Like ffs, a weasel is more closely related to a jaguar than quetzalcoatlus is to ANY dinosaur, there's at least 160 million years between quetzalcoatlus and its common ancestor with dinosaurs!

Now that I've accepted the Sigmar betrayal and am sort of starting to get excited about it, I'm losing my mind over how insane the combo of symbolism and drama is here.

Maka (the wizard) played Sigmar in chess and took his king using the rook. Maka has known that Sigmar was Dr. Purity for AGES now, and just let it happen, because as long as Sigmar was preoccupied with Rook, he wasn't working on taking over the world. And so Rook is being used as a chess piece by not just the guy who's betraying him but by one of his supposed friends.

And Maka knew that Rook was getting close to Sigmar, and knew that Rook has never had a truly good, loving, caring person in his life outside of Zara, and he let Rook believe that Sigmar was that person for AGES.

And Rook is going to hate him for that. When the anger finally comes, it's not going to be directed at Sigmar, it's going to be directed at Maka. And frankly it's justified. Who are Maka and Warren (the gunslinger) to lecture Rook about hiding things from the party (things that have less of an effect on the rest of the party than they do on Rook) when they're simultaneously hiding something massive from Rook that affects him more than anyone else.

That knowledge is certainly not going to help with Rook's complete and utter lost of trust in all other people. He was finally starting to open up to and trust people, and then the first person he ever opened up to betrayed him, and the people who were urging him to be open were hiding things from him.
