Yajirobe came through just in time. All the supplies were restocked and his minor patches to the structure had been fixed by the good Doctor Brief. Almost everything was ready to go. Raditz tied the small sack of senzu beans to his belt and started to board his ship to depart again.

"Leaving so soon?" Hits his ears before he could duck his head to climb inside his upgraded pod, a gentle, knowing smile growing on his face before he turned around to see you. Trimmed to the teeth in your professional attire and lightly huffing- did you run here for him? You must have masked your energy to try to surprise him, he thought.

"Yeah." Raditz answered, moving to walk back down the ladder towards you as he placed his hands on his hips. "Finally come to see me off for a change. Guess you decided to take me up on my offer?" He quipped. A hint of a conversation that felt distant from the time between then and now, he could make light of it and it made you smile bigger. You pursed your lips with a soft laugh, tilting your head to look at the spaceship behind him.

You shook your head, "Why, so you can finally crash this old thing with your bad karma while I'm in it? No thanks." You teased in return, the heel of your shoes clinking the pavement as you adjust your stance. You preferred your feet on the ground these days, even as uncomfortable as wearing these shoes after a few hours could get. But that is your life now. "I actually just got off work. Just making sure you're not trying to run out without attempting to say goodbye again."

Raditz gave a subtle, guilty shrug and turned his gaze elsewhere. "Guess that explains your outfit. I thought you had a different uniform or something."

"I got prompted a while ago!" You proudly announced. "Now I gotta wear this boring thing, but they're payin' me well for it." Laughing as you gave a little curtsey.

"Moving up in the ranks. That's good- That's what you wanted, right?" He congratulates you, then mocked how the outfit looks nothing like something you would have worn before. "It looks nice on you."

He didn't overlook your other comment though. Raditz didn't purposely drop back into Earth just to avoid you. It could be assumed from the last few times you both spoke, or attempted to after your agreed separation, that there was no true reason to seek each other out anymore. It was all too complicated and you were both too busy with yourselves for a long time to clean up the ugly bits of it. Perhaps the latter was on purpose. Raditz sought to venture into the stars for his own reasons, liberated from the dead weight he was forced to honor and do his own thing for a change. He wanted to see what the universe had to offer him and he had you to share in the glory of it. Eager to explore his new purpose for life with you. And you didn't. You couldn't.

The Earth is all you have ever known and everything you ever wanted, you found it here. You were fulfilled in every aspect of life you could imagine without leaving this planet. Your family is here, all of your adventures with Goku and the others were here, dangers overcoming you and conquered here, and love... it came from far away and found you here. You have responsibilities that need you now- No more or less than your love for Raditz. He's not an earthling so maybe it all came as trivial little things you refused to let go of. But he understood your sense of duty to remain where you are as you understood his desire to be more than what he is. It is your love and understanding that would not allow either of you to hold the other back.

Forcing this notion that it was now set in stone and could not be changed. Leaning into your choices to suppress the hurt, swallowing your pride, and allowing what will be.

In the end, you both got what you wanted.

"I know where to find you if a goodbye is all you wanted." Raditz spoke up to break the small silence and looked down at you as you wandered around to the side of the ship. "You said it yourself, you're not going anywhere."

"Actually, I am." You addressed casually. You look over to the surprised look on his face and explained further. "-Moving, is all! I'm moving. I found a place closer to work so I'll be moving there soon." Without thought, Raditz moved off the ladder and walked up to you ready to offer his services.

"By yourself? Who's helping you move all your stuff?"

"I got a guy."

"-A guy?!" He shouted and took a handful of his hair looking more worried at you for more answers. You could see every question he wanted to ask in his face and it made you snort. In a way, reassuring..

"You're worrying about the wrong stuff, Raditz. It's a professional moving company- A recommendation, even. I would never..." You caught your words and cleared your throat, pursing your lips again before nervously laughing it off. "Um, I'm just-... Not familiar with the people coming, but I trust Krillin's word."

Ah, then he has embarrassed himself. You catch the tinge of color in his face before he rights his posture and turns away to hide it. "R-Right, of course! That's good then!"

"Thank you." You giggled. It fell silent again and you figured you best not cling to avoid saying anything embarrassing yourself. "Well, I won't keep you. It was good to see you again, Raditz."

"-Wait." Raditz spun around, halting you in your steps. He reaches into the lining of his chestplate and pulls out a string, you immediately recognize it as a broken hair tie. Your brow furrows and you sigh.

"Another one? Seriously?"

"It wasn't my fault this time, it snapped in battle." He pointed out, watching as you swung your purse out in front of you and dug inside it. You wrap a ribbon around your finger and motion for him to follow you, walking up the inclined ladder of the space pod just enough that you could stand higher than he did. Raditz turned his back to you and started to gather up his hair. Once his larger hands held it all in place, you stretched the ribbon around, knotting it once and wrapping it again until you could secure the ends under. You smoothed his hair back with your hands and added a hair tie to held hold his ponytail in place.

"Here's an extra one, don't lose it." You dug out another one and reached over his shoulder for his hand to take it. Impossible for his larger fingers to not stroke yours as he did and they are still as rough as you remembered. You can only imagine what kind of trouble they find out there. Raditz's touch finds you again, resting on top of your other hand and surprising you when you realized it lingered on his shoulder a moment too long. Softly breathing, you pull away and move to sit on the ladder.

"Don't-... Try to keep out of situations you can't handle out there." You fiddled with your fingers in your lap, staring down. "If the Frieza Force really is still the problem you say they are, I know you can handle it. But ya know...Super Saiyan or not, don't get-"

"Now who's worrying." He interrupted you with a teasing grin. He won't pretend to know how you know what he's doing off-world, but he's sure the nosiest of Brief scientists has something to do with it.

"I mean it." You pushed, clutching your hands in your lap and looking up at the long ponytail before you. "I do worry, still. If anything was to happen to you... I don't know... If I can handle it, you know? You're out there all alone while we're all here on Earth. By the time we can do anything about it-" Raditz turns around to you as you wiped your face and sighed deeply. "We don't know what else is out there."

"Hm...Well then, that's enough for me." He turns his gaze up to the changing scenery, the deep orange sky shifting to shades of purple and blue. Earth, too, just as peaceful as he remembers it. "It's where I want to be. More like where I'm needed right now, really." Raditz turns back to you, tail swaying calmly behind him as he places his hand on your shoulder and leans over closer. "Just because Frieza's dead doesn't mean his influence and the scum still loyal to him are not a big deal. Someone's gotta clean them up. If anything out there is worse than that, then I'll have the tactical advantage over it on its own turf." He reassured, tilting your head up to look at him.

There was more than enough standing forces on Earth to deal with anything that slips by, including Kakarot and Vegeta, so he could handle the rest. The known threat to the universe.

"Wait a minute- are you thinking little of me again? I'll have you know my power has exceeded beating the crap out of Frieza's pathetic leftover minions." Raditz playfully jeered you, flexing his other arm to show off for you. You couldn't help but laugh, reaching to hold the bulging muscle in both your hands.

"I can tell." You agreed. Jealous that saiyans could do the bare minimum and maintain such a marvelous physique, but even improve little by little from it too. Something out there is keeping him in shape. To tease further, you poked a finger into the side of his armor. "You even look a little chubbier since I last saw you. My little Raditz is still growing. I'd up the gravity in there if I were you."

"Hey!" Flashing his temper as he swatted your hand away, making you burst out laughing harder.

"Kidding! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" You pleaded through your unflattering laughter trying to calm yourself. Leaning against him as you did so. "It's just... you've really grown. I'm proud of you, Raditz. Proud that we seem to be right where we want to be. We're alright."

"Yeah...we are." He smiles, taking hold of your hand. That grip made you want to spill your whole heart, but you clutched it all inside tight. Something in his lingering gaze set your nerves at ease. And yet, you are tempted to live in the comfort of the past again. 'I miss you', you wanted to say, 'I want to take it back'. You wanted to feel his lips without asking just like before.

Instead, you pull yourself away and slide off the side of the ladder onto your feet. "Well, I've embarrassed myself for the day. I better let you go. I do have to get ready for work tomorrow." You quickly step away from the ship, just enough to not be completely in the way when it takes off.

Raditz, clutching his empty hands, floats back up to the ladder and returns to the threshold of the ship. He looks back over his shoulder toward you. "You know I'll be back when it's all over!" He shouts.

"I know!" You called back, smiling warmly. "I'll be waiting! We will be seeing each other again soon." You waved him off. "Kick some ass in the meantime."

Raditz smiles over his shoulder and ducks into his pod. "You too."

And as much as she had learned from her mother, she’d learned just as much from her mother’s mistakes. Narcissa wasn’t going to be another second rate has-been, trapped on the isle forever reliving her glory days. No, when she took her shot, she was going to win. Silly keygen-insp oc shared with a friend of mine, their name's Olivina Baregeresk :D

Basically it started with me and my friend fucking around and deciding to make ocs based on keygen songs via shuffling (I got Baregeresk and he got Geuberjeit) and it eventually evolved into a full fledged, but still wip story + Vocaloid and SynthV song series we've dubbed Spirits of Octavia!

This art was actually for a song I made, La Caduta di una Angela, which can be found here!

Currently, my friend and I are working on part 2, which introduces August Geuberjeit, the main antagonist who's an unstable diety who longs to climb the ranks to obtain power.

is it weird to say she loves working. or at least she likes being busy. shes the type to remind the teacher if she forgot to assign homework cuz she likes doing it LOL she goes a little stir crazy when she has nothing to do (which is why shes particularly insufferable during her unemployment arc)..she enjoys cleaning. daydreaming. watching movies. she has a small interest in fashion and gardening. many such cases.

HATE..? working for BOOSTER...particularly. eventually. she used to like it. she doesnt like cooking and avoids it if she can (shes not bad at it she just doesnt like it/finds it tedious) mm despite being desperate for attention and glory and stares and cheers i think she found the socializing/networking part of work pretty draining, but she powered through cuz it was important. something she dreaded a bit though i think.

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

what do i LIKE about casey..? NOTHINGGGGGG just kidding. im a strong believer in We need more female characters that are deadbeat boyfriends. If you look at my character insp board i made while crafting her youll see i put a lot of things i love from a lot of my favorite characters in stuff into her, so it was very easy to get obsessed with her. (even though i discovered starscream well after i made casey when you look at those similarities and how ss is my favorite transformer.......well i love cowardly stupid freakazoids who feel no remorse for their wrongdoings...) shes also a great artistic outlet for how badly i want to hit booster gold whenever i see him. i love everything about casey! hes my sweetheart

okay so i’ve had three very loose ideas for fics and i really want to get started on writing one of them! so i’m going to write out three really rough synopsis of them and if anyone has any preference, comments, questions, ideas to make something better or anything at all please let me know ! i also want to note side ships/characters are very very underdeveloped so if you have any suggestions for them i’d love to hear them !

option 1 - twice band au (insp. daisy jones & the six) - in 1996 the all female pop-rock band ‘fatal flaw’ took the world by storm. their edgy style, seductive lyrics, and catchy sound made them impossible to ignore. critics thought they’d be a flash in the pan, after all they were just a group of friends who started a band in a garage. but the critics severely underestimated how much appeal a group of six beautiful women with captivating chemistry would have to the masses. their debut album ‘feels so good’ helped them get their name out there. however, their sophomore album ‘insatiable’ is what skyrocketed them to levels of fame they could have never prepared for. the group had the potential to go all the way, become a band that would inspire generations to come. but during their infamous world tour for their third album ‘glory days’ things came to a shocking end. halfway through the tour the band announced their last performance - and what a performance it was. their legacy has long surpassed their actual career. for years fans have wondered what caused the band to break up. and for years the members have wondered if any of it was worth it.

option 2 - misana!vampire x slayer!jihyo au (insp. buffy the vampire slayer x vampire diaries universe) - in every generation there is one human destined to protect the world from vampires, this human is known as they slayer. this generation’s slayer is park jihyo. at the age of fifteen jihyo killed her first vampire and since then her world has never been the same. forced to grow up at a young age, jihyo can hardly remember life before defeating the supernatural and keeping balance in the world. with training and guidance from her mentor, jihyo takes the duties of her role as slayer very seriously. one day she will rid this world of vampires, she just has to figure it out first. 

mina is one of the world’s original vampires. in the early years of civilization, there was a small village in what is now modern day japan that is known to be the origin of the vampires. in a last ditch effort before an invasion, a group of powerful women gathered to sacrifice themselves to the gods to protect their village. mina doesn’t know what made her the way she is now, if it was truly the gods answering their prayers, some sort of witch craft, or some greater evil cursing them. all mina knows is that after the sacrifice she and a three other women had been reborn as creatures the world had never seen before. they gifted (cursed) with powers no being should possess. they were faster and stronger than any human could ever become. their bodies were regenerative, every wound would mend itself in just moments. they were the perfect soldiers and when the time came they defended their village with ease. but their new forms were unpredictable and the blood lust and eternal life were a surprise that cost the villagers their lives. the girls were insatiable and ripped through not only the attackers but their own people. over the years as they honed in their abilities and realized death would not come the original vampires drifted apart. as far as mina knows they’re all still alive-or whatever this state of life was called- and have since created several lineages of vampires that now infest the world. for centuries mina has isolated herself from the world after creating her biggest mistake: sana. now, desperate to find a way to end her life mina seeks out the slayer. mina wants to end her suffering, she’s tired of being alone, unchanging, and reminded of all the atrocities she’s committed. however, no matter how many times she tries to kill herself, nothing will work. on the other side of the world sana gets wind of mina’s plan and is dead set on stopping her. sana was the first person mina ever turned, their love so strong they wanted to spend an eternity in each other’s arms. however, when sana turned her humanity was switched off and she became someting unrecognizable. she has since built one of the strongest vampire clans in the world and can’t lose this empire she’s made. no original has ever died and she fears what may happen if one does... especially when it’s her creator. 

jihyo is skeptical of mina’s intentions since she’s never had a vampire willingly hand themselves over to her. but she quickly realizes mina’s sincerity and agrees to help her with this crazy task. mina would be the first original vampire to ever die.

option 3 - 3mix soulmate au (insp. soulmate countdown) - everyone is born with timers on their wrists counting down to 0 until they meet their soulmate. jeongyeon’s went off when she was performing at her first trainee showcase and she heard “finally now i have a same age friend” from the audience. her heart felt like it had stopped for a moment when she met a pair of big sparkly eyes and a bright smile a few rows down. jeongyeon and jihyo have been soulmates for ten years now. with the huge market that kpop is growing into, a sense of closeness and attainability is one of the biggest marketing tactics of the industry. no idol is to disclose their timer to give off the illusion that they could be anyone’s soulmate (though companies say it’s to protect their idol’s privacy). fans flock to fansigns and concerts with dreams of locking eyes with their idol and their timer stopping. others like to fantasize about members of groups having their souls intertwined and ship members as ‘soulmates hidden in plain sight.’ most shippers resent anyone close to their idol in fear they might be connected by fate. as one of the most famous kpop groups, ICON is closely monitored to make sure there is never any slip ups with their timers.

unfortunately all hell breaks loose when dispatch releases a photo showing jeongyeon’s timer: “00:00:00:00″. fans react as expected: shock, anger, resentment, support but most of all fans react with curiosity. in a frenzy fans try to determine who jeongyeon’s soulmate is. it doesn’t take long for several theories to pop up, but one theory seems to have much more traction than the rest: jeongyeon’s soulmate is nayeon. the ship had always been popular among fans as the duo had been close since their trainee days. plus, the had a certain allure with their push-pull dynamic that made fans go crazy. for years fans had theorized about their relationship, only now they were sure they had been right all along. ICON’s company realized the marketing potential of the pair and quickly pulled nayeon and jeongyeon into a meeting. the two would come forward as a couple and they would be able to push the soulmates angle, 10 years of friendship, they’d been through everything together and been in love through it all. despite jeongyeon’s protests and advocating for the truth because jihyo was still a member of the group and after all, it was THEIR story the company was trying to market - the company wasn't going to have it. before the meeting even ended the company already confirmed 2yeon’s relationship to the world despite it being completely fabricated.

lol I may have accidentally made a Tomoe Ame fan-descendant help

so basically, last month in April, I started writing down the plot beats for a story idea I got based on a little background detail in the show.

there is this white rabbit with blue hair featured in an ad and I thought it must be some super-subtle reference to a story idea the crew had but couldn't use. except when I looked it up in the episode itself, it was a cat, not a rabbit. However when I started looking for production art posted by any of the art crew online, I found this (from Guillaume Montoya's artstation portfolio):

so I had been right and she WAS a rabbit! I was so confused but so elated! It felt like some important detail!

So I started thinking: maybe the detail was changed to avoid the audience over-connecting the pieces that weren't there? The rabbits in the Miyamoto clan were rabbits with long ears, so this background detail definitely had to go, to avoid any confusion. after all, in the show Gen says, "first time I'm seeing a rabbit" - rabbits haven't been seen in a long time in Neo Edo. So what happened to em?

Then I started writing down more idea-lines.

Most obvious: what if this is related to Usagi's parents somehow? What if Chikabuma and the other gang leaders know something about this lost star?

Oooh, what if she's a lost spirit and the Ki-stone being less connected to the city means she can finally show her ghastly face?

Next obvious: Who replaced her? Who's this new white and blue cat? What if she's somehow related

I'll name her Tomoyo, and she'll sufferbunder this new role because she does not actually want to be famous for being famous... she wants to be a true samurai!

Today's thoughts: what if she's related to Tomoe Ame, becuase of the candy (get it? bc Tomoe Ame was based on the name of a candy... there's friendship candy in the show.......)

so that's the thoughtline I had behind this character xD

basically I had two character ideas: a ghost lady who hates Miyamoto Usagi and possesses Usagi to relive her glory days as a pop star and a Tomoe Ame-like character who unwantingly took her place and was about to see a lot of changes to her life. I’ve already got a whole 8-page doc outlined about the story I have using both these characters but i’m a bit scared to post it all half-baked as it is and would prefer to make it a comic/animatic, even tho both will arguably take longer to make xD

anyway, i have been silently thinking abt this since the start of may and idk when I'll post more abt it outside of twt but it's exciting to think about. I’m not that interested in making a “Tomoe Ame proper” adaptation, bc it seems like the show itself also wanted to give more freedom to interpretation + not muck up the history/future of the comic too much, so I’ve got my own historical sources of insp to look into for now. still excited tho! i can tell you it's a boromir lives amnesia fic where aragorn is so polyamorous he cries

a while ago i was fantasizing about like, the boromir-arwen side of the love triangle and decided i thought their dynamic could be incredible (two chivalrous courtly lovers who bond over their destiny-riddled third half) so i give arwen plenty of time in the spotlight in that fic as well

as for boromir and aragorn, they are as dramatic as ever

“There was- kingsfoil, that’s the name, kingsfoil in the arrow-wounds,” Boromir continued. “... I expect that was the work of the King. He was a ranger in the realm where Arnor once stood, isn’t that right? A ranger’s knowledge of medicine.”

“To use athalas on wounds is an elven remedy,” Arwen told him. “Before Aragorn was a ranger, he lived in Rivendell among elves for many years.”

Boromir watched Aragorn for a while. “I do not know why,” he said, “but that seems to explain some things about him.”

“Indeed,” Arwen agreed. “Continue about Lórien, please.”

i'm still not sure whether i'll finish this one as i've hit a tough spot in it, but i love the concept so much that i can't bear to delete it - boromir my babygirl for real
