Poor guy. The thought of that even crossing his mind makes him reel.

He's the Prince of Lucis, and while that helps in terms of security it still makes him very anxious. People who may not have the highest regards for him could go after you to get at him, which scares and angers him.

However, if someone or something made a threat against you for any reason, he's going to be pissed.

Majority of the time, he's going to get the Crownsguard on that person's ass for it. They're not getting out of this easily and Noct is not afraid to use his position.

Though he's not opposed to throwing hands himself, but you didn't hear it from me.

Protectiveness levels: Very High

Prompto

Let's get this out of the way first, if someone put you in a dangerous situation, he's abandoning what he's doing and probably his regard for his own safety to help you.

He's panicking, unlike Noct who's the prince and could easily get the help he needed instantly, Prompto would have to find it. Likely will drag in the guys (who will help him in return).

Compared to Noct, he doesn't have much of a reason to be extra protective since he's not royalty or born of a line of nobles like Gladio or Ignis.

He's less on trying to get any revenge on the person who did it, but more focused on how you're doing.

So, unless that person did something so damning, he's not going to tear them to pieces. Probably.

Protectiveness levels: Medium to Low

Ignis

Silently fuming and trying so hard to maintain his composure to not find them. And no, he's not going to kill them. Unless on the very rare circumstances he loses it, he won't.

Yes, he will try his best to remain calm and take the situation with caution, though part of him says otherwise.

Since he was Noct's caretaker when he was younger and swore to protect him, he had the experience of receiving threats like that. While that got personal sometimes, when it happens to you it's a whole different feeling he's not accustomed to.

Similar to Prompto, he's immediately tending to you first. Reassuring you (and himself) that you're okay and safe. But unlike Prompto he will definitely get people involved to bring that person to justice.

It's better for him and everyone in the end, just to preserve his sanity and integrity. Though he won't be opposed to be involved in some "personal" investigations.

Protectiveness levels: High

Gladio

Really hope whoever did threaten you knows how to defend themselves.

You know how Prompto mentions in Episode Gladiolus how he saved Noct from a bully one time and beat them up? Yeah, he's gonna rip them to pieces.

Not only is he serious when it involves being Noct's shield, but yours as well. Whoever dared to threaten you is not coming out without a black eye or some other injury because holy shit, he's furious.

You'd have to plead with him not to accidentally kill them or hope the guys are there to hold him back from going any further. Only then, thanks gods, he might back off.

He'd still be very upset afterwards and the harsh words from Cor will not help. But eventually with your presence, he'll cool off and apologize to you for seeing him like that.

Protectiveness levels: Very High

I feel like everything's been said and done, so I don't think I'm gonna continue the story. BUT here's a short little one-shot to feed your desires.

Kind of part 1

Synopsis: Hoshina tries to teach you kendo but things don't go as expected. Or actually, it goes exactly as expected.

Despite the tournaments being over, you and Hoshina kept the unspoken promise of staying late after school to practice. Though, "practices" are now filled more with talking than the cracks of swords or the twang of bowstrings—but that's between the two of you. Somehow, the talking then turned into Hoshina making you try kendo.

You don't know if you agreed because you were bored or because Hoshina brainwashed you enough into thinking kendo was kind of cool. Or maybe it was because of the sparkle in his eyes and the nervousness in his voice when he earnestly asked you that you couldn't refuse...

No.

It was definitely the brainwashing.

So, for the last couple of days, Hoshina taught you the more fun aspects of Kendo. The swinging of the sword, how to parry, he spoke so excitedly when teaching you.

However, somewhere along the lines, he started to move closer to you. Wrapping his arms around yours to help you hold your sword, whispering instructions into your ears, holding your hips to stop them from moving too much. You didn't know if he was doing it on purpose or not. But he seemed oblivious to the way you would cup your ear or grip your sword harder when he turned away.

Before you acted like you'd rather die than ever learn kendo. So Hoshina was excited to see you actually put effort into his teachings. Blinded by your progress, he tries to put kendo armour on you.

"Now don't get too excited, I'm not putting all of that on." You say, drawing the line at putting on the gross and probably sweaty armour.

Hoshina raises his eyebrows in surprise. "Huh? I thought ya were startin' to like it?"

"I don't particularly like it or dislike it."

"Then why are ya putting up with the lessons then?"

"No reason at all." You respond too quickly, cheeks puffing out in embarassment feigned annoyance.

Seeing how you refuse to look into his eyes and how your body seems to be closing in on itself, hoshina eyes widen at the realization. A small smile grows on his face as he approaches you.

"Oh? Is there something else ya like about these lessons?" He asks as he comes to stand face to face with you. Before you can say anything, he moves to stand behind you, his hands on your hips as he towers over you from behind.

"Maybe you're putting up with the sport you oh so despise because ya like how I touch you." He drawls out, the lightness in his voice replaced with something much deeper and intimate.

He leans his head down over your shoulder, slowly bringing one of his hands up to tuck your hair behind your ear. Lips ghosting over the shell of your ear, you let out a shaky breath.

"Or is it because of this?" He whispers, and the puffs of air tickle your ear.

He holds back a chuckle as he feels you sway a little—becoming almost putty in his hands. Your hands that were holding the wooden sword in position are now lowered with the tip of the sword touching the ground. The strength and haughtiness you usually exude is no longer to be found.

"I should've known." He reaches forward, his hands slowly snaking down your arms, his front pressing against your back. Wrapping his arms you, every inch of your body felt like it was being encompassed by his. He was overloading all your senses.

The wake of his touches leaves goosebumps on your skin. The subtle smell of his cologne invades your lungs. You try with all your strength to keep your eyes open and forward as his entirety envelops you.

But the moment you falter and begin to lean in, he takes the sword out of your hands. "You'd never want to learn such an ungraceful sport." He chuckles slyly, walking away from you towards the sword stand.

Red from head to toe, you sputter "I-I don't mind," as your hands feel especially empty now.

"Now, now, don't worry y/n," he lilts. "We can still have fun without the swords." His eyes hold a dangerous but hypnotizing shine. "Why, the fun's just getting started."

as you can see seb takes me the longest LMAOO hes such a menace for me to draw still...and i dont even think seeing my process helps since its just so much trial and error and warping until it looks right BAHAHA (this is from like a month ago and i ALREADY think seb looks off here too 💀) but my process is super simple, i just colour and cell shade on multiply and then i add a grain texture on soft light 10% at the end. i dont rly do anything fancy for colouring, bc i used to over-render my art and make it really complicated, but now im a fan of just having it look kinda...flat? if that makes sense LOL. i like it aesthetically AND its also easier. OH also something i add to the end of almost all my pieces is this auto-action from clip studio assets which basically adjusts the hue/saturation/brightness. here's an example of what the original flat colours look like vs. when i add this filter:

even if you dont have clip studio the same effect could be achieved with just manually tweaking with the hue/saturation levels afterwards, but i like this filter just cuz its easy and makes the colours more how i like them HOPE THIS HELPS💖💖

"Does this taste okay?"

Anton looks up from the bowl of ice cream he was holding to see you stretching a spoon of chocolate sauce towards him.

"It tastes kinda weird," you mumble, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "But it's not expired yet."

Anton licks the sauce off the spoon, concentrating on its flavor.

"Okay, that's definitely weird." he agrees, wincing as he's met with a gross combination of sour and sweet. "We are not going to eat that."

Laughing at your boyfriend's reaction, you turn away to toss the bottle into the bin.

"Here, eat some ice cream." Anton suggests, getting a spoonful for you. "It takes the taste right out."

You hum happily around the spoon at the taste of the sweet icy treat, excited to eat more during your movie night later.

"I'm so glad we got vanilla flavor," you sighed. "It's so go-"

And all of a sudden, Anton's lips are on yours, cutting you off.

His warm tongue moves and licks against your cold lips, sending goosebumps all over your body at the sensation.

"Y-You had ice cream on your lips." Anton mumbles when he pulls away, face burning red.

You're blushing too, but you laugh, finding it adorable.

"Maybe just say you wanna kiss me next time, hm?" you tease, wrapping your arms around Anton's neck.

The ice cream is long forgotten when the both of you lock lips again, Anton's arms tight around your waist as he slowly backs you against the kitchen counter.

"You look so pretty today," he sighs, brushing your hair aside and leaning down to kiss your neck.

It blows your mind at how when you first met Anton, he had been a blushing stumbling mess. Always avoiding your eye contact, stuttering endlessly, and always turning crimson red at any form of physical contact.

But now here you were, eyelids fluttering shut in pleasure while his teeth grazes softly against your neck. He doesn't stop even while leading you to the sofa, letting out a soft grunt when you straddle him.

Now, with the both of you heading into the eighth month of your relationship, you've achieved your fair share of milestones.

Starting off with the basics like holding hands and cuddling, you were now at the stage of hot and heavy makeouts, but nothing past that.

And since neither of you had any experience, both of you agreed to take things slow.

"When we're both ready," Anton had said back then to you, lips prettily swollen and panting from your first makeout session.

You wonder where he stands on the matter now, when something snaps you out of your thoughts.

Anton had stopped his actions, his flushed and shy face buried in your chest instead. "W-What's wrong?" you ask, dazed and confused as you run your hands through his hair.

He doesn't say anything, merely shifting around a bit to let you feel it.

You gulp when you do, eyes widening at your boyfriend.

"Is that- Are you...?" you mumbled, flustered.

He burns in embarrassment as he nods, nervously biting his bottom lip. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for it to... do that, you just look so pretty today and you sounded so-"

It's your turn to cut him off for tonight, kissing him strongly on the lips.

"Don't apologize, it happens." you whisper.

"And... I can help you out if you want?" you offer, looking at him warily.

Anton's eyes widen at your question, and he manages to muster a small "Y-Yeah, please.", desperation heavy in his tone.

He's barely gotten the words out of his lips when you kiss him again, hips experimentally moving against his.

The curly haired boy lets out a loud whine at this, head falling back on the sofa, and you've gotten your green light.

Airy whimpers and moans slowly fill your living room as you continue, the pleasurable friction making Anton's head spin while you kiss each other messily and noisily.

Adrenaline courses through you while his hands feel you up, newfound pleasure burning like fire at wherever his fingertips touched.

"F-Feels so good," Anton pants, hiding his face in the crook of your neck.

He starts leaving hickeys again, the sharpness of his teeth and warmth of his tongue adding on to the pleasure. "Don't stop, please." he whines.

And so, you don't.

The movie becomes the last thing on your minds as you spend the rest of the night just like that; lips connected, hands exploring each other, repeated confessions of love, and hearts racing - closer than ever.

(ie. if someone were to be a fly on the wall during trainings, what would they see? (the Chase scene with our squad had me SCREAMING 😳))

Blade: Blade basically hand-picked his squad to create clones of himself, so he essentially has a death-squad of elite assassins who have a similar personality to him, whether due to nature or his training LOL. He's naturally pretty strict and has those rigid Ket standards of what's acceptable behavior and what's not, but because they were already so terrified of him and so intimidated and honored to have been picked by Day 1, his squad was so eager to gain his approval that they've never really had any true issues, lol. You hardly ever see him interacting with them, but he could turn his head and speak a quiet word and one of them would materialize out of thin air like a royal guard shadowing his king, lmao! The other recruits are scared of them 😭

Trouble: he's in turns quite strict with his squad and also quite friendly and jocular with them! He's just as prone to be found drinking with them as he is scaring them witless by bawling orders at them like an army commando and forcing them to sprint through mud obstacles while he's pelting them with rubber bullets. He has a surprisingly soldierly demeanor when it comes to training and field discipline, which I find hypocritical, given what a pain he is about authority and taking orders from other people and his general rebellious spirit... 😒 strangely, this hot-and-cold demeanor does not prevent his squad from being obsessed with him, lol

Tallys: Tallys has the kind of presence where she never acts any differently, no matter what situation she's in, which really makes people pay attention to her! It's kind of like those people who say something in such calm, even tones that you find yourself really leaning forward to hear them and find yourself intent and hanging on every word they say? She hardly ever raises her voice or shouts at her squad, but she doesn't really have to... her coolness makes them crave her approval so much that it's kind of a "yes mommy 🥺" energy with them lol, she only needs to communicate what she wants with a glance and they're running to do it!

Shery: she doesn't really have her own squad, she has a team of staffers who work under her! They mostly get along great, though sometimes some of them can accidentally take advantage of Shery when they're being thoughtless--it's not really malicious or on purpose, it's just that they don't really hesitate to ask her for a longer break or a day off, and sometimes that workload ends up falling on her! But overall things between them all run fairly smoothly, especially because she has other people (including Caine) who keep an eye out for that!

Riel: Riel also doesn't have his own 'squad,' per se, but a team of staffers... he basically just treats them like they're the hired help lol, he knows their names and whatnot, but he's basically the extremely busy CEO and they're just like the administrative assistants scampering after him as he strides into the office and starts rapping out orders lol!

Beyond the necessities of work, he hardly acknowledges or exchanges a word with them, but they learn so much just from watching him maneuver and think and politick lol, so they're very grateful to just be in his proximity!

Chase: Chase is extremely slack with his recruits... He teaches them the skills they need to know, and they're quite good at what they do, but the team discipline on that squad is like a 0, lol. He's done a lot of his own "teaching" and leading in Thieves Guild, taking younger or more inexperienced thieves under his wing to show them the ropes, so he's sort of not into doing the whole thing all over again, lol. To be completely honest, he basically lets his squad do whatever they want and only interacts with them during mandatory training and missions. Like a really chill TA or substitute teacher who shows up because they have to but lets you watch a movie or go hang out in the hall or something, go nuts kids, he's not really the boss of you!! As a result, his squad adores him, but they're also really chaotic partiers lol. Once in a blue moon they'll try to wrangle him like "CAPTAIN!! You promised you would be here to train us at dawn, why are you two hours late?!" "sorry guys, I got lost on the road of life~~"

Red: I feel like his entire squad is hopelessly in love with him, lol. He basically teaches them like they're his interns or teacher assistants and he's a professor; he's fairly mild-mannered and hands-off, but they do learn a lot from him and respect him immensely (to the point of practically hanging on his every word). Having his own squad is extremely low-priority for him (he prefers deploying on his own missions and focusing on his research, plus he still teaches some classes at the Circle now and then), so he often lumps them in with his classes or is on hand to advise them as they run their own missions, but he's more of an advisor or "teacher who sponsors your extracurricular club" rather than being "club president," if that makes any sense?? Like you typically go to him for help, which he's always willing to provide, rather than he's the one really pushing for more time together!

Ayla: at first she hated the idea of having her own squad of dweeby little recruits, but now that she's used to it, she relishes having someone to boss around! She trains them like a drill sergeant, barking orders and subjecting them to Mr. Miyagi-style domestic chores with a sadistic kind of relish, but they're still extremely proficient at what they do. They're also terrified of her. She does abuse her power slightly sometimes by like making them pull the weeds outside her window, but it's typically as punishment for some legitimate misdeed... typically.

Briony: her squad didn't initially take her very seriously because she came off as a bit nervous and burbly and not really an authoritative figure, and her amnesia puts her at a real disadvantage, so initially they would be like, "oh the high lord of Lancastre is in town today, I wonder if there will be trouble" Briony: "who is that :D"

So for a little while, her squad were sort of bewildered by her, and it started to become a dynamic where they were on the surface nice but somewhat condescending, like, "hey guys, could you go do so-and-so?" "...sure captain 😏 we'll get right on that!" They'd eventually do it, but they'd take their damn time, which is something Ayla, Trouble, or Blade would never tolerate, but Briony would pretend not to notice!

But then they saw her pulverize a tree with her fist for the first time (._.), and now they're very meek and obedient! Nowadays they get along well, and she treats them warmly like they're all friends, and they're pretty tight-knit, though Briony still has some trouble outright ordering them to do things rather than requesting it nicely like they're equals/comrades-in-arms... she's not fully comfortable with having command over anyone yet!

Lavinet: Lavinet, as a late-comer, actually got to pick her own squad rather than being assigned one, so she was able to avoid the inevitable resentment and defiance of a random team who probably would have doubted her skills due to her being a noble and thought she was some kind of nepo baby who bought her way in! The people she ended up picking tended to be people who appreciated and understood who she was and wanted to work with her. As a result, she's quite polite and amiable with them and doesn't have to get strict, though she secretly longs for the ability to just let loose one day and start barking orders like one of the others... That wouldn't be seemly, though! Even as an instructor and a captain, she still has to maintain her courtly composure and just delivers her orders in a calm tone (which sounds more icy and deadly when she's displeased).

Halek: squad? what squad? He already had the Black Shield Hunters, the elders, and Naolin dogging him around everywhere, now he has to babysit some snotty recruits? he can't even teach them anything, he basically just joined! 😩 he spends a lot of time dodging them and hiding places to nap, but either they or someone like Blade or Tallys go and drag him back by the ear. Eventually he had to be like, "...you really want me to train you?" "yes!" "the way I was trained to hunt demons?" "YES!" "...okay... if that's really want you want..."

*cue the most grueling, back-breaking military regiment you've ever seen* The White Order doesn't play around with how it trains its younglings, so he just applies the same techniques to his squad! If he has to be awake and suffering, so do you :') He doesn't yell at them or anything, you just look into the slight malice in his courteous smile as he asks you to get on your knees and crawl into a mysterious hole and you suddenly feel a deep, existential terror...

f1wags After a brief hiatus from social media, y/n makes a cameo on her friend's IG Live today! In today's live, she spilled the beans on some questions about her christmas holiday in Australia and the short getaway in Japan with Oscar. She couldn't help but gush about the incredible experience—her first time in Australia. Oscar played the perfect tour guide, showing her around his hometown and introducing her to his family. He also told us about their short getaway in Japan. Y/N explained that they haven't seen each other for more than two weeks as Oscar is already back to work—busy with meetings, simulator sessions, and prepping for the upcoming F1 season at the McLaren Technology Centre, and she have to return to her work and projects too.

Medicine Pocket wasn’t the type for “love”. Or any other foolish emotions. They’ve always found romance to be such a stupid waste of time, taking away from more important things, like their research. More than once a scientist on their team would do something absent mindedly while thinking of their wife at home. Then they’d mess up, ruining Medi’s most important results. Those times were met with no sympathy, Medi ruthlessly tearing into her team members for their foolishness.

…However, you were kinda cute. And interesting. That’s what Medi liked about you most. You were strange, not like the other people they’ve met. They liked everything about you that was different. Your laugh, your personality, your interests. They found it fascinating the way you thought, the way you acted. Medi wanted to study you, and if that wasn’t love? They didn’t know what was. However, the two of you had been keeping things on the low. Medi didn’t want their reputation as a mad scientist to be tarnished, nor did they want to show any weakness in front of their fellow arcanists. Not to mention that you had a reputation of your own to uphold, and a lack of close friends on your team to blab to. The two of you kept quiet about your little arrangement, but that was fine. Neither of you felt the need to brag, and given how fast gossip spread around the suitcase, the two of you were happy to stay far from it. But oh, the foolishness of a person in love never fails.

Naps had always been one of your favorite ways to pass the time, and with how much training you were getting, a heavy layer of exhaustion hung over you like a blanket. No matter how hard you tried to fight it, you were always a few seconds from falling asleep. Lost within your own dreamy haze.

Today just happened to be especially tiring. You were helping out with some chores around the suitcase, preparing for the next mission, when you felt the strong siren call of another nap wash through you. You dragged yourself through the halls, your body too tired to stay upright for long. You needed a place to sleep, and quickly. You found your respite in the dining room, underneath the table. It was nowhere near meal time, so you were certain you’d be undisturbed for a while. Dropping to a crawl, you made your way underneath and placed your head on the wooden floor. It wasn’t comfortable, far from it, but it was enough for you to begin to drift off. Medi hadn’t been looking for you. At least, they didn’t think they were. They’d been wandering all day, avoiding chores like the plague and ignoring the urge to continue their studies. They’d been suffering through a major creative block with their experiments, which frustrated them to no end. They were a genius! Why couldn’t they get it together?

Medi found you underneath the table. At first they laughed at the sight, then a fond smile came to their face. And then, realization. “[Y/N]!” They called, kneeling down to your side. “You’re going to hurt your back if you sleep on the hard floor!” They warned, shaking you awake. 

Groggily, you turned to them, annoyed that your nap had been cut short. “Nuh-uh.” “The fuck do you mean ‘Nuh-uh’?!” They exclaimed, “Dumbass! You’re going to hurt yourself! What are you thinking?!” “Tired.” You answer. “So, so tired.” Medi bites their fingertip through the glove, narrowing their eyes at you. “I’ll have to take a blood test to make sure you’re healthy. Even for an idiot like you, this isn’t healthy.”

“You’re worried.” You state, a warm smile growing on your sleepy face. “Nuh-uh!” Medicine Pocket shoots back, turning their face away from you. You can see a blush on their cheeks.

“You know…” You begin, reaching for their hand, “I might sleep better if I have something to rest my head on.” Medicine Pocket’s face grows redder, a pout twisting their expression. “What are you getting at, dumbass? Spit it out!”

“Can I rest my head on your lap?” You ask, bluntly. 

Medi covers their face with their hand, still not daring to look at you. A smug smile grows on your lips, enjoying how much you’ve flustered your partner. You don’t expect them to agree, PDA isn’t something the both of you necessarily enjoy. It’s more a game of chicken, seeing who bends first. Medicine Pocket swallows, then nods. “Of course you can.”

Your eyes widen in surprise. “Oh, I wasn’t serious!” You argue, the thought of PDA making your face heat up. “Too late to back out now!” They giggle, scooching next to you. They take a seat right next to your head, patting their lap. “Come on, sweetheart, take a nap with me.”

The pet name, despite how mockingly it’s used, sends an arrow straight through your heart. Though you’re hesitant, the offer is appealing. Cuddling with Medi isn’t something you often get to do, and here they are, presenting you with the opportunity. And so you lift your head, and place it on their lap. They squeak instantly, the flush returning to their face all at once. “Hey! What if someone sees us?” “They won’t.” You mutter, already losing the battle to sleep. You yawn. Medicine Pocket is so warm, and feels so soft beneath your head. You could stay like this forever, you think. “Nobody will.”

“Are you sure?” Medicine Pocket asks, yet they get no answer. You’ve already fallen asleep, lost in your own dreams. Medicine Pocket sighs, putting a hand on your head and stroking your hair softly. You remind them of one of their dogs like this. All gentle and cute. They find themselves smiling uncontrollably, lost in the bliss of being close to you. About a half hour later, Vertin enters the dining room. “Medicine Pocket? [Y/N]?” She calls, glancing around the room. “Where did the two of you go?” She asks herself, a scowl deepening on her face. The two of you were skipping your responsibilities, and as leader, she had to get you both on track. Medi froze, eyes wide with fear. They couldn’t be caught in a situation like this! Especially by the Timekeeper! But they also couldn’t escape! Your sleeping face was just too cute, they didn’t want to disturb it!

And then you snored. It was a slight, quick breath, but Vertin is a very perceptive girl, and she heard it right away.

“[Y/N]?” Vertin asked, “Are you napping again? You’ve ought to get your tiredness checked out by a-” She leaned over to peer under the table, locking eyes with Medicine pocket. “Oh!” Vertin exclaimed, before her eyes fell upon you, slumbering away. “Oooh.” “It’s not what it looks like!” Medi objected, keeping their voice to a hush. “It’s just- I’m just! It’s an experiment! They’re a test subject to me!” A light danced in Vertin's eyes as she saw you two, though her face bore no changed expression. “It’s alright. Your secret is safe with me.” She gave a curt nod, and stood. “Vertin- Wait!” Medicine called behind her, panic in their voice. “You’ve got it all wrong! No!” “You have nothing to worry about.” Vertin reassured them. “I wish you two love and prosperity.”

“Vertin?!”

Though Vertin did not breathe a word to a single soul, the suitcase was alight a week later with rumors of the new couple among their numbers. And though your days of being a quiet couple were over, at least Medi didn’t feel so embarrassed to be seen sleeping next to you anymore.

Her Peace

Dikke had never been a fan of romance in plays.

The way bards would speak on and on about the sweetness of love, of the bliss of another’s touch, of the pangs in one’s heart, it didn’t seem possible to her. How could love be so powerful? She’d felt romance before, towards some fellow knights, though her feelings never clouded her judgment. She always managed to keep a clear mind, and was able to keep her thoughts rational. The stuff the bards spoke of was hyperbole. …You muddied that belief. Dikke was unbelievably weak for you. It scared her, in all honesty. She’d never been so vulnerable around someone before. Your smile made her sway, your laugh made her weak in the knees. She found herself thinking of you late into the night, unable to close her eyes without seeing your face. The walls she’d spent so many years building, crashed around her. Destroyed by a single person. Nobody knew of this relationship of yours. It wasn’t as though it was secret, it just wasn’t something you discussed with other people. Dikke didn’t often speak on matters of the heart, and you never found a good excuse to bring it up. And thus, the suitcase was unaware of the budding relationship in their midsts. Dikke had been training for hours. It was what she did to clear her mind, to calm her anxieties. There was something comforting about doing repeated exercises. It kept both her and her blade sharp. However, it was also extraordinarily tiring. The hard labor strained her muscles, making each movement painful. Though she was careful to never overexert herself, she still remained sore after each intensive workout. This time was no different.

Dikke dragged herself through the forest, focusing on her deep breaths. Birds sang in the trees around her, the same songs they’d sung in her homeland. Bees buzzed by her, brushing gently against her as she walked, clumsily making their way through. The same way they did a hundred years ago. And before then as well. Dikke lost herself in thought as she walked, allowing the nostalgia to ease her weary bones. And then she saw you. Like something out of a fairytale. You were sprawled beneath a grand oak tree, your chest rising and falling in a gentle rhythm. Dikke was stunned by your beauty, completely beside herself at the sight of you. Was it OK for her to see you like this? So vulnerable and pretty? Her heartbeat quickened, it was so loud she was worried it would wake you. You looked so peaceful, it made her dizzy. The fact that you could sleep so soundly here, without a care in the world… She wanted that tranquility. That trust in the world. Dikke sat next to you in the plush grass, keeping her guard up. She couldn’t just leave you here! What if something happened? She’d never forgive herself! As quietly as she could, she removed her cape, draping it over you in a single movement. Dikke loved the view of you in her cape. Seeing it made it hard for her to think, her brain only filled with thoughts of you. Surely it was alright to indulge. Just this once? You wouldn’t mind the company, would you? Holding her breath, Dikke laid beside you, leaving a few inches of space between the two of you. She didn’t want to intrude, but she wanted some of that peace. Some of that tranquility you held.

It didn’t take long for her to fall asleep. The mix of the workout and your presence was too much on her weary mind. By the time Vertin found the two of you, you were entangled in each other’s arms. Your head on Dikke’s chest, and her face pressed into your hair. The sight surprised the timekeeper, though she knew better than to react. She didn’t want to risk waking you up.

Later, Vertin would seek you out. “I see you’ve found your knight in shining armor.” She tells you. Though it doesn’t reach her face, you can hear the smirk in her voice. “What do you mean by that?” You ask, confused. “I wish you and Dikke well. That’s all you need to know.” She responds. You grow too flustered to continue the conversation any further.

It's a beautiful Friday night at Malfoy Manor. The stars have come out to play, and your long-time boyfriend, Draco, has planned a romantic date for you out on the town. He can't wait to show you the dress he had designed and made, especially for you.

But as he walks up to your bedroom at his house to surprise you, he's instantly more concerned by the sniffles and coughs he hears behind the door. You weren't feeling well yesterday. You thought maybe it was a small bug, or maybe just something you ate, but when you woke up from your nap this afternoon, it was evident that it was something else.

"Darling?" Draco lightly knocks on your door before opening it a crack. "Are you alright?" His tone sounds worried as he sees you bundled up under the covers.

You cough and sniffle as you sit up, noticing the clothing bag in his arm. "I'm okay," you try to lie, but another cough deceives you as you lean forward, hoping it will help.

Draco sits on the edge of your bed, placing the back of his cool fingers on your burning forehead. "Oh, darling. You're burning up," his brows furrow slightly in concern. He knew you were lying when you said you felt fine. But as he holds his fingers to your forehead, it's confirmed for him. You are sick. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, Draco jumps at the chance to take care of you.

He knows he should probably feel guilty for liking the fact you're sick. And it's not that he ever wishes or wants you to get sick. He just loves taking care of you. He loves and admires how strong and independent you are, always helping him and your friends. So when he gets the chance for you to allow him to take care of you for once, he jumps on it.

"What's in the bag?" Your voice is hoarse from coughing and your sore throat.

Draco smiles and shakes his head as he hands you a glass of water from your nightstand. "Don't you worry your pretty little head about that," he chuckles and watches to make sure you take a few sips before you pass the water back to him. "You just get comfortable and I will be right back."

It's only when he stands up that you realize he's wearing one of his fancy dinner suits, a pang of guilt hitting low in your belly. "Did you want to go out tonight?" You sit up and lift the covers to get out of bed. "Let me just wash up and we can go, I just need a few minutes."

Draco swiftly blocks you from getting out of bed, tilting your chin up to look at him. "Ah, ah. I don't think so," he crouches in front of you so he is at eye level with you sitting on the bed. "Baby, you're sick. We can go out literally any other time. Just let me take care of you tonight. Okay?" His eyes are soft and caring with you as they are normally cold and hard with everyone else.

"But-"

"No buts," he smirks, lifts your legs back onto the bed, and pulls the covers over you again. "Now, I'm going to get you some tea and us something to eat. And when I get back, we are going to watch any movie you want."

You want to fight him on it, but honestly? Your body is relieved for the break, and you know how much he loves to take care of you when you let him. So you decide to simply let him pamper you tonight. "I love you."

"I love you too, my darling. I'll be right back," he presses a quick kiss to your forehead before he heads out of your bedroom.

When Draco comes back, he is in comfortable pajamas, carrying all of the things you could ever possibly need when sick, arranging them neatly on the night stand before he leaves again, coming back with hot tea, more water and your favorite soup.

You put on your favorite movie, take the medicine he gives you, and even letting him spoon it in your mouth. The rest of the night is relaxing and peaceful as you watch all of your favorite movies while you eat your soup, finishing it completely under Draco's soft praise and encouragement.

When Draco notices your eyelids drooping slightly as you fight to stay awake, he turns off the TV and grabs your favorite book, pulling you to his chest. When you told him earlier you didn't want him to get sick, too, he only laughed. "I'd burn down the world for you, my darling. And you think I'm afraid of getting sick? It's adorable, really."

Draco reads to you as he holds you close with an arm wrapped around your waist and his chin resting on the top of your head.

"Will you stay with me tonight?" You bring yourself to ask on the brink of sleep.

Draco kisses the top of your head, his lips brushing against your hair as he responds softly. "Always."

A/N: this was supposed to be posted halloween but work and school got in the way! So Happy Late Halloween 💖

Lewis was checking his notifications while he waited for you to get off of work when he saw your tweet that said "it's fine I didn't want a spooky basket anyway 😭." He closed out twitter and went to google to see what a boo basket was and began getting some ideas on what to do for you and decided to make you one for Halloween. He saw you walking out of your building and quickly locked his phone before climbing out of his car to come greet you. 

"Hey sweetheart, I missed you. How was work today?" He asked wrapping his arms around you and placing a kiss on your lips. 

"Hey baby, I missed you too and it was alright, my feet are killing me and I'm hungry." You said. 

"Well why don't we get you off your feet and go grab some takeout before we head home? And then after we eat, I'll give you a nice foot massage." He offered.

"That sounds nice. Hey do you think Saturday you could come with me while I grab the stuff I need for um Angelica's boo basket?" You asked him as he helped you into the car. 

"Of course, you know I love spending time with you while you run errands." He said placing a kiss on your lips. 

You guys headed to y'all's favorite takeout spot before heading home where you ate and were given the foot massage you were promised. 

While you were at work the next few days Lewis worked on your spooky basket that way he wouldn't risk you finding out about it because he truly wanted to surprise you on Halloween with it and the special halloween flowers he was having made for you. After he finished it up he went your best friends house to leave it there until Halloween which was in two days so you didn't accidentally find it. 

"She's gonna love this? And the flowers you are having made." Your best friend said as she looked at the basket. 

"You think so? I've never done anything like this before but I saw her tweet and wanted to surprise her with it and the flowers." He said nervously.

"She's gonna love it Lewis just for the fact that you took the time to make it for her." She said squeezing his hand. 

"Thank you again, I'll probably come get it Monday night if that's alright with you." He asked. 

"That's perfect with me, and if I'm not here Kyle knows where it is and can give it to you." She said as Lewis nodded his head before heading out.

Your friend smiled after Lewis left, because little did Lewis know is that you had made him a spooky basket weeks ago and had been hiding it with her so he wouldn't find it.

It was the day before Halloween well more so a few hours before it and you and Lewis were on the couch watching a horror movie together when the doorbell rang. You looked at him confused as he got up to answer it before coming back inside with a huge bouquet of flowers. 

"You got me flowers?" You asked him. 

"Not just any flowers but special Halloween ones, I hope you like them." He said handing you the bouquet. 

You took them and were shocked to see he had you custom flowers made that were decorated with ghostface and the wrapping paper said "let me murdered that pussy" which made you laugh. 

"Thank you so much baby, I love them and as for that quote you will be never be denied doing that." You said as you kissed him. 

"I'm glad you like them and good to know but this is part of your Halloween gift, do you want the other half now or do you want to wait until tomorrow?" He  asked you. 

"Would it be wrong to say I want it now because I'm curious to see what the other half is." You asked him. 

"Not at all. I'll be right back sweets." He said placing a kiss on your forehead before disappearing down the hall. 

A few minutes later he returns with a Halloween bucket in your hands and you look at him in shock because he didn't actually make you a spooky basket for you? Did he?? He handed you the basket and you wordless sat there looking through it which was making Lewis nervous. 

"I'm sorry if this isn't the best but I tried because I know how much you wanted one. I hope you like it, i worked really..."he started to say before you threw your arms around him. 

"Thank you...so much baby. You don't know how this means to me that you made this for me. I love it, the flowers and you so much." You said to him. 

"Your welcome sweetheart. You know I do anything for you especially to see you smiling like you are right now. I love you so much sweetheart." He said placing a kiss on your lips. 

"I love you Bubs. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go get your gift." You said leaving him confused as you disappeared down the hall. 

Lewis sat there confused until you returned with your own spooky basket in hand that you walked over and handed to him. 

"For you." You said as you took a seat next to him. 

"Awh sweetheart you shouldn't have." He said as he looked through his basket. 

"Of course I did. Your my man and you deserve a spooky basket as well." You said making him smile. 

"Well thank you sweetheart, I love it and you so much. Happy Halloween my love." He said placing a kiss on your lips. 

"Happy Halloween Bubs." You said smiling at him.

I've seen 8-BitRyan play it. I like the concept and the RUIN like style it seems to have.. though I'm not a huge fan of how the animatronics/characters look in game..

I'd like them to be bigger. And either clearly fully animatronic or fully living animal. They some how look kiiind'a somewhere in between..? <:0

XD There ARE humans in their world for sure. Though they don't have a trainer. It felt weird to kind'a.. insert myself into the world..? Or someone that was meant to take my place.. And I like that with the absence of a trainer, Gloria is the leader of the group and everyone looks to her for guidance. :)

They mostly just travel from place to place. Staying away from humans due to their recent attempts to catch Anastasia.. Sleeping in caves or abandoned structures.. looking for food and sparring with each other. Just living life :))

Totally an optional request, but could you do one where the reader is a bit reserved on her feelings with Vash, but once she hears people bashing him for being a menace or a crybaby the reader goes absolutely feral in defending him on how he’s done so much for people, and starts to realize how much they genuinely cares for him. And if Vash confronts them on it the reader gets so flustered to where they can’t even look them in the eye or just melts with how he is

‘Those hardest to love need it most’

Vash X Reader

You're going to blame the alcohol, or maybe you are just an idiot? Everything about today was fine, or normal well as normal as it can be when you are traveling with Vash the Stampede. You entered a small town, hoping to stay out of trouble easier for you than for Vash.

Vash wanted to come to this town and said he knew the sheriff here. You crossed your arms as you looked at him, “And you’ll stay out of trouble while we’re here, right?” Vash rubbed the back of his neck and let out a nervous laugh, “Oh come on! You know I try to! It’ll be a quick trip, honestly!” He clasps his hands together, giving you a pout with those big puppy dog eyes.

Who are you to resist? With a ‘tsk’ and an eye roll you let him drag you into town. 

It's barely been five minutes since you’ve entered the town when Vash gets roped in on helping the local sheriff, you offer to go with him but he just dismisses you and says he’ll find you later. You are about to argue when he gives you a gentle smile and a pat on the head. At that point the argument ties on your tongue, and before you can embarrass yourself you just agree and run off. 

Which leads you here sitting at the bar of the local saloon, enjoying a drink or two. You sigh, leaning your head down on the bar, being alone with your thoughts is never good. Lately your mind has been drifting off to warm and fuzzy feelings of Vash. You're scared to figure out what that all means, so you’re choosing to ignore it. 

You hear two men sit down at the bar; you glance at them before ordering another drink. You hold the drink in your hand, swirling it around as you start to zone out.

“Did you hear that Stampede guy is in town?” One of the men says it draws your attention, but you keep your face passive. “The Humanoid Typhoon? That guy is nothing but trouble.” answers the second. Your grip tightens on your drink, you hate that nickname it's so unfair when they call him that. They have no idea who the real Vash is, you know you should just let it go. Vash always wants to see the good in everyone. You, on the other hand, have a much harder time with that. 

“He's got a bounty too; 6 million double dollars. I say we go for it before he destroys the town.” You slam your drink down on the bar counter hard, startling the two men next you. With a glare you look at them, “If I were you two, I would stop talking.” 

So, you were a little protective over Vash, someone had to be. “A stranger like yourself shouldn't stick their nose in other towns' business.” You roll your eyes, “That man is a danger to us, brings nothing but unfortunate everywhere he goes.” 

Your heart aches for Vash, you stand suddenly grabbing the man closest to you by the collar of his shirt, “You have no idea what you're even talking about!” You snap, anger taking over. “Vash does everything in his power to protect people like you, scum that doesn't even deserve it. You’d be lucky to meet someone as incredible and amazing as he is.” You know that you certainly felt lucky to have met Vash.

Oh.

Oh.

You drop the man suddenly, eyes wide, taking a step back. Oh God you were an idiot, truly and deeply. Your heart rate picks up, how could you have been so blind? Clearly, the man didn't like being manhandled by you, because he lunges for you. But before he can reach you, you are suddenly pulled back, your back hitting a firm chest with a hand on your shoulder. 

“Whoa, now fellas let's take it easy!” Vash’s cheerful voice breaks the tension, you look up shocked to see Vash’s easy-going smile, but something is off about it. His jaw is set tightly and his hand trembles on his shoulder. Your face heats up, how long had he been standing there?

The man scoffs, “You should keep this one on a leash.” He points at you as you sneer at him, moving to take a step forward. You're stopped by Vash’s hand tightening on your shoulder, you glance at Vash, as he narrows his eyes. “Funny, I’ll keep that in mind.” 

You're about to snap something at Vash, but he swiftly begins manhandling you to throw you over his shoulder, you let out a shriek of protest at the movement. Gripping the back of his jacket like a lifeline, as he carries you out of the saloon

“Vash put me down!” You yell at him; your heart is beating way too fast and your face feels out. He does put you down, he does it so suddenly that you nearly lose your footing until he places his arms on your biceps to settle you. He doesn’t let go, but instead hangs his head. 

You are still angry, “You should have let me handle those guys, who do they think they are talking all that nonsense-” 

“Stop, please.” Vash interrupts you, his voice quiet and sad. “It doesn’t matter.” His voice breaks a bit, you can tell he's probably going to start crying. The anger melts away quickly after that, “Well it matters to me.” you admit softly, 

He looks up at you, tears forming in his bright blue eyes and your heart skips a beat. “Why? You don't need to defend me; I’ve heard it all before. Honestly.” He says this with a light laugh.

“Well, it doesn’t make it okay!” You snap, and he flinches back startled, dropping your arms but you don't let him get far as you grab him by his biceps taking a step closer. “You give so much to everyone you meet, your kind, you see the good in everyone even when they don't deserve and you give people hope, me included. So yeah, I'm going to defend you every time no matter what, Because I care about you!”

Vash’s eyes widen, and you feel like you’ve maybe overstepped, also did you have to throw in that part at the end? Your face heats up, and you’re looking everywhere but at Vash’s face. Dropping his arms, you turn around, “Okay, I'm going to bury myself in a hole bye Vash.” You turn around quickly, ready to run off but before you can Vash grabs you from behind slamming your back into his chest and hugging you around the shoulders. 

He rests his face in the crook of your neck, “I don't deserve you.” Vash mutters into your neck, you blush brightly, and you sigh smiling softly, “You do you really do Vash.”  You’re not sure on how long Vash holds you, but you’re not complaining. You’re a little embarrassed to have been so open with your feelings, Vash can be a little dense so you doubt he’ll look deeper into your words. 

Which is fine, just being like this together is enough. Your whole-body freezes, when you feel Vash place a gentle kiss on top of your head, “I care about you too.” You were going to die, your pretty sure you blacked out or at least your legs gave out. “Whoa!” you hear Vash cry out moving his arms to keep you steady and, on your feet, “Are you okay?” 

No, you really weren't, you let out a yelp as Vash spins you so you’re facing him. He leaned in close, too close! You shoved him back, leaving your hands on his chest and bowing your head. “Just… hold on.” You focus on composing yourself, you look up as you feel Vash place his hands over yours and he’s looking at you with such a sincere smile it makes you want to cry. 

“It's okay I get it, you’re okay…” a pause, he looks unsure, “We’re okay.” Your eyes widen, and then soften he's giving you an out. You relax, you need to work through these feelings first by yourself and then you two could figure out where to go from there. 

You smile softly at him, “Yeah, we’re okay.”
