A couple of years ago, @tackytigerfic and I decided to collaborate on a (short! definitely short!) Draco/Ron fic for @sitp-recs' birthday. Dreaming Skies (21k, E), a not-so-short fic about Draco going to work with Ron at Charlie's dragon reserve in Romania, was written in thirteen manic days, and this week has reached ONE THOUSAND kudos❤️🎉!!! And to top it off, the ridiculously talented and endlessly lovely El created this gorgeous artwork to celebrate!! Absolutely perfect vibes, Indiana Jones eat your heart out (Ron has a bullwhip in the fic, for background).❤️Make sure you click to zoom in on Ron's freckles! Draco's amulet! when i, a professional artist (someone who draws once a year and has the skill of a talented first grader) get discouraged, i find myself drawing incredible portraits of felines mixed with shelled gastropods (partially articulate scribbles of snailcats) so i feel at least something of accomplishment before i put my tools of expertise away (shove my eight year old sketch book under my bed to stumble upon at some point within the decade) and retire for the day (for the rest of my life).
