ourselves often and well. We're doing our best, and that's enough. The world is already harsh, let's be a bit more forgiving... with ourselves at least.
