I'm not thinking about it. I am making the active decision to not think about it. If I think about it, I will spiral. I cannot spiral right now. There is work to do and life to live. So for now, I am not thinking about it.
I will remember this though. There are approx 345 million people in the US. 71 million is a lot. It's a scary lot. But it is not half. Not even a quarter.
I believe, I have to believe, that most people did not want this. That most people are kinder than this.

#my art#mission to zyxx#C-53#pleck decksetter#dar mtz#ok time for some of my appearance headcanons#i was just gonna give c little dot eyes but i was goofing around with the doodle#and i was like. oh actually little light up ocular sensors that look like 👁️👁️ are kinda funny#i'm kinda trying to hit the space where the juck bot frame could conceivably have the same inner workings as the c frame#but it's got more like. idk plating and synthetic skin and stuff#i also think that ideally this type of frame is supposed to be more fully covered? with skin. less visible joints#and is supposed to have a cooler better looking face#but they got it at a discount store that sorta refurbished it juuuuuuust well enough to sell#they also mention in the show that the eyes glow and the jaw comes off#if there were any other details i forgot about them#i like tellurians to be Pretty Much Human#but I do like the pointy ears interpretation for one main reason:#i can put perfect little pointy ones on tellurians that are the Standard for good looks (rolphus etc.)#and give pleck ones that are slightly larger and a little bent. i just think that's fun#i'm also a short pleck truther and do not believe he is skinny. that man is at least midsized. actually probably just midsized#cause if he were too big he would be too cool#ohh and first time drawing the k'hekk eye yayyyy. it should probably be nastier but i can only do so much#dar i really imagine round cause it's like the classic Big Guy shape and they have no bones in their head so it can't be that structured#bodywise my design is def inspired by tikkitronictonic and snuffysbox's designs#i was at a total loss on how to interpret the talons and chutes and flaps when I was listening and this is easy and smooth#maybe the only major difference is that i imagine dar is pretty hygienic and furry scales feel like they'd be hard to keep clean#with all the uh. goings on#so i've got those across the chest and arms and then the torso is smoother in my mind#also ik dar is supposed to be like twice pleck's size but it's hard to stand these people next to each other#my brother said they made up a thing called mass shifting in transformers g1 to excuse the scale issues. so i'll do it too. get off my case

#my art#haikyuu#hinata shouyou#hinata shoyo#took me ~2hrs. a little less maybe#i feel more confident at drawing bodies now. but faces and heads are incredibly difficult#not only the anatomy is hard but the face should also be recognisable#and finding the golden mean between realism and anime style feels like an impossible task#but well. nothing you can do but try your best to learn#on a different note. i remembered i have free will and can draw something besides spy x fam and magus' bride#i wasn't restricting myself to these two works. but i got so attached to the characters that i forgot i could draw someone else#im watching haikyuu for the 3rd time (watched it in 2015 and then one more time in 2017)#it's one of the VERY few animes i don't find cringe after a long break and love just as much as i did during my teenage years#it's a bit too dramatic sometimes but i don't mind that at all#the animation is mind-blowing...#and the humor too#kageyama drawing in the next post... i'll continue my ramble there#traditional illustration#pencil illustration#hq

Would it be blasphemy to say that I actually don't want another Dragon Age game?
#i think that Veilguard wrapped most things up nicely#like i think that a fifth da game would be dragging it out at that point#not saying that i don't want another game in set in thedas#they should idk#pull a fable 2 and make the next game 200 years into the future lmao#i just think that trying to do another game set in the dragon age#with the current cast of characters#and the state of thedas by the end of Veilguard#i think its time to put the franchise to rest#before it suffers from the same problem a lot of movie franchises are atm; making too many sequels with unnecessary filler content#whether there's another game or not#i'll be drawing and writing about these games for years to come <3#i love these games and my silly little OC's and their silly little partners :)#dragon age#dragon age veilguard#dragon age origins#dragon age 2#this isn't a criticism of the devs btw#i loved Veilguard!#its more just that i cant see a way for anything more to happen in the Dragon age in Thedas#without it feeling like it's dragging the series out#we need to move into a new age in Thedas was what im trying to get at lol

Fic-to-Art #43: Azula vs. Unnuaq
Not too surprising that my latest prompt, "epic", would yield this particular result in the poll, considering this scene happened quite a short time ago. Here's our Patreon artwork for the past month, I took a bit longer to post it due to Glaze and Nightshade taking too much time, but here we are.
I've said it a few times, but... this was goddamn cathartic to draw, not because of the scene itself, but because I channeled my emotions regarding real life events into how I depicted Azula's rage. I very much worked on this while watching from afar as my country fights for its freedom and finally is in a promising position to seize it, even if all attempts are being blocked by the tyrannical government in charge, unsurprisingly. So... I find myself more than a little spread out lately, my mind all over the place, eager for any tidbit of news that tells me it's finally ended for the better. It hasn't yet. Only time will tell what the outcome of this particular mess will be...
It's that much nicer to actually know the script and be aware of where things are going, huh? Gladiator's going into a pretty high tension stage, and we're on our way to the story's biggest climax. May my country find a conclusion that fills me with the same hope I can nowadays write into Gladiator's upcoming chapters... and may you all enjoy this piece as well, intense and wild as it is.
