DESCRIPTION:

Marcellus Williams is scheduled to be executed on Sept. 24 for a crime he did not commit. The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell conceded that the prior administration committed constitutional errors contributing to Marcellus’ unreliable murder conviction and death sentence. Despite this, St. Louis County Circuit Court Judge Bruce Hilton denied the motion to vacate his conviction, and his execution will go forward unless Gov. Parson or the courts intervene.

Executions in Iran. A brief look on this violent punishment.

"Iran ranks second after China in execution tolls." It's severe guys. Innocent people are on the death row. Make some noise with us. Push your government to cut ties with human rights violators. Side note: I've seen regime supporters spreading rumors like Mohsen Shekari had killed a policeman. First of all policeman stands for enemy and ISIS in Iran so even if he did, we're at war with the enemy. We're not exchanging kisses with them. He didn't though. In his official conviction there's no charge on murder only "attacking and injuring a Basij officer". I'm gonna guess you mean descended from Holocaust survivors & victims. In which case it's really sad that you think this way firstly? POC and non Jewish people did in fact die during the holocaust and many were targeted for not fitting the Nazis' idea of the "superior Aryan race".

Also contrary to what some believe, and this may sound farfetched and I hope you're sitting down but bear with me- some people are actually more than one race. Some people are POC and white. We call this being biracial. Or in grade school, being an "Oreo". A mutt if they really want to dehumanize you

But while my relatives weren't targeted for their skin color as they were white, many people were. Black Germans and other POC did exist, were murdered and traumatized, and have passed down that generational trauma. Just as other persecuted populations even if it was much less it was no less a part of the genocide and ethnic cleansing.

The fact that Israeli soldiers are raiding the homes of Palestinians families who've just had their children released from the prisons at long last and confiscating any signs of celebration + dispersing family gatherings should be a clue to anyone with a soul that these fascists view any form of Palestinians joy as a threat to their glorious racist state. But of course zionists are going to stick their heads in the sand and pretend like this is just another issue that'll be solved through Hamas being destroyed. Never mind that Hamas is the only reason those Palestinian hostages got released. You can rightfully condemn them for the murder of innocents but the fact remains that those children have finally been freed due to their actions. It doesn't excuse anything, but it does add more condemnation towards the Israeli state. October 7th should never have happened and the fact that capturing Israeli hostages was the only thing that could force Israel to release the women and children it kidnapped is proof that the fascist state must be destroyed in order for actual peace to be found. The Israeli state has made it clear that it will never stop brutalising and tormenting Palestinians unless it is forced to. You can stand against genocide and oppression or you can hope the oppressors grow a conscience after they kill enough enemy children. And even if you do only care about Israeli citizens, you should know that there will be no true peace for them as long as their sense of security is reliant on Palestinian misery. Which it has been since the state's foundation.

Something I’ve been thinking about recently, mainly because of the people whining about ‘good’ reasons to join the military and how ‘not all military personnel are evil’ is having to stand in front of God and tell Him that I either signed up to kill people or help kill people and for what? Money? A college degree?
