So there’s this one rlly good fanfic (Cross over of Balck butler x Twisted wonderland). And I think it’s great with writing characters, ciels relationships with some of the other students, with Sebastian, ect. Good with handling ciels reactions to things (the tweels, overbolts, ect.)

Author is ‘Darkspellmaster’ on ao3 btw !!! Telling you this before I rant abt what I don’t rlly enjoy abt the fic. It’s still good overall tho!! (And they’re on here as well!!)

Okay so on to my own opinions!!

The only things I don’t like is how it sometimes explained Elisabeth’s appearance. She’s fifteen in this i think ? Ciels fourteen. But I digress- I don’t like how it mentions her ‘womanly’ body, ect. Feels awkward to me. And the shipping with Ciel and Eli, while like - I don’t mind if someone ships them ig? Still feels a little odd bc they’re cousins. I am aware that it’s normalized in their time but again- it’s icky to me so I stray away from that. But if you like it then shouldn’t be a problem for you!! This is her work so yeah!! This is just me ranting !! Same thing goes for the spoilers!!

So there’s this minor thing where cater has a crush on ciel. And at one point Sebastian is going through journals during the party arc (where the Halloween thing takes place), and in caters it mentions having dreams abt going on dates. And mentions how it would feel to kiss ciel. Which again I find kinda odd ? Cus cater is eighteen, and he acknowledges it.

It also includes that undertaker is ciels grandfather theory. Which imo is not the bestest of theories out there. Ofc if you enjoy it then that’s you!! But I personally don’t believe in it. Due to timelines not matching up, along with the fact it kinda reduces undertakers character imo. Plus we don’t know if reapers can even reproduce (which I doubt since they embody DEATH!!). But that’s all my opinions with the fic.

The fic is still pretty good, plus it’s on going. I still def recommend, if you don’t care or mind any of my own opinions with the fic. It’s good overall and I like it! So yeah! Again this is all my opinions. And even if I don’t agree with All the Authors opinions on black butler then that’s me. If you do (or if author sees this, which I highly doubt-) that’s you. Idc, some theories ick me. But again, that’s me. I again say that the fic is amazing!! Are there some things that I disagree with regarding theories in the fic? Yea. But will I just bash or over hate? No. The only reason for this post was bc I just needed to rant and I ion got any friends to rant to- but I digress. The author is the one who works hard, who writes it all. I cannot change that, nor do I intend to bc that’s the AUTHORS opinion. Not my own. He’s a menace to say the least. Not in a quirky but in a way where he’s actually a national problem.

He likes Fairy and Ghost types. He feels like people aim for physical and elementally strong Pokémon because they’re known to be efficient; but who said that he couldn’t beat them? Snap out of it!

He found Mimikyu one day behind a brush in the woods

He doesn’t use Pokéballs unless Mimikyu is seriously injured and there’s no where to rest at the moment

“It’s just controllin to keep em in there.”

No doubt about it he’s one of the greatest trainers you’ve ever seen

“A-and he just stole from my mansion—!” The exasperated man shouted at you. “Aren’t you trainers worth any good? Use your Pokémon to stop him!”

“Yeah yeah old man, I got you!” You lazily scanned the area and went around the back of the mansion.

Everything’s normal so far until you see a large picture on the porcelain white walls of the mansion.

There was a large “mural” in black, dark blue, and red. In huge letters it wrote: PUNK-MON WINS! Noticing that the thief was still finishing the painting you turned the corner and walked towards him. He had a mask on and held a spray can in his hand.

“Yo—!”

“Ki-ki-ki-kyu!!!” You felt something slash at your leg, causing you to crash to the ground.

“What on earth is that?! Your scary Pokémon just bit me or something!”

The tall boy picked it up. Speaking of which, what was that thing? It looked like a wannabe Pikachu with spikes attached on it’s head. “Good little Mimikyu, beatin’ up stalkers whereva you see ‘em.”

“Stalkers? Huh—hey you mean me! I’m not a stalker!”

He helped you up. “You betta not be a copper.”

You glared at him. How are you gonna trip someone and then accuse them of trying to arrest you? Who is this loser?

He removed his mask.

Suddenly you’re not mad anymore.

“Aha, um… I see we got off on the wrong foot.” You batted your eyes. “Emphasis on foot… what is that thing?”

“This TING!!! Is my baby. My punk bunny. Mimikyu say hi!” The little creature garbled and babbled away.

“Was that ‘hi’ or possessed screeches?”

“Ion even know m’self to be honest.” He looked a little disturbed by Mimikyu, but then smiled. “My name’s Obie Brown, and I’m the number one criminal of rich-heads like this around town.”

“Very cool Hobie Brown. Only problem is that rich-head thinks Pokémon are the cause of all this vandalism and he’s trying to take down all the gyms in this area.”

“Oh!”

“Oh.”

“Right then. WE’RE GOIN TA KILL A RICH GUY!”

“Ki-kyu-ki-ki-ki-kyu!” Mimikyu excitedly garbled.

“WE’RE GOING TO WHAT?! HEY WAIT I WANNA JOIN IN!”

You couldn’t believe you were robbing the house of guy you promised to help. At least it’s not like he needs said money anyway—he has a whole nother vault on a separate island. The goal was to strip the old man of everything he owned in this mansion.

You wedged the metal bar Hobie had lended you inti the crack of the safe’s opening. “Darn. [Poke!Name], a little help here?”

Your Pokémon croaked a little noise and threw an attack at the metal door, which surprisingly made a big enough dent to pull at.

The doors hinges dropped and inside revealed a tomb of gold and stacks of money. Including golden Pokéballs.

“Woah…”

Alright! No more marveling. Here was the hard part of the mission—getting all of the things into the cheap school bags you had stolen bought and throwing them out the window.

Needless to say, it was a rather taxing job. You were constantly on your toes watching out for a stray maid or butler to come in.

“Okay! [Poke!Name], we’re finished. And no thanks to you… You’re lucky I love you.” The moment you slightly pushed the vault door open an alarm blasted. You winced as the painful ringing echoed in your ears. “It must’ve not been triggered when we blasted through it, but opening it does.”

You managed to hurl some bags at the window. But your own escape was more difficult—and you could heart the rapid footsteps coming down the hall.

“Darn—!”

“DOWN HEYAH!”

That familiar British voice! You stuck your head at the window and saw Hobie with outstretched arms.

“JUMP DOWN! I’LL CATCH YA!”

“ARE YOU COOCOO FOR COCOPUFFS?”

“TRUST!”

You anxiously rubbed your arms as you heard the servants working on the entrance door. Who would win: your fear of heights or your fear of jail?

“Open up!”

Darn, darn, darn, darn—

Your Pokémon pushed you out the window. WHAT?

You were falling—you were falling—you were going to meet your death—

“Ya not fallin anymore you damsel in distress.”

You blushed out of embarrassment and got out of Hobie’s arms. “Ahem, thank you.”

He suddenly grabbed your hand tightly and started running away from the mansion. “So, what’s the name? I never caught it!”

You sighed. You really got yourself into some sort of mess. “[Name]. Your new partner in crime.”

“That’s the spirit!”

“I WAS BEING SARCASTIC.”

So in the second round winner is Isaak! Nobody can resist the long haired butler! Suleyman got the silver medal and because of the same amount of vote, there will be a quick round for the 3th place between Ion and Cain!

When The Night Comes is a queer, narrative-driven, supernatural visual novel originally released for free over a year from October 2018 - November 2019. When The Night Comes: The ReVamp is set to release in late Spring 2021 and will be a definitive version of the original game with a number of improvements, including voice acting and updated UI and artwork. 

Play as a renowned Hunter; a creature slayer who has been called to the quiet, strange little town of Lunaris to assist the local Enforcers with an investigation into a series of unsettling and unexplained supernatural murders. Immerse yourself in the world of witches, vampires, demons and lycans as you slowly unravel the dark mystery that lies deep within the roots of the town.

The question is, are the creatures of the night the ones you should really be afraid of? 

A story of finding a home and a family in the most unlikely of places, and a lesson in learning to bare your teeth at your maker.

Reaper Review

When the Night Comes was a game that I had no intention on loving. I was dipping my toes into playing dating sims/otomes on stream and I really liked the art style so I decided to play it and it was the best decision of my life.

The city of Lunaris is cursed by an unknown creature, leaving its citizens living in fear whenever night falls, especially every few days when the beast habitually hunts. 

You play as a Hunter (fitting huh?), called in by the Lunaris Hunter team to help them put an end to the attacks. With customizable name and pronoun options, you’re slowly introduced to the main cast who are primarily all your romance options. 

CAST (in order of appearance):

Ezra (VA - Adam Faison) He/Him : The local witch with kind eyes and a heart to match.

Finn (VA - Gideon Emery) He/Him : Vampire clan leader whose comments made me blush on more than one occasion.

Augustus (VA - Jonah Scott) They/Them : Major General of the Hunters and one of my all time favorite romances.

Piper (VA - Ione Butler) She/Her : Fellow Hunter with the cutest laugh and loyal to her comrades to a fault.

Alkar (VA - Jalen K. Cassell) He/Him : Resident mischievous Lycan who honestly shouldn’t have as bad of a reputation as he does.

Omen (VA - Chris Patton) He/Him : Cinnamon Bun of a demon who is too good for this world.

Throughout the game you meet side characters, work with the main cast, and investigate as much as you can about the creature that stalks the town. While it is an otome, the level of mystery in the game about the investigation and deaths is quite high and I found myself falling deeper into the story that when the big reveal came I was overcome with emotion. You find out just as much about the MC as you do about your companions and the mystery of the town.

One thing I appreciated was that there is no split between romance and story either, but rather the romances add to it, showing in their own ways how they grow to care about you and your wellbeing as the MC. The characters also have moments with each other, not just in the polyamory routes but in friendships and when you learn about their intricate backstories with one another. The banter between them all is on another level and I’m especially fond of the end of the game when all of the main cast come together in one big plan to find the beast and destroy it for good. Nothing annoys me more than being engrossed in a story only to be then thrown into lovey-dovey mode (and don’t get me wrong I love lovey-dovey mode). 

Other things to note:

There is a festival scene which you can explore and spend time with your LI with a beautiful CG (a special full-screen static image) at the end of the moment that I just wanted to stay in forever.

Clear heart icon for dialogue options that are explicitly for romancing a character. So if you don’t want to romance anyone you can easily do it or on the other hand if you want to lock in a romance you don’t have to stress about what to say.

All of the best lines have voice acting however I’d say only about 75-80% of the game has voice acting. It’s a little annoying but only because I love the cast so much.

There are over 60 CGs and post-game mini stories (which I actually didn’t learn about the post-game stories until I was writing this…time to go play again!). 

Of course bad endings are possible…but to be totally honest I’m too scared to play that route!

Lastly, my favorite part of the game would have to be the spicy scenes with your LI, if you so choose to pursue them. Without being visually explicit, you get to enjoy some sweet sweet spicy time with your favorite characters and this is where the voice acting is present a majority of the time if not completely. Now I love me some spice, but sometimes CGs can put me off from it. I prefer to imagine what’s going on rather than be shown AND if you’re trying to play sneakily, CGs are just a huge announcement to what you’re doing. The script is so well done that in my opinion CGs aren’t necessary.

This game has all of my love and I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone, so if you’re looking for a story with mystery and well developed characters I would say you’ve found it.

bridget & henry parr's father, the marquess of northampton would surely be loved by our their writers! (damien lewis, nikolaj coster-waldau, viggo mortensen)

jane & richard boleyn's patriach & rest of the family! they are, without a doubt, the most powerful family beside the crown and can really be the most influential if you play your cards right! george boleyn (james frain, linus roache, toby stephens) to rival the influence of the percys, alongside the countess of essex & her husband (kylie bunbury, antonia thomas, ruby barker, aaron cobham, bay gbadamosi, corey mlychreest). mary carey (essie davis, claire forlani, alexandra moen) the sister to anne boleyn herself!

charles butler (the earl of ormind & our current lord of misrule)'s family would be a wonderful way to begin to flesh out a previously untouched family. his wife (claire foy, annabel scholey, jodie turner-smith) and the rest of his brothers & sisters (though bare in mind that the countess of ossory is from the howard family, and so would be a white fc) (habiba ummi mohammed, lashana lynch, ebonee noel, ali nuhu, gendry white, paapa essiedu, stephanie levi-john)

the dudleys (both of leicester & warwick) have close ties with the royal court as of december 1559, though we have a few we would love to see more to take advantage of the prestige that comes with the earl's close council with the princess elizabeth (hulya avsar, beren saat, berk cankat, burak ozvicit, tolga saritas)

and finally the percy dukes & duchesses of the family! we have been blessed to have the three percy siblings who have created their own fair share of drama. clearly, they are on track to stir the most ambition not seen since the ascension of the boleyn family! Stolas felt giddy as he looked over the gift box he had perfectly wrapped not a single scarp of paper stuck out all the edges were crisp. A silk like ribbon tied around the sides. A deep pink warping paper with a purple ribbon, was he trying to be subtle on his color choices here? Absolutely not and why should he? He was free to go all out to dot and express how he feels for his boyfriend Shane. In truth it was such a freeing aspect to their relationship with Shane. Stolas was able to just openly love Shane in the way Stolas wanted to express that love. Not feeling like the effort was going to waste or unwanted even. Shane seemed to more enjoy how over the top Stolas could be instead. Or, at least accepted it as just part of who he was. Stolas thought to himself as he twisted the end of the rib ion around his talon. Holding up his face in one hand happily chucking to himself.

It just felt good. Good to feel this way good to be truly in love and able to express his love freely. No worries about his arranged marriage with his divorce handled long before he and Shane became official. No worries of pushing Shane snap or react not quite in the manner Stolas would expect? Sure Shane wasn’t word for word following along with the male leads of his romance books or soap or romcoms even. But, Shane at least reciprocated Stolas’ efforts here. they were on the same page, and that alone? Was enough to put the owl prince into his current moods. Lost in thought of soft white locks, and cute little heart markings. Hoping Shane would like his gift and part of him feeling Shane would likely be happy with anything Stolas gifted to them.

Shane was just that kind of demon. That cute little unsure smile and their habit of averting their gaze as they rubbed at their neck. Despite his demon species Shane was more on the shyer side when it came to personality. One would be likely to assume a demon of the succbuss/incubus kind would be far more well promiscuous for one and outgoing as well. Likely more perverse even?

And well could one truly be blamed for having those stereotypes in mind when it came to demons that came from he lust ring for one, home and ruled over by Assmodeous himself? The same demon prince who flaunts his brand as ‘lust’

But that wasn’t Shane’s way. Which to Stolas had him feel it was more proof that they were genuine.

When Stolas' butler came to tell him his 'guest' was here, Stolas stood up right away clutching at the gift box carful not to let any of the paper to forum a winkle. Slightly biting on his bottom bill he could tell from the aide glance given by the butler who has severed by him for so long was thinking. But stolas didn't care to 'correct' his actions as the door was opened and entered Shane. That permanently sleepy gaze that Shane wore was enough to get the princes heart to flutter. Clearing his thoart a moment.

"Darling, I'm so glad you could come by." Still holding the gift between his talons. Hoping it be as good as Shane's was. No, he needed to remain in his confidence. Side stepping so they could come in as they walked together his butler making mention of having tea ready for Stolas and his 'guest'. That did get the princes smile to fade a moment. Unsure why they kept insisting on referring to Shane in that way. They were more then a ‘guest’ after all. Stolas decided to ignore it, if Shane wasn’t bothered than perhaps he didn’t need to worry over it himself, smiling as he held out a hand to Shane. “Shall we?”

Of course, Shane had seen the gift box and was bound to be curious, some how Stolas forgot about it when he got up to greet them offering just a faint smil as he went ahead and hand the box on over towards the incubus. “A gift for you, You brought me those wonderful roses, that are doing rather well in my garden by the way.” Stolas made known as he detoured in his speech, soon gesturing down at the gift box. “So, I wished to repay the gesture it’s rather small, I didn’t want to go over board.” Least no yet it was bound to happen but Stolas was still trying to learn from past mistakes, “well?” He asks slightly bend down to get more on their level as he slightly tugged on to the end of the ribbon so to give them the permission they might be seeking before ripping in to the paper.

Stolas stood up straight once again and watched as the wrapping was peeled away and ribbon untied to unveil the leather bond sketch book, Shane's name was imprinted into the dark pink leather cover. Along with some detail cravings of swirls and hearts to match up the usual style of lust. Along with a small metal tin box of a set of pencils to go with. "Sorry I can't help it anymore, I saw your other one and thought a new on might be needed. I asked your sister about the pencils so I hope those will be to your liking." Stolas stated, "But when you told me you like to draw I couldn't help getting in touch with a book binder I know of. They have worked to handle all the books used in Goita matters" he states with a wave of his hand "But it was nothing to get them to make time for this after all. And this way you have very high quality paper." Sometimes being a royal demon had many perks, that often went over the prince's own head on how that may come off. "I even had them engrave your heart tattoo on the spine there."

"I can't believe you did all of this for me."

"hmm and why do you say that? after all you gifted me my prize rose bush. And I have to admit the chance to spoil you makes me twice as happy as getting those roses from you." because he never was allowed to before, such a small act meant more than all his power did. "So do you like it?"

The Comet Story

It was the night and her room looked bleak. Rather than a bitter feeling like the analogue of her life ever since she decided to recluse, for Delilah, tonight gifted something different: maybe like the phrase she always favored, ‘to find the silver lining in anything’ or maybe the answer of reality, it was the comet’s gleam amidst her room rendering everything in shades of black and grey (funnily, the said comet was a color of grey).

‘Hale-Bopp’ and she chuckled over her own sense.

Astronomy had always been Delilah’s entertainment, something she loved after her unfinished fault scrap report from the last expedition (the latter is a verbal irony), like the meteor shower, extragalactic, or even the directions on how to read Hertzprung–Russel Diagram. The brightest comet ever passed the Earth, Hale-Bopp, however was the Astronomy she never thought she would indulge into of its very existence. Grey, 6 years old, quick to adapt, and started to show an attention over what Delilah did: Hale-Bopp was the brightest comet himself.

Then, the living room was lighted up.

Delilah started with the scissor and her eyes narrowed, as it was needed a full concentration to cut the leather symmetrical. In fact, it was needed a full concentration. She had always been a complete cosmic puppet to grasp the concept of love; baking her mom snickerdoodle, writing her team a letter once in four months, volunteering at Camp Bow Bow or that mini house full of cats in Old East, and all, except to show how she loved for she was unable to.

Yet she had met various forms of love, and the tabby cat owned by Mrs. Ross was her biggest spur of happiness, care, and the scratches (she got 3 on her left thigh and mom said it would take another month for the marks to heal). Actually, she didn’t care of the marks.

The tag collar was stitched hastily, shown it was done by an amateur. Delilah would never call herself a creative individual yet she unequivocally valued it for a reason. It was Bisa Butler Art Exhibition in New York five months ago that caused her to buy the crochet hooks, tapestry needle, yarn, and some boxes of beads with a roll of string. To her understanding, the beaded bracelets she sent to her friends and the crochet coasters at her kitchen were pretty enough. It showed how she cared, to the new change, or maybe to the new trend, expect how to show she loved for she was unable to.

“Oh, you wake up?”

Delilah rose up, all too aware that she sounded bright when the comet with one tail, Hale-Bopp, stretched his grey body and walking to her feet.

Hale-Bopp, not the cat, had two tails, the bright dust and the ion, with a body known as the coma composed of ice, interstellar gas, and the carbon-bearing species. Meanwhile, Hale-Bopp the Cat had one long tail and the body known as a form of comfort, composed of love, his favorite salmon, and the warmth enveloping him.

The evening Delilah picked Hale-Bopp up from the Cat King, he was a little shy ball, scared of a touch, trying to hide—which was confusing and funny—inside Delilah’s totebag. Maybe, yes maybe, it was one of the reasons as why Hale-Bopp adapted quickly with her personal ambient; the scent left in the bag, between her floral perfume and the coffee bubblegums, to her pen with ink smelled like raspberry.

“Come here, Hale-Bopp. It’s warm.”

Dogs had always been smarter than cats, like on the game, animations, or comics. However, cats were the personality paradox, and a laughter slipped out of Delilah. She left a boop on Hale-Bopp’s nose after spotting the feline’s fixation on her hand putting the stickers on the leather. The canine-human relationship was one of the realest of living cosmos, Delilah found this absurdity of existence interesting.

Essentially, Hale-Bopp would always take up on the new things. To live, to play, to express his desire (through his meow, head strokes, or tail sways, Hale-Bopp knew it for sure), and to be conscious of his life.

Delilah brought the cat into her arms, giving him a snuggle and head rubs. The tag was done, adorable with the star-shaped pendant, the leather from her old bag, and the stickers of her phone.

For every moment that flew away means their distance got shorter to eventually fade.

Delilah was unable to show how she loved, but this was the time where she was looking at the Earth chasm and overwhelmed by the sheer need to jump and free-fall into loving better.
