in the amelia pond au, amelia’s aunt does still send her to therapy between doctor adventures, but since amelia is now secure in the fact that he’s Definitely Real since both rory and mels have also met him and because she lost a tooth last week from tripping on the stairs of the tardis, she doesn’t bite any therapists this time around. and besides, her therapist is a very funny lady. she reminds amelia of her doctor, with how her voice will flip and jump in volume and accent and tone on a whim, with how she’ll talk to amelia like they’re conspiring together. she keeps the pictures amelia draws of the doctor and their adventures for her, even hangs one or two on the walls. she listens very intently to every detail, which no adults in amelia’s life do save the doctor himself and river song, whenever she’s around. and best of all, whenever she tells amelia’s aunt that amelia is doing just fine, don’t you worry, she’ll grow out of this, she winks at amelia so that amelia will know her therapist is only playing along to wave away her aunt’s suspicion.

it is a little odd, though, that she insists on only being called Missy. but amelia is quite used to odd by now.

misc paracosms // the ones who lived

The Ones Who Lived was the last paracosm I had before discovering MaDD. Heavily inspired by The Walking Dead Game by TellTale, it followed Echo, who was 6 when the zombie apocalypse started. There was no real "plot", just having Echo and co run around, trying to survive. Unfortunately, he died before a cure was made.

I daydreamed about this one a lot. Nearly everyone had a playlist, I drew the paras a lot, I even roleplayed them! But that ended up being my downfall, as I had to break off my friendship with my RP partner due to drama going on. It was a really bad time for me and I ended up forcing myself to scrap this paracosm in order to move on.

Every so often I think about this paracosm. About bringing it back in some way. I feel sad. They meant so much to me, and I thought that they'd forever be tainted by that experience. idk. The apocalypse does happen in Eternal Labyrinth so it's possible they're running around somewhere.

After years of wanting one, but not being able to justify the price tag, I finally treated myself to a PS5. It's been an incredibly rewarding weekend getting to play Spiderman 2 for hours upon hours and not have to worry about work for a while. It's been a stressful year, especially these last few weeks, and I still have a ton of stuff to get done before our winter break, so this was a much needed respite to relax and recharge for the next couple weeks.

YOU MARRIED HIS SON!!! AND NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THAT??!??!?!

At this point, I'm actually slightly relieved when there's no FE4 remake announced, just because the Switch is getting old and FE4 is a big goddamn game and so I've always been lowkey worried how they'd handle the map sizes. So it being the flagship new Fire Emblem game for a next generation Nintendo console honestly sounds like the best possible case scenario

A very insane character detail that haunts me is that when Rose first goes into the Tardis with Nine, the jump seat in the console room seats two...but after Ten dies, the Tardis interior burns, and Eleven goes into the new console room...there are still jump seats for multiple passengers, but each only seats one.
