This is the last one from BSD Anthology’s account! Higuchi is trying so hard!

Ce-la has busy with stuff lately (they do more work in a week than I do in a year). Apparently, they translated something like 50 pages?!

I am going to be a bit busy for the next while (slightly distant future). I am getting adenoid surgery on the 16th. It’s a 10-day recovery period too (not sure if I’m going to be a vegetable or not).

I've finally read the vacation au you guys made, and Chapter 1 is freakishly good. Especially how you guys portray Alastor's pov. It has no right to be that funny. Im grateful to see the wardrobe showcases. It really adds a lot of flavor to the fic.

Though throughout the fic, I kept wondering what Dawn would look like if she joined her parents' vacation business venture in the human realm.

I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying it so far!!! :D The way @hazbinhobo writes Alastor is 100% in my top 3 of any fic I've read, the way they manage to tickle the most ridiculous nonsense out of this guy without any of it feeling out of character is INSANE

may I ask what you think is the reason that Chuuya doesn't like Oda,

My theory is that Chuuya thinks that Oda refusing to kill due to cowardice, sees it as leaving a job unfinished but I don't know (sorry for any grammar mistakes, English is my second language)

Asdfghjk I’m sorry anon but I don’t think Chuuya’s the type of person to like killing all that much? He seems to actively despise that he does it, actually, if his words to Detective Murase about him not deserving are to be believed. Hell, every time he’s up against the ADA he keeps insisting that no one *needs* to die if they just do XYZ, a concern that only he, out of the rest of the Mafia, shows! Chuuya values human life a lot, and ends up empathizing with people even if they are his enemy, if some of their morals align with his.

That being said, I do think part of Chuuya’s dislike for Oda is Oda’s passivity. Oda’s ability is very powerful, but he doesn’t use it to defend himself or anyone else unless he has no other choice. And Chuuya views violence as justifiable if it’s on behalf of the people he cares about, be it the Sheep or the Mafia. He might also just dislike Oda because of his proximity to Dazai. Dazai’s the worst, he’s cruel, manipulative, downright evil at times, and yet Oda doesn’t do anything to stop him. Oda is a genuine friend to Dazai, despite knowing what he’s like, and I don’t think Chuuya can understand that, not unless he unpacks a whole lot of his own baggage. He doesn’t exactly like Ango much, either, though he does point out Ango tried his best to stop the government from using Shibusawa, not enable them.
