— told her that her next few years would be the best ones of her life.

she remembered it, that moment, the same time as when the DOCTOR tucked her cecilia onto his breast pocket for safe keeping, then presenting her with a single key. dual-colored hues burned the sight of his bright smile illuminated by the SUN and the small hint of shadow from the anemo archon statue. the background blurred behind him, and the only thing that was clear was him. his smile, his gift, the key to his home, to his hearts.

it was like the time aligned itself, the past, the present, and the future. in this single moment, reality was blurring and all she saw was the man who held her very future in his grasp. she had little to nothing to hold dear with her past, and he had become both her present and future. him.

it echoed, softly, at the back of her mind, what she spoke to her BEST FRIEND about him. how she never felt like she had a home before, and how he made it so that living became easier. that was the effect he had on others he had met. she wasn't sure if he realized it, either. but he was a warm light, like the sun, and he was soothing like the wind of freedom.

even more than the city of freedom she had born in, HE was a home away from home.

the key was tucked dearly to her chest, in her grasp, and even the KNIGHT CAPTAIN didn't think she was the type to get emotional over something like this. but that was exactly what this meant, wasn't it ? the tears that tinged her gaze, and she looked up at him, burning the image of him into her mind. there was a small moment of hesitation — and the DISTANCE between them was gone.

it was a single step, before her arms slowly wrapped themselves around his neck. the movement was tender, natural, and her LIPS sealed his own in a soft, soft kiss. like a touch of butterfly's wings, like a secret, like vow. she could hear her own heart ringing in her mind, and it resonated with the TWO RHYTHMS of both his hearts that was pressed close to her chest.

that's the first time she really felt the rising warmth in her chest, a kind of feeling that sparked from deep within, before slowly spreading throughout her very frame. the feeling of genuine, unaltered happiness. even the thought or worry of someone witnessing them, bodies pressed close, and lips connected in front of the plaza and the anemo archon statue witnessing this, were wiped from her thoughts. it didn't matter — for all she could think of now was him.

her breathing were uneven when she leaned back, and she gazed at him through the curtain of tears tinging those dual-colored hues. there was silence between them, for a split second longer. her cheeks were tinted dark pink, while his was bright red. she had lost the ability to process the words, not knowing what to say when she kept remembering how soft his lips were, how his breath tickled her cheek, or how sweet the kiss itself was against her mouth.

the lawrence heir couldn't remember exactly what happened after that, probably something silly. he was stumbling over his words, and did something that earned a tender, quiet laugh from her. the sound of her HEART was still ringing in her ears, yet her line of vision burned the visage of him into her mind.

for she knew for sure, no matter how long or no matter what happened, she would always remember this moment. his smile, his laughter, his light, his warmth, HIM.

Missing Seb and Charles as teammates 🥺

Everything they did was iconic and created chaos. Every on track issue resulted in more iconic moments.

You had Arthur and Fabian taking and posting a selfie like their brothers haven't just nearly killed eachother. It was a "Kim would you stop taking pictures of yourself your sister's going to jail" moment.

You have Binotto saying he took them to a restaurant after a fight and they switched phones, went through eachothers pictures and ended up laughing at eachother and that's how they made up eventhough again they wanted eachother dead like an hour earlier.

You have Silvia and the rest of Ferrari's PR team fully prepared to have Seb and Charles kiss to kill off the rumours and articles of them hating eachother.

You have Britta and Mia (Their PR officers) becoming besties and dragging their flop drivers into rooms to have them fix their issues. Literally two parents forcing their kids to hug it out.

The constant "bullying" Seb did to Charles and Charles ate it up every single time. Seb literally kicked him in the ass mid interview and Charles just big dimple sparkling eye smiled at him.

The multiple occasions Charles got pissed off with Seb and was seen climbing onto the counter to sit and pout. Literally a cat.

Marcus Ericsson being asked what he thinks of his ex teammate Charles and Seb and if he thinks they'll be a good match and he proceeded to say the most insane sentence about Seb being able to be a good teacher for Charles and Charles being the perfect student. Okay king I see your "teacherxstudent Melanie Martinez Teachers Pet" vision. And he was right.

Hourglass Challenges my beloved. Every single one of those videos ate the c2 challenges up. The consistency of Seb absolutely destroying Charles and Charles giggling and smiling like his ass wasn't being beaten 13-1. Charles he's kicking your ass and you're blushing like he just complimented you.

Extra special mention to their "Guess Who" video and Seb asking Charles "Is he pretty" knowing Charles had to either insult a driver or call a rival pretty. Charles having his answer as Max genuinely malfunctioned so much that Seb tried to help him and he still lost. Bonus is Seb purposely getting Charles to rant about questions knowing he'd use his answer as an example and Seb would use Charles descriptions to guess the answer faster.

With my pregnancy and everything that had been going on in my life— taking care of Lori, pondering about movie roles I wouldn’t get because I was pregnant, Austin, Callum, my head was spinning. Literally. So much that I forgot my own birthday.

But one morning as I overslept, I hot woken up by Austin and Lori singing happy birthday to me, I started waking up. Rubbing my eyes before laughing.

“Happy birthday to you!~” They finished the song very off-key.

They brought the cake to me to blow the candles. It was VERY BAD decorated, sprinkles everywhere, blue icing all over the place, star candles.

“Make a wish.” Austin smiled as he held the cake, Lori on the other hand had crawled on the bed and wrapped her arms around me.

I didn’t even know what to wish for, so I only blew the candles and smiled. “Thank you so much. It’s a beautiful cake.”

“I did it, mommy!” Lori practically yelled at my ear.

“Oh, my cake boss.” I pulled her in for a more tight hug and kissed her head.

In gifts, well— that year Austin got me another locket. It was for three photos, to put, Lori, the upcoming baby and his photo. Lori on the other hand, brought me a ton of drawings she had done. This was a very different birthday, I guess, it was the pregnancy that made me emotional.

I received a hundred messages and calls from peers, family members, co-stars— whatever. It was weird. 24 was a weird age. I definitely still felt 22, I still wanted to look 18, but sometimes I suspected that I wanted to be ten all over again.

I remembered my birthday parties growing up. Being the center of attention for at least an afternoon. My parents never denied me of birthday parties. Since I was three until I was ten I had parties every year. My parents were Mexicans, they liked showing me off.

I often looked at my old pictures, I looked so happy. Old videos were my favorite though. I saw my father holding me as my mom stood by his side. I didn’t remember the last time I spent a birthday with them. I knew that once I married it would all be different but it didn’t mean that I didn’t want familiarity.

I went out that day, I went to do grocery shopping. I should’ve been at the club now that I think about it. But anyways, I did what I had to do. Went through every single aisle, got what I needed. It was my relaxation.

After that I drove to McDonalds, I thought that it would be another lonely birthday. Just by myself, writing the same ‘Thank you!’ message to all who congratulated me. I parked and ate alone, then at about 4:30 PM I drove myself back to our house, it was a really long drive. I arrived at about 5:30. Why the fuck did we buy a house so goddamn away from actual LA?

I got out the car, carrying the bag. I shouldn’t even be doing this while pregnant. I took the keys and opened the door. The lights were off. But then I almost had a heart attack.

“Happy birthday!”

Everyone I cared for and loved were there. I dropped the grocery bag immediately because I flinched. Everyone laughed. I laughed too.

“Oh my God! You guys scared the shit out of me!” I placed a hand on my heart, shaking my head as I laughed.

Austin walked up to me, looking tall, lean— perfect. He could be a son of a bitch but my god, was he good-looking.

“To my bestest girl.” He said, looking down on me. He hugged me. I started crying. “Why’re you crying?” He pouted a little, bringing me closer to him.

I felt a little embarrassed when I heard everyone going ‘awww’ but I smiled as I wiped my tears. Austin wasn’t one for big reunions, for big parties, for having a lot of people in the house. But the fact that he took the time to invite a ton of people, decorate, BE HERE. I know it could be considered the bare minimum since he was my husband but to me it meant a lot. That he actually loved me, even if he didn’t always show it how I wanted.

I saw my mom and dad, my sisters. I kissed each of their cheeks. I missed them a lot. Jackie and Pattie, my beautiful sisters. We grew together. We saw each other in our worst moments.

It was good, perfect I would say. Austin had convinced my own father of helping him in the grill. And my father never really accepted Austin. That was a step. Until Callum arrived. What the hell was he doing here? Not that I didn’t want him here but I kinda— felt between the wall and the sword.

“I heard there was a party.” He said with a charming smile. Handing me a box. “My mum makes this cookies for you. She told me to give them to you. She ain’t making them for me anymore, just so you know. She likes you.”

Of course his mom liked me. Of course she did. Did she also knew that I was screwing her son behind my husband’s back? I don’t think so. And if she knew, she wouldn’t have made me these amazing cookies.

It was a good party. I was in the kitchen preparing burgers. Callum barged in.

“We need to talk.” Callum said.

I wanted to run away like a chicken without its head. I nodded, looking at him.

“I know that you won’t leave Austin. I’ve come to terms with that, believe me. I ain’t takin’ you away from him. I understand that you two are a family— and that you probably actually love him.”

I wanted to deny it but it was true.

“I’m sorry.” I whispered to him. I felt bad, I’m not going to lie.

I was the same scum Austin was.

“Hey. No, dont apologize. I’m no saint either, we’re all shitty here. Austin, you, me. We all knew. And I knew you were married. What else did I expect?”

There was a long silence, I wanted to speak, but what was I supposed to say?

“You’re still my friend.”

What a stupid thing came out my mouth. Jesus Fucking Christ. I wished someone had sown my mouth as a child.

“You’re my friend too.” Callum said awkwardly.

Well that was definitely embarrassing. I knew, I knew that we would screw again someday. You don’t simply end an affair just like this. An affair has to end with one last passionate night of love-making. But we would have to wait. At least until my baby was born.

We were all gathered around the dining room, I was sitting on a chair. Austin brought a cake with the candles lit. As everyone sang happy birthday and I could see their faces, regret, shame, guilt, started filling my mind. I stared between Austin and Callum, Austin held Lori in his arms while Callum only held a cup.

I started to wonder about my wish. What should I wish for?

To be clean again?

To have never stepped out my wedding vows?

To have never been disrespected by my own husband?

To have a perfect family?

To have a chance at acting?

To finally get what I want?

To be a child again?

As I blew the candles I thought of my wish:

I wish to be able to start again.

But even then. I knew it was impossible. I’ve made my bed. Might as well be delusional and think all of this could change just because I was childish enough to believe that a dumb birthday wish could turn true.

AHHH OK I HAVE A LOT

1. Yes, felt a bit like a rushed finale, trying to tie up loose ends and whatnot. It is what it is, but in the 16-episode seasons the writers definitely were able to pace things insanely well, so you feel how clipped they are in this 10-episode season.

2. I was totally misled by fics and other posts that Harvey like pressured her into marrying him and that he had decided to move to Seattle without us getting to see them talk about it, but I was pleasantly surprised to not feel that way about how it went down!! When Donna brought up the concern that their families weren't there, he instantly said they'd do it again, and IDK something in Donna's vibe was just giving of crazy "yes I need to marry you right now" energy. The man she's been pining after for years is literally proposing to her with his grandmother's ring THAT HE WAS KEEPING IN HIS POCKET!!!! yeah i would fold and have an impulse wedding too. she got her bag!!

about Seattle, I made a post about this but lowkey it felt like an idea that Donna had, knowing that Harvey was leaving the firm and that with everything that's happened, they both needed a change of pace and a support system in Mike and Rachel. Huge bummer that we don't get to see how the decision was made, but her adamant behavior in telling Louis that they both want to leave and also her checking in with Harvey and asking HIM "are you sure you want to do this" felt very much like she was checking in because he had agreed to HER plan, not the other way around. She's very clearly comfortable and happy with the decision. We love to see it.

3. When Louis mentioned (before the Faye takedown) that him, Donna, and Harvey were all that was left of PEARSON HARDMAN, I fucking cried. I hadn't heard any of the characters call it PH in so long and it was a crazy realization that they really were the originals from before the series had even started.

4. Donna's dress was so beautiful at the wedding I kept looking at it like 🥹

5. Donna saying in her vows that 100 years would never be enough time with Harvey.... Yeah I felt that. They wasted so much time not being together that now, no amount of time is enough.

(theyve known each other for half a year i think. which is a short amount of time to be so attached LMAO.)

they also have a second betrayal which is honestly worse than this one, and reo's team loses to isagi/nagi's team and nagi tells him he's done with reo.

its a common theme of nagi never picking reo btw. reo was upset after the game because after you win a mtach you pick someone from the losing team to advance with and NAGI DIDNT ADVOCATE FOR REO HARD ENOUGH I GUESS AND ISAGI TOLD THEM ALL THAT THE BEST CHOICE WAS CHIGIRI. so they had another homoerotic fight that im never getting over. hope this meets ur criteria. they're in their exes era. its slightly better tho because nagi does feel bad/sorry for what he said.

The True Doer that you cannot outdo. The og who made this role what it is today. And since the og album was were I got my start and obsession with jcs, I have a huge fondness for him. There's just something so- so... about him. His vocals? Insane, fantastic, the golden standard. His Gethsemane is Everything. He raised the bar so high (literally lol) and made this role harder for everyone that came after him and I respect that. I also love his characterisation. He is a rockstar and he knows it. Adore this whiny ass messiah and his dramatics. 9/10

Ted Neeley - 1973 movie

Sad little mouse man. He's like some small rodent to me. His gethsemane is iconic, but beyond it I don't care to much about his Jesus. He's perfectly inoffensive, but I find him a bit boring. Poor guy also had the disadvantage of performing against Carl Anderson, who's too powerful and who commanded every scene he was in, outshining Jesus. Tedsus is not for me personally, but he's definitely not bad. 6/10

Camilo Sesto - Madrid 1975 album

I like him! He reminds me of Ian's Jesus but sadder (love to see it). Really good vocals. That 'POR QUE' ate. And his Gethsemane in general too. I don't have that much to say besides that, but Señor Sesto is really good in this role. 8/10

James Whitson - San Jose Civic Light Opera's 1990 production

Uhhhhhhh. Watched this in a discord watch party and for half of it we were thought this was Ted. It wasn't. Don't really know what to say, there wasn't anything really memorable or notable about him. Also has the disadvantage of being pared up with Carl Anderson, except it's even worse here. If Carl was anywhere near him, no chance I was paying attention to Jesus. Um... he chased Santa out of the Temple! That's something! 3/10

Steve Balsamo - 1996 London revival album

Steve Balsamo Jesus, my dearly beloved. How can you not love him. Just rewatch his Gethsemane for the 1000th time. His vocals are out of this world, man has organ pipes in place of vocal chords. Props to him for actually crying in gethsemane and still killing it. Absolutely fantastic. And his beautiful hair and those brown eyes really add to it. He's such a sad pathetic man, it's great. No complaints 10/10

Glenn Carter - 2000 movie

I'm shaking, please buy him brown contacts. I am a glensus hater, although I have to admit that during my second viewing I didn't dislike him as much. Easily my least favourite gethsemane (lmm excluded), except his delivery of "what you started, I didn't start it", that was surprisingly good. Again, I'm a hater but bonus points for the entertainment factor. 4/10

Paul Nolan - 2012 Broadway revival

BORING! Sorry your trouple doesn't save you from being so incredibly bland. It's like looking at a white wall that has just been painted over and you're watching it dry. Gethsemane is solid vocally, I like his interactions with others. But Jesus himself? No thanks. The staging of the crucifixion was so great, but then there he is with his mouth agape like a baby bird being fed and unconvincing "suffering". Also, no blood? 3/10

Ben Forster - 2012 UK Arena tour

THIS IS THE ONE. My roman empire. My most dear blorbo. He's been living in my head rent free for months. I love him so much. He's just so incredibly stressed out and angsty and pathetic and constantly on the verge of a complete mental breakdown. His gethsemane is my favourite. Just pretty much everything I could want from a performance of it. The way he curls up on the floor? The little moments when his voice breaks a bit from emotion?? The knee thing??? Great, fantastic, stunning, no notes. Also I adore his costuming, finally Jesus is given something more interesting. 11/10

John Legend - 2018 NBC

Hot take, but he's not nearly as bad as people make him out to be. He's just fine. I do enjoy his voice, Poor Jerusalem is especially good. Although I don't love his acting in the second act, but I really liked him in the first one. This Jesus just seems really nice and friendly and I love that. Gethsemane is solid vocally, even without the G5. Anyways he's not bad at all! 6/10

Andrew Latobesi - 2018 Villanova College

This was another wildcard from the watch party. Jesus didn't stand out much because we were all a bit distracted by Judi. And Mary. He was bland and the acting was not fantastic, but this is a high school prod, and for what it's worth he's not bad. Gethsemane was solid enough considering everything. The crucifixion surprisingly hit, good crying there. ??/10 since I don't think it would be fair to rank him against all those adult professional performers.

Jack Hopewell - 50th Anniversary North America tour

The only Jesus that made me cry while watching. He suffers real good (and looks very pretty while doing so). He's just so- so... I just wanted to wrap him up in a soft blanket and give him a kiss on the forehead and feed him soup. Tbh I think he's one of the best vocally too. His high note is my fav. Gethsemane in general is just great too. Love how much he's just some silly guy who then has to face the Horrors. He's just very cute :] 10/10

Jeangu Macrooy - 2024 Netherlands national tour

The most poor little meow meow Jesus ever. He's so pathetic it's great. Him smiling and being happy was also so cute. Really good vocals too, man killed those high notes. His gethsemane too... Jeangu Macrooy absolutely steels the show and it's fantastic and incredibly heartbreaking. Want to see his performance again so so badly. In the meantime everyone should check out a snippet of his performance 10/10

"What is wrong with that man?!" and then add Louis actually trying to fix Lestat by having him only kill evil people.

4. False God - POV Louis and Lestat We were crazy to think, crazy to think that this could work. But we might just get away with it, religion's in your lips, even if it's a false god. BESTIES BESTIES BESTIES. THE ULTIMATE DUO. yuri and mingi ARE THE DUO. literally icons, LEGENDS. whenever the two of them are together, yk you’re about to have a good time.

they are both so chaotic and their vibes ALWAYS match. they will never fail to make eachother and you laugh. they are literally inseparable. they always joke and say that their souls and emotions are connected, and there are countless of compilations of the two of them being on the same brain wavelength.

mingi is the lalala and yuri is the okay okay okay. there was one youtube video of mingi and yuri, and mingi DESPERATELY wanting to do the intro but he didn’t even know what the video was about, so yuri was holding papers up telling him what to say behind the camera, and it was SO OBVIOUS. yuri kept yelling at him because he kept messing up 😭. it’s so funny whenever yuri and mingi are teamed up together because yuri always blames everything on mingi and he’s like WHAT DID I DO???

even if they tease eachother a lot, they are always there for eachother. mingi and yuri facetimed pretty much every night when they both had their hiatus. and when ateez was known as kq fellaz, yuri went home with mingi for every holiday, and mingi’s family (as well as all of ateez’s family) adopted yuri as their own daughter :(. mingi complains that his mom calls yuri more that him 😭

SAN

san helped yuri get out of her shell so so much during pre-debut! before yuri transferred to KQ, she considered herself an extrovert. after having a few waves of anxiety, she found herself being able to make friends to ease, in fact, she had so so many friends at JYP. but once yuri left the busy environment of JYP and transferred to a smaller company, yuri found herself struggling to connect to the boys. she adored them, she really did, but she was so used to being surrounded by people she knew since age 15, she wasn’t used to being in a room full of strangers every day.

san had noticed that she was often by herself during breaks or during stretches, and he always made an effort to make sure yuri felt included. whether that asking her questions to get her in the conversation, or simply walking over and sitting next to her, san had done it, until eventually, yuri didn’t have to be coaxed out of her own bubble.

now, yuri and san can be seen CONSTANTLY sitting in their own world. they can be so oblivious to their surroundings when their together - they can either be sitting in comfortable silence (rarely, only happens when they are really tired), gossiping (most likely), or giggling over memes (most likely of each other 🥰). san never fails to bring her soft side out!!

the two of them dancing together? 4 + 4 = ATE!!! san just makes her dancing so much powerful, it’s the VIBES!!!

It’s Steven’s birthday and Greg is thinking about his mom. But, that won’t get in the way of their fun day out in Delaware.

Greg Universe sighed, and checked his phone — It was August 15, Steven’s Birthday. Greg looked up at the ceiling of the wooden beach house. He looked at his phone, his wallpaper was of him and Steven with the Crystal Gems. Greg sighed again, he opened his phone went to his camera roll, and found a file titled “Rose.” Greg’s finger hovered on the screen, He pressed it and then saw videos and pictures from his VHS tapes that he and Rose recorded together.

Greg saw his favorite one. That was the day that She was going to have a baby with him. When his girlfriend told him that she and Steven couldn’t both exist, he was devastated. He wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. He wanted to grow old with her — well, she couldn’t age because her body was just an illusion. Greg didn’t understand Gem stuff, and he probably never will but….

He knew that he missed her a lot. But, at least he has Steven. He smiled as he sat up, the man looked up at his loft bedroom, the half-gem was sleeping peacefully in bed. Steven was kind enough to have him stay over the night for his birthday tomorrow. Steven, Amethyst, Connie, Lapis, Paradot, and himself were all going to go to the arcade together.

Greg saw a video, he read the top of the screen that said August 2, 2000 9:42 PM. He clicked on it and started to watch it.

“Hey, you wanna dance?” Greg asked her. Rose smiled and walked towards him. Rose was nine months with Steven. And they were trying to spend as much time as possible.

Greg smiled as he set the camera up on a tripod. He walked over to her, wearing his Jordans that he got at a thrift shop. Rose had a pair of Jordans too, but the Nike Swoosh was hot pink — just like her hair color, and the rest of the shoe was white. They danced to the music of ‘Your Beautiful’ by ‘James Blunt’

Greg and Rose both kissed after the song ended. Greg put his phone on the charger and tried to get to sleep.

He clenched the fabric softly where his gem was placed and smiled, he ran down the stairs with his camera and got started on breakfast.

“STEVEN!” Amethyst screamed in his ear making the boy jump a few feet in the air. Literally.

“Ah, Amethyst!” he yelled. Amethyst laughed as she saw the half-gem boy float down to the ground.

“Happy Birthday, dude!” She said. Steven smiled and hugged his friend. “You excited for today?”

“Yeah! It’s a birthday vlog thingy,” he said as he continued cooking his eggs. he put them on a plate and ate them.

Just then, the screen door opened. It was Connie, Steven’s best friend. Steven ran up and hugged her. “Happy Birthday, Steven!” Connie said.

“Thanks, Connie!” he said happily. “Hey, where’s Pearl and Garnet?” she asked.

“I don’t know.” Then, he got a video call on his laptop, the music lowered as his MacBook Pro started showing an icon. Steven ran up the stairs, sat on his bed, and picked up his laptop, he saw that it said ‘Paradot’ He smiled as he clicked the green Accept button.

“Hey, Paridot, Lapis. What’s up?”

“Happy Birthday Steven!” Both Lapis and Paradot said.

Steven smiled. “Thank you,” he said.

“Hey, I’ll see you at the party.”

“Okay! we're having it at the arcade right?” Lapis asked the boy.

Steven nodded. Then she hung up after exchanging goodbyes. Steven walked downstairs and got a text from his dad.

Grab a pair of shoes, Schtu-ball.

Steven sent a thumbs up emoji and went upstairs grabbed his white and red Jordan’s and tied them with a pair of socks. He went downstairs, Connie was sitting in the kitchen with Amythest, talking. Greg walked in.

“Happy Birthday, Schtu-ball!” he said, Steven ran up to him and hugged him. “Thanks, Dad!” Greg smiled picked him up and spun him around. Steven laughed as he was being spun.

“You kids ready to go?”

Greg and Steven sang the lyrics to the song, Steven opened the window and put his hand out, the smell of the sand and the salty beach air hit his nose as they drove.

Steven turned to his father, he was curious why they didn’t go to the arcade like they planned to.

The solo kicked in, they listened to it. Then someone broke the silence. “Yo, G. Why aren’t we going to the arcade?” Amethyst asked. Connie looked at the back of the driver’s seat. Greg smiled and said nothing, Steven was wondering that too.

“Daaaad! Why aren’t we going to the arcade?”

“You’ll see soon enough, Steven. It’s a surprise.” Seven nodded, stars still in his eyes as he sat there. Can’t help to contain his excitement for this trip.

They've made it to the Bowling Alley located in Pike Washington Delaware–Pleasant Hill Lanes was their party destination. Steven had birthday parties here since he started growing up at eight years old.

“Dad! Where bowling?!” Greg smiled and ruffled his fluffy hair. Steven smiled and stepped out of the van. He got a text from Pearl that their table was ready. Steven smiled as he saw the place.

The half-gem boy's eyes sparkled as he saw a spacious bowling alley with a large open area and various seating options. There are multiple rows of bowling lanes, some of which are lined with green pins. A total of six bowling lanes can be seen in the scene, each one having its own set of pins and bowling balls.

The room is filled with various furniture pieces such as chairs, couches, and tables. In addition to the bowling lanes, there are two couches placed at different locations within the space. One couch is situated closer to the left side of the room, while another is located near the right side. There are also several dining tables scattered throughout the area, offering a comfortable setting for guests to relax and enjoy their time.

“Where are Pearl and Garnet?” Connie asked.

“Pearl texted me that she was at lanes one and two,” Greg said. Steven ran to lane one to see the pale-skinned gem setting up. “Pearl!” Steven said, running towards her.

“Hello! Steven! Happy Birthday!” Pearl said, hugging him. “I can’t believe that you're fourteen!” Steven smiled and looked around, there were balloons, plates, and chairs decorated with a Transformers and Sonic The Hedgehog theme.

“Everything looks great, Pearl!” Greg said. She gave them a thumbs up.

“Who’s coming?”

“Sadie, Lars, Sour Cream, Onion, Kiki, and Buck,” she said, reading the names off her clipboard.

“Ugh, you look like a high school teacher holding that, dude.” Amethyst rolled her eyes at her.

“Amethyst!”

“What?! you do!”

“Hey, has anyone seen Garnet?”

“I asked her to get some food for the party,” Pearl told the man. Greg nodded

Steven looked at the arcade. “Amethyst, wanna play at the arcade?”

“Okay! Yo, Greg, can you give us some cash!” She asked, Greg nodded, pulled out his Batman wallet, and handed them twenty dollars.

“AWESOME!” Both Amythest and Steven both said, both Gem and Half-Gem ran to the arcade.

Then, Greg saw Garnet walk in holding veggie platters in her hands. “Hey, Garnet. What’s up?” Greg asked. Connie stood there, Greg noticed this. “Connie, you okay?”

“What? Yeah! I’m fine I’m going to play with Steven and Amythest.” she said, walking off.

Greg, Pearl, and Garnet were setting up. Garnet was opening up plates and napkins, Pearl opened up the veggie platter, she tried not to gag and cringe in disgust from the sight of food, and thinking about people eating it. Greg stared at her.

“Pearl, you alright?”

“Yeah yeah! I’m fine! just the sight of food makes me…..” she couldn’t finish that sentence.

Geeze… she’s so dramatic. Greg thought to himself, as he looked at his phone, Steven’s cake was ready to get picked up. He was going to a special bakery in Delaware to retrieve it.

Greg grabbed the keys to his van and he walked out of the building. He unlocked his van sat inside and turned it on, the engine hummed to life as he drove to the bakery.

He was at the bakery, A woman walked out with his cake. “Here you go, Mr. Universe.” Greg smiled as he paid for it. He grabbed the box and went back to his van.

He drove back to Pleasant Hill Lanes and went inside. Steven, Connie, and Amythest were still playing in the arcade, Sadie was now there with Lars, Sour Cream, Onion, Buck, Kiki, Lapis, and Paradot.

“Hey Mr. U! Where’s Steven?” Buck Dewey asked the older man, who was holding the box.

“Oh, he’s in the arcade, let me text him,” he said, putting the cake down pulling out his iPhone 5s from his pocket, and texting him. The blue iMessage bubble pops up. Steven read it and typed back. OK, I’ll be there now. he texted.

The half Gem ran with Amythest following behind him. “Hi guys!” he said cheerfully.

“Hey, Steven!” Sadie waved. Lars stood there, and Sadie elbowed him in the stomach. “Ow! What was that for?”

“Tell Steven Happy Birthday!”

Lars grumbled. “Happy Birthday, Steven…”

“Aren’t you like…. Ten?” he asked.

“He’s fifteen, Lars!” Sadie hissed.

“Okay, jeez! so-rry!” he said, Sadie smiled and handed a gift bag to Greg. “Thanks, guys,” he said, putting Lars' gift bag on the table as well. The young Gem Hydrid smiled at them, Sadie smiled and ruffled his hair. “Happy Birthday, little dude!”

“Happy Birthday, Steven! Paradot and I got you a gift,” she said, handing him the bag.

“Thanks, guys.” he smiled

Lars sighed and tried to smile. “Happy Birthday, Steven.” he sighed, wondering why he was here. And why did Sadie force him to go, he wasn’t friends with a… Tenth grader — or, fifth grader, in Lars’ opinion.

Then, Kiki, Buck, Sour Cream, and his little brother Onion walked in. Lars was about to scream when he saw The Cool Kids here.

“H-Hey guys, what are you doing at this lame kids' party?” Lars asked. Sadie glared at him.

Sour Cream stuffed his hands in his pockets and looked at Steven. “Hey, Steven asked us to come, he’s pretty awesome. Give him a chance.”

“Ugh, whatever…” he said, crossing his arms.

Steven walked up to the counter to get bowling shoes. He grabbed his shoes and put them on, he strapped the velcro to his shoes and then stood up. Sadie grabbed some bowling balls for them. Steven put everyone’s names on the screen.

“Hey, Pearl aren’t you playing with us?” Steven asked, putting his name on the board. “I am fine, Steven. Plus, I’m not wearing those… Disgusting bowing shoes. Everyone puts their feet in those.” she cringed. Amethyst rolled her eyes as She put on her bowling shoes, then she walked up to the screen to put her, Garnet’s Lapis’ and Paradot’s names in.

“Alright, we're all set, Sadie you're up first,” Steven told his friend. Sadie picked up her ball and rolled it down the lane. Steven looked as the pins crashed. Steven saw that she got a strike.

“Nice job, Sadie!” Steven said. Encouraging her. Sadie smiled and sat down, Lars went next.

Picking up his bowling ball after sticking his fingers into the three holes, he rolled it down the lane. His ball went to the side.

“Why?!” Lars said he got another chance, he got it but it was two pins. “You gotta be kidding me! Steven, did you rig this game?!” Lars asked picking the boy up by the shirt.

“Lars! put him down!” Sour Cream said,

“Put him down, dude!” Kiki told him, glaring at the taller boy. Lars sighed and put him down. “Sorry, Steven,” Kiki said. Steven smiled. “That’s alright! I know he was just kidding around!” the Half Gem said as he went next, Steven picked up his bowling ball and threw it, his friends cheered as he got a strike.

“Way to go, Steven!” Kiki said from the other lane, Steven blushed and walked over to his friends, Buck was up now. Kiki, Onion, Amethyst, and Garnet were on the other lane.

Kiki saw Garnet go. She got a strike as well. “Nice, Garnet!” Kiki said. They played two rounds before they had lunch.

Greg returned with pizzas in his hands, Steven grabbed a slice. So as his friends and Amethyst. He grabbed a slice and sat next to his son.

Amethyst smiled and put a hand on Steven’s shoulder. Steven’s friends all sat and talked, except Lars.

“This is awesome!” Paradot exclaimed as she saw her name up on the screen, Lapis and Paradot took two turns each while all of them were eating. Once they were done, Garnet pulled out the cake and she opened it, The fusion removed it from the box and Steven stared at it in awe with stars in his eyes.

The birthday cake is a very unique and creative design, with a green and white fondant cake as the main base. The cake features a large, multi-layered cake decorated with various characters from the Sonic The Hedgehog video game series, including Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose. The characters were placed around the edges of the cake, giving it a whimsical and playful appearance.

Additionally, there are several smaller cakes placed throughout the arrangement, each one decorated with a different character. A small cupcake is also visible towards the bottom left corner of the cake. The cake stands on a dining table, surrounded by various items such as cups, bowls, and plastic bottles, creating a fun and festive atmosphere for the birthday celebration.

In the middle, in yellow fondant, it said ‘HAPPY 14th BIRTHDAY STEVEN’ Amythest had to get pushed out of the way by Pearl. “Amethyst! down! we have to sing Steven Happy Birthday!”

“Oh, right…” Amythest said. Greg pulled out his iPhone and pressed record.

“Happy birthday to you!”

“Happy Birthday, my handsome half-gem .” Pearl said hugging him and kissing his cheek.

“Ahhh! Gem coodies!” Steven rubbed his cheek trying to get Pearl’s spit off. Amethyst laughed.

“MY HANDSOME HALF GEM!” Amythest laughed even harder. Lars also laughed, Steven blushed and leaned onto his chair. Garnet put a comforting hand on his shoulder. Steven looked at her, he smiled, and Garnet rubbed his hair. Steven blew out the candles and everyone cheered.

“Let’s eat some cake!” Amethyst said. Greg smiled and cut a piece for Steven, everyone got some, except for Pearl and Garnet. Steven ate his cake, everyone was having a good time. Greg saw the pictures taken on his phone, he walked to Steven.

“Pearl, can you take a picture of me and Steven?” Greg asked. Pearl took his phone from her and took a picture of both of them, then. Everyone got into the picture and an employee took the group photo of them.

I typically HATE pop/modern remixes/covers/remakes whatever the hell of classic rock songs, but imo, The Inseparables version of Where Is My Mind fucking slayed, devoured, ate and left no crumbs. It's majestic and I love it to pieces. Nearly started crying when I heard it. THAT'S HOW MAJESTIC THAT STUFF IS

LIKE THE FIRST TIME I HEARD IT I WAS LIKE NO FUCKING WAY PUGGY IS REMAKING THAT PIXIES SONG. puggy is already iconic with several other of that studios films, cause they made the soundtrack for the bigfoot movies (which were also directed by the same guy as the inseparables btw!) and the score for chickenhare and likely will be scoring chickenhare 2. AND LIKE, FOR THIS MOVIE THEY LITERALLY MADE EVERYTHING SO PERFECT, AND THIS????? LIKE THIS SONG MAKES ME FUCKING CRY TOO

AND LIKE OH MY GOD HIS WHOLE REALITY CHECK MOMENT IS SO HEARTBREAKING CAUSE LIKE. all he wanted was to find a way to use his creativity for something better, to not be confined to one thing all the time (especially one that gets him picked on), and of course, to gain some respect. ending up contradicting himself on every goal he was initially after and thus developing a tunnel vision of one conforming dynamic, like before, but different. he wasn’t wrong for committing heroism for others, but in the process he started forgetting to not just respect the couple people that actually try to respect him, but also forgetting to respect himself— which he realized in the beginning but completely lost track of after vaguely loosing his mind. AND THE FAKE CASTLE SCENE SHOWING THAT HES CHASING AFTER NOTHING IS SO FASCINATING TO WATCH GENUINELY. AND THE SONG JUST ADDS TO IT.

ALSO THE ART OF IT ALL IS HOW IT TIES BACK INTO THE END. CAUSE LIKE Don doesn’t really need anyone to build him back up, he humbled himself, but still remembers what he intially promised and still believes what’s right. he goes in with more self respect and still holds in his heart how to use creativity to save others. allowing others to respect their own strengths as actors, because nobody should have to be seen as one thing

TANGENTIALLY RELATED TO THE MUSIC but i also really love how rap is represented in this movie. usually rap isn’t taken as serious as other music genres and it’s frustrating to see all the time. so having this movie value and even encourage it is actually very interesting to me

ALSO DONT EVEN WORRY YOURE SO GOOD I LOVE TO HEAR FROM YA!! i also tend to ramble a lot about it and it gets pretty off topic but i just feel like the music ties everything together so well, i swear i could write an essay on everything about this movie HA
