8. Favorite makeup design?

See if you put like a character with it this would be easier- but like ever?? uhm I purposely looked at a small amount of characters for this. I have like atleast three favorites per character so I just picked one out of the favs.

9. Favorite song

I already answered my favorite song here, so I’ll just do my second favorite which is Mr. Mistoffelees!! It’s always the number I get most excited for when I’m watching a boot, like it was the first cats song I ever listened to and the one that made me really fall in love with the show so it will always have that personal significance for me.

I still remember where I was the first time I heard Jacob Brent say “presto” and like aaa I got happy chills I love that song. I probably have Shiki recency bias but the stage magic there is some of the best I’ve seen it’s just so amazing aaa I love you mistoffelees <333

20. Have you seen Cats live? Where?

Unfortunately no, never. Cats has only ever come to my country once and it was almost a decade ago now. One of my school friends saw it while it was here- she didn’t like it but I just listened to her explain it cause that was the closest I could get to seeing it 😢

I try to be optimistic but realistically its not coming back here any time soon so I’m betting more on when I travel with my family it’ll be in a somewhere where a production is happening to take place.

It’s actually so bad- we had this stage show called “new meow” and my family told me I should see it cause it’s “the same thing” it wasn’t so I didn’t but yea that’s the closest I’ll probably ever get for now. At least I can watch Matilda for the 10 millionth time..

This is basically an issue with any historical time period before colored pictures. Greek and Roman clothing wasn't all white, those statues and reliefs were all painted.

Even 'cave men' wore brightly colored pigments on their bodies. In fact, part of how we can identify ceremonial burial developing is that colorful pigments were placed over the dead.

Humans love color. They love bright color. It's universal.

One of the things that's been annoying more and more is modern media depictions of vikings where they basically dress in bland colored furs and leather and they look and act like Klingons.

Wish more movies and TV shows would have the gumption to use accurate costumes.

Also throughout all periods of history people wore colors!!! Even the puritans wore colors and only wore black on Sunday.
