The Holy Trinity of the Caribbean.
Pirates Au.
On that cold night, there were screams, fire everywhere, people died in the asylum fire, and everything fell apart when they saw the body of the Fire Nation princess in ashes.
And no one noticed the tunnel under his bed and that the body wasn't really his, but who will tell? Who would tell the truth? nobody, because the dead don't tell stories.
years later.
The Fire Nation ships were disappearing, it was rumored that they were pirates and others said that it was a ghost ship that made the ships fall to the bottom of the sea.
The Fire Lord, threatened by his citizens, sent his fiancée and his most loyal agent in search of the culprit.
and that was where the whole story began, between a pirate princess and two noble girls.

Low-key tempted to write a fanfic one day where the Lords of fortune actually HAS a pirate ship that they travel on, and Taash takes Rook on a journey on the ship where they explore ruins, islands and new lands for a few months. To go full on pirate!
Of course, this is after the events of Veilguard, because Rook deserves it

I would do ANYTHING to see Din and Bo getting married in Pirates of the Caribbean style.
Imagine:
*Mandalorians vs Gideon’s troopers*
Din: Bo, will you marry me?
Bo-Katan: I don’t think now is the best time!
Din: Now may be the only time! *grabs her arm and looks in her eyes*
Din: I love you. I’ve made my choice. What’s yours?
Bo-Katan: *turns away from him* Armorer! Marry us!
The armorer, smashing the Imps with her hammer: I’M A LITTLE BUSY AT THE MOMENT!

me, tapping the mic on a stage: ''elizabeth swann not only was and is the confirmed primary protagonist of the pirates of the caribbean trilogy, but also is an incredible example for female characters to be flawed with complex inner conflicts while still having clear desires and goals; she's morally ambiguous yet simultaneously is a beacon of bravery and hope; in subtext representing an audience of admirers of piracy but also standing out as a believable, organic character with her own evolving relationship to what being a pirate means. She got and still gets unfairly bashed for doing nearly the same things the rest of the male cast does and is constantly demeaned and insulted in the most misogynistic and myopic, bad faith lenses. You may not like her personally, but it's important to consider that her role is factually very important and meaningful to the franchise and to many many fans who felt inspired by her, the truest of pirate kings.''
people start booing me off the stage, I start to step down. Three voices stand out in the crowd while clapping instead, silencing the ruckus made by wide-eyed self-proclaimed 'mega-fans' of the franchise.
everyone turns to see to whom the voices belong to...
gore verbinski, the director, terry rossio and ted elliot, the scriptwriters of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy say: ''they're right, you know.''
