it's like a mix of anger, feral, emotional breakdown, and complete sadness that just fucks me up soooo fucking bad.

it's like she's a pet who got abandoned by their owner but they see them again after years of sadness and depression of them being gone and leaving them like that and all that anger and sadness just manifest's into one bundle of emotion's towards them they cannot control.

I think we're gonna get at least one more chapter where we wrap back around to the Diasomnia boys (I have THEORIES!!!!), but I think 13 will probably be the last one! maybe also 14 as a short epilogue/setup for episode 8, depending on where they cut after we deal with Malleus. we are definitely approaching the endgame though! ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ the party is almost assembled...the light is at the end of the tunnel...it is almost time to go throw pies into Tsunotarou's silly face until he comes to his senses...

(disclaimer since I don't think they've actually officially confirmed that there's going to be an episode 8, that this is of course just me assuming that Grim's arc/whatever's going on with Crowley probably/various other wrapups are going to be a separate episode, and aren't gonna be folded into the absolute beast that has been episode 7. BUT it does make for a nice break point and makes sense thematically with Ramshackle being, like, the semi-official 8th dorm and all, so I think it's a pretty safe bet at this point!)

I think a lot of the meta about Orym forgets that Orym isn't just an adventurer, he is a former bodyguard. His self worth is tied up in how well he can protect people and especially his loved ones. Thats why he sold his future to a hag, because its all he had left to give in order to be able to help.

Thats also why he seems so angry after FCG's death.

Otohan has killed his husband and father. Then him. Then he is brought back and told she also killed Fearne and Laudna. She killed Eshteross. She almost kills Keyleth. Now FCG has to sacrifice himself to save them all and kill Otohan and Orym was knocked out for it.

His job is to protect people and even with the added power from Nana Morri, it's still not enough. 6 years later and his loved ones are still dying and he can do nothing but watch.

fucked up that dropping gillion off for his training was done as unceremoniously as it was btw. it wasn't some grand goodbye, they didn't do anything special that day for their little boy -- it was just gillion and his father. his sister, his mother, his grandfather, they weren't there. it was just gillion, his father, and a quiet, possibly several day long trip to the capital. it was just gillion and his father at the steps of the palace, just his father that saw the big smile on his face, heard the little boy's promises of telling them everything when he got home. no one had even bothered explaining what was going on to him. he had to figure it out on his own, when papa never came back.

i think dinostar is such an interesting ship right now even if i've kind of turned away from it after this season. the problem is that it's complicated, and fandoms historically don't like nuanced situations or takes. i don't think it's fair to say darius is putting brooklynn on a pedestal, since from his perspective, she hasn't done anything wrong, and kenji has been framed as this unfair partner to her. it does feel like his feelings are very immature and more of an infatuation right now ("if he loved you half as much.."/"unless?"), especially when you compare them to kenji's own feelings for brooklynn - his girlfriend who he's loved for 6 years - but that isn't a horrible thing, it's just different. i do completely understand if people dislike the ship right now, and even criticize darius' way of handling the accidental confession, but i just think people have been way too harsh on all three of them without being willing to see that all of their perspectives are different

skye, ten things : one, i just got done explaining the entire plot of tma to my best friend and her first reaction was “i want jon and elias to kiss”, and second thing, im drawing their final scene together FINALLY. any details u want me to include???

Make them kiss and make Jon look down at Elias with bitterness and sadness at the same time knowing if things were different he may have never killed him. If Elias were better or if he were worse, maybe things would be different. But as it is its unfinished and unsatisfying and all there is is the knowledge that Elias is a horrible man and so is he, and the people that they are right now could've never ended any other way. Elias made him into this, and the man he is now would've never chosen anything differently. He kills Elias. He wanted to, and he isn't sorry. There is no other way it was ever going to go.

But he's gone. And Jon is here. And for the first time, there is no knowledge Elias is right around the corner with all the answers if he could just pry them out of him. There is no lingering in his office hoping for guidance, for someone to fix all of it, for some sort of understanding. There is no way to cling to the naive idea that Elias could just fix everything, whether he liked him or not. There is no more respect left for him. There is no more thing that is almost something, that could be something, if one of them would dare to move from where they were for a second. There is nothing left. Jon killed Jonah Magnus. But Jonah changed him in more ways than he could count. He will never be rid of him. No matter how much he hates him, he can never undo what Jonah did to him.

He is not guilty over killing Jonah, or what he planned to do. He still thinks it would've been the right thing. Jonah is dead, and Jon thinks he's on his way to join him, some mornings.

All that's left is "what could've been, if something, ANYTHING, was different." And that's not an answer at all.
