People who are saying this episode was bad, or something to skip on the rewatch are so insane.

And you know their reasoning? Because it dared to focus on "a white man" or "that twink", because their "favorite lesbians" aren't the soul focus.

What I'm getting is these people are not capable of understanding this show. They see the world in so much black and white:

He's white and male = he's bad

News flash people: the world doesn't fucking work like that!

ALSO this show is all about the morally grey. What's bad in one persons eyes is what's good in another.

But that's not even what this is about! It's just these women being so god damn bitter, and dead set that Rio/Agatha are set up to have this great love story, and any second of screen time that isn'g them, like, having sex, is bad and wasted. And they can say cry that Billy has a story at all - how dare actual plot and storytelling distract from Agatha and Rio eye-fucking each other!

(Guess what guys, that relationship is in the grey too - it's not just a kinky thing they have legit reasons for hating each other and what to see the other dead.)

But Billy has been set up as a sort of co-protagonist to Agatha FROM THE BEGINNING. He has ALWAYS been a part of the plan for this show, Agatha and Teen/Billy's relationship is CENTRAL to the plot.

And here you are crying because a main character, surrounded by mystery, a constant through line in the show being "who is teen?", and you're so upset.

The fandom is so focused on the one mlm ship thats not even canon and im just,,, im so over it. Like I know so much else happened this season and I am harping on one admittedly minor aspect of it but I am just so grossed out by all of it. Until that point I actually was enjoying this season, at least on a surface level, but this completely tainted it. This was just such a slap in the face to anyone who has ever experienced harassment or assault or dubiously consensual situations. Every time I think this show can’t possibly sink lower it manages to find a way. But whatever I guess. It’s on me for expecting any different.
