"Hehehehe!! I hope your day has been super good-- But it's only going to get better, because you know why? Presents from me! Ayumi Arakawa, MC Beating Heart!" Rapping God of Japan!" That was surely a title, but hey-- She earned it with her rep of taking down an entire sketchy but well known record label! But enough about her. This was about Shuichi! The Birthday Guy!

She holds out a bag for him! Inside were hard-cover collector editions of a certain series he liked! Even signed by the authors themselves!

"I heard one of your fave serious even got an audio drama released so...along with the books-- Tah-dah! CDs of the Audio Drama! Hehehe! They have my fave seiiyuu in it, so I might start readin' that series myself!" Of course, one way to get her into a series... was the voice actors; especially if they voiced certain 2d Husbands. But those were also in the bag too!

"Anyways, nothing but the best for my bestie!!! Happy Birthday, Sushi-kun!!!! There's something special in the bottom of the bag too...~ Heheh! Don't tell Izzy! It's for your eyes only! Aaand maybe open it private." Ayumi sticks her tongue out playfully. Oh she knew about her bestie's special interest.

Thank you, thank you, bestie!" And Shuichi was always more than happy to return the hugs she gives him right back: he loves her hugs!

Once he's put down, he rapidly nods his head. "Thank you!! Yes, my day has been wonderful. Ahaha, that's right: made all the more better because you're here! Hehehe, no better person to receive presents from: the MC Beating Heart, herself! I'm so lucky!" He laughs, of course hyping her up like she deserves to be!

The moment he receives the bag from her, Shuichi curiously opens it up to see what's inside. "Ohhh...!!" His eyes practically sparkle when first seeing the collectors edition of one of his favorite series: a detective anime he's been really getting into! "Is this the collector's edition!? And it's even got his signature...!!!!" Which he can't imagine how hard that must have been to get..! Or maybe for someone as famous as Ayumi, probably much easier. Either way, he was ecstatic.. all the more when she tells him she even got CD's of the audio dramas!

"You even got the audio dramas, too! I've been really wanting these, th-thank you so much!! For this and the books! Ahh, I see: ahaha, I had a feeling I heard one of your favorite seiyuu that you mentioned once... and yes, you should!! It's really good... think of detectives, but with special abilities! I could see you liking some of the guys: maybe even become one of your '2d husbands of the week.'" He jokes with a chuckle, knowing how much she loves her pretty boys.

"Ahaha, and that's why you're the best bestie, ever. Thank you so much, Ayumi! I can't wait to read the books and listen to the audio dramas later! I'll even tell you the parts your favorite seiyuus come on in case you get curious, hehehe... ....Oh?" He blinks when she suddenly teases about something special being at the bottom of the bag: and to not let Izuru know about it... and to open it in private...?! "U....U-Umm...A-Ayumi?? Wh...What exactly did you give me....? That I can't even tell Izuru abou...."

He peeks at the bottom of the bag. Trying to get a look of the cover as best he can without needing to take it out... and now he sees why she told him to open it in public, because he nearly drops the bag when he sees who is on the cover!! "...taaaAAAA-waaaawaahh?!?! I-Is....!!!! I-Is that...!??! Uwaaaaah...?!?"

It was Izuru. Shirtless Izuru on the cover of this gravure magazine. "O-Oh my god oh ym god my godddd-" Oh Shuichi has turned immediately red at the sight, and is packing everything back in the bag to completely cover the magazine at the bottom at lightening speed!! He's sorry, Ayumi, but those books and audio dramas might not be the first thing to peeks at tonight the moment he's back in his room...

"W..W-Well, um!! I-I can...c...certainly see why you said that, now!! Y-Yes, I will be s...sure t-to um!! Open it later i-in my room! F-For my eyes only!! Ahem!!" Before any more steam can rise out of his head, he's pulling Ayumi into a tight hug before she can dare tease him on how accurate she was!

"Th-That being said, th-thank you for such wonderful gifts, Ayumi!! I'm really happy I can have a bestie as wonderful as you!! Even if you love obliterating me like thisss!!!" Mostly said as a joke, and despite how red his face is, a bright smile does light up on his face! "You really did make today even better than ever...! Now come, I want to enjoy it even more with you! Let's pop into one of our favorite restaurants or cafes together...!"

"Alright, Kaede: ready to enjoy some Christmas Cake together?" He giggles, opening up the bag that contained the strawberry shortcake. When the two were hanging out earlier in the shopping district, they were actually lucky enough to grab the last Christmas Cake in stock that was being sold by a local popular bakery. Shuichi was worried if they would've had trouble finding one to buy, with how fast they especially sell out on this night; so he was really happy he could buy them one to share together....

Once they were done for the night, he brought her to his house, where they'll eat the cake together on his bedroom table. He even made cups of tea for them to only warm up from the cold, but to also pair it nicely with the cake. "I'll cut you a slice, first." With the knife, he carefully cuts her a slice, placing it on her plate for her. "There you go..." And then, he cuts himself one. "Alright: let's eat...!" With that, he eagerly takes a bite out his slice, humming in delight. "Ohh, so good....yeah, we got really lucky to grab that last one, huh, Kaede?" He laughs, having another bite before taking a sip of his tea.

Once the two eventually either finished the cake together or got full, now it was time for the part he's been waiting for: giving Kaede her gifts. "I'll go put our dishes away; one moment... " He tells her, before collecting their plates and taking them into the kitchen and into the sink. Then, he goes and grabs the gift bag he secretly hid in another room, hiding it behind his arms as he returns to his room. "Back! And I have something for you...h-here!"

Shuichi holds out the gift bag to here. "A couple of presents I bought for you.... I-I hope that you'll love them...!" When Kaede looks into the gift bag, she will first see a white Rilakkuma plushie inside, a pink present bow wrapped around it. It was even wearing a hairbow on one if its ears, which had a pattern of music notes on it, that Shuichi actually put, himself. "The music note bow doesn't naturally come with it... I put it on there, myself. To give it that little musical touch... ! H-Hehe... "

And also in the gift bag was a small wrapped gift, in pink music note patterned wrapping paper with a red bow. Once unwrapped, it was contain a small jewelry box, and in that: a ruby heart necklace. "I-I ah... went into a jewelry store and saw this. And I thought, maybe you'd like it... ! Since it's very pretty, I think... I-I'll help you put it on!" And if she would like his help, then Shuichi'll proceed to go behind her and help place it around her neck. "Ahhh... " A soft gasp in awe leaves him when seeing how she looked in it. Beautiful, just like he knew she would. Cheeks heating up, he softly mutters: "It looks so pretty on you, Kaede... here, so you can see yourself, too." He takes out his phone, facing it so that when it goes into front-facing mode, it will show Kaede's face to her, so that she can see how she looks in the necklace as well.

"You think so, too, right... ? Now I'm really glad I got it for you, h-hehehe... " Once she was done looking at herself, Shuichi puts his phone away. "S-So yeah, um... I hope they were nice surprises for you, Kaede. I really wanted to make today, well: even better for you, after all... ! Just like how did for me, by spending time with me today. Thank you... and Merry Christmas." At first he hesitates out of shyness... but then goes to softly hold on of her hands in his, giving it a soft squeeze. Despite his gradually heated cheeks: the smile and gaze he gives her, is very warm... "I'm very happy I could spend it today with you... " ( a biiit lengthy, I hope that's fine, hehe, and Merry Christmas~! 🎄❤ )

Happy birthday Kokichi Ouma! You mean so much to me you have no idea!

I decided to cosplay my Soulmate Au Kokichi! I really wanted to cosplay him well (I left the Soulmark off unfortunately, it took forever to get this sorted and even then I had to take it off as the hot weather is terrible for wigs 😭). Also, the last picture is for one person (you know who you are)

Some of you may have noticed that his shirt is blue and not purple... Well I have the perfect way to explain this 😂 (Thanks @karakvs for the help on this)

This morning for her birthday, Shuichi wanted to take Kaede out to a cafe; one that he's actually been wanting to bring her to for a while now, so he thought today would be the perfect opportunity. "How are you enjoying the cafe so far, Akamatsu-san? Well, I hope! I'm so happy I could finally bring you here." It was on a quieter street compared to most, along with a nice view of outside from the windows. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the selections that they have that he's tried so far; he loves them. He hopes the order she got that he treated her to, was one she did enjoy. And that that she's having an overall enjoyable time with him here; he certainly was, chatting and eating together with her.

"And then after this, we can look around the shopping district.. see if there's any stores you may want to pop into. Wherever you'd like to go, let's do it." He smiles, truly wanting to make sure this entire day was going to be nothing but fun and wonderful for Kaede. "Ah, I know it might be a bit early, but.. would you like to see your gifts right now? I have them right here-!" He pulls out two gift boxes from his bag. The first one contained a pair of white earphones, with a design of a pink music note on the back of them. "I ah, had remembered you mentioning a while ago that you've been wanting some new headphones... s-so I got these for you! I hear that is brand is a very nice quality, so they should be great. I hope you'll like them!"

And then in the other gift box... was a silver necklace, which contained a pressed cherry blossom flower inside of the pendant. He shyly watches her examine it with nervous anticipation, since he actually made the necklace, himself... "Wh... What do you think? I-I... made it for you. I wanted to make you something special for a gift, too... h-hehe... um, I can help put it on you!"

Rising up from his seat, Shuichi goes over to hers, so that he can go behind her and place the necklace carefully around her neck. Then, he lets her see herself in his phone camera, so that she can see how it looks on her, too. "What do you think? It looks nice on you... I-I hope that you think the same." Cheeks a light red as he sits back down at his seat, he truly does think it looks pretty on her... and if she loves it, then that would make the effort pay off all the more. "Happy Birthday... I hope I was able to make your morning with these. And I'll make sure that... you continue having nothing but a great day. As you deserve... " He assures her, smile and gaze growing warmer. (sORRY it got a bit long, I hope u don't mind it, hehehe... Happy Birthday to your wonderful daughter!! 🎧🌸)

     Being invited out this morning was a bit of a surprise, but a welcomed one. Shuichi seemed like he really wanted to do so, and it wasn't like she was one to say no to an invitation. Though considering what the date was, Kaede wouldn't be surprised if that had something to do with this.

     "Oh, it's great!" Truly, it is. She can see why Shuichi would like it; the atmosphere, the view outside, the location, the selection they offer... it really was a nice place. She's glad that he's able to take her here, considering how happy he seems to be. "It's a great place, so I'm glad you were able to bring me here. So thanks for that, Saihara-kun!" And it's been good to be able to just chat and have a good time with him.

     Kaede can't help but return his smile. "Ah, okay. I'm sure there's some shop that'll catch my eye... and if not, it'll still be nice to walk around and spend time with you. We'll just see what happens, won't we?" She blinks a bit at the mention of gifts, but she nods in confirmation. Even if it is early, she's still glad that he decided to get her something, even if he really didn't have to. Just bring her out was enough.

     Still, she accepts both boxes with smile and opens the first one. Inside are a pair of white headphones, and picking them up to look at them reveals a design of a pink music note on the back of them. She's a bit surprised that Shuichi remembered her mentioning that before, but that's just like him. "I didn't expect you to remember that from then... but I'm glad. And I'm sure they'll be great so thank you Saihara-kun!"

     She moves to open the other box, which contained a silver necklace with what looked to be a pressed cherry blossom inside the pendent. For a moment Kaede is stunned, examining it and running her fingers along it. It's... really not something she was expecting so she's at a bit of a loss for words. Still it's... really beautiful she has to say. She looks over at Shuichi for an explanation and well. That's not what she was expecting in the slightest! For him to make her something so special... it makes her feel overjoyed.

     Kaede watches at Shuichi rises from his seat to go over to hers, placing the necklace carefully around her neck. She looks at herself in his phone camera and well... it really is nice on her. Even moreso considering that he made this specially for her...

     "It's really pretty... and I have to agree with you, it does look really nice on me." She's pretty sure her face matches his own, considering the heat she feels on them, but she's glad. She really does love it, and she's glad that Shuichi took the time to make it for her, considering how they're both acting right now. "Thank you, Saihara-kun. You really have made my morning with these and I'm sure the rest of the day will be as good as it is now." And she can't help but return the smile yet again, her own gaze warm and grateful.

And the moment Denki will have to catch his breath, Shuichi's pressing a big kiss to his lips, and nuzzles their foreheads together. Smiling so brightly and warmly at him all the while.. "W-Well now, hehe.. that was certainly the best greeting I could get from you, today. You're so cute... I love you, Denki! I'm so happy I get to spend today with you...!"

Kokichi threw his arms out to the side, cake presented on the table in front of him, candles and all. "It's my favorite international holiday!" He bounded around the table, then, immediately throwing himself at Shuichi, arms encircling his neck and a dozen kisses pressed across his face. "Happy birthday, beloved. I'm gonna make sure it's even better than last year!" ( THE MOST SPECIAL DAY EVER!! )

"E-Ehehe, your favorite international holiday, huh? You're too sweet. And what a wonderful looking cake, thank you! I can't wait to have some with you!" Then Shuichi instantly wraps his arms around Kokichi's waist to hold him up when he threw himself at Shuichi, laughing happily at the barrage of kisses given to his face.

"Ahaha, thank you, thank you! I just know you will, Kokichi. You always make every birthday feel like the best one I've ever had."

He does a small spin while still holding him, and while returning all the kisses Kokichi planted onto him, he says in between them: "Though all it really takes is just having you by me, Kokichi... to accomplish just that. I love you so much... I really am the luckiest guy, ever, to have you. I'm so excited to celebrate today with you! And I hope you don't mind if I'm a little greedy because, well... I want all your attention on me, today... is that okay? H-Hehehe..." Giggling, he plants one big kiss to his lips and goes to sit down, plopping Kokichi onto his lap. Then, he buries his face into his shoulder, letting out the happiest sigh. "Because... having my beloved all to myself, especially today, makes me so happy..."

"For those who do not have a good mother in their life, if not one at all: then let me be the one to say I am proud of you, and even if I may not personally know some of you, that I'm by your side and wishing nothing but a good life for you all. And also thank you to everyone who has been nothing but good to my nephew. That boy has broke out of his shell so much, thanks to you all! It's why I'm always so proud of him..." She says, hugging him tightly. She's even wearing the cute Rilakkuma apron and cherry blossom scrunchie he gifted her. "I love my gifts, Shuichi....thank you so much again....I love you."

"But yes, if you ever need a mother to come to, then I'm your new mom! Come to Mama-Auntie Yuki's bakery whenever you need anything, especially any lovely friends of Shuichi's. Hehehe..."

"A...Auntie, please. E-Ehehe..." He's hugging her back, smile growing slightly shy at her words, but still so bright. He truly does blessed to have such a kind and caring aunt. Who always did feel like a mother to him.. "I-I'm very happy you love your gifts...! I love you, too..."

It had been a long day and Kokichi was curled up on the sofa next to Shuichi, blanket across them and his legs pulled up beside him. The movie on the television long forgotten, he rested his cheek against Shuichi's shoulder and smiled up at him. "Is it weird that I'm pretty sure I like the 'boring' stuff like this with you even more than anything else?" It was a massive compliment on Kokichi's part—Shuichi's presence made him savor the calm and quiet moments.

But then Kokichi was scooting back some, sliding out from under the blanket and throwing Shuichi a wink before trotting out of the room. He grabbed a carefully wrapped present from his (wholly unnecessary) hiding spot, returning with it held over his head victoriously. "Good boyfriends are owed even better gifts!" He passed it off to Shuichi with an eager grin, slipping back under the blanket and beside Shuichi.

Inside the present was a handmade giftbox, complete with a few different types of both teas and coffees, a marbled black and gold mug, a small roll of homemade cookies, and a beanie. The beanie appeared normal—if high quality—until fully unfolded. Then it became clear that something was written on the inside edge, out of view when worn and left as a sort of inside joke: "Property of Kokichi Oma."

Kokichi was snickering once it was discovered, of course.

Relaxing for the rest of the night with Kokichi was always something Shuichi loved, but with the especially fun day that they had, it felt all the more enjoyable. He savored the warmth of his boyfriend and the couch, as he has his arms wrapped around Kokichi, hugging him close while he rested the side of his head against Kokichi's. "Oh..?" That brought a smile to his face, a very happy one; to hear that from the boy who usually is fast-paced and restless, truly did feel like one of the biggest compliments he could receive, and the one thing he wanted to do for Kokichi, succeed: making him enjoy even these quieter and calmer moments like this, with him. "That makes me very happy to hear, Kokichi: it's not weird at all. I love these kind of moments with you, so knowing you do as well, is the best thing I could hear."

When Kokichi slid off of the couch, he was going to playfully whine and tell him to get back here, but that wink and seeing Kokichi grab something out of a hidden spot, made him tilt his head curiously. Then when he saw he had a present for him, his eyes lit up in excitement. "Oh...!! H-Hehehe, you're too sweet, thank you! I'm so excited to open it!!" He pecked Kokichi's cheek when he got comfy back on the couch, eagerly accepting the gift box. "The gift box and wrapping looks so pretty, too... " He hums, carefully unwrapping it with increasing excitement. "....!!!!" A quiet gasp leaves him when he sees all the things inside. From the mug to the coffee and tea packets and to the cookies... "O-Oh my god. Kokichi, I- I love all of this. So many lovely gifts I see!!"

He first holds the mug up, carefully circling it around in his hand. "This mug looks so beautiful.... !!! I hope you know the very first thing I will drink out of this, will be the coffees and twas you gave me. That'll make me savor them even more." Then he picks up the cookies, beaming. "And you even made one of my favorite kinds of cookies, too! You spoil me so well." Of course, he was going to try one right now, unwrapping the bag they're in before plopping one into his mouth, and humming in delight. "These are so good. You may have to stop me from scarfing them all down immediately." He jokes with a laugh, before eating another one. "Just kidding. I want to enjoy them with you."

As for the beanie, Shuichi intentionally saved that for last, since he had a feeling that was the most special gift of all. Carefully, he holds it up to get a good look at it. "Oh this feels and looks lovely. I just know it's going to keep my head nice and warm! ...-!" He flipped the inside of the beanie while he was talking, trailing off in surprise when he saw that tiny note. "Oh? What's this I won-" Then he read what it said. "....der. Kokichi." A smile grows on his face, before he begins bursting out laughing. "G-God, what is this!! Y-You are so stupid! P-Putting something crazy like this, a-ahaha!"

And playfully bumps against Kokichi. Of course, the was he said it was fond, and loving, laughing even more when Kokichi started snickering. Only he could make Shuichi laugh like this, over the most ridiculous things like this. Of course, in absolutely a good way. "Though.... I meaaannn..... " He darts his eyes away... before they slowly look back at him. "It's not exactly wrong. Since, well.... I'm yours... Always..."

His makes his own cheeks heat up as he says that with a soft giggle. Flipping it back over, he then puts the beanie on himself. "...So? How's it look on me. Heheh." Shuichi would then place each gift on the table... So that he can pull Kokichi into a big, tight hug. "You are... The absolute best. The best boyfriend ever. I love you so much." Then, he'd begin placing a multitude of kisses on Kokichi's cheeks, before placing a slow, deep one to lips. Eyes pour with warmth and love, whispering once he breaks the kiss: "Thank you... for such wonderful gifts, Kokichi. You turned a day that was already so fun and wonderful, because of you; into an even greater and happier one. It always makes me wonder how in the world did I get so lucky in life, to be the one that can date you, huh? You're my greatest gift of all: I promise, to take extra great care of everything you gave me. Thank you.... thank you so much for lighting up my night. Just like you do my life... "
