Raymond Moriyama died last year and this year they're closing down one of the most important buildings he designed, the Ontario Science Centre, because my provincial conservative government is wasting money on bullshit. They could fix the roof but they have other priorities that are more performative. It's such a fucking pointed metaphor for everything going on that people would accuse it of being too on the nose if you'd written it. But that's what Ontario has been going through for the past few years, a destruction of progress and culture and of science and the arts. Ray Moriyama's buildings were functional and communal and pieces of art. And the Ford government desecrates that memory only a year after his death. To just let it fall into ruin speaks so much about what this government is about. Things that matter continue to exist because people that care put in the work to help it exist. To bar that effort. To encourage disrepair and degradation. That's what my government is about. What pernicious evil.

in honor of kakashis birthday i thought i might as well finally release my half finished mini concept of "inverse lost tower where baby kakashi comes to hang out with shippuden era team 7. Badly" because obviously baby kakashi seeing his older self have relationships and happiness that baby kks doesnt think he can or deserves to have pisses him off on such a fundamental level hes so filled with rage he barely knows what to do with himself. not to mention that adult kakashis general outward lackadaisical demeanor also makes him angry because how can they have gone through all the same things and yet he still doesnt take anything seriously etc etc u already know all this. regardless the issue more than anything else was that im not much of a writer so i could never get the words to feel right so it'll probably stay unfinished forever, but take these anyways

TBH with the pwhl season coming up im half tempted to pick up a team to root for/get unwell about as opposed to just letting games jumpscare me ... unfortunately for the superstitious, every game i watched in the last season HAS ended in shootout (with the exception of the walter cup final LOL) so. maybe i should only take suggestions for teams yall hate
